the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - Patients throwing up in front of Seyton was nothing new, it was a weekly occurance in the infirmary when older students snuck firewhiskey into their dorm rooms, or a bad bug was going around the school and the infirmary was packed with wheezing students. It had decidedly more of an impact, however, when the sick one was his own brother, and the cause wasn't an innocent alcoholic drink or two or a virus. Even if the vomiting was just from the apparation trip and not from Fenrir's brutal beating, it didn't make Seyton feel any better about his little brother's condition. The cloudy eyes, the confused expression, and of course the inability to remember what had gone on moments before... definitely not caused by apparation. Sure, if someone didn't know what was about to happen before it did their memory could become a little bit fuzzy for a few seconds, but it cleared quickly, and wouldn't affect even an already injured kid this much. Seyton remembered that look in Fenrir's eyes, how sure he'd been that no matter what they wouldn't just be allowed to leave the alpha werewolf behind with no further confrontation... "The bastard erased your memory," he growled under his breath, so softly that even he could barely hear it. Occlumency and leglimency, though powerful abilities in their own right, sometimes paled in comparison to others. How useful would it be to be able to fly at will, or send messages through patronuses? Even more useful, though, was the same unfortunate abilities Fenrir had. Completely unsuspecting victims could be cast down by any spell when no wand or words were needed. It must have been cast just as Sey apparated, but still hit Jasper in that millisecond as they disappeared. At least it hadn't been a more harming curse... he didn't even want to think about the possibilities there. "You... you were attacked, Jasper. By-" Maybe it was best he not know... or at least not at this very minute. Blssfully unaware of what his dad was capable of... but then again, Fenrir would likely be back, and Jasper would need to know what had happened. While he was bleeding out was not the time for that to happen, though. Wait until they got to the infirmary and Jasper was at least stabilized and out of danger... then Seyton could see what could be done about their father's damned spell. "... Over by the shrieking shack. You're going to be fine, though. I just need to get you up to the infirmary, okay?"He looked up to the school, which seemed dauntingly far away at the moment... the issue would be getting Jasper there. Once in the school there were passageways all over the school that could serve as little shortcuts to the hospital wing and help. He just needed to get Jasper to the school, hopefully without the boy fainting... but even if he did that was easy to manage. Levitation spells went a long way. (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

Jasper couldnt make out the words that his brother muttered under his breath. His head was still pounding which is mainly all he could hear over his breathing and the sound of Seyton's feet cruncing through the snow as he moved. His eyes closed, and he shivered, though he wasnt feeling cold. His body felt like it was trembling, the effort of staying awake, and upright and let alone to keep breathing was draining him, and slowly the color was draining from his face again after going red from the apparition. He listened to his brother talk, but the words sounded all jumbled. He had been attacked . . who would attack him? He couldnt for the life of him remeber and as he tried it made his head throb more.
He didnt move, just sat on his knee's, his body hunched over them as he tried to focus on what his brother was saying. His head lolled against the crook of his arm and he shook his head. He didnt want to go to the hospital wing all he wanted to do was sleep, and while his eyes were closed it would be far to easy to drift off into the darkness and let it engulf him and the pain that was running through his body. He remebered the shrieking shak, the cold he had felt while he had been sitting there, the peaceful way it had been quiet, and then nothing it was like someone had cut the memories from his head and he shook his head. "I . . d-dont . r-remeber!" He said, his head shaking back and forward in his disorientation.
He heard his brother say something about the hospital wing and his head shook again. He was actually too scared to move but he knew he would need to in a few seconds, but the thought wasnt too pleasing. After all, last time he had tried to move it had resulted in him covering the snow in sick, and it made the fire in his chest grow. "i'm . . f-fine h-here" He said, his face crining as he winced and his hand shifted furhter up his side trying to hold the injury, as if it would help it. He put his hand on the ground and shook his head his teeth biting his lip hard as he aimed to force himself off the ground, hoping it might be enough to convince Seyton.
He managed to straighten his legs underneath him but he couldnt straighten his whole body, the agony of it would have been too much so instead he stayed hunched over, his head remained looking down and he thought he was okay. Until he started swaying violently as his head swum again. He groaned and grabbed his head and staggered to the side slightly, his arm reaching out to grab anything it could as he swayed not wanting to have to fall to the ground again.

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - The younger Greyback looked so pitiful, crumpled down on his knees, covered in blood and just looking a mess in general... Seyton had to swallow his anger, the fury that ran deep through his veins, urging him to go right back to the shrieking shack and do what he'd been too weak and inexperienced to do eight years previous. Was it wrong for a son to want to kill his father? Not in Seyton's opinion. Fenrir Greyback wasn't a father of his. If he had to choose a man to be one, he would much rather select his adoptive father, Robert Jonasson, instead of Fenrir. As far as he concerned the alpha werewolf was just a criminal. A monster. He didn't deserve to waste the earth's air with his repulsive words and breath. Unfortunately the last time Seyton had been infuriated enough to do real damage to the man, he'd just been a kid two years older than Jasper himself. He'd been little more than a little teenage boy, too angry to think straight, and hadn't had the experience, control, or strength to do any real damage to his much hated father. Now he was eight years older. Eight years stronger. Eight years more controlled and calculative and just smarter in general... maybe he could do some damage now. But Jasper was the pressing matter here, not getting revenge on his father for Angel or his little brother. He had to focus on the Gryffindor student, and not on who had hurt him so badly. Sey's whole body shook with the rage that he struggled to control, his hands clenched into tight fists at his side until the shaking subsided and he relaxed. He hated the temper that came with the werewolf blood. It made it hard to focus on anything else but whatever it was that infuriated him so much, but he had to put off those emotions to look after Jasper at the moment, so he forced himself to relax and get into 'business-mode'. Crouching beside his brother, he placed a hand on the boy's shoulder as gently as possible. "I think your memory was erased, Jasp, but it's okay, we'll get it back." They had to get it back. Jasper needed more than just Seyton's word to know what their father was capable of, and nothing was more powerful than memory. Already the older werewolf's mind was thinking of ways to try to lift the spell... counter charms, potions... could leglimency help? That was right up Seyton's alley. Besides, maybe the effects of the spell were weakened because it had hit him just as they apparated... maybe it didn't have its full effect and therefore would be easier to life. Sey could only hope. The stutter and pauses in Jasper's already weak voice did a whole lot to boost Seyton's confidence and belief in his words. Not. If it were not such a serious situation, the nurse might have laugh at the absurdity of what his little brother was saying. How could he claim to be okay when he'd been coughing up blood and throwing up? Mind you, seeing as he didn't have any memory of Fenrir he might not realize exactly how bad of shape he was in... but shouldn't the pain and blood be a sign? "Don-" he cut off his warning as Jasper struggled to his feet. Sey rose with him, and when the boy teetered dangerously on the point of faceplanting against the earth again he quickly grabbed his arm with one hand to steady him, while wrapping his other arm around his little brother's back. "You are not fine here. I need to get you help now. Can you walk?" What a stupid question. Did Jasper really look in any state to just walk into the school? But once said, the words couldn't be taken back. (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

