EYE COLOUR: Light blue-green
HEIGHT: 5'8"
WEIGHT: 125 lbs
PERSONAL STYLE: Lina will wear comfortable, sensible clothing. Black leather jackets, combat boots, will fitted jeans, tank tops, etc. She doesn't wear a single bit of jewelry, as she finds it just gets in the way of things, and will typically have her hair up in a braid, bun, or ponytail. She'll wear makeup, but typically keeps it pretty simple. This girl can dress up if she feels like it, but once again it's got a certain type to it. Short cocktail dresses, little to no jewelry, and maybe a little bit more make up. Flats instead of high heels, typically, unless she manages to somehow snag a date that is a good few inches taller then her.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Lina's tall for her age, standing already at 7'8". She has pale skin with a smattering of freckles along the bridge of her nose and across her shoulders. Her eyes are more of a green color ringed by a blue, but you only notice this when you get close. She's got a bit of curve to her body, but considering she's only 16, it's not anything like her mother's. Her bottom lip is larger than her top lip, giving her a slightly pout to most of her looks. Her red hair goes just past her shoulder blades currently, and she typically wears her hair in braids/buns/ponytails/etc to keep it out of the way. All in all, she's a typical teenager, just taller than the average girl by a good amount.

THOUGHT YOU SAW WINK, NO,
THOUGHT YOU SAW WINK, NO,

------------------------------------------------------------
+ Quidditch; Lina lives and breaths for the sport.
+ The Harpies; She hopes to one day play for them!
+ Defense Against the Dark Arts; seems like a pretty interesting class most days!
+ Joking Around; Maybe a little sarcastic, but Lina likes a good joke.
+ Taller boys; Tall, handsome, flirty, cocky, she really just likes boys.
+ Flirting; Hand in hand with boys, she likes to flirt with them. A lot.
+ Fighting; Not so much dueling all the time, rather a good old fashion fist fight. She will take you down.
+ Dances; She loves music, dancing, and all the awesome things that happen at dances... or awesome parties.
+ Her Siblings; She'll defend them too the end, no matter how stupid her brother is or how crazy her sister is.
+ Having a Bad Rep; not doing homework, generally rebelling, flying crazy, flirting with all the boys, Lina likes having this shell of a bad girl in place. She likes the reputation.
CHARACTER DISLIKES:
+ Homework; if she can get out of it, she will. Promise.
+ Potions; Hand in hand with the one before, she hates reading. Potions has a lot of attention to detail, and Lina just isn't good at that sort of thing.
+ Rejection; Flirting is one thing, but she really doesn't like the idea of putting her heart out there to be rejected.
+ Boring People; Those who follow the rules blindly and don't seek to be their own person, or who are just generally boring, do your homework and enjoy it sorts. What's really wrong with them?
+ Rules/Being Told what to do; Maybe it's a problem with authority, maybe it's just Lina being a rebel, but she hates rules (minus Quidditch), and she hates being told what to do. If she can do the exact opposite, she will.
+ Her mother; Natasha Kalkuskov and Lina have never gotten along since the day she was born, and nothing is going to change that. Lina hates her mother passionately.
+ Stuck up sorts; Snobby, I'm better than everyone sort of deal. Lina would rather stuff those sorts into the U bend and see how they feel after that.
+ Girls; for whatever reason, Lina rarely gets along with other females. She's come to generally assume every girl and her are just not going to get along.
+ Emotional Attachment; Coming to really care about someone that isn't Alan or Layla scares her horribly. Whether is friendship or romance, this idea is hard to over come for Lina.
+ Beating Around the Bush; Honestly, why do people have to sit around and talk around a subject? Lina just feels it's better to say what's on your mind then cover it up, without really caring on the subject matter or who's around in the least bit. People who don't just say what they mean really annoy Lina.
GOALS: To become the greatest Quidditch player ever. But just short of that, she'll take an awesome career in the field by joining the Harpies. Secretly, Lina craves to be a wife and a mother someday. But she won't even admit this to herself.
BOGGART: Her mother. Simply put, Lina hates the woman and is scared of her mother more than anything else in the world. The woman is a very tall, Russian witch with brillant red hair, icy blue eyes, and a figure that causes most people to stare. She never smiles, and her gaze is like death.
PATRONUS: Flying for the first time. Lina's never felt more free in her life, and that joy of feeling her toes leave the ground and to soar in the air is the greatest moment in her life.
DEMENTOR: Lina spent four years saving up for her own broom, and just after she got it, her mother broke the thing over her knee to "prove a point". While plenty of other things could be worse, for Lina it was like losing freedom. Of course, she got a different broom before she returned to school, but it was hardly the same. The sickening sound of that breaking wood sets her teeth on edge every time she thinks about it.
AMORTENTIA: Fresh mountain air, jazmine, and freshly baked sugar cookies.
BASIC PERSONALITY:
+Bold
+Flirty
+Wild
+Blunt
+Careless
+Confrontational
+Guarded, emotionally
+Random
+Fun
+Dream chasing

