BIOGRAPHY:

Percy Weasley was the outcast of his family for many years. He was devoted to his job, his ambitions making him put his bosses far ahead of family. He was loyal to the ministry of magic for many years, until events proved to him that his family had been right about the corruption in the world and he was forced to accept that he wasn't 'the winner' after all. But one good thing did come out of his devotion to his job: he met Audrey.

The two were married a few short months after Voldemort's death, the second wedding of the Weasley's many children. Their daughter, Molly, was born a few years later, and one year after the future Ravenclaw Lucy came into the world.

She was named Lucille, but the name never stuck. It was far too stuffy for a round faced giggly infant. So the nickname of 'Lucy' was quickly adapted, and most people who know the sixteen year old Weasley now assume that it's her given name. She's never called Lucille.

Her childhood was fairly uneventful. Lots of family gatherings, lots of waiting for the day when she could finally follow the steps of her cousins and go to Hogwarts. Shortly after her letter arrived she went to Diagon Alley with her father and mother and got herself a cat, a pure black tom with green eyes that she calls Midnight. He still accompanies her to Hogwarts each year.

When she finally arrived at Hogwarts she was quickly sorted by the sorting hat into Hufflepuff. There really wasn't any question about it. She had a good personality for a Hufflepuff: Friendly, hardworking, and just a calm individual in general. She had no extreme ambitions or hatreds that would put her in Slytherin, nor the intelligence of a Ravenclaw, or the determined bravery of a Gryffindor. She resents the idea that Hufflepuff is where the 'leftovers' go, though, and is extremely proud in her house.

She made friends quickly at Hogwarts, always willing to talk to old and younger students alike. She never got involved in prefect duties or Quidditch, flying isn't her thing, but is a fairly good student and always willing to help when someone else needs. She passed her OWLs with quite good grades last year, a result of intense studying, and looks forward to what this year holds.
