Romulus wasn't very sure what he was doing on the second floor but he knew fully well that there was always havoc to be caused. Wearing just a normal white shirt with a few stains of blood on it from earlier, having gotten into a fight again. Not bothering to clean it off, but he had left his mark, as a rather feral grin had approached his face. Just a few scratches to remind that muggle born who owned him and why he had been a mark for Romulus to go after as he licked his thin lips lightly. Short dark-brown hair seemed to bring out his cold life-less brown eyes that searched the corridor for any other targets that could catch his interest. Surely someone would be wary of his attentions, but if he had to do what it took to get Zmeyette's attention that was what he was going to keep doing.
Right now, he had bigger things to think about, but it seemed to always lead right back to Zmeyette Greyback. Furious that she had decided to neglect him and go out with two-timers all over. At least Romulus would be civil to her and at least be true to her as well. That was the least he could ask for from her, but he knew that someone would have taken her a while back. Enjoying the men that she had, but he was almost up to here with the way she acted around one man. Jacob Warrington, the one mortal enemy that had made him quite cautious, but now he had struck out finally. Jacob would be next on his list unless Zmeyette came to her senses, and then she wouldn't have to worry about a mysterious bite on Jacob's neck.
Romulus grinned, and he didn't have fangs, although his malicious smile could shatter anyone's resolve into fear. The blood-lust written all over his face as he then finally cleaned off the blood on his shirt as if it were a prize he didn't wish to wash away. Soon he was leaning against the wall with a hand stuffed in his pocket looking out an oval window as his blood lust stage had passed. Having calmed down and gotten his urges settled, he was just wishing for the day when Hogwarts would be ruled by supreme evil. Romulus honestly wanted to be the one to take it over himself before anyone else did.
That, and he planned on living up to the name of the werewolf of legend...the first Romulus. Rumor had it, that Romulus had grown up around that name and read every ounce of history he could on it. Even learning just a little about it in defense against the dark arts made him quite proud to have such a forceful name that would make people actually glance twice at him. Smirking, he let his thoughts run wild and rampant, as many possibilities of foreseeable events clashed within his mind. Not really caring or paying attention to the person approaching him.

Maggie had needed to take a walk in order to let herself have a little peace. Despite her horrible luck lately she was still trying to keep up that good girl façade with the majority of Hogwarts population. If whispers could be heard about her being promiscuous then wasn’t it just as likely to be heard that she had just spent the past two hours helping a bunch of second years with their History of Magic homework like a total sweetheart? Sure her thoughts had been dark and harsh the entire time wanting to torture each one every time they opened their tiny little mouths to utter some whiny question that Maharet had likened to fingernails on a chalkboard as far as irritants went.
It wasn’t something new for her helping out the less fortunate just something that Maggie felt the need to internally complain about each time it happened. Flashing the obligatory smile to some of the people that she passed in the corridors when she reached the second floor it was oddly deserted. Letting her smile drop, Maharet exhaled heavily from relief. Finally some peace and she was going to enjoy it while she still could. Her pace slowed to soak up these few precious moments of solitude, though a quiet confidence was still obvious in the way that her hips swayed as she sauntered down the hall, the pleated skirt of her school uniform swishing with each step to reveal just a little bit more thigh than she should have been. But most girls did so Maharet didn’t see why she should be some big exception.
Her irritation might have been fading away when she spotted Romulus from down the corridor, but it certainly wasn’t gone. A sly grin tugged at her lips and, despite knowing that he had superior hearing, smell, and sixth sense, Maggie kept as quiet as she could as she approached him. His interest didn’t seem to be on her but rather some far off thing in the distant. Probably Zmeyette, poor boy’s mind was always on that girl. Having tasted the subtlest tinge of what Rom felt for Zmeyette, though to even begin to compare it would have been stupid, Maharet might have still found it amusing, but now had more of an understanding, whereas before she hadn’t been able to comprehend in the least.
Romulus was the perfect person to take her frustrations out on and Maggie knew that within a matter of seconds the frustration would seep into playfulness anyway. Getting closer to him Maharet licked her lips poising herself to pounce on him. Maggie’s arms wrapped around Romulus’ neck from behind pulling him down toward her. She pressed up against him leaning close to his neck letting her hot breath tickle his skin. “You really shouldn’t leave yourself so unguarded.” Maggie scolded in a low voice next to his ear tightening her grip on his neck, knowing full well that he was too strong for her to actually hurt him. It probably just tickled or something equally as ineffective. But being rough with him was tradition, one that Maharet hadn’t had the pleasure of doing in longer than she would have liked.