Jasper shook his head as he heard his brother's attempt at dissuading him from standing up. But nothing was going to, he didn't want to be laying down while he was hurting, and it might not make sense to people, hell it didn't even make sense to jasper right now. Nothing made sense to Jasper right now. He felt Seyton grab his arm, and he flinched as his brother put his arm around him to stop him from toppling over. Jasper flinched at the contact, but he leaned into his brothers side weakly. He was standing, yes, but he would need help if he was going to walk, and though he had his pride, he wasn't fussed about looking strong in front of Seyton, not when what he really wanted to do was curl up and cry as the agony tore threw his body.
He tried to take another breathe, feeling the air catch in his throat as he did, his body being racked with coughs again, his frame shaking with the force and he paled again. The pain ripped through his body as he did, and he groaned, he felt his stomach lurch, from pain, or from shock, or just because it could, Jasper had no idea and he hunched slightly and coughed again, the snow this time being stained with the red as it was forced out of his mouth. He wiped his mouth, and was about to mutter sorry to his brother, for fear he had just thrown up on him too, his eyes glanced to the side and his eyes managed to focus on the dried blood on Seyton's shirt. Seytone wasn't hurt, and Jasper's eyes narrowed.
Hos mind wasn't thinking clearly, his thoughts taking on a horrible turn as he suddenly struggled to get away from Seyton, his mind snapping from the stress and the pain as he snarled. "Y-you . . y-you d-did this!?" He managed to say as he tried to stagger away from his brother, ignoring the spinning in his head as he did and he wheeled to face Seyton. It was the only explanation! Seyton had been with him, and where was everyone else!? Surely if he'd been attacked someone else would he there right? He tried to glare at his brother, wanting a justifiable answer. "You . . y-you d-didnt t-tell m-me . . w-who a-atta . . akced me . .! s-so . . s-so i-it . . w-was y-you! . . t-the b-blood . . t-the b-lood . . " He said, the color draining from his face till there was none left in his cheeks, and he looked chalky against the moonlight.
The effort of moving away from his brother had taken it's tool and he groaned again, his vision blurring so he couldn't focus on his brother and the black spots flashing over his eyes made him dizzy. He put a bloodied had to his head and tried to keep his gaze on seyton but he could see it drifting, it was like he wasn't in his body anymore, but he was watching from a distance, and then he was dropping, his eyes closing as his knee's buckled and everything he had been through that night was finally taking it's toll on his, his head lolled to the side, and his body fell toward the ground,

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - How could Jasper, even in such a confused mindset, believe Seyton would be capable of abusing and assaulting him like that? He tried not to take the boy's rambling personally, but it was hard. Seyton made a point to prove that he was not the bloodthirsty monster that werewolves were depicted as in all of the stories and news casts. You never heard anything good about werewolves. When they made the news it was usually in the headline 'Werewolf Attacks Child!' or 'Werewolf Kills Three!' Never 'Werewolf Saves a Life!' or anything of that sort. Seyton had no delusions about changing that. He didn't even have any delusions that he was anything but a monster. He just tried to fight that side of himself the best he could to prove that even if you were a monster, it didn't mean you were pure evil. That was probably why he'd became a healer. It was the most useful, least harmful job in the wizarding world, in his opinion. He could heal wounds instead of inflicting them. On any subject, or to any person, but his father he thought he was a rather gentle soul. Sure, he had his temper like all werewolves, but he could name the times he'd acted on such fury since graduating Hogwarts on his hands. That he would be able to attack his own little brother, for whatever reason, was completely unthinkable to him, so how could Jasper let himself believe that? He supposed he had to try to see the kid's side of the story, too. 'Wake up' in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by only one person who just so happens to be covered in his blood, and given no explanation whatsoever... yeah, it seemed pretty suspicious. It still hurt, but given Jasper's state of mind he supposed he could kind of understand the way he'd come to this conclusion. It was Seyton's job to tell him what really happened, and make him believe it without the kids memories at all right now. He just hoped that Jasper had enough faith and trust in him to listen and believe the truth when he was told it. If he'd rather believe in the goodness of their dear Dad instead of Seyton, well, that would quite plainly suck. He opened his mouth, about to argue the 'You attacked me' point, but stopped when he saw Jasper's eyes seem to go unfocused, he swayed slightly, and Seyton saw all the signs of fainting a moment before his little brother crumpled to the ground, landing in a heap. Of course the nurse was crouched down beside him in an instant, hand lightly on his brother's cheek. This was not good. With the amount of blood he must have lost because of Fenrir, fainting could equal never waking u- No, he wasn't going to allow himself to even think of that possibility. He just had to get Jasper to the hospital wing ASAP. With little difficulty, seeing as he'd done this many times before and Jasper was still a rather small kid and still growing, Seyton moved his hands under his brother and lifted upwards until he was standing, cradling the unconscious gryffindor in his arms. Had Jasper been awake, he might have tried to move slowly, but the kid was unconscious for now, and Seyton had to take advantage of that to make up for lost time. He broke in to a run while Jasper could, hopefully, not feel the pain caused by the little jolts on the ground at the faster speed until they were nearly at the castle. Every so often his eyes would dart back to the half-werewolf's face, both hoping and dreading to see them open because, if Jasper thought he was the one who'd attacked him, Seyton guessed he might not take too kindly to being carried by him, either. Jasper's body sagged with relief as seyton picked him up. He could feel his body being moved, but right now, he wasn't in any pain. He kinda wondered if this was what dying was like, but he decided against it. His thoughts feeling fuzzy as his vision faded to black, and his head lolled into the crook of Seyton's arm as he ran with him. The blood was still running down his back, no doubt covering seyton in streaks of red as he carried him up to the castle. It seemed like an eternity before he stirred again, and the pain came back with a vengeance. He felt every movement Seyton made, every time his older brother's foot hit the ground it sent a spasm of agony up through Jasper's body, but his voice wouldn't cry out, and his body refused to turn as Jasper struggled mentally with the thought of getting away.
He managed to flicker his eyes open slightly, his eyes shifting to try and look where they were, everything was moving to fast and it was making him dizzy again. His stomach couldn't handle that again, so with a strangled groan made it out of his mouth, and his eyes closed as it did. Hit bottom teeth dug into his top lip tightly, now his voice was back it was a fight to not scream out in pain everytimg he was jostled, the bones in his chest moving with the breaks, and when seyton moved, they moved, and when they moved it was like fire.
He coughed, his cough raspy, and rough as it escaped his lips, his head turned to the side, hiding his head from the light and the movement from what was making him dizzy, and his head rested against seyton's arm. He didn't know what to think, he still though Seyton had done this to him. After all, he had been the only one around when it had happened, but . . if he had done this to him, why was he trying to help him now. Surely he would have left him at the entrance to the grounds had he wanted him to die. He shook his head slightly at the thoughts and decided that he was in too much pain to care right now and all he waited to happen was the pain to stop.
( sorry it's so short!! )

