• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • It was a nice day out, peaceful and not too cool yet. Alaya was enjoying her time outside. She loved the outdoors and it had nothing to do with being a werewolf. No, she just loved the air and the peaceful feeling that came with being around nature. She loved listening to the wind in the trees and the rustle of leaves from small animals forging for food. Alaya walked along the edge of the forest towards her favorite tree where she liked to isolate herself and think, maybe read a book. It was the perfect spot and technically it was not within the forbidden forest so there was no trouble cause if she was there.
Today Alaya carried a smaller book out with her. It was a guide to identifying wild herbs used for potions and such. She was finding it interesting enough. She did like to read when given the chance, especially when what she was learning could help her in real life. Her bare feet made almost no sound on the soft earth as her school robe swayed gently by her ankles. The nice weather allowed for her to manage without shoes. She wore most of the school uniform. She had her white shirt opened to reveal a simple back tank top. She did not wear her tie, shoes, or socks making her outfit a more so casual form of the uniform.
Alaya was really looking forward to sitting down and reading. She had not been out all that often yet, but it was still the beginning of the year so there was plenty of time to spend in the tranquil grasp of the forest edge. However, her desire to have a peaceful afternoon away from anyone else was split in two when she noticed someone sitting under the very tree that she was headed for. She recognized the boy to be a Ravenclaw. She wasn’t too happy about it but maybe he would leave. She could all but wonder as she walked closer to her favorite spot.

Seizel wasn't even busy with what he was doing, wearing the casual uniform as well, with a black shirt underneath instead of the white, plus he had on the Ravenclaw colors. Even if he was just outside enjoying the cool air he had been here for a while mulling over the many different things going on at Hogwarts, first there was the Great Hall ceremony, then there was the naming of the champions, the last two names still eluded him at this time. Mulling it over as he had the grass he had been sitting on patted down as he had been here for about an hour already. Brushing his curly brown hair aside even though it was impossible to move it, his blue eyes looked around his surroundings finally snapping out of his day-dream state. If anyone wanted to get his attention they would actually have to tap him on the shoulder usually.
Once more, he shrugged his shoulders lightly leaning back against the tree tapping his dress shoes against the grass, and then used his wand to change them to running shoes so that it was easier to stand being outside. The Hogwarts dress code was sometimes a little too stuffy for him to handle, as he didn't want to seem like a pushy overhaul sort of guy. Looking out at the Forbidden Forest was one of his favorite things to do, and even the trees around him were so serene as he heard the whistle of birds in the distance as they flew over head. Sure, it wasn't the most magnificent scene ever, however, he was sure there was things that trumped that.
Seizel already knew someone was approaching the tree he was sitting at as his ears perked up lightly, but he didn't turn his head as he knew only a few students actually came out towards this spot. Even without raising his voice, he merely glanced up towards the clear sky, looking at the few clouds rolling over head. So serene, and yet his peace was broken by the silent foot-falls of the other human approaching him. Surely, she would leave him be in peace as he wanted to stay here, especially since he liked to think in his own quiet time. Smoothing out the black jeans he was wearing, not really dressing up to Hogwarts's standards at the moment.
Seeing no reason to as he wasn't in class, and then finally decided he shouldn't be rude. Greeting this person would ease his tension and his mind could perhaps find ways to entertain itself while indulging in the amusement of another person's conversation for a minute or two, no matter how miniscule on the scale the conversation to him was. "I thought no one else, ever came to this spot besides me? Seizel Capper by the way," he said softly putting his hands in his pockets, nodding his head towards her in a friendly gesture as if he was offering that as his hand-shake. It was obvious he wasn't too partial with greetings and he was horrible with good-byes too.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • She was quite disappointed that she most likely would not receive any peace that afternoon. Sure she could go somewhere else and find a quiet place to be alone but Alaya was too stubborn to leave. It wasn't like her to be stubborn but she just wasn't feeling up to fonding another spot that other students did not venture near. Sure The forest had its perks and there were many students who would not venture near it unless it was necessary. Alaya wasn't going to leave and she half hoped that the boy had somewhere else to be but she wasn't going to be rude about it.
She looked the boy over. He really wasn't bad looking at all. Acutely she had to admit that he had a certain charm about his looks that she found attractive. By his attire she figured that he was also going on the causal side of the normal school dress code. All things considered it did not matter outside of class. She bowed her head slightly in return to his jester. As it might seem, the boy who had just said his name was Seizel, was also not a very social type. It was only a speculation, for all she knew he could be one of those that just about everyone knew.
Alaya smiled slightly. "Name's Alaya Tiaun. Nice to meet you Seizel" She responded. It was only polite to introduce oneself. She did not want to send off a bad first impression. "No most people do not wonder over here, which is why I come here often" She stated as if hinting at something. She half wondered how he would respond. She wasn't sure, however, if she was in the mood for a simple conversation. She figured that if things did not go the way she hoped she could always go to the Quidditch pitch. At least people didn't bother her when she was practicing. Of course she was a beater so there was the issue of possible being hit with a bludger if anyone approached.

