• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • She could feel something turning inside the pit of her stomach. It wasn't a bad feeling, just one that she did not get too often and never this strong. She was starting to question her own logical judgment about that moment. She took a really good look at Seizel. She couldn't help but stare at his eyes. They were a rich and cool blue, not overly cold. They had a warm sense to her and she found them fascinating. She stated to smile, her cheeks warm. She wasn't exactly red, at least not yet. When he said that he had not shown it to anyone else she had to struggle with not blushing. She did not understand why such knowledge effected her so much but she was extremely honored. Someone she just met actually trusted her with something important. It was a first, then again this seemed to be a day of firsts for the most part.
"Yes, I will join you back. I have also very much enjoyed you company and would not mind talking more" Her voice was warm and, well different from how she would talk to a normal peer. She knew that Seizel would most likely just become a really good friend. As far as she could tell, not that many people ever wanted to date her. Or she was just oblivious to them, either way she did have a slight fear of a relationship. That had to do with her past and she knew it was nonsense to think that way but that did not stop the idea from staying in her mind.
She agreed that they should hang out more. She did like his company. He wasn't like most of the people she usually hung out with. "We should, and I was actually planing on coming back tonight to stargaze" She laughed finding it kind of funny that they had a similar idea. "Yes I would lover to accompany you" She walked up to him as she spoke. He did have a certain charm about his looks. She would certainly look forward to stargazing with him later.

Seizel had the sudden urge to pick her up into his arms and then just kiss her right on the spot. Yet, that feeling was soon replaced quickly by guilt as he had toyed with many women's emotions, as odd as that may sound. Usually only using them for his own goals in the end, but he refrained from doing that now. After all, even if there was a darker side to him, he still had his good side to go with it. It wasn't like Seizel was out to get the world right now, and he valued everyone the same. Even with many fears of werewolves he had, but he didn't know that about Alaya yet. Well, it wasn't really a fear, he just wasn't sure how he'd react to meeting one.
There were already a few in the school that he avoided, considering their father's name, but a few of them weren't all that bad. After all not all of the Greybacks had the same influence as their father. Handing Alaya a rare flower that seemed to sparkle in the sun light and had a rainbow glow to it as well. "Here, I picked this for you, and I'm glad you want to stargaze later, I look forward to it. Are you heading to the great hall to get something to eat, I'm probably going to be heading there myself," he said, now following after her. Following the same path out and now there were just bones left of the dead deer that had been there.
Strange, they hadn't heard anything or even noticed anything in the slightest earlier when they had walked by. Perhaps the creature they had been looking for burrowed underground which made him all the more cautious as he was holding out the flower while they walked along for her to take. Of course, she could graciously decline as he was blushing deeply now. Even if they had just met, he had a deep crush on her, due to her forbidden nature that not many of the students showed to him normally.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • They were walking down the path when Seizel offered her a flower. Out of courtesy she took it. "Thank you" She replied. At first it wasn't something that she took huge notice about. It was just a flower right? She held the flower in her hand and looked it over. She was memorized by the color of the flower and how it shined in the light, emitting a almost rainbow glow about it. She had not seen this flower very often. In fact she had only seen it once before when she was really little. A smile formed on her face but this time it was a half hurt smile. However, it did not last long.
A part of her felt like the thank you's were not enough to show her full appreciation. She knew that to most people these small kind acts were almost expected. For her, they were more. She still did not understand what it really meant to be close to someone. Sure she had her friends, but there was still that felling of loneliness. There were only some people she had a connection with, and only one that was considered really close, yet that still did not change her feelings of confusion. Her eyes brightened as she decided to leave her fears behind.
She lightly placed her hand on Seizel's arm to stop him for a moment. Her next move was unpredictable for someone like her. She would never get close to people and kept her distance. She loved her time alone since it meant she would not be given the chance to hurt anyone. She lightly kissed his cheek before starting to walk again. Her face turned red for a moment. She looked back at the flower as a sly grin now appeared on her face.