Romulus had to decide if this was the right course of action, to actually confront Zmeyette or not was all that was indeed on his mind. Although his ears did perk up at the sound of rustling behind him, and he didn't pay no mind until he heard some rather lovely bounding from behind or just adding sound effects to Maharet's body the way it moved so sensually. Thinking about that bound she had with her when she walked, but he really didn't mind her sexual tendencies towards other students. After all, he knew fully well all too much how she acted and almost thought she quit it at times just cause it would get her too far over her head at some point.
Romulus wasn't the go-to guy for a lot of things, but anything that could create havoc to gain Zmeyette's attention would have suited him just fine. The unhealthy obsession he had with her almost made him look like he had taken a slightly larger toll than anyone who wasn't obsessed would have. Finally letting his hands grip the window pane slightly as he watched the snow fall and let his lips curl upwards into a snarl again. Almost ready to bash his fist against the window until Maharet had pressed her body up against him, and caused him to stiffen, quite literally too. Just the feel of that sensual body of hers and the way her curves went down to her snaking hips that swayed when she walked. Romulus had to hold back the blush that usually followed, but then he felt her tight grip him more.
Finally he turned around and this time he was on guard, but he was always on guard not really sure if it -was- Maharet. Although, he could certainly smell a distinct aura about her that was definitely Maharet, pure and innocent as she looked...that was not to be believed. Rom had the chance of knowing that Maggie was at least not susceptible to his own charms as well, but when they had even glanced at each other it had almost been an ironic thing that they seemed more like brother/sister than actual friends. Romulus would gladly give his life for her if it suited him, and he was sure that's the kind of guy she needed to have her back. Glad that she had actually opened up to him, he smirked as he pinned her against the wall after using his speed to gain the upper hand.
Lower body pressing up against her as he whispers with a menacing voice into her ear slowly, and lets his body just push away a little from her to give her breathing space. Of course, there was still the reaction of him feeling her pressing up against his back from earlier as he spoke to her "Don't sneak up, you should know better by now" when it was totally obvious that he had been expecting her to do something like that.

She could always count on Romulus to make her feel better regardless of whether or not it was his intention. Maybe the comfort that Maggie got from him came from knowing that there was indeed a person out there more messed up than she was. Her smile lit up her face, with that rare occurrence that didn’t involve it being forced or feigned in any way, genuine you could call it. What was the point in truly opening up to someone if you weren’t going to be honest with them and Maharet had always been one hundred percent with Romulus. He should have felt privileged, but that would have had to mean that he cared enough, which considering she wasn’t Zmeyette was subjective, specifically to his whims. Still Maggie appreciated having Rom’s friendship.
It didn’t surprise her that he had turned the tables so quickly. She had never pretended to be anything spectacular when it came to physical aggression and Romulus did have the upper hand for a number of reasons. Maharet didn’t mind him being slightly rough with her, she was used to it and it was to be expected from him. She was always aware of the risks but had learned that Romulus had excellent control. It could have been the reason why she did sneak up on him as often as she did. An eyebrow arched as he pressed his lower extremities against her, unable to miss the rise that she had gotten out of him. Where with any other guy Maggie would have capitalized on such a favourable reaction to her, with Romulus she just grinned shrugging it off. It was natural anyway, no big deal.
“Must have slipped my mind.” She offered lightly. It was more that Maharet knew that he expected that sort of thing from her. How many years had she greeted him in an aggressive way? Caught him off guard? Or tackled him to the ground? Romulus would have been used to it by now. Besides it did wonders for her temper, which was still bubbling up inside of her like a bottle of shaken up Champagne just waiting to explode. Conflicting agendas had crossed paths and now Maggie was out a boyfriend. She didn’t care so much about losing Hector as a boyfriend, but the fact that he had dumped her, and all her hard work of pretending to love him had been for nothing… well Maharet wasn’t the happiest of people at the moment.
Was it necessary to even tell Romulus or had the rumour that she’d been dumped made it to him yet? He had hated Hector anyway, well Rom hated most people so that wasn’t too shocking, so at least Maharet wouldn’t have to deal with some sympathetic nonsense from him. She never was interested in being consoled for any misfortunes that might befall her. No, revenge was more Maggie forte. Surely Hector would have suspected, since he was apparently- al the sudden- so keen on her being the wrong type of person for him, that he wasn’t going to get away with bringing her even the smallest tinge of humiliation. Not only that but she now had to go out of her way to find a new Yule Ball date. She wasn’t pleased. “You going to keep me like this?” Maharet questioned feeling the chill of the bricks starting to seep through the fabric of her shirt.

Romulus snarled at her slightly for her arrogance in thinking she could get away with that whenever she could, but normally on a good day when he wasn't thinking too hard he was always on his toes. No one would have caught him off guard, not even Maharet, despite their usual talks, but she really had nothing to fear from him if anyone saw him with her. After all, it was a common sighting these days, and Romulus rarely 'attacked' anyone beyond just shoving them into lockers. Unless of course they made it personal by actually talking back to him if he even bothered to talk to them at all. Normally his arrogance was what cost him the pride that was deep within him, but he was fiercely loyal to Maharet at times when someone bad mouthed her despite the rumors about her being true at times.
Romulus knew a lot of the school's history and of the werewolves history as well, which he was going to rewrite himself with his own legacy. Yes, he wanted to be just as powerful, or even more powerful than Fenrir himself as he desired more of it. Wondering if his name would go down in history like his ancestor way before him, and most werewolves had descended into anarchy to fight amongst themselves for the top position. When Fenrir was too old or frail to deal with him, Romulus would sink his teeth into his neck and take his place not caring if he's Zmeyette's father. Although, he was certain to make many enemies, including Maharet's doing that.
No one, not even Maharet, knew about his plans since he kept them to himself and most thought of him as a simpleton that just loved to pick on muggle-borns. It was really just a ruse to get Zmeyette's attention and once he had her his attitude would change very slightly. There wouldn't be random attacks, instead, he'd use cunning and lure them into the forbidden forest...then start his chaos there. Whoever was attacking the students was going about it all wrong, and Romulus had the desire to kill suddenly as his hands gripped Maggie's in a death grip. The usual tension that occurred as soon as he finally let go of her as he looked out the window again.
The snarl not leaving as he spoke, "There must be something you want if you're coming to visit me when you know who I'm trying to convince to get back with me....even Fenrir agreed to the bloody promise!" and with that he suddenly slammed his fist against the wall making a rather large crack in it as the sound split through the air thanks to a chunk of brick falling to the ground. Easily repairable by magic and luckily it wasn't a student's skull despite how much Romulus wanted to do that so badly to a young muggle born to just have his way. Damn rules.