Seizel usually didn't like claiming any spots outside, but if he had to move, he would do so reluctantly. Even in this time of day he was still unsure what he would consider as his own resting place, but if she had opened her mouth to respond to him he had heard little. Just remaining sitting in the same spot, not wanting to move at all, after all he had only been here for an hour when he usually spent two hours mulling his days away with nothing else to think about. Even if he was the Ravenclaw Quidditch captain and the keeper of the team, a lot of people did know him. It was just that he liked his alone time when he could get it, but as he turned his attention to Alaya again he merely smiled.
Not usually one to share a spot with a stranger, but judging from her attire she was here to get away from the social stresses of school life as well. Surely, that would be enough reason for him to even consider making another move to bettering their friendship as he realized that Alaya was indeed quite beautiful. Even pondering that one question, but shoved it into the back of his mind. There was no need for trivial games like that to work their way up as he was bound to someone else at this particular moment. Plus he was sure they could end up friends if he chose the right words to say now, "Well, Alaya, pleasure to meet you, I'm also the Ravenclaw quidditch captain, just enjoying my own peace out here in the shade, do I happen to be in your spot?" he asked.
A small smile crept onto his face, as he was obviously good at reading people's reactions and how they acted around him. Even the slightest tick Seizel's eyes would follow her movements and watch for any other nervous ticks that may make their way around her form. Even so, her lips were enticing, but he focused solely on her beautiful eyes. In a way, she was beautiful, but he would only consider being her friend, nothing more. Holding out his hand softly as he stood up moving out of the spot, he was curious if she wished him to leave, but had not gotten any hints of that just yet. Plus he could just climb the tree to the top branch to sleep for the rest of the afternoon.
Today was definitely one of his lazier days and he really didn't want to get into an argument with Alaya over who's spot it really was since Seizel had first started to come here since he had been in his first year when he found school bored him after getting O's on everything he did.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Alaya was not in the mood to argue. She rarely argued about anything, knowing that arguing can lead to a heightened temper she usually stayed clear of confrontations. She did not want to start one now. Seizel seemed friendly enough and who was she to interrupt his peace. This was one of the best areas to wonder to when wanting to escape the pressure of school or just wanted some quiet. At that moment the school was especially loud, going on about the champions and what the first task would be. Not to mention the little twist this year. Alaya took in a deep breath enjoying the smell of the earth and the forest.
So this was the Ravenclaw Quidditch captain. Alaya's interest perked a bit. She did love the game and it was always interesting to meet people from the other teams. And, really some healthy rivalry on the field was a good thing. She smiled at his comment about the spot. So it really wasn't anyone's spot just a great location. Alaya really shouldn't think that someone didn't find it before her. Really anyone who was looking to escape in the many years of hogwarts would have found this area to be great.
This boy was sharp and it would be interesting getting to know him. Unlike her first few years at the school, Alaya was a bit more open to meeting new people and not being as distant. Sure she still loved her space but she wasn't as bad as before with others. "I guess you could say more so a favorite location. It is always peaceful near the forest" There was no edge to her voice. She was merely just stating a fact. "But don't let me interrupt you. I can always find somewhere else to disappear so to speak" She stated kindly as he stood. She really did not want to be a bother.