She walked slightly ahead, taking one last look at the spot where the dear was and currently lay a pile of bones. She still wondered what happened. Something did not feel quite right about the situation. She didn't need to concern herself with such matters as of that moment. She turned her head over her shoulder. "Yeah I was heading for the Great Hall. Lets go" She laughed slightly before turning her attention back to the path.

Alaya was so beautiful in her own right, and she needed to know it more than anyone else he thought. Of course, he realized that when he had given her that flower, it seemed to strike her speechless for a moment. Seizel could merely go through a variety of scenario's that played out in his mind just then on what her reaction would have been. To his surprise she went with the one he hadn't really considered in the long run. As it had just been a flower to him and he thought she'd like it just cause he happened to find it lying around in the open. Luckily, no one else had come upon it, besides him and had given Alaya his own private spot along with the flower.
What else could he possibly give her that would ultimately lead him to his untimely demise at her hands, but he was just exaggerating that part within his thoughts. Mostly the forest that just passed by their eyes as they made their way over twigs and branches again along the path of where they had originally come from. Surely, she easily remembered the path, while he soon blushed as Alaya kissed his cheek, and the feel of her soft lips against it almost made him just fall over in feelings. No one had ever kissed him like she had, besides his mother of course, but this was different. It was from an actual girl and he wasn't manipulating her to get a kiss from her.
Perhaps he had a little bit with the flower, but most girls he knew liked flowers in the long run. Where as most normal girls would have turned him down and told him he was old fashioned for doing something like that. Soon he caught up to her, taking her hand, kissing the back of it softly, before continuing on with her. Almost tripping over a branch as he walked forwards, blushing softly, "Oh my, silly me, I suppose I should still try to watch where I'm going, anyways, yes, the Great Hall does sound lovely, can never turn down food after all," he said as his stomach suddenly rumbled quite loud then.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • She had known some students who kept to the old fashion ways of treating someone. However, none intrigued her as much as the ravenclaw next to her. The little jesters here and there were not the only things that sparked her interest about this particular student. His demeanor was very alluring. There was a sense of adventure and secrecy about Seizel that kept her intrigued. She knew she was starting to form a crush on the boy but decided to bide her time. She knew better than to jump into any form of relationship without knowing who she was dealing with.
However, her fears and cautious nature didn't stop her from blushing when he kissed her hand. She was not expecting anything like that to occur. She wasn't sure how to respond to it. She didn't do anything, considering her cheeks were still splashed pink and she could not come up with anything to say. She did her best to hold back a laugh when he tripped. She was a bit relieved when she noticed that he too was blushing slightly. "It does help to watch your step" She teased. Her voice was playful and had a slight challenging tone to it.
Alaya agreed with Seizel about the food. She was starting to get hungry as well. She really hoped that there was some from of meet being served that night. She had grown used to eating light, and also trying to stick mainly to vegetarian meals most of the time. It was one way for her to hide the fact she was a werewolf and it also tested her control. Nevertheless, every now and then she would really crave some rare or even raw meet. She would never eat it in front of her peers. On those days she would head to the kitchens and eat her meal there. "I agree. I am getting fairly hungry" She smiled as they walked along the path through the forest. It would not be long before they reached the edge and the school.

Seizel was cursing his naivete at the time of it happening, and soon realized she had thought it cute that he had done this. Even as he cautiously maneuvered around the many branches again, his eyes were focused on the ground to look for any obscure roots that wood obstruct his path from continuing onwards. Sure, the pat was the same, but the way back seemed more treacherous due to all of the lecherous branches pointing at them accusingly as if they shouldn't have ventured that far. At least, that's the feeling Seizel got as he passed a few rather old oak trees, and he heard a shifting in the distance. The creak of branches, and he recalled the Whomping Willow being on the outskirts of Hogwarts school grounds.