His growling always was frightening, but Maharet liked it. She was also used to such things. Romulus was far from a cuddly kid that she could manipulate and do whatever she felt like with, yet that Maggie still found herself too comfortable around Rom to restrain herself around him. It came with knowing him for as long as she did, not to mention the fact that they were such good friends. That still vexed her that she could be close to anyone. Persephone had always been close with her, a few choice others as well, but for the most part she seemed too indifferent to have real relationships with people. That should have bothered her, not having emotions like normal people did, but it helped given the things that she needed to do. Maharet smiled up at him quite please with her reception.
It didn’t falter even when Romulus gripped her so tightly. That sort of aggression was appreciated in him even if she was the victim of it. She flinched slightly his irritation could be felt in his touch. Zmeyette had to be on his mind. It was cruel the way that she treated Rom. Cruelty was respected though Romulus of all people should have known that. Aside from that, if Zmeyette wasn’t like that then wouldn’t the attraction be lost? Maggie hadn’t specially come to see him, but Rom wasn’t wrong. There was something that she wanted and he was just the person to give it to her. She wasn’t worried about the wall, or his hand to be perfectly honest, that didn’t stop her from frowning at Romulus and taking his hand to assess the damage to it. He’d heal quickly enough but it looked like it hurt.
“Simmer down sweetie. Fenrir will keep his promise.” Well if it suited him it would. He was talking about Zmeyette surely and from what she knew they would end up together after both had served their purposes. “Patience, you know there are more important things to attend to before love is dealt with.” That was probably the last priority. Maggie should have been soothing him better but that required her to be false with him, which wasn’t something that she did in Rom’s presence.
Fury was good in her book though, especially when she had a specific target that she preferred him to unleash it on. “There is something that I want.” No sense in lying to him. Maggie ran her fingers tenderly over his injured knuckles. “It would help out some of that frustration of yours as well, if you’re up for the challenge.” Her gaze flickered up to meet Romulus’ eyes. Who wouldn’t love ripping some self-righteous fool to shreds? Well at least Romulus would like it. Maharet for one couldn’t wait to see what Hector would look like after Rom got finished with him. More scars to add to the collection that Faolan had already given the boy. Perhaps a nice hideous gash across Hector’s face, take away some of that appeal of his. The thoughts of it coming to pass pleased her.

Romulus was in fact using people for his own goals in return, but whether they knew if he was going to defect on his own or not was rather unpredictable in the long run. Even with the fact he had super strength, but that was minor since he didn't have the full traits of a true werewolf, but he was still more sensitive about it than most. Wanting to hone his skills, but it was hard to do when these rules barred him from controlling his many emotions. Romulus was patient and manipulative, one thing that made his outbreaks more mysterious due to the fact he could wait for his prey at any given moment. A terror on the school, but when he did strike, it was well within reason or if Maharet had tipped him off about someone doing some harm to her.
Arching his back lightly he felt his whole body itself starting to eagerly relax even after having gotten a little worked up cause of Maggie. Although, who wouldn't with such a body pressed against them, but he never took advantage of her which was probably why she trusted him more than most. Romulus was sure there were many other reasons that were beneficial to her, but he knew that Fenrir would never get rid of him. Especially after the promise to make him a full werewolf, which he looked rather forward too. Even having talked with Fenrir a bit too. No one knew the real Romulus, not even Maggie though, and it was hard to with hold that information from anyone.
Only Zmeyette had seen his nicer side, but there were a few rare moments that he could be. "Well, I'm going to have to decline this offer, I don't want to gain any more attention than I have to right now. After all, I'm the worst person to go to for hurting anyone at the moment, but I could teach him a small lesson for attempting to disappear from your clutches. You'll have to wait though, I want to make sure the moment is ...opportune, and in front of his newer loved one," he said to her. A grin escaped his lips as he licked them softly in the delicious taste of the fear that was to come when he could render that poor pathetic excuse of a werewolf paralyzed.

