The hall was silent and not a creature was stirring not even a mouse, and in the middle of the hall was a young Slytherin, merrily making his way towards the Great Hall. There was no time to tell, since it was just past midnight, and he was the only creature stirring, having used many of the secret passage ways to get to his destination. Wearing a black sweat shirt with black pants, he was sneaking into he hall way to plant a trap. A devious trap to catch a frog, however, he needed to make sure it went perfect as he was setting up many of the hidden devices around the hall way. Instantly using protective charms to stop them from being detected until said frog appeared out of nowhere. If only Jacob had an invisibility cloak this would have much been easier.
Sensing that he might have to hire some other Slytherin's to help get the toad, it would be easier to get them to help with this plan. Yet, he wouldn't want to explain what it was for, don't need anyone else getting nosy. Once the traps were set up Jacob was on his way back to his common room, grinning maliciously. He knew of a student that had a frog, and he had set this trap right near where the hall way was the Goblet of Fire feast. It hadn't even started yet, but he already knew that the House Tournament was going to be fun, and it will be easier to move around in the shadows for them. Shaking his head of those thoughts, it soon became morning, and he was already yawning again..thinking about how glorious this day was going to be.
Pulling on the usual black shirt and the colors of Slytherin over his head, wearing the vest as well. Since there was going to be a feast after all, he should at least show up in his usual dress clothes, but he could have dressed in something nicer he supposed. Not that he really cared about the feast as he would be lying in wait for Hugo Weasley, one of the meager puppets in a huge plan. The malicious grin spread on Jacob's face again as he ran a hand through his brown hair while then leaning against one of the lockers. Soon he was chatting up a group of Slytherin's...at least ones he knew that wouldn't tolerate mud-bloods or the Weasley clan at all. Telling them about how he wanted Hugo's frog to teach him a lesson not to mess with Slytherin.
It was the best plan, and the only way it would go afoul is if one of the other members of the group messed it up, of course, Jacob made sure to make it look like they were just wandering back and forth in the hall. Jacob himself used an illusion jinx to make himself blend in with his surroundings, and it was a very powerful one considering his tolerance for mud-bloods was rather low at the moment. Olivia really didn't need this toad for anything, Jacob could have taken on the whole school by himself if he needed to. The other Slytherin's lied in wait, and now the trap had been set.

Rolling out of the four poster bed, Hugo could see light streaming in through the windows of the gryffindor dorm room. He glanced at the watch that lay on the table beside his bed and he cursed silently. He was going to be late to the feast, he really hadnt meant to sleep this long. but hey, wohat could you do. He guessed thats what came with late nights. He grabbed his red hoodie off the end oh his bed and pulled on a pair of ripped jeans, all the while he could feel the eys of the green toad that sat on the edge of his bed watching him. He glanced at Hooper and rolled his eyes. It was almost like the toad was telling him to hurry up. Some people thought Hugo was weird for having a toad, but then he thought people who had cats were weird, though Owls did have a purpose, so he couldnt really say anything bad about them.
He dropped onto the end of the bed and looked around for his sneakers. He had no idea where they had been kicked, people just shoed no respect for other people's things, so evantually had had to stick his head under his bed to find them, sure enough, there they were. Pulling his sneakers on his feet he reached for the watch and his wand and shoved them both in his pockets and headed for the door. He knew Hooper would follow him so he left the dor open, it wasnt like anyone could just walk in and out, so it was safe, and he headed down into the common rooms. He saw that like the dorm, they too were empty, which Mean hugo was later than he thought, but hey, he wasnt realy fiussed, it was just food, and all it was was people's names getting drawn outo f the Goblet. It wasnt like Hugo's name was coming out, so he didnt really feel that inclined to go, but hey, he'd probably get into trouble if he did, and he didnt really feel like getting a detention or loosing house points right now.
Heading down to the great Hall, it felt odd, normally there were people walking around, the castle halls seemed quiet, too quiet for his liking. He turned onto the corridor that lead to the hall, and he instantly felt off, he didnt know what it was, so he just put it down to nothing, thinking he was going mad or something, he looked back to see Hooper following still, he shook his head and grinned, he let the toad go at his own pace and he headed towars the great hall. That was when something caught his attention, in the corner of his eye.