HOMETOWN: Born in Luxemburg, Russia
CURRENT RESIDENCE:Sunbury, U.K.
BIOGRAPHY: Lina Kalkuskov was born rebellious, at least if you ever listen to her mother. From day one, the girl had to have her way and would settle for no other. At a very young age she was the pain in her mother's side that would never let up. She was born in Russia, as were her two other siblings, but life drastically changed when Lina was 8. Her father died, and her mother's personality warped because of it. The woman was offered a job in England at the ministry, doing work as an Auror, which is exactly what she had been until she had gotten married and had babies.
The family moved to England, and Lina soon learned that her mother had become a very different person. Where the woman had been stern, and strict, she was now harsh and cruel. Instead of loving her children the best she could (in a relatively cold manner), Lina found her mother doing something she had never done before; hitting her children. Of course, this didn't change Lina's persona one bit, if anything it made her more unwilling to obey her mother, and thus the beatings always escalated. However, in keeping her mother's anger on her, the red head managed to protect her younger siblings from the same thing. Compared to Lina, they looked like angels, and the red head would have it no other way.
Lina's life has always been one of extremes since the day they moved to England. Once she started going to Hogwarts she found a bit of refuge, a place where her mother could not touch her. During the school year she tried hard (at first), but the moment she sat on a broom her world changed again. She had found her calling, and it was nothing her mother would ever approve of. The strict, cruel woman wished her children to be the best of things. Ministry workers, healers, that sort of thing. All Lina wanted to do was fly and play Quidditch. Needless to say, the arguments have only gotten worse over the years. Now Lina spends most of her summers and her holiday breaks locked in her room between beats, and spends most of her school year on a broom if she can help it (or flirting). Lina has a harsh life, but she wouldn't trade it for the world. Not anymore. She's accepted fate, and she's ready for her schooling at Hogwarts before reaching out to her dreams. Too bad that's going to be another year to come.

Breaking and entering was easy for Lina by this point in her life. She hadn't done it before running for it, but she had learned all about it quick enough. Here she was breaking into another magical home in hopes of making some cash. Lina always needed money, and she wasn't going to admit that she had a drinking problem that slowly took away any money that she had. Oh no, she'd never admit that. The drunk thief, living as free as a bird and acting silly because of it. The holidays would be soon of course, just five short days away, and homes would be filled with all sorts of goodies. She felt bad of course, a small part of her for breaking into a home this close to it. But she wouldn't be rifling into any sort of presents, even she had some lines she wouldn't cross. Kids would be waiting for those.
No, she'd be here for the quick cash and possibly a quick meal from the fridge. The red head chuckled under her breath, flexing her hands in the black leather gloves that covered her digits. The pale girl looked over the house from her hidden spot. Magical sorts were always quick to make their homes safe via the doors, and even the first floor windows, but just about no one thought about second story windows. Or third. Or however many floors up they had. This one had a beautiful second story window that was just calling her name. It was beckoning her in a way that she could not deny it, and Lina was going to answer that siren call without a doubt.
How would she get here? Such a laughable question. The side of the house was easy to climb, all things considered. She just needed the right sort of thing to get up. It was snowing, so she needed be careful. A small little grin was on her lips though, and the woman stretched her arms. Leather jacket was zipped all the way up, and her scarf was tucked inside of it. What did Lina do? She pulled the gloves off, and scaled the side of the house. It wasn't easy, but these old homes were made of brick and had all sorts of little cracks in the walls that were perfect for her fingers and toes in. Her boots were hanging over a shoulder by their shoelaces, and damn were her toes freezing.
She was easily up to the second floor window, bracing herself on the windowsill with her left arm and her legs. Her right hand braced against the window and pushed up, hoping that some stupid idiot had left it unlocked. But damn, they hadn't, and now she was going to have to pick the damned lock. She shoved her right hand into her jacket pocket and pulled out various pins. Several were shoved between her lips, and she made herself take a deep breath through her nose. There was a lot she had to do in order to get money sometimes, and this was one of them. She braced her legs as carefully as she could, and Lina knew she didn't have long before her toes gave out on her in the freezing cold with how they were cramping.
It took maybe forty painful seconds, but the lock was opened, the window pushed up silently, and Lina rolled through the opening like it was her salvation. There was a small bit of a thump, she knew from when her feet touched the ground. She closed the window behind her, and quickly shoved her pins back into her pocket, gloves back on her digits, and feet welcomed the feel of her boots. All in all, everything was going well. No one was home from what she could hear, and the red head started to go through the room was she in. Guest room from what she could tell, so doubtful she'd find anything good. But you never knew where people would stash the good stuff.
Of course, a few minutes later, Lina was making her way down the hall to the Master bedroom when she heard a creak from somewhere in the house. The wind wasn't blowing currently, so it couldn't be blamed on that. There was no signs of pets, no fur on the ground, no tell tale smells of litter, or anything else like that. Someone else was here. Someone else was in this house right now while the family was out. They had probably heard her by this point, she hadn't been a mouse because she had been alone. Shit, shit, shit, shit. This was going to get ugly quick like.