Having heard rumors about the Whomping Willow back when he was a kid, but he never actually had tested those theories in general. Even though it had certainly proved to be a valuable passageway at some point to some place, but rumors had it that it was closed off now. Finally, he kept his distance from the edge of the lake as a strange screeching caught his ears. Almost looking for Alaya's hand to hold, but he stopped himself. Still a little embarrassed about having almost tripped near her, he kept that to himself. No need to start an awkward conversation based solely upon his own observations as that wasn't how he worked.
Contemplating his next move, and it was natural for him to do this. Being as intelligent as he was, he took the time to analyze every situation even when he shouldn't. Going with her to the Great Hall showed he was interested in her, but if he ditched her to return later, that would mean he was just looking for her company for something like a friendship. Seizel could tell this was indeed too early to say anything else, but he had learned a lot about her that many had yearned to figure out for a while he bet.
"Yes yes, I know it can jump out you, I think it was the roots that spread up out of the ground and literally grabbed my leg to make me trip. Seriously, wasn't my fault...and yes I bet I'll be the first one there," he challenged her teasingly. Now she knew what his thought process was, but even his own mind could surprise him. Bringing him on to the verge of exploring new things all the time, while right now he was just enjoying the brisk breeze that passed by his face as he started to break out into a run for Hogwarts.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • She loved the forbidden nature of the forest. The branches and roots of the trees almost blocking their path as if not wanting them to leave the shadows of the forest. She eaisly manuvered through the entanglement. It was second nature to her. Just about everything about the forest was welcoming to her. She loved the secrets it kept and the way it felt, well like a home. Sure the school and her apartment were the only things that were close enough to be considered a home but the forest never changed. It was always welcoming to her like a home should be.
So it was a challenge? She watched as Seizel took off running. She smiled and took off after him. She was quick but not overly fast. It was a different story during the full moon though. Flying on the other hand, Alaya was slower in the air. But what she laked in speed she made up for with strength. She was careful not to run into any branches as she ran. Alaya let her feet guide her and did not really pay too much attention to where she was going. It did not take too long for her to catch up with Seizel but she was still a good couple of feet behind him. She knew when she was beat. There would be a next time, she hoped.
She could see the grounds from where she was. Apart of her wanted to stay in the forest till well past night fall but she was hungry. She slowed to a walk, catching her breath. "Ok, you win this time" She teased. Alaya leaned up against a tree for a moment since her feet were starting to hurt. That is what she got for not wearing shoes. She laughed at the irony of the situation. She hated shoes because she loved to feel the earth bellow her feet but now the earth had cause her feet to hurt from the running.

Seizel watched Alaya's grace from where he was, but duly noted that her feet were indeed hurting. Even as she was moving to lean against a tree, he didn't want to fall for a ploy that would lead him to be believed he was not well-guarded. Precisely what is it that he wanted from this sixth year Gryffindor, a chance at telling her he cared for her, or just the fact that he was staring into her a little too long. None of it made sense to him, and his feelings were confusing him since he never opened up to anyone. Let alone anyone outside of his own house, but the one best friend he had was Deimos. The cynical, self-centered lad that could give two craps about the world dying off, or a huge war going on.
Seizel figured that that if these attacks kept continuing, he'd watch out for Alaya, no matter what. Vowing that to himself secretly since he was now dreading the fact she would never be able to walk again. It was a silly superstition that he normally stuck with when you ran bare foot in a forest. Sure, there were twigs and the occasional rock sticking up from the ground to stab you in the foot. Seizel was going to have a change of heart today. Amazing as it sounded, he soon walked back towards her putting hands on either side of her shoulders as she leaned up against the tree. Soon he was whispering softly to her, "I can carry you if you need be, unless you can walk the rest of the way," he added.
Just to clarify his hands were placed above each of her shoulders so he was resting them on the tree instead of her actual shoulders as he wasn't too bold to do that. Yet, just approaching her and doing this was probably a bold move on his part in general. Seizel had been rather close and then pulled away to let her answer him, although he was lingering near her face. Not wanting to leave this spot, and he was drawn more towards her than normal. Somehow, she was different, and he could almost tell there was another side to her he might not know about.