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - His heart both soared and fell as he hear Jasper’s groan, because it was at the very least a sign that he was not dead yet, but a good indicator that he’d soon be conscious (if he wasn’t already), and Seyton knew that being awake would be more than painful for the kid. There was no way that he could consider slowing his pace for Jasper’s comfort, though. Every second away from the infirmary was a second wasted, in his opinion. “Sorry,” he muttered, not even sure if Jasper would be able to hear him. Seyton wasn’t sure why he was whispering. It was far more likely that a bloody kid being carried by a werewolf would attract the attention of others around the school than his voice. Besides, it seemed like there was no one around to see or overhear him. That could be a blessing, but Sey was currently thinking it was much more of a curse. If it were a blessing, that was only because anyone who saw them might assume, as Jasper had, that Seyton was the attacker and they’d rush to defend the fifth year and get him away from the nurse. It was a curse because, even if they assumed as much, it was a matter that Seyton felt could easily be fixed, and Jasper would be safe and quickly looked after without the added stress of being around the guy he currently believed had attacked him. Jasper’s health was clearly the priority here. It felt like every five seconds the elder Greyback was biting his lip in worry, glancing down at his little brother as he coughed or shifted ever so slightly in Sey’s grasp, and muttering another “Sorry.” He had no delusions that passing out had made the kid recover his memory. He probably thought that Seyton was carrying him into the forests to finish him off, which was kind of ironic if you think about it seeing as their father had been dragging him into the forests a half hour before. Seyton wanted to explain as they ran, but knew that in his brother’s current state all of his words would likely go right over Jasper’s head. All he could do was hope that he didn’t do something stupid, like try to run off the moment they got to the infirmary, and injure himself further before Seyton had a chance to explain what had happened. Taking a hard left on the first hallway from the entrance of the school, Seyton shifted Jasper in his grip (yes, there was another “sorry!” there), to be able to dig his wand out of his pocket and point the instrument at a painting of one of the hospital wing, as it had looked decades upon decades ago. “Alohamora.” The painting swung open, revealing a passageway that Seyton immediately rushed through, still cradling his brother carefully in his arms. He didn’t bother to summon light to help him see his way, he’d wandered through this passage countless times since he was a student, and had the route practically memorized. Besides, there were certain advantages to being a monster, and sight was one of them. The passageway opened, a few minutes later, to a doorway hidden behind a similar painting right outside the hospital wing. Thirty seconds later the two Greybacks were in a, quite disappointingly, empty room. Deserted. Not even a patient on the beds, and certainly not another healer to help Seyton out. Teeth gritted in frustration, Sey laid his brother down as gently as possible on the bed next to his office. “Don’t move,” he warned with a slight growl, though the growl was from stress and not aimed at Jasper in any way. Sometimes it helped, being a werewolf nurse. It was easy to become authorities and even intimidate patients into doing as he needed, even the unruly ones who’d been in fights or caused trouble for no good reason. A general consensus thanks to the vicious reputation of a werewolf was that to cross one you had to be an idiot. Good thing I’m an idiot. He moved to the far end of the infirmary, a section closed off by curtains where all supplies were kept. He scanned his eyes over the shelves and drawers, trying to find the right potions to use that would not cause death when used together. He selected two to start off with, and after getting some of each into little grey cups he went back to his brother. “For the pain,” he explained, indicating one, “and for internal bleeding,” indicating the other. The pain potion would only dull most of the pain, not eliminate it completely, thanks to Jasper’s poor shape, but anything was better than what the kid was experiencing right now, right? As for the bleeding potion, well, that was no miracle worker by any means, but it was a start. “Drink.” (OOC: You can say Seyton’s holding up the drinks for him, if you don’t think Jasper would have the energy/strength to get them himself. That is, if you plan on him actually drinking them… xD) (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

Hearing all the sorry's come out of his brothers mouth made Jasper frown slightly. Why was his brother saying sorry. He shook his head slightly and he opened his mouth to talk, but again, no sound would come out, or no sound that sounded like a word.It was more a pain of noise, strangled, weak. His eyes closed again, the darkness taking him over once again as they went up the long narrow hallway, Jasper didn't particularly want to see where he was being taken, so he let his brother carry him, and the darkness drag him down with it, spinning and twisting into the labyrinth that was Jasper's mind.
He had no idea how long he was down and out for this time, but his eyes opened slightly, the light from the hospital wing dragged him out of his state slowly, the pain etching back into his features as he woke. It didn't seem so bad now, the pain ebbing away slightly, as he was still for a few seconds. But that all changed when he was lowered slightly, the fire flared back up, and Jasper couldn't help but let out a loud groan of pain, and he shifted, trying to get out of his brothers grasp, his body hitting the bed and a yelp escaped his mouth. He took ragged breaths, the breathe hissing through his teeth as he did, his teeth clenched together, in some futile hope it would stop him crying out.
He watched Seyton walk away, having not heard what he said, and he reached a hand out and tried to grab his brothers hand. Where was he going? Yes Jasper thought he had done this to him, but he was also man enough to admit that the thought of being alone scared the crap out of him right now, his fingers brushed Seyton's hand as he walked away, but his hand fell and he winced and made to pull his arm back, the words coming out of his mouth in a strangled sound again. He groaned in frustration and pain as he made to lay on his back, his head digging into the pillow as he shifted it, his whole body moving restlessly, the pain ravaging him and he had to move, yes it made it worse, but he couldn't help it, laying still meant he was giving into the darkness, and he didn't want to this time, he didn't want to go alone.
He closed his eyes against the light of the flame, burning brightly in the lamp next to the bed, his head moving to face away from it, the light flickering on his eyelids, he couldn't escape from it, the way it danced, it was almost hypnotizing. He heard his brothers voice again, his scent close, the sound of his footsteps sounding close. Jasper's nose wrinkled when he smelt what was in his brothers hands. His eyes opened slightly, his body only able to summon up the courage to open them and he looked at his brother, he shifted again and looked at the little Grey cups. His head suddenly felt very heavy, and his body had become still, the energy and life sapping out of him as the blood continued to seep through and out of him, the white sheets of the bed felt sticky and wet from the blood running dripping out of the gashes on his back.
He made to shift slightly, his head like iron as he tried to lift it off the pillow, he was struggling to lift his head when suddenly he felt Seyton's hand slide under the back of his head, lifting his head slightly, the grey cup suddenly touched his lips, and Jasper made to swallow it, knowing it will help him, and knowing it would help take the pain away. He cringed as he swallowed without tasting the liquid first, his throat burned as the potion slid down the back of his throat, his head shifting in seyton's grasp, his stomach clenching and protesting at the taste of the liquid and he tried to keep it down, his head turning and his body shifting again, a low groan escaped his lips, though, he could feel it working, the pain in his side was slowly ebbing away, slowly.