Seizel was just smiling at the same time, and Alaya did seem like a nice girl so he would play nice today. Normally he would have gone on and on about some weird topic until she walked off so he would be left alone in peace. Even as he considered giving up the spot, there was much else he could do right now as he moved to the tree a few feet over, it wasn't as shaded as the other one. Siezel would deal as he let out a soft sigh not really wanting to disturb her too terribly much. Gesturing towards the spot he had just been at, of course he had climbed the tree too to sit on a branch. One would get the impression that he may have been a monkey in his past life.
Along the way he felt like he had a few things to do still back in the common room, but he stopped himself from worrying as he used his own intuition to figure out how to solve this issue. One would sit there and the other here as he could continue his own conversations for a while without them getting dull. Looking up to the sky once more, as he soon just leaned back against the tree again. Looking out towards the Forbidden forest, there probably wasn't much room for error either. It seemed he had his nice days, but he didn't recall having a problem with anyone at all. Plus, he was interested in one Gryffindor that happened to be an aura seer or whatever she called it.
Seizel wondered if Alaya knew Clementina, but shrugged that aside as he just wanted to think of peaceful thoughts right now. Responding to her after he was situated so he could swing his legs idly on the tree back and forth while lying down almost. Looking rather relaxed and lazy as he spoke in return again, "I think sitting in front of the lake is quite peaceful as well, there's also a place on the other side of the lake that's a good place to rest, but you do have to venture through the forest to get there unfortunately," he said to her, grinning at her. Wondering if she was up for that adventure, but he hadn't really asked, it was just a mere suggestion to a quieter spot.
Knowing fully well that the Forbidden Forest was very well off limit to the students, but he was quite confident he could take on anything in the forest with his knowledge. Yet, in the back of his mind, he realized how many times it had been a stupid idea to even attempt going further in than past the lake.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Alaya couldn't help but smile at the Ravenclaws actions. It wasn't everyday that she saw someone climb a tree in such a way. It was quite entertaining for her. It showed some of the boy’s sense of adventure, made him a bit more interesting than Alaya had thought before. She had to admit, he was very good looking. Sure she wouldn't think of dating. She wasn't really the type and still was not very good at being around people so it was not something on her mind. She didn't really see the point in it when relationships never lasted. In the end it really meant nothing. She figured her mind might change on that subject but not today.
She leaned against the tree and looked up at Seizel as he spoke about another location. It sounded really interesting and the prospect of going through the forest didn't faze her. Sure the forest might be forbidden, but that didn't stop the werewolf from venturing into it's depths for the fun of it. She never really ran into any trouble all too often when she did venture through the trees. She loved the calmness of the forest that many others feared. It was a wonderful place. Alaya chuckled a bit at the prospect of venturing though the woods at that time.
She smiled thinking of a good response. "Sounds like fun" She stated simply. It would be fun if he was willing to lead the way. She watched him carefully wondering if he was all talk and she was better off just going about her own way. Sure both would probably like it more so if the other left, but something kept her there. Maybe it was just her curiosity about the Ravenclaw. He was intriguing, and she could benefit from being around a new face once in a while. Alaya didn't see the harm in the simple conversation.