Not that he would care, but now he just smiled towards her clearing his throat, hoping to act like her knight in shining armor for now.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • In all honesty, she was perfectly fine. Yeah she wasn't completely used to running through the forest bear footed in her human form. But, she was used to walking in the forest bear footed. She did enjoy the run, it was nice to have some fun every now and then. It helped to take her mind off of the attack and the who tournament thing. The year was already proving to be a strange and maybe even a dangerous one so far. She didn't know if she wanted to know what would happen next in the strange course of events.
What shocked her next was certainly something she was not expecting. She felt Seizel's hands on her shoulders before she noticed that he had come near her. She tensed up slightly at first just in slight shock before she registered who was touching her. She wasn't used to such actions from anyone and it not ending in a bruise or a cut. She blushed slightly as he whispered to her. Her heart was beating faster than usual and that feeling in the pit of her stomach returned. She was nervous, but in a good way.
It was a nice jester but one that was not needed. She looked up to reply but it took her a moment before she could. She was entranced by his bright blue eyes and she really like his shaggy almost wild curly brown hair. "Thank you, but I can walk" She stated still with a hint of teasing in her voice. His smile was charming and she found herself returning the smile. She had never felt like this towards anyone. It was strange, confusing and slightly unthinkable. Who would of guessed that she of all people would fall for anyone, especial someone from another house. She never talked much to anyone even those of her own house and here she was having a really good conversation with the captain of the ravenclaw quidditch team.
Part of her did worry slightly. Seizel had an almost secretive nature about him that was extremely alluring. However she did not know how he would react to her own secrets. She knew she didn't have to say anything but it was the reason she never did get close to anyone. But now she didn't know if she could stop herself. Alaya knew that they should head to the great hall but she didn't move. He was so close as she didn't want to move away, not yet at least.

There were too many things going on at once, but Seizel knew that he wasn't going to be alone with Alaya forever as some students did like to head out to the forbidden forest at times to just do things that others wouldn't think of. Some of them don't even get too far in before they chicken out to go somewhere else. The fact he had shared his most sacred and secret place with her had revealed a little more about him. Just being alone was one of his many virtues, but his intelligence was another. As quiet as he was now, he still had the hawk-like gaze staring into her own.
Even as his breath hitched a little, trying to catch himself as he realized he was leaning forward to go near her lip. Seizel didn't move at all as his hands placed themselves on the tree she was leaning against now instead of her shoulders. He had just met her, so he wasn't sure about going this far just yet, however, the beating in his heart told him this was the right moment. Don't let it pass by, or else you'll let her go. Shaking his head at that thought, he smiled warmly towards her, life was meant for people to take chances. Nah, he'd have time to get to know her more later, right now he wanted to savor the moment.
Even as he leaned in close enough for his lips to almost touch hers, he was blushing deeply as he pulled away leaving that mysterious essence of what he had been about to do. In that short moment he had whispered against her lips, "Come on, we should get going before we lose track of time here, plus we have a date later anyways.." he said to her softly. Even when he had said it, it made him blush deeper. Obviously he was infatuated with her, but could he overcome her own secret. Seizel was hesitant about telling her, but he would later that night when they were more or less gazing at the stars with no one else to bother them.
Not that anyone would have bothered them now anyways as he smiled holding out his hand to hre to take it if she wished...if not, he would be content walking there to the great hall in the first place.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • A few years ago she would not be caught dead with anyone else especially at this time near the forest. Even during her third year she only knew James really, so as far as other people went that was a more recent occurrence. She loved her solitude and only a few dared to enter it. Those that did were defiantly special in their own way but also they were her first friends. She never understood what it meant to be kind or even receive kindness till she meet James and now here she was. Her heat racing as some boy she had just met leaned in closer to her.