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - It was the coughing up of blood that concerned Seyton. That was the most obvious indicator that something was terribly wrong with his little brother, which was why a potion for internal bleeding was one of the first he’d given him. He’d never had to tell a mother that their child was dead yet in his eight years of nursing, and he damned well wasn’t going to start meeting the mother of his half-brother to deliver such news with the added bonus of ‘Oh, and his dad did it!’ He wasn’t going to allow himself to relax, even if Jasper seemed better, until he was 100% sure the kid was going to be okay. Injuries like he’d sustained were tricky. They could seem to disappear only to flare up worse than ever in the middle of the night, when no one was around to help… Again Seyton forced himself to shake his head and knock himself out of such thoughts. That train of thought was irrelevant because Jasper was going to be perfectly fine after recovering for a while. “Sorry, we’re all out of cherry flavored ‘Pain-be-gone’,” Sey couldn’t help but chuckle at the faces his brother made of the potion. All good medicines rarely tasted well, whether it was a muggle medicine or a wizarding potion. That was basically the law of the world, wasn’t it? Nothing good for you could taste good, too. The nurse moved the cup away, setting it on the table beside Jaspers head and moved the other cup forwards. “You need to drink all of this. It’s much more important than the last, even if it doesn’t taste like it.” Sey had been fed this potion before, back when he was the one in the hospital wing after he’d gone to confront Fenrir on Angel. He knew firsthand that there likely was not a viler tasting substance in the entire universe, but it could be the difference between it being like nothing ever happened within a week, and, well, nothing ever happening again for Jasper, so the kid would have to suck it up. Still using one hand to hold his head up, Sey cast a levitation spell on the cup that would hold it before Jasper’s lips so that his wand hand was free. He directed his attention away from Jasper’s face and muttered quiet spells under his breath, watching small multicolored jets of light shoot out of the end of his wand and disappear in various places of the Gryffindor’s body. Some were meant to help out with any internal injuries, while others tried to heal the various wounds around his body. Nothing should be painful for Jasper, especially not with the first potion in his system, so Sey thought the most he should be feeling was slight tingles as the spells took effect. “You’re going to be okay, Jasper,” he took a pause in the incantations to murmur quietly, giving his brother a half-hearted smile. Seyton couldn’t imagine that his words would mean much to the younger werewolf, seeing as it was believed that he was the one who’d inflicted this on him in the first place. “I mean, you’ll have to stay in the infirmary for a few days, maybe closer to a week, but you’ll recover.” Now there was only the matter of broken bones to fix, though any internal bleeding that might be going on would take constant surveillance and regular potions to try to heal completely, but first Seyton paused, biting his lip as he looked at his brother. Nothing was so urgent that this couldn’t be cleared up, or at least partially cleared up, first. “Jasper, I swear to God I didn’t do this to you. You know I wouldn’t.” Why was he still hesitating to say who the hell it had been? It wasn’t like Fenrir out to get his kids should be such a terrifying shock, not considering who the guy actually was. Still, Sey figured he’d at least wait to see if Jasper would listen to him before ‘accusing’ their dad of the attack. (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

Relief that the [potion was dulling the pain, spread out through Jasper's body, and as it did, the young gryffindor slumped back against the bed slightly, his body untensing as the pain left his body, well most of the pain anyway. At most, all he had were a few dull aches here and there, but compared to what he had been felling this was nothing, he tried to shift his head again, to drop it back against the pillow when he heard his brother's voice again, this time telling him to drink another potion, he opened his eyes and looked at the little grey cup floating just above his lips. He frowned slightly, but he nodded his head slightly and he felt the liquid run into his mouth again. The taste, was foul!
As soon as the liquid landed in his stomach he gagged, his head turning to the side as he groaned in disgust, his body shifted and he curled slightly, his face contorted as the taste was still in his mouth and he shook his head slightly. He needed something to get the taste out of his mouth. He glanced at Seyton, his gaze still tired as he mumbled. "w-water? . . p-please . . " He said as he coughed, the potion settling in his stomach and he relaxed again slightly, all that was left was the horrible taste. He knew it was necessary though, and he couldn't really blame Seyton for forcing it down his throat, he was only trying to save his life after all, which was still puzzling to him.
He shifted slightly, feeling that he could now since it no longer burned like fire. He heard his brother muttering words, and his eyes fell to the wand that was shooting spells at his body, his eyes followed the trails of multi colored light's. He could feel them working, it waswasn'txactly painful, but it wasn't exactly comfortable as the spells weaved through him, working their magic as they did and attempting to heal the injuries they fell upon. His eyes closed again, and he groaned as they worked, feeling the tingling sensation through all parts of his body and he hated it really, it was annoying, and he could feel it and he really did want it gone. His head was still spinning slightly, and he made to pull his head out of Seyton's hand and tried to drop it back onto the pillow.
“You’re going to be okay, Jasper,” He heard the words come out of his brothers mouth and his eyes rolled slightly so he was looking at his brothers face. He really was finding it hard to believe, after all, when it was you who was injured, it was harder to see the positives of the situation, and it was damn near impossible to see the bright light at what was seemingly the darkest hour. He shook his head slightly, his mind still being the stubborn and non willing participant in this whole thing, and since he still thought Seyton was lying to him, and he had been the one to do this, well Jasper wanted to get away. He shook his head, and though his head was still heavy and his body protested at the very thought of moving.
Jasper managed to push himself up slightly, the sheer effort of it causing his forehead to sweat and he frowned. "w-well s-since y-you . . d-did this . . i g-guess your d-disappointed?" He said, his voice in a snarl slightly, He force his legs to drop off the side of the bed and he grabbed the table next to the bed and made to pull himself up so he was standing. It made his head spin, and his fingers gripped the table and he fixed Seyton with a glance as he stood, his body shaking, and the pain ebbing back into his body as he did, but at least his mind was clearing, it wasn't so fuzzy anymore, and while it was spinning, he was starting to clear. He shook his head slightly, still trying to make sense of the mess in his head.
“Jasper, I swear to God I didn’t do this to you. You know I wouldn’t.” Jasper looked at him in a confused glance all of a sudden. None of this was making any sense, and the thought that Seyton had done this wasnt as strong, and his brothers face was making him question his decision that Sey had done this. He put his hand to his head and he shook it, his voice coming out in a half whine as the confusion took it's toll. "Then w-who d-did!?" He half yelled, a cough racking his body as he did and he looked at Seyton for answers. His brother might be claiming he didn't do this, but he knew who had, and he wasn't telling the whole truth. And Jasper needed someone he could trust right now.