Jacob knew the jinx wouldn't hold forever, so he made up his own words now, as he was on his way towards the hall way where Hugo was, silently following him. Noticing the toad that was needed for Olivia's experiment, and even as he was stalking right beside him, he was grinning the whole time. Wand readily pointed, and then his voice would echo throughout the empty hall way where no one would hear him scream. It would be easier said than done as the frog that he treasured would stop croaking at all or making it's hopping noise for some odd, strange reason. Jacob took the time to circle Hugo once, and was still going over the array of spells within his mind.
The mere fact that this person was here in the hall, and he knew the clan too, this was certainly going easier than he had suspected. Making sure the two other Slytherins that were pacing the hall had done their duties and were carrying the frog away in their hands as they had purposely brushed against Hugo to give him the feeling of perhaps wanting to duel them. Jacob's plan, was fool-proof, and he even had a definite way of making sure no one saw him either. So far, no other students remained behind, and everyone was busy getting ready for the feast. Sooner or later, he would make his move.
Jacob's lips moved as he stalked forward appearing behind Hugo, want pointed, then spoke in a rather low, hissing voice, without a sound, casting his spell, "Imprerio!"
Was all he said, and this would instantly render him as his play toy...making sure he was still turned away from him. Jacob was grinning maliciously, oh the things he could do, but first he noticed that the toad was now being delivered safely away towards the Slytherin common room. That is where he would pick it up, since he didn't want anyone knowing about it's true location. Jacob wanted Hugo's will to be crushed and to at least bend his arm far enough to break it, or perhaps just take out his wand to stab his own arm with it. Yes that would be sufficient as he made his wand move to make Hugo make these movements. "Try not resisting, that will take the fun out of this," he said, grinning the whole time, waiting to hear any protests as he soon wanted Hugo's other hand to cover his mouth to stop him from screaming out for help. Not that he'd be able to since he'd be at his mercy either way. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Hugo had no idea what had just happened. One minute he was walking toward the Great Hall, the next, he was twisting his arm back. Oh he knew what was happening, he just didnt know who was casting it. The imperio curse was one of many that he had heard of, and he knew exactly what it was, but he didnt know if he could over come it, just the sheer will of effort needed to break the curse, often rendered the victim exhasusted, so they could be re-cursed. Or so he had read somewhere. He was brought back to the pressent when he felt the pain in his arm grow, it was getting to the point of nearly unbeareble now, and then next thing he knew, he could hear someone's voice. He couldnt place it, but he knew it.
Telling him not to fight it? well that was a waste of his breath wasnt it. Hugo fought, he fought with himself to try and make his arm stop bending, but it just keept twisting until finally, hugo heard something give, and the pain doubled ten fold, just before a cry of pain could escape his mouth, his other hand was suddenly forced to move over his mouth, muffling the cry so it was barely audible.
OOC: . . OMG! . . I am sooo sorry for the lame post! . . I tried to wirte more but couldnt! . . I will try to write better than this next time I promise! I will save muse for the next post! Swear!

