EYE COLOUR: Harry's eyes, as many people had told him back when his younger, was much like his late mother's almond-shaped and bottle green eyes. He has long change the round-rimmed glasses he was known for and now wears a more convenient pair of horn-rimmed glasses.
HEIGHT: 6'1"
WEIGHT: 166lbs
PERSONAL STYLE: Being a Head Auror, it’s a must for Harry to be presentable most of the time. He goes to work in a formal dress shirt and a tie topped off with a Ministry robe. But when he’s at home Harry is far from the sleek and serious man that he appears to be in the Ministry. He loves to lounge around the house in an old but comfortable shirt and some pair of jeans.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Harry never really had a buff body, even back when he was still an Auror that was constantly on the field but he has kept his lean figure well over the years. He had grown out of his thin and wiry adolescent form but much of his physical features remained the same. He still had the notable messy mop of black hair on his head and his thoughtful green eyes hidden behind a pair of glasses. The scar on his forehead that he was famous for has faded slightly since the defeat of Voldemort.

PATRONUS: His patronus is a stag like his father’s animagus. His best memory was seeing Ginny safe and alive at the Battle of Hogwarts.
DEMENTOR: His worst memory was watching Sirius fall through the Veil. Sirius had been the person he could confide in after so long but had to go too soon.

BIOGRAPHY: Harry James Potter was born on the 31st of July 1980 to the proud young Potters, James and Lily. But because the couple, who were members of the first Order of the Phoenix, refused to be in Lord Voldemort's side, they had to live in hiding in the village of Godric's Hollow. The family lived happily for a year, safe from harm thanks to the Fidelus charm. On the evening of October 31, 1981, Lord Voldemort had surprisingly figured out where the Potters were and came to Godric's Hollow with one intention: to end their lives. James Potter tried to defend his family but because he had left his wand in another room, he was quickly killed. Following Lily and Harry into a room, Voldemort easily took her life with a Killing curse.
However, he was unsuccessful to harm little Harry. Lily's sacrifice had created a powerful barrier, her love preventing Voldemort from hurting her child. The spell had backfired and destroyed Voldemort's body instead and left Harry with a lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead. That was the day Harry had become known to be the first and only person to have survive the Killing curse giving him the name 'The Boy Who Lived'.With the Potter's residence destroyed and young Harry left alone, Rubeus Hagrid was given orders by Albus Dumbledore to rescue the child and take him to his only surviving relatives, the Dursleys. Hagrid took Harry to Privet Drive in Sirius' motorcycle and left him to the Dursleys with a letter written by Dumbledore, explaining everything that happened.
The Dursleys prouded themselves as a normal and proper family and hated Harry's magical abilities. It was the worst possible childhood for anyone. Harry was kept in a cupboard under the stairs clothed in too big had-me-downs from their pampered son Dudley. He became some sort of a slave and Dudley was a horrible bully to him. Every year Dudley was given spectacular birthdays but gave Harry none. He felt like a prisoner in the only place he could call 'home' and was miserable at school. On Dudley's eleventh birthday, the Dursleys went to a local Zoo with a friend of Dudley. They were reluctant to take Harry with them but since no one was going to watch him, they had to. At the zoo, Harry accidentally made the glass wall of a boa enclosure disappear and let the animal loose. Vernon was enraged and locked Harry in the cupboard when they got home, not believing Harry's excuse.
On the day he turned eleven, he discovered the truth who he really was. The entire week of Harry's birthday, hundreds of letters began arriving at the Dursley's home, addressed to him from a place called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Dursleys saw the letters and Vernon Dursley tried to destroy every single one of the letters in an attempt to keep Harry from his destiny. But the letters continued to pour in everyday and they were left no choice but to leave their home in Little Whinging. Much to their dismay, the owls that delivered the letters had followed them wherever they went. As a last resort they transferred to a small, shabby shack on an island in the edge of the sea.