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - "w-water? . . p-please . . " “Sorry, not for ten minutes after drinking that stuff or the potion might not work,” Sey apologized, knowing firsthand how much his brother must loathe the foul taste that invaded his mouth while it’s cause saved his life. In his opinion there were few more disgusting potions out there, whether they saved your life or not. Thankfully he’d only really had one opportunity to test life-saving potions on himself. Since then he’d just had research of the different potions, as he needed to have as a healer. He lost count of the number of potions spoken of in the text books whose descriptions began with ‘This foul tasting potion…’ "w-well s-since y-you . . d-did this . . i g-guess your d-disappointed?" Seyton couldn’t even gather the energy, or determination, to find himself angry that he was still under suspicion here. He just looked at his brother with an almost sad expression in his eyes, almost as though he were still hurt by the Gryffindor’s suspicion, though he knew he couldn’t blame him for it. Jasper was one of his closest siblings, in the nurse’s opinion. If he thought he was capable of attacking him in cold blood, Seyton definitely couldn’t blame Angel for thinking that he was capable of it. After all, he’d known her for only a year and a half, however close he’d felt to her, and Jasper had been around him for over five now… “Think for a sec, Jasper. Why the hell would I attack you badly enough to kill you, then just heal you back up again? The infirmary isn’t exactly the scene for a torture session.” "Then w-who d-did!?" Sey was scowling ever so slightly, but because Jasper was standing when he was still very injured. Did the kid want to do more damage to himself? With a muttered word and a flick of his wand Jasper was lifted into the air and maneuvered into a lying position, quickly moving backwards to the bed again though he was set down as gently as a feather. “The ‘don’t move’ rule has not been lifted,” he advised, gently but firmly at the same time. He didn’t want Jasper to feel threatened by force, but it was for the student’s own good that Seyton had to take control. He’d strap the kid down with rope if he had to. He knew that Jasper must be pretty terrified at the moment, but Seyton had to put his brother’s health and safety above calming his paranoia. The nurse sighed, running his hand through his hair. Whether Jasper would believe him or not couldn’t be determined yet, but hey, he had to try, right? The truth was on his side, anyway. “It seems ‘Daddy Dearest’ is very intent on adding you to his collection of brainwashed full werewolf kiddies, Jasp, and my guess is you took to that about the same way I would’ve. I’m not quite sure what happened between you, but when I came along he was dragging you into the forest and you were, well,” he just gestured to Jasper’s whole bloodied state, letting the boy’s appearance do the talking. “I got you away from him, but I think he tried wiping our memories just as I apparated us the hell out of there, and he managed to hit you…” He bit his lip again. Now would be the moment for Jasper to call him a liar. (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

JJasper frowned and shook his head when Seyton pointed his wand,. he saw the slightl flick of it and suddenly he was in the air, the movment was quick, and suprisingly painless as his feet flew off the ground and he moved toward the bed, he squirmed slightly, attmepting to work out of the spell that was biding him and moving him back toward the stark white bed, and as he was put down in the bed he scowled. "i d-dont w-want to lay d-down" He said, his breath still cathing in his chest whenhe talked. He coughed and shook his head, the back of his head hitting the pillow hard as he slumped back and he gave in to it. He heard his brothers voice and his head turned toward him and his eyes narrowed slightly. SO he was going to pull the 'dont move' card.
He heard Seyton start talking again, his face turning into a frown slightly. What was Seyton talking about. He'd never met his father, had he? . . the onlly time he had heard of him was when he had bugged his mother enough to talk about him and then he hadnt liked what he heard, it had kinda scared him actually, but he had never met him, never even seen a picture of him. Jasper frowned slightly, his head shaking and he looked at his brother. "I . . I've n-never met o-our father!" He said, the tone coming through his mouth was condused, and he was getting distressed and restless. None of this was making sense, and while the pain had gone, the dizziness in his head was driving him crazy, he could only assume it was from his standing up, but it was assumed that it would go when he laid down right?
He shook his head again and looked at Seyton, his eyes watching his brother's face for any hint of a lie. He couldnt see one on his face, and that just made him feel all the more worse. He had been attacked by someone he didnt even remember. He shook his head and his head rolled back and his eyes looked at the ceiling while he thought about it. "So . . s-someone i d-ont e-even know . . n-nearly killed me!?" He said, his head turning back to Seyton as Jasper made to sit up, his stomach churning at the though of what had happened to him, just the thought of being in the same place as Fenrir was enough to turn his stomach, and he shook his head. "I . . . s-so . . he d-did this . . " He shook his head slightly. "i . . f-feel s-sick . . " He muttered, shaking his head and biting his lip. It was enough to make anyone sick, that their father, a person a kid was supposed to love . . and look up to . . could do this.
He looked over at Seyton again, the color still draining from his face and he shook his head again, his body sagging slightly as he sat there. He looked over at Seyton, his mind was still trying to think, for some memory of what had happened, but there was nothing, it was like someone had taken an eraser and rubbed out all the visions of it. He swallowed and dropped his head forward. "W-why the h-hell would he d-do that?" . . Jasper said in a small voice, his enegry lacking again, and he sniffed slightly. He shook his head and looked up again . . "I beleive you s-sey . . i d-do . . "

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - “Right now what your body needs is more important than what you want,” Sey informed Jasper before lowering his tone into a gentler, more brotherly one, “I know how you feel, Jasper. It sucks, but you’re going to have to do a lot of sitting around doing nothing without moving if you want to recover.” It wasn’t as though the nurse was blind to how terrible hospitals were… the endless waiting and sitting around doing absolutely nothing while someone you cared about, or you, recovered from terrible injuries, but as a nurse he knew that however much that sucked, it was necessary. Potions were amazing magic, but they were not miracle workers. They couldn’t go ‘poof, injury gone!’ and have Jasper up and running around in meadows chasing butterflies (however amusing a mental image that was) in a second. Jasper needed rest, and to rest he needed to stay still instead of standing up and wandering around the hospital wing or school. That could just reopen injuries and wounds, and if they weren’t caught in time Fenrir would be the least of Jasper’s concerns (and in Seyton’s opinion that said quite a lot). “As of an hour ago you have, and don’t worry, I’ll figure out how to get you to remember… maybe leglimency can help.” Already the nurse’s mind was rolling with everything he’d ever heard about the memory charm. Cases of it in the past, counter spells, counter potions… anything to cure it at all. There was never any guarantee that any of them would work… in fact, the only way that Sey knew worked flawlessly every time was for the wizard who cast the spell to lift it, but it went without saying that Fenrir would not be so lenient. That posed a definite problem… memory charms cast by powerful wizards (Seyton was bitter, but not enough to delude himself that the alpha werewolf was not a very powerful wizard) could cause permanent memory damage if attempted to lift in the wrong way… but he couldn’t just leave his brother with a chunk of his memory uncalled for. It wasn’t right. Was it really so unbelievable that his father would be so violent towards Jasper? The kid knew what Fenrir was capable of… or maybe he didn’t. Maybe he just knew all of the stories of how terrible the man was, without really hearing the evidence he needed to believe them. Sey had never shared his own personal account of how much he hated their dad with jasper… it just kind of went without saying in his expression and body language and hatred for all things Fenrir without a really steady explanation. Even if you hear stories of terrible deeds done by a person, they don’t really seem real until you get a first hand experience or hear of them from someone you knew well enough to know they weren’t lying. “You might not know him, but my guess is he’s been keeping tabs on you since you were little… at least since you came to Hogwarts, seeing as he’s got Zmeyette here. But I don’t think he was trying to kill you, or even wanted to. He just wanted to turn you, or else he could have just left you at the shrieking shack and disappeared. The killing threats only showed up when I did.” Sey knew he’d made his brother’s situation more dangerous, but he couldn’t have just stood by and watched him get dragged away to god knew where to be turned into a monster against his will. Fenrir might have gotten him the help he needed to recover from his injuries, but that would have been little consolation in Sey’s opinion. Jasper looked beyond scared. He looked so terrified that he was like a broken doll, utterly crumpled. Of course, the blood and state of his appearance didn’t exactly help push away that impression… he just looked so helpless that Sey couldn’t help but sit down on the bed beside him, ruffling his hair ever so slightly with a small smile. “There’s little rhyme or reason, if any, to what Fenrir Greyback does, Jasper. I guess he thought that if he turned you you’d be as loyal as any Slytherin offspring, and when you didn’t like that my guess is that he thought he’d beat ‘sense’ into you.” He sighed, realizing that that likely didn’t help ease Jasper’s mind. “Don’t worry about it. Well, okay, worry, but not too much. You went fifteen years without ever meeting him, maybe he’ll set his sights elsewhere… and if not, you’re at the school. He can’t harm you while you’re here. Just make sure you’ve got someone else with you if you go to Hogsmeade, and you’ll be okay,” those couldn’t be promises. Not really. Seyton didn’t know anything for sure, but he was trying to ease his brother’s mind and had a feeling he was failing. He dropped his arm around his brother, pulling him in to a hug, not too tight as he still kept in mind his brother’s injuries. “You’re going to be okay, Jasp. I promise.” (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