She didn't understand why but she was slight disappointed when he stopped. Did she really want him to kiss her? Alaya was not sure but whatever she was feeling it made her face red. She was glad it was getting dark and she was not the only one blushing. "You're right, we do have a date later" She replied still smiling and blushing immensely. She was looking forward to later that night. She wanted to know more about him. She was hesitant to tell him about herself though. She did not want to ruin a good thing. But, she would see how things ran it's course.
Alaya looked down at his hand and gingerly placed hers in his. She laced her fingers with Seizel's. It felt right to hold his hand. She would rather just stay outside with him but knew that it was a good idea to go get something to eat. And besides they would be together later that night and then there wouldn't be a chance of anyone bothering them.

Seizel was uncertain why this felt weird to him, but it was probably because he normally didn't interact with others like this. Even after just having talked to her in the forbidden forest, he didn't want to jump to conclusions by kissing her right then and there. Plus, he hesitated since that would have been his first actual kiss, after all, he normally didn't have time for stuff like this. Now he'd have to find time in between being the Ravenclaw Quidditch captain, but it would tear him apart if they were facing each other in a Quidditch match. It would also feel weird, especially if it interfered with his performance if he was watching her too much.
No, he wasn't going to think like that, ever since meeting Deimos, his cool attitude had put him at a slight disadvantage with mostly meeting girls in general. Not that he had any real interest until now. It seemed rather odd for him to even become infatuated with her on the spot, was it true love at first sight or was he just being silly? Only time would tell after the trials and errors of the last year of Hogwarts. Surely, she'd be missing him next year when he wasn't at the school with her, but he was considering becoming a professional quidditch player now. Sure, he'd travel the world, but when he was done with one year he'd come back to be with her.
No, he was thinking too far ahead again, one step at a time, silly boy, he chastised himself mentally for that soon starting to look towards her. A date, was that what this was going to be called now? Seizel had been the one to call it that, but somehow, he figured it wouldn't be just a date in the end. There would be more to come later on that night, as they finally had made their way to the great hall. "Ladies first," he said softly to her. Secrets, one thing that kept many a couple apart, and Seizel hated them as much as the rest. Anyone keeping a secret should at least spit it out so it doesn't cause trouble in the future.
Of course, that's being a hypocrite since he really should tell her what he was normally like, but that could wait for later. Right now, he was enjoying the evening with her as his thumb ran over her hand in return. "Well, Alaya, you certainly have intrigued me, let us make way to eat our dinner together.." he offered softly as he held open the door for her.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • She was confused why she was walking to the great hall holding hands with some boy she just met. The whole idea of a date was spinning in her head. She had never been on a date nor had she ever been kissed. It was a foreign idea that she was looking forward to. Her heart was racing and she was sure her face was still somewhat red as they walked into the school. She wondered what would happen later. She was looking forward to star gazing but she felt like it wasn't just going to be some simple star gazing.
She knew that if there was ever going to be anything between them she had to be honest. That was not something she was sure about. It was important, she knew that much. Trust was gained and only by the other giving the full truth about themselves. If she said that she wasn't scared about his reaction she would be lying. She was worried when she told James strangely she was more worried now. Alaya wanted Seizel to like her, for whatever reason she believed it to be important.
She usually ate diner alone at the far end of the Gryffindor table. Only on special occasions would she sit near her peers. She was glad that no one really took notice of her. She liked the solitude, but tonight she wouldn't mind the company of one Ravenclaw. "You're not the only one who has been intrigued. I would love to have dinner with you" She smiled before walking into the great hall. There were already people there but she didn't really care. This was going to be a night to remember.

Seizel was certain that most of the great hall was lingering in their direction even as he was considering going on a rampage. No he wasn't about to do that, but his heart felt like it was beating way too fast now as he glanced at the sixth year Gryffindor's hand. It was way too obvious to see that hey had both been out gallivanting and making lots of progress with their relationship so to speak. Walking into the great hall was quite the stress reliever when a few other couples were there too eating together, but he didn't doubt for a second this was just the test phase.