At first Maharet was too stunned to speak. Romulus rarely turned her down and when he did it never lasted for long. It wasn’t like she ever asked or insinuated that he do anything that would be too out of his way, or that he wouldn’t get some kind of pleasure doing. Besides that she was the type to return favours- not that he asked for them often. She dropped his hand absently glancing out the window herself trying to give him the benefit of the doubt instead of immediately getting irritated or him declining. The irritable mood that Maggie was in made that difficult but Romulus had earned a bit of patience from her. It wasn’t like she was really all that mad at him anyway. No, that misfortune went to Hector for dumping her. Even the thought of it made her blood boil.
With that came the rest of what Romulus had to say though and Maharet found herself mellowing out again, a devilish smirk forming on her lips. Ultimate humiliation was more attractive than a private revenge and having whatever new bint that he had dredged up from the slums witness him brutalized by Romulus… that was definitely better. She would like to see how good the new girl would be able to make Hector feel after Romulus tore him up. Even if Maggie had been faking the sentimental crap the rest he shouldn’t of had any complaints about.
“You’re positively wicked.” Approval laced her tone graciously throwing her arms around Rom to give him a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek to show her appreciation. “Perhaps the Yule Ball would be an opportune time.” She mused. Hector did have a certain pansy-boy charm about him that some girls fancied so it was possible that he would have found someone else by then. It would of course be necessary to make sure it didn’t interfere with the time the Persephone went on though, that wouldn’t be taken kindly at all.
“What were you doing anyway?” As a Prefect she shouldn’t have been asking, what she didn’t know couldn’t penalize him, but Maggie was curious and she wasn’t going to punish Romulus, especially since she hadn’t witnessed any misdeeds herself. “I’m not going to find some poor brat cowering in a corner later, am I?” The ruthlessness was all an effort to gain Zmeyette attention, preferably affections.

Romulus couldn't help himself and soon had Maharet pushed up against the wall brushing his lower extremity against her in retaliation for earlier. Then stopped completely as she spoke in return to him for having listened to what he had deemed a rather worthy option. Mainly keeping his attention was important since he did have a tendency to just let things fall wherever they may. Romulus knew that there was a plan behind every action he did and right now there really was none coming to mind. Knowing fully well there had to be some way to get back at him, but the Yule ball was indeed a perfect place to begin. After all, there were many people getting dates for that and he planned on confronting Zmeyette about that.
One of the reasons he was upset since he had a hard time getting a hold of her since she spent most of her time avoiding him. A nasty snarl escaped his lips again, but he kept himself under control as he thought about someone even hurting Maharet in just a rather vague way. Sighing softly he nodded his head towards her, and then just hugged her back since she seemed rather happy with his answer. It wasn't for her that he was doing this, but for the fact he could teach a fellow werewolf how to act like a man finally. Even with this there were bound to be many different things cropping up throughout his life at Hogwarts.
Romulus had gotten by just rolling with the flow, but now he needed to make an example of ALL muggle borns, and blood traitors. Half-bloods didn't bother him as long as they chose the right side of course and stayed out of his way in the halls. Kissing Maharet's cheek, the closest he had ever come into contact with her soft skin, but he wasn't blushing as his sinister smile crept up on his face causing some dimples to appear. "Oh don't worry, I know exactly how to make you happy, but alas, I'm not the one that can do it. Why don't you try going after that Slytherin you were after a while back? Certainly he's not as prude as they say he is....plus it will make you forget about.....HIM" he said to her.
Deciding to give her advice for now, but he only knew cause he had seen Maharet glancing Jacob's way every so often. Plus they were best friends and there were definitely things he knew that no one else would have ever dreamed Maharet ever thought of. "Crying Ravenclaw at six o'clock" he said putting on his fake adoring smile. Sure enough, a Ravenclaw fifth year with puffy eyes from crying her eyes out over just being dumped as well, and Romulus was so tempted to ask who it was to teach them a lesson..although Maharet could handle this one.

She didn’t really mind being forced up against the wall by Rom. It had come to be accepted over the years, his aggression always flirting with his control, though the latter won out more often than not. His actions did put her in a certain mood, but it would pass. Romulus was her best friend and there were some lines that even Maharet wouldn’t cross, well no that wasn’t entire true, it was just that she hadn’t crossed them yet. Her gestures returned, after a delay of course, Maggie couldn’t help but feel more relaxed than she had five minutes ago. He had done his job as her friend, giving her that warm fuzzy feeling that seemed to put a smile on one’s face.
He was right, what she really needed was a good lay to take her mind off the irritant that was Hector Wulfe. Patience wasn’t a strong point, but that didn’t mean that Maharet was incapable of it. The Yule Ball wasn’t too far off, and if absence made the heart grow fonder, what could be said of revenge being served cold? For Maharet it was the same principle, something that had been discovered years ago, though even she could be impulsive at times. When Fenrir did finally get her consent to be turned Maggie was interested to see what would happen to her control then. She was dangerous as it was, but with all those lovely advantages on her side too… it sometimes made her want to abandon her agendas and go for it right away.
But going back to Jacob as Romulus suggested, Maharet wasn’t entirely sure. He was very pleasing there wasn’t any doubt about that. The only concern that she had was turning out like Romulus. He was almost perfect, seemingly, except for his obsession with Zmeyette and Maggie did not want to end up with those strong of feelings for Jacob. She had explored a scared part of him that so few had and had felt where his affection laid they weren’t with her. Sex could just be sex though as long as Maharet stuck to her usual mentality about such things. “I just might do that.” She almost reached up to pinch Romulus’ cheeks, his dimples just too adorable, but didn’t knowing better.
Maharet groaned internally hearing the whimpering whine of some silly little girl behind them. Her tears enraged Maharet. Whatever her problems were they weren’t as bad as to cry over it and Maggie found her mere presence ridiculous. Glancing in the weeping girl’s direction she stopping looking at the pair through blood shot eyes, streams of tears along her cheeks, staring with a wide-eyed expectancy. She didn’t want to deal with consoling some sap, no playing nice she had done that enough for one day. Still pinned against the wall, compliments of Rom, Maharet turned her attention back to him cupping his face in her hands and planting a deep kiss on him. Give her something to cry about… hearing the sniffling continue and feet pounding against the corridor as she scurried away a fresh batch of tears brimming her eyes Maggie didn’t pull away until the Ravenclaw was out of sight. “Please tell me you don’t ever get all weeping over Zmeyette like that?” Maharet gestured toward the direction the girl had disappeared as though nothing had happened.