The thought that his father had been keeping tabs on him since he wad little was kind of a shock. He had always thought that his father had wanted nothing to do with him, that he had impregnated his mother without meaning to and walked out on her without a glance back and not knowing she was pregnant. But the fact he had been keeping tabs on him, scared him, he wondered how much Fenrir knew about his life, whether he knew he was dating a muggleborn? Or whether he was getting good marks . . Jasper really didn't have anything worth hiding, did he? He shook his head "W-why though?" He said as he looked at Seyton. The confusion in his eyes as he looked into his older brothers.
He shook his head, and bit his lip, looking down at the white of the hospital bed, though parts of it was stained with red, thanks to his back, the gashes partially healed thanks to the spells his brother had cast on his injuries, it wasn't as painful, and the pain now he was sitting on the bed had dulled again, he just had a weird feeling in his side, like something was dripping, but he put that down to just being out of it. He shifted a hand to his side, scratching the spot where he felt the weird sensation and he coughed, his body racked slightly as he coughed roughly, his lungs hurting again at the trauma of the coughing.
He shook his head and dropped his head forward, not really paying attention to what his brother was saying or not. All the energy and all the life he had seemingly had a few moments ago was fading, as his eyes started to close, he didn't think he could say any other words unless he really had to, and then he felt Seyton's arm come around him, he felt the urge to pull away and tell his older brother that he was fine, but he couldn't, his head dropped against Seyton's shoulder and he leaned into his brother's side tiredly, grateful his brother had been there to help him today, and probably save his life too. His eyes started to drift close, but they opened again and he shook his head slightly. "t-thanks . . a-and i'm o-only . . o-okay c-cause of y-you b-bro . . s-so t-thanks . . " He said tiredly, his voice tired as his eyes closed, and his head rested back against Seyton's shoulder.

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - "W-why though?" Sey sighed. He could tell in his brother’s slumped posture, weary tone, and the look in his eyes that he was exhausted. Explaining Fenrir, or at least Seyton’s view of the man, would just keep Jasper awake and now that he was stabilized a bit, it was safe for the kid to rest… Seyton couldn’t give him a pass on too many days of school without raising some questions from other members of the staff, questions that he wasn’t so sure he should answer anymore… so the sooner Jasper got rested up and healthy again, the better for him, right? Every student wanted to miss school, but he figured lying around in a hospital room drinking potions every few hours wasn’t exactly Jasper’s idea of a good time. He kept his mouth shut for the time being. "t-thanks . . a-and i'm o-only . . o-okay c-cause of y-you b-bro . . s-so t-thanks . . " Sey smiled slightly, his grip firmly around his brother to keep him upright and comfortable. ”It was my pleasure, Jasp… Well, pleasure’s not the right term, but you know what I mean… ‘Sides, I’m sure you can pay me back for saving your life in the future.” That last sentence was nothing but teasing. Sey would never ask for anything in return… was it strange to say that he’d gotten a sort of a thrill out of defying Fenrir again? The last time he’d faced his father he’d been so terrified for Angel, and furious at what Fenrir had done that he’d barely had the time or focus to think. This time had been different, and it had actually felt goo to show Fenrir that he couldn’t shove everyone around how he wanted and get away free with it all the time… once in a while he had to be stood up to, and Seyton was all too happy to give the alpha werewolf a bit of humbling. By his tone of voice Jasper was clearly exhausted, so Sey knew he couldn’t keep his brother awake any more. He’d be at the hospital for a few days, there would be plenty of time for them to talk. “You know what… explanations can wait, Jasp. You’ve had a long day, you need some sleep to recover. I’ll still be here when you wake up.” The student was practically falling asleep on his shoulder, and Sey knew that he, like lots of patients who’d gone through trauma, might not take too kindly to Seyton leaving him… so he just sat still, arm gently holding on to his little bro. He wasn’t sure how long passed. It seemed like forever. The hospital wing soon fell into silence, still with no other students or staff coming in leaving the two brothers alone, Sey sitting in the complete silence, listening to his little brother’s breathing and finding relief in it. He was letting himself believe that Jasper would be 100% okay… He was in the hospital wing surrounded by potions if anything were to ever go wrong… yeah, he’d be perfectly fine. Sey let his mind flick to different things, most of them involving Jasper, or Fenrir, or the ever present-in-his-mind Angel… She’d been around the school once recently, and he feared it might start into a trend for her… if Fenrir was lurking around, that wasn’t smart. Sure, Seyton hadn’t recognized her after eight years, but that didn’t mean his father would be so stupid if he happened to see her around the Quidditch pitch or anything else… It was kind of amusing, how similar he and Jasper were. Both Gryffindors… both had that bravery and determination all Gryffindors possessed… both raised mainly by their mothers (well, Sey said he had, anyways. He accounted all things good in his personality to Elodie)… and both had been in relationships with muggleborns at some point in their lives, Sey with Angel and Jasper with… “Oh shit,” he groaned rather loudly, shifting for the first time in hours to run his left hand through his hair in worry, then he froze, worried that his outburst and movement might have woken his brother. Jasper only nodded his head when Seyton spoke about explanations. His head was starting to drift into fuzziness, what always happened when one started falling to sleep. He shifted against Seyton's shoulder as he fell asleep, shivering slightly as the draft from the open doors blew through the hospital wing and his head nodded and lolled slightly as he fell into a sleep, his body falling into the bless of a dream, the colors flying around in his head, the shapes of the rowld spinning around in his head. He shifted in his sleep again, having always been a restless sleeper, he was never still in his sleep, always moving always twisting, and talking, he had been toldhe spoke and mumbled a lot in his sleep.
The dancing and swirling of the colors faded after a while, and his dream took on a nicer touch. He saw her, her face swivling and moving in his head. Nikki. He smiled at her image, he was suddenly ankle deep in snow, in a garden just outsie of hogsmeade, the graden covered in snow, the cadles from the house making it all look better, and he watched her dancing in the snow, on their very first date, he moved to her in the dream, feeling like he was floating, even through the snow, and he grabbed her, starting to dance with her, her laughing face etched into mind as he dreamed about her, shifting slightly, his head moving in his sleep as he dreamed.
Suddenly, the dream took on a darker turn, his face contorted into a frown and he looked around in the dream, his head moving as he did. The light from the candles was gone, and suddenly him and Nikki where in a dark place the snow and the beautiful garden gone, the likes of tall tree's around them, a full moon shining down on them. The feeling of being scared hit him, and he grabbed Nikki's hand on his dream, the fuzziness going as the dream took on a very real feeling, turning into a nightmare as it did. He and Kikki ran, they kept running and running but the tree's never let up, and suddenly there was a horrible growling sound, unlike that he had ever heard before, and eyes opened up, horrible, red colored eyes.
He froze, his hands moving to pull Nikki behind him, he spun around when he no longer felt her hand in his and he frowned when she wasnt there anymore. He called out to her in his dream, wanting to know where she was, his hand reaching the emtpy dark space for the hopes she was there, but he heard the growl again, his head snapping back into the direction of it, He suddenly saw a creature, slink through the tree's it was so dark jasper couldnt even see the outline of the creature, couldnt tell what it was, but it was suddenly launching its self at him, he fel back, raising his hands to cover his face when a few words rang through his dream “Oh shit,. He woke with a start his breathing fast and heavy as he pushed himself away from what he was leaning on and he groaned as he felt a shapr pain through his side as he moved fast.
He opened his eyes and looked around, trying to slow his breathing down and he had only just realised he was trembling. He bit his lip and shut his eyes. looking down at the bed and he breathed out, shaking his head as he did. It was then he saw Seyton was still sitting next to him, and hie eyes moved up to face his older brother as he bit his lip. "You stayed . . . thanks" He said softly, half not expecting his older brother to stay with him, he thought he would have gone off to get some sleep of his own, from what he remebed of Sey telling him, Sey had had a pretty rough day too. 'Sorry . . . nightmare . . " He said, hating to admit the fact he had been scared by a silly dream.