At midnight on Harry's birthday, Rubeus Hagrid visited the place they were staying in personally wanting to find out why Harry had still not received his letter. He was extremely disappointed by the Dursleys and their attempt to keep Harry in the dark. He explained to Harry that he was a wizard, how his parents really died, and that he was to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hagrid gave him a home-made birthday cake as a gift, which was to be followed by an owl Harry named Hedwig. Hagrid took Harry to Diagon Alley, were he was surprised by how much people knew him. There he learned about his famous story, that he was known as The Boy Who Lived. After dropping by at Gringotts, Harry bought his first wand at Ollivander's. His wand was made from holly and was eleven inches long with a phoenix feather core from Dumbledore's phoenix, Fawkes.
FIRST YEAR
Harry met his two best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger on the train ride to Hogwarts. He was immediately taken with Ron, but had a certain distance with Hermione still though he treated her nicer than Ron did. The Sorting Hat had placed him in Gryffindor by Harry's choice but had considered putting him in Slytherin, saying that he was also well suited there.
On the Halloween feast, a Mountain Troll was let loose into the school. The students were led back to their Common Rooms by prefects. Having realized that Hermione did not know about the Troll and was still in the bathroom because Ron had made fun of her, Harry and Ron went to the girls bathroom to find her. But the Troll was already there and had found Hermione. Harry and Ron successfully knocked out the troll with its own club and saved Hermione from trouble. When the professors arrived, Hermione lied and told she wanted to see the troll for herself and in turn kept the two boys in trouble. And that was the beginning of their lifelong friendship.
While Harry spent his time at Hogwarts, everyone was oblivious about the attempts of Voldemort to return. The Dark Lord used Professor Quirell's body as a host in his search for the Philosopher's Stone which was hidden in Hogwarts, believed to have the powers to restore his body and make him immortal. Harry, with the help of Ron and Hermione, went to find the stone for themselves before Voldemort did. Harry once again was able to defeat Voldemort and prevent him from coming back.
SECOND YEAR
Harry's summer was a disaster. He was kept from contacting his friends and had been mistreated by the Dursleys as he was in the past decade. On the night of his twelfth birthday, the house-elf Dobby payed him a visit and told him that he must not come back to Hogwarts. Dobby even used his powers to disrupt the business meeting Vernon had and caused Harry to be blamed and punished. The Dursleys were unable to keep Harry for long because Ron and his twin brothers, Fred and George flew their enchanted flying car to rescue Harry and take him to the Burrow, where a furious Mrs. Weasley was waiting.
Dobby did not give up and sealed the entrance at King's Cross early, stopping Harry and Ron from passing through and getting on the Hogwarts Express. They had no choice but to take the Flying Ford Anglia and follow the train. They arrived in time, but Ron had driven the car into the Whomping Willow which crushed the car and Ron's wand. Harry met more misfortunes especially with Professor Lockhart, who enjoyed putting Harry in the limelight. It was because of Lockhart that Harry discovered that he was a Parselmouth when he was chosen in the Dueling Club against Malfoy.
Everyone in the school now was putting the blame of opening the Chamber of Secrets and attacks on Muggleborns on Harry, since his ability was associated with evil wizards particularly the 'Heir of Slytherin. Harry believed that the true culprit was Draco Malfoy. He tried to get information from Malfoy by using a Polyjuce Potion but only learned that their presumptions were wrong.
Soon Harry discovers a diary with writing in it, belonging to a Tom Marvolo Riddle. He learns by then that the Chamber had been also opened fifty years ago. That time, the suspect was Hagrid. Not long do Harry and Ron discover that Hagrid wasn't the one who opened the Chamber but it was Ginny Weasley, Ron's youngest sister. She was possessed by the memory of Lord Voldemort after spending some time with her diary. They also learned that her body currently lay in the chamber and they set out to rescue her accompanied by Lockhart. They were able to trace the location of the Chamber using Harry's Parselmouth ability.
Once in the Chamber Lockhart tried to erase the boys' memories with Ron's broken wand. The spell backfired and he erased his memory instead. The route to the Chamber caved in and Harry was sepearated from Ron and an obliviated Lockhart and was forced to go through alone. He had already found Ginny's unconscious body on the floor when Tom Riddle went to greet him. Riddle revealed his history to Harry and told him that it was him who realeased the Basilisk.