Such a perfect day, and a person to share it with while in the forest. Even as Forbidden as it seemed, he did get away with a lot especially with the Head Girl since she was in Ravenclaw as well despite his tendencies to wish to be alone. Plus his sense of adventure was usually more cunning than most would expect as he loved taking the more dangerous paths within the forest that lead near the mysterious blood on the ground that had happened several years ago. Sure, there were no traces of it now, but Seizel had been intrigued by the many stories surrounding it. Something strange had happened this year, and he also knew she ha been chosen as one of the champions too.
Now that he remembered her from that, he also knew her name in the long run. Suddenly jumping down from the top of the tree, he looked around making sure there were indeed no prefects looking for them at this time of day. Sure it was a lazy day to be able to lounge and relax like most students would have if they kid. Seizel was too impatient to stand still and wait for events to occur like this one. Especially when he could a girl a good time, however, he knew that this would be futile either way since he wasn't looking for a relationship either. Shoving his hands into his pockets seeing as he was so relaxed with the guarded nature of the forest.
Something was a little off about it this year too, but he paid no mind to that as he just passed it off as his imagination trying to trick him. Finally he looked back at her to make sure she could keep up with him as he walked off at a steady pace for her to be able to keep up with him. Of course, Seizel's spot was a little far, but he knew it would be worth it to share it with her if she wanted a better spot to relax at. Of course, the journey wasn't as treacherous as he had made it, a grin escaped his lips as he had the mischievous glint in his eyes. "Just try to watch out for any wild creatures, since he path I usually take can be dangerous at times, but I doubt we'll have a problem anyways. There really isn't anything we can't handle I'm sure," he said to her..adding the we just in case she thought he was an egotistical Ravenclaw that most viewed him as.
Stereotypes were so over-rated as he made a tch noise at that thought, and then continued on with his usual adventurous smile whenever he thought something exciting was going to happen on this venture.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • This was an interesting day indeed. She wasn't expecting to meet anyone overly interesting, or anyone for that matter. She watched Seizel jump down from the tree. He was defiantly a character. Alaya usually did not find many people as intriguing as she found this Ravenclaw. Not like it really meant anything. She was not a relationship type and there were only a handful of people she was close to and that took years. She was looking forward to seeing this spot that the Ravenclaw talked about.
There were some strange things going on that year. At first Alaya believed that is was because of the tournament but the more she thought about it the more she questioned that theory. It just didn't fell right. Something was off and she wanted to find out what. Alaya was not the one to listen to rumors but in this case she did. It wasn't like she believed them but it was good to listen because someone could give a hint of what really is taking place at the school.
Alaya took one last look at the grounds before following Seizel into the forest. She was used to the possible dangers and atmosphere of the forest so this was nothing new for her. She would venture into the entanglement of trees and shadows if she really wanted to escape from the school and work, as well as people. "Well I am up for a challenge" She teased. There was something about Seizel's smile that gave the impression that he knew something.
Alaya tried to figure out who this person was. That was a strange thing for her but he has grasped her attention. Unfortunately there was little she knew about him. She wasn't one to judge on little thing. "No I don't think we will have any troubles" She secretly hoped something happened. She had a calculating sense of adventure. Her fellow Gryffindors usually would jump into a task without a second thought, well those that she knew well. However, she was very set on figuring everything out first. That did not mean that she didn't love the thrill of an adventure.

Seizel was merely enjoying the view as he heard a grunting voice in the distant, but he couldn't recall where he had heard that before. It seemed rather familiar as if he should warn Alaya about it too, but he was sure she had a keen sense of hearing, as well as smell like he did. Of course, not everyone was as great as the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain, but he was enjoying Alaya's presence, finding her to be rather attractive too. It was almost tempting to ask her on a date, but he figured that would have been too cliche by this point. After all, he only wanted to see how she would react to this spot he found, and call it her own spot if she wished. Not that anyone could label such a glorious and beautiful spot.
As the trees whirred past them while they walked, time seemed to fly by too as the day was shifting onward, but the walk didn't take too long. After all, they were traversing close to the lake, and he had even caught a hint of a merman within the lake having come up to eat a fish for a moment. It was amusing how they were supposed to live in that huge lake at the bottom of it, but he knew there was nothing to fear from them. Grinning at the elegance the merman showed, but he continued on the same path that was traversed many times by him. Heck, even a little path had been trampled down by how many times he had taken it, just traversing as he always did without one ounce of care int he world. Checking behind him to make sure Alaya was still keeping up.
The growl was heard a little bit closer this time, and he realized it sounded more like a whimper. Finally trying to see where the sound was coming from, he knelt down pressing his ears to the ground, but he was unsure if they should go check it out. Even as the spot he had in mind came into view there was a nice little bench that looked like it had been hand-made, not much effort put into it. Yet, the structure it had to it was elegant, and Seizel remembered the time and effort he had put into building that. In his own defense, it was a special spot for him, but he would only show those that he cared enough about. Seizel technically only saw Alaya as a friend, but it couldn't hurt to see how she'd feel about this.
Seizel didn't want to intrude on her personal space as he had to veer off the path a little to find this whimpering animal, but all he found was a trail of blood. Looking towards Alaya, he grinned, "Looks like the spot will have to wait, we have to check this out," he said to her, if he hadn't been placed in Ravenclaw, it would have definitely been Gryffindor that would have been the next choice for him.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • It was a beautiful day and Alaya was really glad she followed the Ravenclaw. Sure she didn't really know who he was, but she didn't really get the sense that he was bad news. No, he seemed really nice and well interesting. She couldn't really describe him any other way. She never found too many people to be intriguing like she found Seizle. She did figure it was because she just met him. It wouldn't be a bad thing to have a new friend, acutely it might do her some good.
She did not pay much notice about the howling. All honesty, she was used to such sounds that it no longer registered as something bad, or something that needed to be addressed. She noticed the lake not too far off. It was really something to see the tail of a merfolk disappear into the water. Sights like that were always fascinating. There was another howl, this time more of a whimper. She watched as Seizel tried to get a better idea of where the sound was coming from.
When he said that they would have to take a slight detour, Alaya didn't mind. She was curious about what was going on to make the animal cry in such a way. "I wonder what happened" She whispered as she noticed the blood. She wasn't too fond of blood, but it didn't overly bother her. The only reason she did not care for it was that it reminded her of what she was, or could become. She no longer feared it, but the idea was still present.

