JADE ?!

jade is bored, therefore jade is going to redo her introduction! it's been about two months since my original... and not much is changed, but boredom is an excuse for everything.

hi everyone! i'm jade. or jadey. or jd. or jadikins. really any nickname is good, though i tend to go by jade or jd. it's my real name, and i adore it. for those of you who know the lovely miss pepper (one of the mods here with a whole slew of characters) you may be aware that she and i are roommates, and have been for a few years now. so if you ever need to contact one of us, just tell the other and we'll get the message across asap.

so... about me. i'm a drama kid. i've been involved in theatre for a few years, musicals and plays and i think i'm hooked for a good few years yet. i've been in both stage crew and acting, but have to say that i prefer being onstage to being behind the scenes. i mean, both are cool, i just love the rush of adrenaline of being onstage. i've been in annie, the wiz, camp rock, an echo of wings, in a room somewhere, alice; the tea party, schoolyard games, heaven is..., and among friends and clutter so far. usually my years are separated into musical and drama time. the little months in between are just 'that time when jd actually has the time to rp a lot'.

i'm also a music inclined person. i sing, play trumpet, french horn, trombone, clarinet, flute, saxophone, piano, and guitar. my band conductor loves me because whenever we're short an instrument, i can often fill in. i started with piano at age six, actually, and through the years it developed into a wide range of instruments. music is a good outlet when i'm bored and need things to focus on, ways to channel emotion. lately i've found myself doing so more and more often.

one 'interesting' fact about me? i don't like to drive drive. i have my license, and i used to drive a lot, but i don't really any more. i panic when i'm at the wheel of a vehicle. before you judge or say 'how did she get her license if she panics?', let me explain. my life is like a very bad movie. my parents died over three years ago, almost four, in a car accident. drunk driver. then five months later my boyfriend of four years hit some ice on the roads, flipped his vehicle, and passed away as well. since then i haven't been able to drive. it doesn't help that last year three friends of pepper and i also left far too soon of road related accidents. it's really quite terrible. i've been trying to drive more, stretch my comfort zone recently, but i still really only prefer to drive in emergencies. kind of going along with that, and something that i generally hide, i'm severely depressed. roleplay is my way of channeling energy, distracting myself from high emotion or bad days, and i must say it works. no, i'm not looking for pity, just be aware that somedays if i'm a bit off you probably haven't upset me. i just get that way sometimes on bad days.

i'm an only child, no bros or sis'. i don't even have any cousins. my one aunt and uncle decided not to have any kids, but i absolutely adore children. i'm one of those girls who wants a big family when she finds the right guy, whenever that may be, and gets married. i'm a godmother of a good friend's year old son. his name is cayden and he's freaking adorable. cutest baby on the planet (until i have kids, of course).

hm... what else... oh, my characters!

currently i have a fair number of characters including, at the moment, 19% of the male population on nms. in order of their creation i have jaycen tate, lucas shunpike, frank longbottom, fred weasley, seyton greyback, nikita wynter, harry potter, zachariah crawford, and alaric ayala with likely more to come. i am a complete drama addict, i love to make my characters miserable, and so i can often be found in the middle of very dramatic plots simply because i can't resist. 'no' is not in my vocabulary when it comes to torturing my poor characters.

so... yeah, that's me. if anyone ever wants to thread or plot, pm me and i'll get back to you asap. i rarely say 'no' to ideas, and i promise i don't bite. ^^