As something bigger would surely come along to whisk him away from whatever joy he was feeling from this currently. Even if Deimos noticed him, he really could care less what his fellow Ravenclaw thought of this interaction, however, he did feel a slight tinge of delight in knowing he could flaunt her off to him. No, he wasn't going to be like that with Alaya, not after what he had just shown her. After all, a secret place was a secret place to begin with, and it was the one place he could think without all the troubles of being the Quidditch captain at times. Showing his true nature might put her in shock, but at the same time might not even phase her.
Seizel soon finally found a spot with her, reluctant to let her hand go as if the world would crash beneath them and he'd fall through without her holding on to him. Sure, he felt like that, but he decided to let it go for now. Lots of time to worry about that later as soon as he noticed food in front of him she was almost forgotten. After all, his stomach was growling, but he gave her a sincere smile as he decided to eat what was there. Waiting for her to sit down first of course, and wondered if she had any preference for her meals. "Haha, I quite look forward to it, you really are interesting, Alaya, I've never met someone so alluring, yet you seem to be just as mysterious as I am," he noted, not that it was a bad thing.
Continuing to smile as he soon just gestured to a seat across from him or beside him, depending on wherever she wanted to sit.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • It was kind of strange walking into the great hall and she did know how fast word could spread in the school. She figured she would receive an ear full from the quidditch team at the next practice. She did not really care about that ate the moment. Alaya smiled as they walked over to a seat. She was curious to see what she could learn about the ravenclaw. She was slightly nervous but it was a good nervousness.
She felt a sting when his hand left hers. She would have never noticed it with any one else but with Seizel it seemed to be the only right thing. She could of sworn that she would wake up soon and realize that it wasn't real but it was. And that fact made her heat race even more. She took the seat next to him. Alaya felt that if she sat across from him it would create a boundary. Besides there was nothing wrong with sitting next to him.
She listened to what he said. She defiantly agreed that he was mysterious and she did want to learn more. There was so much that she wanted to know about the mystery that was Seizel. "I would say you are certainly intriguing. Besides mysterious only make one more curious to learn. So where to start?" She asked with a playful grin. She loved to learn. Especially if it was about people. And even if she realized she did not like Seizel, which she highly doubted, she would at least know something about him.
As far as Alaya was concerned, she had a very dull and, well boring life. She took the time to ignore her past and well she didn't really do much of anything. The only interesting thing about her was that she was a werewolf but she wasn't about to mention that, at least not yet.

Seizel was feeling a little insecure even as he looked at Alaya as he looked at her from where he was sitting. Now he had to decide if he wanted to eat or just continue conversing with her. As much as of a choice as it was, he was going to converse with her and eat, that would solve everything. Seizel would just have to make sure that she wasn't disappointed by his comments, but was the great hall really a good place to reveal himself? Yet, most of the Ravenclaw table already knew what he was like, cool, and calculating on his best days. Even when he wasn't running the wizard's chess club it was obvious he was going to need someone to sit back to rely on. Once more, he found himself at a slight loss of what to say, but he wasn't going to give up on what he was aiming for.
Yes, he figured he would take a shot at attempting to get to know her more in return, as that lingering secret had him immensely intrigued. Normally, a person was more talkative if they weren't hiding some dark secret. Seizel made a face as he thought of her being some sort of vampire, and then shuddered at the thought. No, it wouldn't matter if she was or not, and even if she had tainted blood, he'd still accept for her who she was. Now he had to say why he was here and what he was going to do with her, "Okay, I have to say it, I'm really an alien sent here from the future to probe every one of your species, and make sure that I get every bit of information I can to report back to the master overlord," he said with a straight face. Even then, she could tell he was trying so hard not to crack up, but his serious faces were usually believable.