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - Maybe it wasn’t such a bad thing that Sey might have accidentally woken his brother up from needed rest… the muttering and sounds he’d been making in his sleep, the little movements, his agitated breathing when he woke… it didn’t exactly take a genius to figure out that he’d been having a less than peaceful sleep, so it was probably good that he was being woken from it. He needed real peaceful sleep, and that wouldn’t come with nightmares lurking at the corners of his mind every second. "You stayed . . . thanks" Sey just shook his head with a small smile. Of course he wouldn’t abandon his little brother… he knew from experience that when you were sick or injured your sleep was on and off, and if you woke up at any time in a strange place with pain and little memory and all around confusion but no one to help you figure out what was going on… well, it sucked. It just plain sucked. After his second confrontation with Fenrir he’d woken in a dark room at St. Mungo’s completely and utterly alone… it had been a bit of a thing for the seventeen year old to freak out over, to say the least. The hospital wing was more familiar to Jasper than St. Mungo’s had been to Seyton, but he still didn’t want to make Jasper wake up alone with Sey passed out in his room behind his office and unable to hear him if he called. So of course he’d stay by his brother. 'Sorry . . . nightmare . . " That hadn’t been obvious at all. Not. Sey found himself running his hand through his hair again, shifting in his position on the bed to look at Jasper. ”I’d imagine so… you’ve had a stressful day, after all.” Have had, or had had? What time was it even, right now? Jasper could have been asleep for a half hour, or hours. Time had just seemed to blur together for Seyton while he’d sat there and thought. The curtains over the windows around the hospital wing had been pulled down, leaving no access to the sky to see if there was sunlight or moonlight out there. Not that the time of day really mattered… Sey wouldn’t be able to sleep right now anyway. “Jasp…” he started hesitantly, remembering what he’d been thinking of that had made him accidentally wake his brother up. “Are you… still together with Nikita?” The first he’d heard of the girl had been the last time he’d seen Jasper, with his broken wrist. It seemed like that hadn’t been too long ago, but with teenagers relationships could begin and end within a week, so he didn’t want to automatically assume that she and Jasper were still a thing. “If you guys are… you need to warn her. You need to be careful. Fenrir’s clearly around the school now and…” he winced slightly, remembering his own situation, “dating a ‘mudblood’ is pretty much the worst offence possible for a son of his to commit, in his mind.”(Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

”I’d imagine so… you’ve had a stressful day, after all.” Not that Jasper could remeber any of the day that had been stressful. Most of the day was a blur to him, he remebed waking up, the day had started normal as he had emerged from the four poster bed a scruffy haired kid who had no idea what the day was going to hold. Breakfast had gone without a hitch, the walk to hogsmeade had been pleasant, and then the sheirking shak. He couldnt for the life of him remeber, though it was driving him crazy. But, he could remeber one thing about it. A smell, a person, he could remeber a person being there, someone that didnt smell like seyton, or like any of his siblings, though, he could have sworn it was familiar.
He bit his lip and looked down at the white of his bed and just nodded. Suddenly cold, he shivered. Though it felt like the cold was radiating out of him, he didnt know if it was because he was tired, or because the hospital wing was cold, hell he didnt even know if it was to to with the injuries his father had apparently given him and he kept shivering, his teeth starting to chatter lightly as he did. He shook his head slightly and shifted closer to Seyton, not wanting to frak his older brother out, but because he was probably the warmest thing in the room. He looked around at everything and thought how everything looked so scary, and cold as it stood still and watched all that went on around them. He leant against seyton's shoulder slightly, for he was tired still, and he didnt want to just drop at any second.
"g-got a h-heater?" He said, wondering why the temperature had just dropped. Whether it was only for him or the whole place, he didnt know, all he knew was he wanted the sun to come up. Though, come to think about it, the sun could have been rising, it was common knowledge that the temperature of a place dropped just before the sun came up, and since he didnt have a watch or anything on he couldnt check the time, but, he'd probably bet if Sey felt cold too, then it was just about sunrise. He coughed and shook his head. He heard his name and his eyes turned to Seyton and he looked at him. "Y-yeah?" He saked, just before Seyton started talking again. He mentioned Nikki, and Jaspers face broke out into a small grin, Even when he was hurt, in pain and cold, he could still smile when he was thinking about her.
His mind flew to Her face, he couldnt help it. Whenever he thought about her he forgot all he was thinking about and all his thoughts shifted to her and the grin on his face grew slighty. He had memorised everything about that girl, the exact color her eyes were, the way h er hair fell and he loved to watch it when it was slightly windy, something about it made her look more appealing to him. He shook his head slightly and came back to the present, Seyton had been talking again, and he had only just heard the end of what he said and he nodded. "Yeah . . i d-dont plan on b-breaking it o-off any t-time soon" He said, his words still stuttering because of his chest, the lungs and the ribs still healing themselves with the help of the spell.
He shook his head. "No!" He said sharply. A cough escaping and racking his body as he did. He didnt want to scare nikki, it wasnt fair for her to have to put up with all this too. "I d-dont w-want her t-to know . . . it's n-not fair . . a-and fenrir i-isnt g-going to find out!" He said quickly, his words mixing together slightly as he looked at his big brother. He didnt understand why Fenrir finding out would be so bad, but something about it sent chills down his spine and raised the hair on the back of his neck and he shook his head slightly. Though, he could understand why she needed to know too, if fenrir would to shit to his own son imagine what he would do to someone else. But . Jasper was scared of Nikki leaving him . . if she thought fen was coming after her too . .