Romulus felt something stirring within him as soon as he felt that electric heat filling his entire being from that kiss and it had indeed done wonders to his skin. Even if he didn't cross the line, but Maharet had certainly done something to him on the spot right there as his hairs raised up on his hackles. Obviously there was more chemistry there than she intended, but then as his focus went back to Zmeyette, rage took over. Looking towards the spiraling girl he had his wand out and was instantly on the verge of zapping her against the wall or doing worse to her. Snarling slightly, he soon just pulled himself away from Maharet a little, but he would regret kissing her again.
So he restrained himself from doing something uncontrollable and he knew fully well that Maggie would have made her way over to that Slytherin anyways. No one could deny her advances whether they were sexual or not, and they would have to be dumb not to tap that. Romulus was incredibly smart and patient, but he wouldn't let his anger take hold of him right now. Even if Zmeyette was the source of provoked anger, but he never let it go unchecked. After all, cooler heads would always prevail another favorable asset to him that many liked about him. Being predictable wasn't within his reasoning and that was made him even more dangerous.
Watching that little girl run away in tears made him laugh as Maggie kissing him had erupted many new emotions he didn't think were possible with anyone. Considering she was a goddess in her own rights, but Romulus knew better than to get attached to her. Ruining their friendship wasn't something he wanted to do, but he didn't mind being used by her in the least or the other way around for him. Maggie was surely to grant him a favor in the future for doing this for him, "I do have a request already actually, if you could pass a message along to Zmeyette somehow...I'm coming for her and I'm not going to play any more bull shit games...I'm literally going to kill anyone that she cares for if she doesn't come with me" he smiled snarling slightly.
Romulus knew the threat coming from Maharet was ten times as worse than what it could have implicated from Romulus's own lips. Of course, he was expecting denial in that fact, but love was the last thing on his mind indeed. Already plotting ways he could thwart Hector's plan for the Yule ball. Trailing his fingers along Maharet's cheeks playfully just to tease as he was good at that, "Don't worry, I'll make him suffer as he's made you suffer," and worse Romulus thought...that callous grin showing much more than he intended to do at the ball.

Romulus seemed almost agitated with her for kissing him. It was harmless enough, sure she could have been a little less enthusiastic about it but to get the full effect of those girl’s water works it had to be believable. What Maharet wasn’t sure about was whether he was snarling at her because it might somehow get back to Zmeyette or if it was because he had been stirred by her. Either way it led back to the same thing. Somehow it always came around to Zmeyette. She had come to terms with that years ago though. Rom was off limits for reasons other than that. Even though his wand was pointed at her Maggie had no fear. She should have but he wasn’t going to do anything, Rom was far too level headed for that, which was what made him so dangerous.
She simply waited for him to collect himself again, as she knew that he would. Maharet was willing to do whatever he asked, preferring not to be indebted so immediate favours were ideal. When the name Zmeyette came out of his mouth she wasn’t at all surprised. Getting in touch with Zmeyette was easier for Maharet than it was for Romulus, which must have been annoying for him. A letter, though an option, wouldn’t have the same effect as giving her the message in person. Zmeyette seemed to underestimate Rom. That was a mistake. Maharet might have expected things from him, certain reactions and leniencies but she would never have been so foolish as to write him off as some fluffy Hufflepuff not worth giving him the time of day. She supposed that was why they were best friends and Zmeyette didn’t so much as smile in his direction.
There was something unsettling about what he had said though. “You do realize that includes me, don’t you?” It probably hadn’t slipped his mind. Things that concerned Zmeyette never did. They were always carefully planned out and considered, and if he made such a claim he was going to follow through with it. She had never been under the delusion that she would ever be put before Zmeyette but with the way he felt about others hurting her it seemed ironic that he was prepared to do it himself. Maharet, given how she was raised, wasn’t sure if she should be upset about it or respect him all the more for not having too strong of emotional ties when it came to securing what it was that he wanted.
His touch was pleasurable even if it was just meant to tease Maggie saw no reason why she couldn’t enjoy it. “I don’t doubt you, Romulus. You never disappoint.” If he said he was going to do something Rom wasn’t going to back out or do it half-ass. That was one of the many things that she liked so much about him. “I’ll give Zmeyette the message as soon as possible. I really don’t like seeing you so cranky over her. It’s beneath you.” Not that liking Zmeyette wasn’t worth it, just that he should have what he wanted.