Plus, Seizel didn't really know her all that well, so he wondered if she was familiar with his own way of sarcasm as it was dripping with it, but he then added after "Nah, I'm really not a bad guy, just head of the wizard's chess club and too intellectual for my own good, so I normally skip classes to venture the library or the forbidden forest since I'm obviously bored here. I hope to become a professional Quidditch player some day," he confessed to her...that was most of his secrets spilled out in one sitting as he dug into some pork chops with mashed potatoes, and some delicious gravy poured on top of it all. There were green beans to the side, but that was just his choosing. A normal muggle meal, but he would have pork dumplings, although wasn't quite in the mood for that. "Also, don't be frightened of my friend Deimos, he's a bit cold and indecisive about others. Plus, I doubt you'd run into him that much, he rarely talks, and when he does, it's only a few words. So, don't think he's shallow, just his way of saying "hey" haha, but like I said, it's rare for anyone else to meet him besides his best friend. Although, I don't like mentioning it that often," he admitted.
Surely, it was weird for him and Deimos to be friends with the way they reacted to one another, but still, it was on an intellectual level where they didn't need words to communicate. Almost like with him and Alaya, well, not almost, more like with Alaya it felt different, rather nice.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • She held back a laugh as he spoke about being an alien. He was good at keeping a strait face, but there was that slight strain that showed he wanted to stat laughing as well. "Yeah, and I'm an android created by humans to dissect information from you about your race" Her voice was level as she played along. She could pick up on sarcasm no matter how strange. It was also fun to play around, but she only did if she felt comfortable around the said person.
She listened to the rest of his statements about the chess club and his desire to be a professional Quidditch player. That was pretty cool actually. She had not known anyone really who wanted to go into Quidditch. And since he was captain she figured he had a good chance. She grinned when he mentioned his best friend. It was interesting to hear him talk about someone in such a way. She wasn't really worried about anything and frankly did not care if she did run into him.
She looked down at her plate wondering if she really was hungry at that time. She would never figure out how the kitchen elves knew when she was in the great hall or even what she was craving, because every time she wanted meat and was at the great hall, which usually never happened, her plate would have exactly what she wanted. Sure there wasn't much on the plate but she never ate too much. There was a piece of red meet on the plate that was just slightly cooked. The center was a dark pink and cool. She did not like bloody meat. Her sides were some steamed vegetables and some fresh fruit.
She took a bite of the meat savoring the flavor. She thought for a moment about what to say. "Very nice with the wizards chess. And hope you do make it to the professionals." She stated. She did mean it that she hoped he would meet his desire profession some day. "Ok so there really isn't much to tell. I am head of the dueling club, gryffindor beater. I try not to skip classes but I will never walk in late to one so if that happens I will be in the library. And as far as future plans I am still undecided for the most part" That was about all she could really think of that was important besides the whole werewolf thing. That could wait till later.
As far as friends went she had one really. "I only have one really close friend and that would be James, and really there is nothing to worry about that one. Besides just about everyone knows him" She was being sarcastic about the second part. Yeah people knew of him but mostly his ego. He was a really good friend though even if people didn't get why they were friends. It was fun talking to Seizel, it was easy. Simple, like nothing could go wrong.

Seizel knew this had been a good idea to get to know this girl, and she was more than just a girl now as he smiled at her, learning more about her by the minute. Noticing how she had sat beside him and soon he was kissing her cheek gently hoping to surprise her, but he knew his hormones were racing. As his body's natural reaction was making him fight kissing her deeply and passionately right on the spot. Even if he was going to ask her to dance in a way, but the forbidden forest was calling him more each time he thought about it. Right now, he munched on his food faster, and finally gave into his own desires. Letting his lips just move a little lower, but then pulled away to tease her.