Jacob was thoroughly enjoying this a lot more than he should as he then let Hugo go with the curse, and soon as he was off of it Jacob was already right up into his face grabbing the front of his shirt. Hoisting him up as quickly as the spell had ended and then he smirked softly while looking at Hugo, "In the wrong place at the wrong time, little blood traitor," he sneered, then using his wand without even pausing in his breaths. "Obliviate!" would be the last things Hugo would hear as Jacob soon erased his memory of this ever happening, and didn't think he needed to do anything else now. Of course he wasn't going to render him completely useless, and he would only remember being late for the goblet of fire feast.
Or so was Jacob's intent, but he made no mention of what happened to his frog. Jacob remembered that certain detail just then, the frog. So he had it, and it was safely locked away within the Chamber now. Making sure the two students had brought it where the asked them too, and then using a Bedazzling Hex blended in with the background once more. Jacob had only appeared before Hugo briefly except he had still been behind him when he grabbed his collar. It was slightly amusing how easy it had been, however, he didn't want to get things rolling just yet. There was still a few other details he needed to fix, waving his wand over the floor making it look like it had just been polished without any trace of a frog having hopped along behind him at all.
There was no sign or evidence who was attacked, and sooner or later those two Slytherins from earlier walked into the Great Hall. The scream from Hugo had surely rendered someone's attention, but he had made it so that the Slytherin students notified one of the teachers about the attack. As soon as one of the Slytherins were at the table, the other one ran in with a panicked look on his face shouting about an attack that had recently happened.
When the Slytherin student would only say they came up to see Hugo's arm broken, and they didn't know who attacked him either. Jacob was merely wading his way in to the great Hall, sneaking past those that would dare try to reveal him. The hex was holding up, until he finally sneaked in beside Olivia and Chun, grinning as he made a motion that only they would understand. Jacob's feigned frown was easily hard to keep since he wanted to give out a loud laugh at what he had done, and it had felt great.
Jacob's job was done, but he didn't make any mention if he had completed it, only in the next meeting would he reveal that he had the damn toad. He hoped this was really worth the trouble.

Almost as quickly as he'd been put under the curse, it was suddenly taken off, the next events, seemed to take a life time. No longer under the effects of the spell, his arm dropped back to his side, and the pain raditating from it was enough to hurt his whole body. Then he saw a face, and the voice, the voice nearly sent shivers down his spine as he heard the words. Blood Traitor, hugo really didnt know why so many people cared about that . . right now he thought it was just about houses, and the diffrences for them, or thats what he figured anyway. House diffrence. His eyes flicked to the wand that he could suddenly see, and he tried to pull back from the person with the grip on his shirt but he couldnt, before the spell hit.
Feeling a weird feeling in his head, everything became fuzzy, his head dropped back and he feel limp, his body dropping onto the hard cool stone floors beneath him, he was out cold as the spell worked it's magic of making him forget. Time ticked by slowly, and after a while, the young gryffindor started to stir slowly.

Neville was just about to head into the Great Hall where the Goblet of Fire Ceremony was taking place when a young Slytherin student had caught his attention. Neville stopped and turned around as a pair of them headed right up to Neville they seemed to be going on about some sort of an attack. “An attack? Are you sure?” he asked the two Slytherin boys before they nodded their heads and pointed down the hallway. Neville looked back at the Great Hall and saw that Professor Shaklebot was standing up to start the ceremony; unfortunately the Deputy Head Master would have to be late. “You two boys, go sit with your house, not a word of this, understood?” he told the boys and with a swish of his long black cloak Neville headed on down to the hallway.
Unfortunately Neville didn’t know what he was really looking for as the two Slytherin Boys didn’t tell him much other than saying that there was an attack. He figured he was looking for student, but as to where the student was located, that was another story. But the good news was that it didn’t take long to find said student and instantly Neville had gasped when he had seen who it was. Getting down on his hands and knees Neville placed his hand upon the young Hugo’s forehead. “Hugo, are you okay?” he said softly to the young Gryffindor before he stood up and with a wave of his wand he conjured a stretcher for the young boy. Then with another wave of his wand he had Hugo float up onto the Stretcher, now he just needed to get Hugo up to the Hospital Wing and then let Kingsley know of what happened.

Having no idea how much time was passing, hugo lay on the cool stone floor not game to move, for fear his head would actually explode. He was getting used to the rythmic thumping in the back of his head, but not the actual pain it's self, which seemed to keep growing with each passing second. Then, it was Hugo realised that it wasnt htumping in his head, or the cause of the thumping was foot steps in the hall. He could feel them trhough the floor, and they were causing his head to hurt. He had no idea how he had gotten here, his eyes looked slightly dazed as he felt a warm hand press against his forehead and he winced as the pressure from that made his head pound tenfold. He was trying to rember what had happened, but al.l he could get was nothing, it was gone.
When at first he tried to speak, no sound came out, it was like he had to rember how to talk again too, but he swalled slightly and managed to choke out the words. "M-my . . h-head" . He shut his eyes after speaking, feeling the wind of the cloak that swished next to him as who the person was stodd up, he had recognised the voice, but his head wasnt togather enough to place who it was yet, things were slowly coming back to him, slowly. It was then he felt himself moving, and he let out a groan of pain as his arm fell limp by his side, he couldnt stop it from falling, and the sheer thought of stopping it seemed exhausting, so he let it fall, and took the pain as a shudder ran through his body, as he was lowered onto the stretcher.