Romulus just stared at Maggie in silence realizing how much it would hurt her to tell her best friend that, but he wasn't using her in any way at all. Considering this was for Zmeyette's cause, it was obvious that she was always on his mind despite what Maharet was telling him. BENEATH HIM? Well that almost enraged him but he would take it out on some unworthy first year later and make them do his homework since he was always too lazy to do it himself. Ruling the school would be easy enough without so many obstacles in the way, one being the fact there was that underground force pulling all the strings with those attacks. Romulus had to make his own name before they took all the glory and needed to come up with a plan for that.
Curiosity normally would kill him but he wasn't going to break it to her that it would be a little harder than she thought. Fenrir was surely going to talk with his little girl about him, but that wasn't enough. Romulus needed a promise from everyone that he would get what he was after, and was glad that after this fiasco was over there was surely some way to get over it. "Oh, I guess I should say, people that Zmey's romantically interested with, I won't harm anyone close to you of course...unless they just happen to be with Zmey," he said to her, referring to one person that he wouldn't care if he stood in his way or not.
Jacob Warrington, the one fellow who had a temper that could decimate entire cities, but Romulus was far worse in comparison. Sure, the both of them had cunning, but whilst Jacob had his impatient impulses, Romulus's were subtle and incredibly hard to spot. Finally licking his lips softly he nodded to Maharet again and kissed the back of her hand lightly as if he were chivalrous. It was merely a joke he was playing on her right now as he bit her hand playfully after, and then let it go, though not enough to draw blood or infect it either. "You have my gratitude, although I suppose we're even again for now," he scratched the back of his head lightly, not even letting a blush come to his face as he thought of the kiss from earlier.

That was much better and Maharet felt relieved that she didn’t have to decide whether she should be upset or respect him. It was more of a hassle than she cared to deal with. There was of course the psychological effects of knowing that someone would be coming after you eventually. That sort of threat, when it came from someone like Romulus, as silly as it might have sounded, made Maggie feel like a Turkey on Thanksgiving, just waiting to be slaughtered. Revealing that to even him was taboo though. Feelings were meant to be buried deep down, lock up tight, and never spoken of. It was the Rosier way.
“So I should avoid making out with Zmeyette until after you get her.” Maharet nodded in mock understanding, taking his meaning intentionally wrong. The last time that happened must have been pure torture. Romulus wanting to join in so badly but having to do nothing but watch as she had her fun with Zmeyette doing things to her that he had only dreamed about. Maggie could be a very cruel person but it was acceptable. It wasn’t like they had been friends at the time and at the time she had wanted him to know that just because she wasn’t some big, strong, powerful werewolf, she could still hurt him. It was an understanding that both were well aware of about the other know, not that they used this knowledge against one another.
His consideration for Jacob was appreciated but there was no way that Maharet could influence what he did with other people. If Jacob wanted to get with Zmeyette again that was his grave that he was digging and, though it would hurt her, she wasn’t going to intervene. Jacob had wanted to be nothing more than friends and risking her own life to save his for being with another girl, it wasn’t something that Maggie foresaw herself doing. This time her nod of understanding was completely genuine.
The kiss on the hand almost made her laugh if not for the tender bite that followed. That was more like. As much as she played with werewolves it was a surprise that she wasn’t scarred up by them. She supposed that even in their most primal state they didn’t want to blemish a body as magnificent as hers, something that Maharet was very grateful for. “For now.” She agreed smiling up at him sweetly. “If you’re a good boy I just might reward you for your troubles with Hector.” Maggie winked at him playfully, sexual overtones aside she was only teasing. She knew better than to think anything more than what was. He was too wrapped up.

"Don't make promises that you know you'll keep," he taunted her as spoke to him about that and his playful jaunt was surely welcome as he did indeed have a way to make her forget her troubles. Romulus was normally a playful werewolf, but over the years he had started to grow less cuddly with each passing moment only to realize he was a natural born killer ready to go after anyone he could. Curiously enough, Romulus was just starting to pace as he looked at Maharet with a curious glint in his eyes and seemed to keep his cool right there. Hufflepuffs, were they really known for their loyalty, well Romulus was pretty loyal to Maharet, despite his evil tendencies. Of course that really had nothing to do with it, and it was amusing he had been sorted here.
It was as if the gods were saying he should have been placed elsewhere, but nope this is where he landed. Surely if he had any sense of authority, he would actually do it himself to Zmeyette, but he did get rather frightening if he didn't get his way. Only Maharet had complied to his rules due to knowing the consequences of crossing him, and in fact he always reminded himself of when they were kids. Amusing as it seemed now, "Well, if you do make out with her, you'll have to find someone easing his way between you. That person being me, and you know I will get my way int he end for you'll regret crossing me, although you know better than anyone what I'm -really- capable of. I'm not a pup anymore, but I know that you're reveling in the fact Hector will find out just how much a wimp he is compared to ME..." and it was obvious Romulus wanted to finish him off now.
Adrenaline running through his veins as usual and looked at his hand that had now at least healed a little more as he noticed the punch at the wall. "Oh, and that hole int he wall, is how I mourn over the fact I can't have Zmeyette...yet but I plan on changing that soon," he admitted towards her.