Yes, his heart was defintely beating furiously fast as he was unsure how to handle the actual situation right now, and didn't want to seem too needy at all. Of course, he sure Deimos would just be indifferent about the whole thing as he usually was, and just be like "Meh" knowing him. Oh yes, he knew Deimos would think it was a waste of time to even let this emotion control him, but Seizel wasn't completely like him as he did have a softer side to him obviously. Eagerly starting to lick his lips after some of his food had spilled down the side of his face leaving an obvious stain there. Chuckling softly as he wiped it off his own face, and then finally just nodded in return to Alaya.
"Yes, well, James Potter, notorious for his reputatoin as is, is quite a respectable friend no doubt, and I don't see how you could not have many friends with how beautiful you are. I thought you would have people dying to meet you, just because of your beauty," he said rather boldly. Seizel was a Ravenclaw and good at examining scenarios obviously. Right now, he knew this was going to end in a good note, but he wasn't about to give up on the scenario that would happen later.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • She blushed deeply when he kissed her. She did her best to try and suppress the swirl of emotions building up at the pit of her stomach. She was not thinking clearly and his teasing did not help in any way. She could feel her heart racing as she turned a darker shade of red. Alaya was really looking forward to later. She never believed she could ever feel this way for someone, especially someone she had just met. But she did like learning about the Ravenclaw. He was worth ever moment of her time, at least that is how she felt at that moment. She wanted to know more.
Alaya focused on finishing her meal since there really wasn't a whole lot on her plate. She started going over all the things she had learned and observed about the boy. The more she thought about him the more she started really liking him. Seizel was not like most people she knew or had been around. She was starting to feel really nervous all of a sudden and she did not know how to control it. Nervousness mixed with excitement kept a smile on her face as she was deep in thought.
She was broken from her thought process when he spoke again. Yeah James did have a reputation. However the second part threw her off. "Thanks for the complement. I guess it is because I like my space and don't really associate with others" She stated simply. "What about you? A charming gentlemen like yourself would normally be surround by followers" She was half joking and half serious. She did find him very charming and was curious about how he would answer.

Seizel definitely wasn't the type to have followers, but he preferred being alone it all it's essence. "The only problem with followers is that they expect me to lead them places and I don't want that kind of responsibility. Sure, I could easily do it, but I'm not going to take the reins for that, haha," he said to her. Smiling warm in her direction as he looked up at the sky, it was approaching dusk already and realized they had been sitting here for a while. Oh yes, Seizel was into her and he was so tempted to kiss those lips of hers as the pink hues of them caught his eyes. Normally enough tor drive a man crazy if she were to linger near his own, he would have surely not cared who else was there in the hall. Well, he wasn't going to let thigns heat up while he was here, but even as he kept his distance away from her. It was obvious he was infatuated with her now and there was no denying that.
After all, he was a boy, and she was a girl, that couldn't have been too difficult to see. Of course, he was tempted to just ditch the Great Hall as he finally was finishing off his food licking his chops gently and then one of his hands brushed Alaya's leg gently. It was just a subtle touch indicating it was time to go, although it could have meant so much more in this proximity. he wasn't about to let anyone get to him, but he had a Quidditch match to get too the next day. Too bad, he wanted to spend the whole night with Alaya, however, he could stay out a little late as usual. It was like him to break curfew at night most of the time, but he wasn't going to just ditch her for his own match. Considering she was far more important than that right now. Seizel was definitely going to think this through for a moment and then just decided right then that he wouldn't ditch her.
Yes, it was much better that he didn't do that, "I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to say that I'm not truly a gentleman at time, otherwise, yes I would have many ladies following me, or guys. Either way, being alone is the best for me...except when I'm beside you of course," he added again. Adding another compliment her way, looking to the side as if pretending to show he was uninterested. Was this like him to be captivated by her beauty so easily, or perhaps it was just the way she smelled. Nah, couldn't be that as he normally didn't go around sniffing woman's armpits...that's reserved for those players out there. Of course, if he was going out with her, he was going to make sure guys would think twice about touching Alaya. Not that he was possessive about that, but he really had nothing much else to say as he stood up holding out his hand towards her to help her up.