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - "g-got a h-heater?" Sey frowned in concern, looking at his shivering little brother. It didn’t seem to be too cold in the room to him, but he had on a long sleeve jacket and pants that weren’t torn at all. Jasper had just woken up, though, and even if he couldn’t remember what had happened his body was probably in a fair bit of shock which would certainly help out with the cold feeling… Damn, Seyton was an idiot. Wasn’t that one of the most basic things of medicine? You had to actually make sure your patient was comfortable, and that meant warm, before you could let your mind move on to other things. The nurse sighed a bit at his own stupidity, but gave Jasper a small smile. “No, but I do have magic.” A quick muttered spell raised the temperature around them by a few degrees. It would wear off slowly over time, but hopefully would do well to warm up the patient and make him more comfortable. Sure, colds were quickly cured with a pepperup potion, but Jasper would have to have enough potions over the next couple of days without a cold to cure, too. ”Better?"Yeah . . i d-dont plan on b-breaking it o-off any t-time soon" Seyton recognized the smile on his little brother’s lips well. Every new kid in a relationship had it on his or her lips at one point or another. Sey definitely had. Complete adoration for your girlfriend, like the sun rose and set on her… Sey’d felt that a few times when he was younger, and never moreso than with Angel. Personally he hoped the look on Jasper’s face whenever he spoke or thought about Nikki lasted for a very, very long time, however unlikely that might be for one factor or another. He really wanted to see his little brother happy, but he also had to tell himself to be realistic about the kid’s chances of never experiencing any sort of heartbreak from his current girlfriend. All relationships, but the one you were meant to be with forever, ended, and many ended very badly. "No! I d-dont w-want her t-to know . . . it's n-not fair . . a-and fenrir i-isnt g-going to find out!" The elder Greyback sighed again. He seemed to be doing that a lot today… Jasper could be telling a truthful prediction, but Sey didn’t want to be so optimistic. If his assumptions were right, Fenrir was not going to give up on Jasper just because he’d gotten away from him once. He’d follow Jasper, waiting for the right opportunity… and it was more than likely that he’d see his son around his girlfriend. It wouldn’t take a whole lot of research to realize that the Ravenclaw girl was a muggleborn. Who knew, maybe their dad’s opinions of kids dating mudbloods had softened over the last eight years… Pfft. Yeah, right. That would be a dream come true eight years too late for the nurse. It wasn’t going to happen, which meant that Jasper had to tell Nikki for his and her own sakes. “How do you propose to keep it from her, Jasp? She’s going to notice that you’re out of classes for a few days, and I’m sure she’ll want an explanation.” He sighed, running his hand through his hair again (a long time nervous habit), and tried again, “It’s not to scare her, Jasp… she needs to know. If she doesn’t and something happens… her reaction would be even worse.” Well, that was a fair bit of assumption on the nurse’s part, but assumption based on his own opinions. He and Jasper had no choice in having to associate with Fenrir, but why would someone who didn’t have any ties to the monster want to stick around so that they could ‘meet’ him? Angel hadn’t, even though he’d been dating her for a year. Jasper had only been with Nikita for a few months… not that Sey wanted to doubt the kid, but would a two month long relationship really be worth it to the girl to get stuck with a mess like Fenrir? And if Jasper didn’t tell her about him, and something happened… ”Trust me. I… I know.” (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

The fear that Fenrir might do something to Nikki was overwhelming, never had he been so scared about something or something in his life it was terrifying in its self. He shook his head slightly as he tried to gather the mass of thoughts swimming around in his head, struggling with the fact that she might have to find out his father as on the loose, he didn't want him to find out about Nikki, not till he was old enough or strong enough to protect her Though if Fenrir attacked Nikki tomorrow you could be certain Jasper would throw himself in the line of fire to save Nikki getting hurt, after all, if Jasper was gone, there was no need for Fenrir to attack Nikki. Or thats what was running through Jaspers mind.
He swallows slightly, the lump forming in his throat as he thought about it and then he shook his head suddenly. He just wouldn't take any time off of school! he could go back to classes, it wasn't like he was dying anymore. Well he didn't feel like it at least. Though somewhere in his head he knew it was all Lie and his mind had just pushed everything to the back while the fear was still there. It was like fear covered everything up, his pain, the feeling of being tired. "I . . I j-just will go to c-class then! she d-doesn't have to know Sey . . " Jasper shook his head and looked at his older brother for help. Yeah, he knew he was probably being childish but he couldn't stop it, there was nothing int he world that would get him to stop trying to figure out a way for Nikki to not have to be dragged into it.
"She d-doesnt deserve to know!" He said. "It's n-not f-fair already! s-she's sticking w-with me t-through f-full moons . . a-and my t-temper . . but s-she doesn't need t-to know t-that the most f-feared and h-hated w-werewolf in the w-world will have her in her s-scents if h-he finds out . . " He shook his head and bit his lip. He didn't want to hurt Nikki, and his mind knew that she needed to know and he shook his head again. His body acted on it's own, he was suddenly sliding off the bed and his bare feet hit the cold stone floor which made him shiver again and he shook his head, pushing himself away from the bed and staggering slightly as he stood up, away from the bed and not holding onto anything.
"D-don't you d-dare u-use magic to m-make me lay down again" He said to his brother, turning slightly. He could feel it now, pushing it's way to the front of his head, the pain, the feeling of not being well, and the taste of potion still ran in his mouth. He felt the color drain from his face slowly as if he could feel it dripping out of his head. He put a hand to his head and looked at Seyton. "T-ther h-has to be s-some way . . a-anyway . . i d-don't w-want her t-to be scared" Jasper said, meaning every word of it. He coughed and shook his head. He had slept yes, but he was still coming down from the rush of adrenaline he had had earlier, and he could feel his head starting to really pound. His brain felt like it was slamming against the back of his skull trying to escape and it was turning his stomach again. He ran a hand over his gut slightly, willing the contents not to make themselves show again.
He looked at Seyton when he heard him speak again and he frowned slightly. "What d-do you m-mean . . . you k-know" He said quizzically, reaching out to grab the table next to him so he didn't fall. He could feel it again, the feeling of, he was about to throw up, or pass out. Again. And he was hating it . . .