Maharet laughed shaking her head fondly. She would keep a promise like that. It wasn’t as though she could help herself, especially when he did appeal to her. What wasn’t to like about Romulus? He was attractive, dark, loyal, probably great in bed- and it did grieve her that she didn’t know from first hand experience but to even harp on such a thing was stupid. She was set on not taking things any further with him than teasing. Teasing was acceptable even with people she hated so it most certainly applied to someone that she cared for too. ”I wouldn’t dream of it.” But a second later she was smirking pleasantly. “No, I definitely would dream of it. Maybe tonight if I’m not otherwise occupied.” She could have seduced any number of boys to have a throw with later, but there was no telling with her.
Maharet really couldn’t help herself when Romulus made it so very easy for her. Besides, with him there, having successfully cheered her up, if not in an unconventional way, she was feeling rather spunky. “As long as I regret long and hard.” There wasn’t any fear, not even a tinge, despite knowing that he was capable and willing to do such a thing to her. It was all part of the reason that she loved him, in a friend way of course. Maggie was willing to do things for him that she otherwise would have scoffed at just as he did for her. “I can’t wait for you to put him in his place. Honestly, I was helping him he’s just too bloody stupid to realize it. Too faint hearted to be a werewolf.” Maharet sighed a bit irritably. “And after everything I did for him. It’s a shame. Makes me feel used.” She was giving Romulus all the more reason to make the blood shed plentiful and Maggie hoped that it got all over whatever new girl Hector was with pretty little dress.
Glancing at the hole that Rom had made Maharet looked down at her own hand watching it curl delicately into a fist. Intentionally hurting herself wasn’t her style. Maggie could barely conceive punching a wall like he had yet she allowed some people, namely Jacob, to choke her in his sexual rage. It didn’t make sense to her and she didn’t bother to try and sort it out either. Funny how it hadn’t crossed her mind to ask if Romulus was okay, if inquire if he need her to heal it or get some ice, something, anything to help sooth the pain-but he could handle himself and always had been able to. “I hope you do. She’ll be lucky to have you.” And this time there wasn’t any playfulness in her tone. Maharet meant it whole-heartedly, or at least seriously.

If Romulus hadn't been so pre-occupied with Zmeyette instead of Maharet, he probably would have gone after her instead, but he really never had a one-track mind. Controlling her wasn't something he would normally do, but it was definitely within his power to keep tabs on her when she least expected it. An idea popped into his head what would have happened if he did, but it usually involved the fact he would actually become a full werewolf before he got to Fenrir. Shaking his head, thinking that none of that would ever happen, and looked at the tears that small girl left on her way by. Shrugging his shoulders, that one's life was already in misery and Maharet had made sure she remembered that she wasn't in the mood to talk.
"Now that's VERY rare, you feeling like you're being used, why would you get that feeling? You know fully well you're more powerful than him, and even so, don't let it get to you. Think of it this way, he is no longer worthy of your...delicious attention, and will be jealous at whomever you are you with next. Don't pity them, take pride in knowing you have disowned a lost pup that can't see himself for what he could have had," he said to her, not really consoling her anymore since he noticed she was a little perkier in more ways than one. Although Romulus had indeed punched a wall, it didn't really phase him as he licked up some of the blood from the hand.
Grinning at the taste and reveling in it as he let it go back to where it came from, now -this- was the incredibly dangerous part of Romulus as he then looked over at her with glazed over eyes from drinking some of his own blood. Making sure to keep it where it belonged as he soon looked at the wall quickly and then back to his hand to make sure no blood had gotten there. As the rise out of him seemed oddly familiar, and Maharet would place it as him getting high off of the fact his own blood had been drawn. A tell-tale sign he couldn't decipher allies between friends, but he held it back for fear of hurting a dear friend as he then let his veins stop popping out all along his body.
That was one thing he needed to learn was self-control when it came to shedding blood, but other than that, there really wasn't any other reason for him to be there any longer after discussing what he needed to. Something compelled him to stay though as his wound was actually almost fully healed now, and he didn't bother fixing the wall since someone else would see it. Hogwarts needed a reminder of what he was capable of and that was like leaving a message for them right there. Romulus hadn't done this in a while, but normally if a punched wall was anywhere nearby it was cause of him missing his target or just taking out his anger on something. Causing damage to the property wasn't really a big deal since magic could just repair it.

He was right of course. There was absolutely no reason for her to feel used by someone as incompetent as Hector. The boy didn’t have what it took to manipulate a person, not the knowledge or the skill. It couldn’t have just been a smoke screen, her mentioning it to Romulus. That wasn’t how they operated around one another. When Maggie told him something it usually did have genuine value to it. “Because I gave him so much good sex and what do I get for it- nothing.” It was a bit twisted, taking the idea of a relationship being a fifty-fifty partnership and Maharet being under the selfish impression that it meant she made him happy and he did what she wanted. For her that wasn’t much to ask. His family would fall in line after him so it wasn’t like she asked him to abandon them or anything too drastic, just be the best him possible. And for her troubles she got dumped.
But Rom was right she was more powerful, all around better than Hector. His inferiority was to blame. Regardless of whether Hector’s stupidity was intentional or natural he was still going to pay. Jealousy, pain, revenge, these sorts of things always had appealed to Maharet. Looking Romulus over she nodded her agreement. It made it easier, with his reminder of her superiority, to wait for Hector’s punishment. The chances that afterward he would come around didn’t have the most encouraging plausibility but Maggie wasn’t going to rule it out completely just yet. Now she needed to find a new recruit for Fenrir. Hector had been so desirable because of his large family. “Of course.”
Tasting his own blood in front of her did set Maharet on edge. The way that his gaze became so distant did worry her slightly, but it was better to stay put and not make any sudden movements than to get away from him. There was no sense in attracting unnecessary attention to herself or enticing Rom, at least not if she didn’t want bitten. She watched carefully as he recollected himself letting the bloodlust fade away and dull before Maggie dared to bring his focus back to her. She was in a very precarious position still, pinned between the wall and Romulus. It wasn’t as though, even if she didn’t know any better that she could slip away unnoticed.
“You’re getting better at controlling yourself.” Her approval had a tinge of gratitude laced in it. She wasn’t ready to be bitten and it had always been Fenrir who was supposed to change her. He had laid claim on that privilege when she was very young. Maharet could only assume that it had been because he saw the potential that she held. Over the years Maggie had been playing the field and bettering her skills. She was rather seduced by the idea of becoming a werewolf herself. All that power that she craved in her men instilled in her. Maharet knew that one of the first things she was likely to do was attack Romulus, playfully of course, but with much more fury behind it. the thought of it caused her to smile blissfully.