Neville noticed that as he levitated Hugo up onto the stretcher that he was waking up and had mumbled something about his head. Then with another wave of his wand he conjured a pillow below Hugo’s head. “It’s alright Hugo, I’ll get you to the Hospital Wing,” Neville spoke with a kind soft voice to the young Gryffindor. Hugo really did look in rough shape, and Neville knew that he had to get him there quick; the healers for Hogwarts would fix him up in a jiffy.
Then Neville waved his wand once more and the stretcher began to float its way down the hall. He purposely took the route that avoided the Great Hall as he didn’t want to cause any commotion with Hugo’s floating on by. Tonight wasn’t the night to have students break out in havoc, and he was sure that all of the Weasleys and Potters would have run over instantly. So instead Neville took the long route and headed slowly down the hall so that there wasn’t a chance of Hugo falling off. “Hugo, do you have any idea who did this to you?” he asked the young Weasley in hopes to figure out who had attacked him.

Lifting his head of the newly conjured pillow, Hugo ignored the pounding as he looked around wearily. He couldnt see his toad anywhere, which was weird. His head dropped back onto the pillow with a soft thud and he shook his head slightly as he heard proffeser Longbottom talk again, not really paying atention to what was being said, Hugo just nodded his head slightly and closed his eyes. When he felt the stretcher start to move, he opened his eyes again. "W-wait . . h-hooper?" He said softly, still thinking it odd that while he had been there, the amphibian hadnt made his presence known, normally he made some kinds of noise, even if he was just moving. But Hugo couldnt hear him, unless he was that outo f it his hearing just wasnt picking it up.
He winced as the stretcher jerked slightly as it was moved toward the hospital wing. He didnt want to be here, he wanted to get back to the great hall, encase anyone he knew got pulled out of the goblet, he could remeber being late for the ceremony, then nothing. Still. His eyesm oved to the proffeser again as he spoke. Hugo just shook his head. "I . . I c-cant remeber . . it's j-just blank" He said with half a sigh at the end. Not being able to remeber was annoying him, and the more he tried to think about it, the father it seemed from his head. Not liking being on the stretcher, and still not really in his right mind, Hugo tried to sit up on the moving stretcher. He thought, if he could walk it off, and get some air he might be okay, but trying to sit up on a moving stretcher wasnt the easiest thing, and he winced as his arm moved again, at least it wasnt the same sharp pain, it was subsiding to a ache now he was getting used to it. "I . . c-can I g-go . b-back to t-the . . . f-feast?" He said softly, he could feel the blood draining from his face from sitting up, but he didnt care.

Neville watched as the poor Gryffindor boy questioned about his toad. Neville didn’t remember seeing a toad and it made Neville remember of the days when he had a toad, unfortunately his toad had died quite a while ago of old age. “I’m sorry Hugo, I haven’t seen Hooper,” Neville frowned as he neared the tower that the hospital wing was located in. Then Hugo had gone on about how he couldn’t remember who it was that hurt him. It really was quite frustrating to now know who did this, or what was even done to him. Neville wasn’t a healer, but from what it seemed so far was that somehow Hugo’s arm had gotten hurt.
Then Hugo had asked if he could go back to the feast and it only caused Neville to sigh. There was no way that he could let Hugo go to the feast in this condition, no matter how important the feast was. “You need to go to the Hospital Wing. I’ll be owling your parents and I’m sure they’ll be wanting to come and see if you’re alright. Unfortunately you’re going to be staying there overnight, perhaps longer. It all depends on what the head healer says,” Neville sighed again as he rounded the corner and then entered the tower that the Hospital Wing resided in.