Harry defeaed the Basilisk with the help of Fawkes who had brought the Sorting Hat and Godric Gryffindor's sword. He then stabbed Tom Riddle's diary with the Basilisk fang laced with venom, not yet knowing that with his actions he had just destroyed one of Voldemort's Horcruxes. Fawkes flew Harry, Ron, Ginny and Lockhart out of the Chamber once everything was over.
After telling Dumbledore that Ginny wasn't liable of her actions and that Gilderoy Lockhart was a complete fake, he learns that the true culprit was Lucius Malfoy. Malfoy had slipped Ginny the diary back at Diagon Alley. Harry was able to free Dobby who was gravely mistreated by his master Lucius Malfoy.
THIRD YEAR
Sirius Black, who was imprisoned for allegedly leading Voldemort to the home of James and Lily Potter, escaped from Azkaban in the summer of Harry's third year. This caused tension in the Wizarding World because he was the first to have escaped from the heavily guarded Wizard prison and everyone believed that he set out to kill Harry. Harry ran away from Privet Drive after an incident involving him blowing up Vernon's sister out of frustration. He rode the Knight Bus to the Leaky Cauldron where Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge was waiting for him. It was there when he overheard the whole ordeal about Sirius Black.
On the way back to Hogwarts for his third year, he and his friends met Remus Lupin who was a very close friend of his father. Harry grew close to Remus over the year, even asking him to help Harry to combat the dementors. Harry soon began to consider Remus as his best professor so far.
After accidentally overhearing the Minister and several Hogwarts professors speak about how Sirius Black, Harry's young self became distress with the fact that Sirius Black was still his godfather. The upcoming Quidditch final only did little to relieve him of his heavy heart. He was determined to face his parent's traitor personally.
It was the day when Buckbeak was scheduled to be executed when he, Ron and Hermione ended up in the Shrieking Shack. Scabbers had attempted to escape and Ron, who ran after his pet rat, had been dragged in through the Whomping Willow. Harry and Hermione discovered that the black dog was the animagus form of Sirius Black, and that Scabbers was actually Peter Pettigrew. He was confused when Remus had come but not to protect them but welcome Black. The two men struggled to explain to Harry what really was the truth. It was Harry who stopped Black and Lupin from finally ending Pettigrew's life, suggesting that the man instead should be turned over to the Ministry.
Harry and Hermione were the ones who had come to help Sirius, who was badly injured after protecting the group from a transformed Lupin. He was unable to successfully ward off the Dementors that closed on them and was thankful to the blurry figure that had sent a Patronus. He was fully convinced that it was his father that casted the Patronus.
Later Harry and Hermione awoke to find themselves in the infirmary and that Sirius was about to be subjected to the Dementor's Kiss. They pleaded with Dumbledore who instructed them that nothing could be done without more time. Hermione took Harry and used her Time-Turner to send them back in time. Once there, they hid out until the time was right to rescue Buckbeak. Afterwards, they waited for the appropriate moment to save Sirius. While they sat in the woods, he tried to tell Hermione that he thought that his father might have saved them. Harry arrived at the lake watching the dementors attack his body. And as he watched, he realised that he was the one to cast the Patronus Charm that saved his life. Once he drove away all the dementors, he rode Buckbeak with Hermione the pair rode Buckbeak to Sirius's window and rescued him.
FOURTH YEAR
In the summer before Harry's fourth year,he went to the Quidditch World Cup with the Weasley family and Hermione. At Stoatshead Hill, Cedric and Amos Diggory joined them. They stayed in a tent which wasn't like what you saw. They were able to see the match between the Irish and Bulgarian national teams as Harry, the Weasleys, and Hermione had seats in the top box.