Maharet was a catch that any guy should have gone after and have at least one sampling of, however, Romulus wasn't that guy. Oh no, right now he was more or less comparing Hector to many of the other werewolves he knew. If Romulus's siblings were around he was sure to raise them right and hoped his parents would do the right thing to help them follow Fenrir's teachings. In the long run, it was always Romulus that had been the favorite since he obeyed so well when it came to being the top student in his classes. Sadly, he was just using that as a plain excuse to do dastardly deeds that rarely revolved around him. Finally arching his back softly and letting his hand fall to his side after it was slightly healed, and then focused on her.
"I love seeing the fear in your eyes when my blood lust gets the better of me. It always sets my heart racing, and I could almost taste the fear lingering on your body for a second there. I know you may not like to hear it, but you are...HUMAN for now. I could change it early, but only a perfect werewolf should bite into such succulent flesh. We wouldn't want to ruin your porcelain doll looks no matter how many times your body has been...flattered with many masculine compliments within it," he said to her teasingly Romulus knew it was easy to control those primal urges and when a full moon hit there was no holding back his wilder side.
Wolfs bane was for those that had given up all hope on becoming a werewolf, and thought they were too good to control it. Romulus had learned on his own how to stop the transformations unneeded, and doing so had finally found peace with his inner wolf. Letting it run wild in the Forbidden Forest had given him the freedom he needed from Hogwarts to let his mind relax and think about his next course of action. Now he had a goal in mind and was wondering how he could set up Hector to actually get repaid for the debt he owed Maggie. Shrugging his shoulders, he merely spoke to her again, "So aside from the boring drivel of the day, what else is new with your life compared to my explicitly boring one?" he asked.
Making it sound...intelligent for a change, due to his need to actually talk with someone instead of shoving some random Hufflepuff into a locker lately...which still amused him to this day.

It would have been stupid not to fear him just a little bit when that hunger was so fresh. Maharet flirted with danger, that she wouldn’t deny, but she wasn’t flippant about it. She really didn’t like the fact that she was only human, but it suited her for now. There was a time and a place for everything and she hadn’t yet gotten the things that she wanted to accomplish done. If she could help it, which was a questionable thing with the way that she acted around so many dangerous beings, Maggie wasn’t planning on getting changed until she was twenty-one, out of Hogwarts at the very least. She couldn’t help but smile at the gentlemanly terms that Romulus had used.
“Yes, the majority have been most complimentary. If its fear you crave I’m sorry I can’t offer you more.” Fear and caution went hand in hand she felt and when it came to werewolves, having as much experience as she did with them, she wasn’t as frightened as most people would be. Maharet knew the limits better than most did, she just liked to challenge them and push a little further than she should. Without her usual method of taming the beast an option when it came to Romulus, she didn’t push too hard. Everyone had to be good at something and it seemed that Maggie specialized in two main things; taming wild boys and coming up with horrid, yet subtle atrocities, both of which she put to good use.
Her life wasn’t exactly humdrum, but she wasn’t entirely sure about how much she could reveal to him. Normally if anyone was going to be aware of her plans he was the first one, considering Persephone wasn’t around, well she was now, but after the Yule Ball she would be without her again. “Well Persephone and I have been driving the Ravenclaw boys wild. You know how we can be together.” She gave him a playful wink. The two girls seemed to feed off one another one upping the other in terms of sexual advancements to get a nice rise out of the boys. “I’ve also been working on Faolan, I figured he would be a lovely Christmas gift for Fenrir, which is actually the reason that Hector broke up with me. His nosy sister had to go and cry to him- such a shame when she could have just joined in.” Faol had even offered.
These things weren’t what Maggie was curious about telling him though. It was the stunt she had pulled for Olivia that was iffy. She didn’t think, not even for a second that Romulus would betray her confidences. It was just that the Shailene incident was a mystery, just the way that she had wanted it. Poor girl had freaked out and started cutting on herself. Who would have suspected that someone else had brought it on? The wicked smirk made it impossible to not tell him something about it though. “I saw the most curious thing at The Three Brooksticks not too long ago as well.” Surely he would understand what that meant.