Seizel was nodding towards Alaya as she said this and was focused entirely on the trail of blood. There was no creatures within the forest he knew of that walked this far without collapsing, but when they came up to the stirring creature. Seizel had to get a closer look and it resembled to what reminded him of a small elf. Yet, it didn't have anything close to the same texture, but when he got closer it wasn't too obvious what it was since it was no longer breathing. Obviously death had taken it, and there were fang marks on it's neck. Curiously he reached over to touch it, but stopped himself for fear of the blood on the ground around it attracting predators.
Even if this was something that one of the creatures had done, it was rather messy, and the fang marks were too spaced apart to even consider it to be a snake bite or even a spider bite. Finally examining the markings and the way the creature just laid there almost twitching lightly since some of the nerves were still kicking in. "Poor thing, but that's life, I suppose, wonder what left a wound like that," he said curiously examining the dead animal once more. It looked like a normal sized deer, but there was something else different about the markings. They had runes on them as if it was being used for a ritual.
Seizel didn't know of any spells or certain things that required you to sacrifice a deer, besides maybe to appease the wolf god of aka-hah or some strange thing. Looking around, he saw no other traces, and was looking all around the clearing for any signs of danger since it was obvious that the creature that had done this wasn't really fully done with their meal. The carcass still had a bit of meat on it's bones.

She hadn't seen anything like it before she knot down next to Seizel and reached out to the dear. She traced the markings with her h and, not caring if she got blood on her. She did not have any worrries about the predator. Most hunters were the same and she knew how to fight them. She kept her eyes on the dead animal and stayed alert for the slightest sound.
She gave the area a quick scan. It was very strange. Such a perfect day and now this. Hwowever, contrary to what most people would think this was sort of thrilling and fun for her. It was in her nature. "So any ideas?" She asked in a half whisper. She was now stuck. She wanted to figure this out. That stupid need for adventure. There was also the survival aspect to it. She liked knowing every threat to her inside the forest for those days she did not take her potion and decided to venture to the forest.
Her hand slightly hovered over the bite in the dear. It was still warm. There was something almost fimilar about the fang marks. She couldnt quite put a name to it. She couldnt Even put a reason why it seemed fimilar. She hoped they would find out soon.

Seizel was examining the beast still as he looked around the many areas of the dense forest. It was obvious that this wasn't the work of some ordinary creature, but as his mind couldn't exactly place where he had seen such a thing happen before. Even in Care of Magical Creatures had this not once occurred to him, but here he was just getting used to the lifestyle of being alone until Alaya had happened upon his usual sitting spot. Surely, she could have found a better area to do so, but like he had mentioned earlier. The place he was about to lead her to would have become her new favorite spot in general.
Starting to count the many days since the last attack in the school after the Goblet of Fire ceremony, and it had shaken up many. Even Seizel knew there was something more going on the Forbidden Forest than usual, and creatures normally didn't leave fang marks like that unless there was an abomination he wasn't aware of that existed right now. Once more he was running a hand through his hair, having the blood dry off as he wiped it on the grass near the poor animal that had been almost partially devoured. Seizel wouldn't be surprised if the animal returned soon, but those fang bites resembled a dog's more than anything.
If he wasn't mistaken, he was sure that a werewolf could have made those markings, but the jaw marks would have to have been further apart. Without even blinking an eye he was dead set on the path for moment, but shrugged his shoulders for a moment. Sure, his sense of adventure would easily kick in, but he was more occupied with other things. "Hmm...it didn't seem like it stood a chance in the first place," he said slightly looking down at the markings of a tooth on the ground.
No marks of anything were left behind, but soon he was walking back to the clearing where there was a hand-made bench, the makeshift figure of it was sturdy enough to sit on while resting against the back of it. To the side of it was a hand-made hammock as well, but Seizel didn't mention what it was there for on the tree since he wasn't really certain about sleeping here. Finally showing her his secret spot that looked out over the entire lake with Hogwarts in the distance.

"No, I guess not" Alaya whispered before turning her attention back to the path. she had slot on her mind about the different events that had started to unfold at the school. There was the ceremony and the attack. It was rough on many, especially on a few gryffindors in particular. The family if the one who was attacked. Alaya still could not sum up a reason for the events that were unfolding.
She looked up at her surrounding and was absolutely taken aback. From the hand made bench to the breath taking view. Alaya was amazed at how amazing the spot really was. Maybe it was just her seeing the full beauty because of the negativity that had placed a veil over the school half the time, but the view was beautiful. Alaya walked closer to the lake, scanning the view with her eyes. She was taking in everything she saw, not wanting to forget it.
She kept her eyes on the view but addressed Seizel. "You were right. It is really amazing. Thank you" She was very sincere in her words and did not often utter such words. She was at most times quiet and did not interact with others even when it was approite. She did sense something different in Seizel that made her consider trustworthy. She smield, her green eyes sparkling with a rare joy. She did not show her emotions much but it was something to remember when did.

Seizel was considering telling her about the other few spots around the edge of the lake, but they basically had the same spot. Unable to keep up with many of the other few people that were there, as he finally paced back and forth. Seizel's mind was still preoccupied with what could have attacked that defenseless creature, however, in it's own right it was prey to many predators. Even if it was the most unlikely resemblance to a wolf's bite, or even just the fangs of some serpent. There weren't even any serpents that large in the forest if he recalled, but in the long run it was now time to set up some other form of communication.
Looking up towards the sky as a few clouds drifted by silently, he finally nodded in return to Alaya. "No, I guess not" "Funny, that this place would still be here, and yeah, we wouldn't find it anytime soon. After all there are way too many creatures in this forest, and I don't feel like taking every one of them on...today. Tomorrow, might be a different story, depends how lazy I'm feeling," he commented, letting out a soft genuine chuckle as his emotions pulled through for a change. Normally, the silent, reserved, and manipulative type, it was only time until he slipped back into his pensive attitude.
Seizel normally liked to manipulate anyone that messed with him, but Alaya hadn't shown any hostility towards him at all for the time being. As he watched Alaya looking around, he reminded him slightly of a younger sister. Yet, he had to shake his mind of that thought since he barely knew the fifth year Gryffindor, but from what he remembered she was a beater. Seizel was the captain of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, and it would seem odd for them to even be hanging out. "Well, I'm glad you like it, I don't usually come here often, but I suppose you can have it since it hasn't been used in a while," he shrugged his shoulders to her since it was not really a big deal to him.
After all, he wasn't the sentimental type of guy, plus he really wanted the spot in the tree by the Forbidden forest which avoided having to talk to people still. This spot was just a general think alone spot.

He was right that there were many creatures of the forest that could have done something like that. She couldn't figure out what those marks could have belonged to. Sure there was a list of possibilities but nothing stood out overly much, except for maybe her own kind. Even so that did not fit entirely. She wished there were some answers, or at least not so much happening at one time.
She wasn't sure how to answer him about the spot. She did feel honored but she could never claim it as her own. It just didn't seem right. She did still love the area near the forest edge and she was alright with sharing it. This area, it just wasn't right for her to lay claim to it. Not yet anyway. She looked down at her hands noticing dried blood on them from touching the dear. She walked over to the lake, being careful not to slip. She slowly let the cool water lap over her hands. She was deep in thought before she spoke.
"So what now?" She asked. It wasn't really a question for anyone, just a thought. She did not know how Seizel could answer it. Not like there was anything to be said with such a question. She didn't even know why she asked it. She figured it was because she wanted answers and it was the only thing going on her her mind. She didn't mind silence but for some reason silence did not feel right at that moment. Alaya figured it was just her being over analytical and uneasy. She sighed before siting down a little ways from the lake.

Seizel was indeed quietly contemplating his next few moves, but even in the awkward silence that followed there was some relief in his eyes as he looked down at Alaya. Realizing she was actually sitting down in a rather comfortable place, but Seizel was tempted to just pace on the spot in thought. It wasn't every day you came across a creature in the Forbidden Forest just left half-eaten, with intent of finishing it, but for all he knew it was just some forest creature boring it's way inside the animal's insides. That made Seizel shudder a little, but even so he preferred his alone time over hanging out with other people.
It was the only time when he wasn't the Quidditch captain, and that brought his thoughts back to choosing an heir for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Unable to actually focus on the many things plaguing his mind, he heard Alaya ask him another question and he really didn't have an answer. It was either just lounge here for the rest of the day or let her have her spot within the Forbidden Forest. There really wasn't much else to discuss, and it was only halfway through the day. Seizel's stomach started to growl lightly. That meant it was time to eat, and they would have to indeed travel back to the castle.
"Well, if you're wanting to stay here, I won't stop you, but would you like to head back, or you gonna hang out here for a while?" he asked curiously, Seizel would stay if she wished his company since he had shown her this place. It was a pleasure meeting the young woman, and she would surely grow up to be quite the spectacular girl, but even right now she was still one of the champions. Not that it really mattered to him, considering he had been too busy worrying about Quidditch. It was just her response he was waiting on now.

Sure it would involve sneaking out, but she did it often enough to find her way around the prefects. Alaya looked out at the lake with a smile, wishing that simple moments like this could last longer. It was so peaceful and beautiful but she knew that times like this never lasted. She took a deep breath and stood. She turned back to Seizel and walked back towards the path.
She smiled. "I thank you again for showing me this spot. As much as I would love to stay out here, it is near time to return to the mob of school" She joked slightly. She did not care for the crowds and loved her time alone or maybe with a friend. "I will return later though. This is quite a relaxing place" She gave Seizel a warm, kind smile. Under normal situations she would have left the boy to the spot at the very beginning. A part of her was very glad she had met this Ravenclaw. He seemed to always find some way of perking her interest. It was something new to her but she liked it. Not like she saw him as anything but a friend, at least at the moment.

Seizel didn’t really know what to do anymore, but even though he had shown her his secret spot he almost felt obliged to just tell her that he was looking for something more. Even if she was the only one he would ever show, and to gaze at the stars later like he knew he would. It seemed fate wanted them to clash together, and right now he just figured friends were fine for the two of them. Plus, Seizel had his own Quidditch duties to look forward to later, as he realized that they were soon ending their conversation and moving on to darker territory, he supposed there had to be some common sense in this ploy. Many people would kill to be in his shoes since Alaya wasn’t normally like this with anyone else, but he felt his stomach churning a little making him feel like he was sick.
It was a strange feeling since he really didn’t open up to anyone usually and the only other person who honestly knew a lot about him was Deimos. Sure, that may have been a misconception considering what he was usually like when it came to Quidditch, always putting it before everything else. It was now occupying his mind, but then he had a thought of Alaya on a broom tossing a quaffle to him. Shaking his head, as that seemed rather silly and vague to the point of being delusional, he wasn’t going to think about it too much. Was it him or was he starting to get a crush on this girl already? Nah, just his imagination, however, he figured he should mention that this spot was indeed theirs.
”I have to admit, I’ve shown only you this spot, and I think I’m going to head back as well, would you like to walk together? I could use the company, considering I rather liked our time together,” he said to her, grinning at the same time, a blush not rushing to his cheeks just yet. If there was even a blush, it wasn’t noticeable on his figure, and he soon just smiled in return, ”We should hang out more, I think it would be fun, also if you want, would you like to watch the stars with me?” he added, surely this was the start of a beautiful friendship if not more, if they ended up going to the same place to get food.