The night after the match, while the Irish team's supporters were still celebrating, a group of black-cloaked, hooded figures suspended the Muggle camp site manager and his family in air. Harry fled into the woods near the camp site, along with Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, and Ginny. The group was unintentionally separated in the woods, and Harry lost his wand in the process. While in a clearing in the woods, Harry, Ron, and Hermione heard someone shout Morsmordre and cast the Dark Mark. Although he did not immediately recognise it, he soon learned that the Dark Mark held evil. Then, Barty Crouch Sr. and other Ministry employees apparated into the clearing and began to question them about the Dark Mark. He said that he had heard another voice conjure the Dark Mark. The Ministry employees searched the area and found Winky holding Harry's wand. Mr. Crouch fired her for disobeying orders.
At the start of the opening feast, Professor Dumbledore announced that Hogwarts would host the Triwizard Tournament. Rules stated that there was a specific age for anyone to join. But Harry was mysteriously chosen as a fourth competitor, even though he was under-age and never entered his name into the Goblet of Fire. Many people did not believe his story, including Ron believing this to be nothing but another attempt to gain fame. This caused extreme tension between them. Hermione understood him and helped Harry to prepare for the tasks.
In the first task, he needed to get past a dragon to collect a golden egg. Hagrid gave him a head start and showed the dragons to him. Harry told Cedric about the first task, trying to level the playing field. He thought it wasn't right that he was the only one who did not know about the first task. Harry faced the Hungarian Horntail and finished the task by using a Summoning Charm to bring his Firebolt and outflew the Hungarian Horntail to get the golden egg. During the celebrations in the Gryffindor common room, he and Ron finally spoke after a long time and regained their friendship.
Before the second task, the Yule Ball was held for Christmas. Harry found the strength and asked his crush Cho Chang, rather ungracefully to go the Yule Ball with him but was disappointed to learn that she had a date. He and Ron ended up attending with Parvati and Padma Patil Their dates were not happy when they both ended up neglecting their dates.
To prepare for the second task, Harry had to open the egg he won from the dragon, but every time he did, it screeched. But Cedric paid him back with the information that he would figure it out if he "takes a bath" with the egg. Harry followed this advice and successfully got the clue but not without having an uncomfortable exchange with Moaning Myrtle. Harry learned that the second task was going into the Black Lake to rescue "the thing they would miss most" from the Merpeople. His problem was that he had no idea how to survive underwater for an hour. He got his answer in the form of gillyweed from Dobby, who had come to work at Hogwarts. For this task, he had to save his best friend Ron. When Harry reached Ron, he was shocked to find Hermione, Cho, and Gabrielle Delacour there as well. After Cedric and Viktor rescued Cho and Hermione, Harry hung around, and saved Gabrielle as well as Ron.
For the third and final task, Harry, Ron, and Hermione used vacant classrooms to practise spells and jinxes. During this final event, he and Cedric Diggory agreed to touch the Triwizard Cup simultaneously. They were both unaware it was actually a Portkey and were transported to a graveyard, where Lord Voldemort was waiting. Harry had to watch in horror as Peter Pettigrew killed Cedric in front of him, upon Voldemort's orders. He was bound helplessly to Tom Riddle Sr.'s tombstone and forced to witness Pettigrew use some of Harry's blood to restore Voldemort's body. He watched Voldemort regain his human form and explain his disappearance to his followers. Voldemort then engaged Harry in a duel, where he was tortured with Cruciatus Curse. When the Dark Lord attempted to end his life with a Killing curse, their magic interlocked because of their wands and was unable to kill Harry. He was given a chance to grab Cedric's body and return via Portkey when the presence of Voldemort's victims shielded him in battle.
He told everyone about Voldemort and tried to explain what happened but many refused to believe him especially when Harry did not want to go into further detail of explaining how Cedric died. The Ministry of Magic began to dispute Harry and Dumbledore's insistence that Voldemort had returned insisting that Dumbledore was trying to stir up trouble and that he was insane.
FIFTH YEAR
Witnessing Cedric Diggory's murder was very difficult for him, and it was not helpful that he was forced back to the Dursleys on school holidays. To make things worse, someone sent Dementors to attack Harry in Little Whinging. He was forced to perform a Patronus charm to save Dudley and himself. Harry was formally and unfairly accused of performing under-age magic in the presence of a Muggle and was expelled, but thanks to Dumbledore's intervention, it was changed to a Wizengamot hearing. In a further attempt to neutralize Harry, the Ministry changed the time and location of the hearing at the last minute, but he was still able to make it. He was threatened with expulsion from Hogwarts, but Dumbledore had witnesses to help him.
Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge appointed Umbridge as the new Hogwarts Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher so she could spy on the school. She was later appointed Hogwarts High Inquisitor, which gave her the power to change and impose school rules. Every time he spoke out of turn or mentioned Voldemort, Umbridge threw him into detention, forcing him to write with her quill. It engraved the message: "I must not tell lies" onto the back of his hand.
Harry's Defence Against the Dark Arts class reduced to reading textbooks. With Hermione's insistence, he secretly trained students defensive magic, naming their group Dumbledore's Army or the D.A. for short. Amidst all the troubles he was going through, the D.A.kept him busy and feeling positive and was the thing he looked forward throughout his school day. Everyone in the group had felt the same way, elated by the chance to learn the spells and the rebellious feeling they had. Even Cho Chang became a member of the D.A., and had spent a good time with him eventually leading to them sharing a kiss under the mistletoe in the Room of Requirement where they held lessons.
On the same night, he witnessed Nagini attack Mr. Weasley in his dream. This alarmed him and made him realize that the link between his mind and Lord Voldemort's was slowly getting terrifyingly stronger. Dumbledore then ordered Snape to train him in Occlumency to prevent something like that from happening again. Harry did not enjoy the lessons and the intrusive excersises required. During one lesson, Snape had stepped out of the room leaving him alone. Harry's curiosity got he best of him and he looked into the pensieve containing Snape's memories. He was very disappointed when he found images of his father willingly bullying Snape. After finding him redhanded, Snape refused to give him any more Occlumency lessons.
Things between him and Cho ended when Cho had defended her friend Marietta Edgecombe when the girl betrayed the D.A. to Umbridge. The betrayal led to the punishment of every D.A. member which made him furious with Marietta. All meetings and lessons met a halt. There were no more D.A. meetings held at that point. And Harry never again went out to see Cho romantically.
During the final Quidditch match of the year, a very badly beaten Hagrid decided to show Harry and Hermione a giant that he had fragged back with him over his mission. The giant was Hagrid's half-brother Grawp who Hagrid was trying to civilise. He and Hermione promised Hagrid to look after Grawp should Hagrid be forced to leave the school due to the issue of being a Half-breed.
Harry once again catched a glimpse through Voldemort's eyes late in the OWL examinations when he dozed off. He received a vision of Voldemort torturing Sirius and ordering him to get the prophecy. Harry was dead on going to the Ministry immediately to come to Sirius' aid. He used the Floo Network in Umbridge's office to peer into Grimmauld Place to follow Hermione's advice and found Kreacher who told him that Sirius was gone. Unfortunately, Umbridge caught him and his friends inside her office. Umbridge attempted to squeeze information out of him by using Veritaserum. But Snape claimed to have used up the last vial which made her resort to the Cruciatus curse. Just before he was about to be tortured, Hermione managed to save him by luring Umbridge into the Forbidden Forest, explaining that she could show her their 'secret weapon'. Umbridge was dragged off by centaurs for insulting them, saving Harry and Hermione from further trouble.
The Golden trio, along with Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, and Luna Lovegood, used Thestrals to fly to London, ignoring Harry's wish of going alone. They reached the Department of Mysteries and he led them through various rooms in search of Sirius but did not find him. They became doubtful until they came across a room filled with crystal balls, each containing prophecies. One of the prophecies had his name on it. He picked it up and at once Death Eaters appeared who had set up and planned for him to be there. A fight ensued between the two groups, leaving Harry and Neville were incapacitated.Reinforcements from the Order of the Phoenix arrived to help in the battle. In the on-going fighting, Sirius was pushed back by a curse from Bellatrix Lestrange. He fell through a mysterious stone arch to his death. Harry saw all of this and rage gripped his heart. He heatedly ran after Bellatrix and cast the Cruciatus Curse on her, but was unable to kill her.
Voldemort appeared, thorougly disappointed by the failures of his Death Eaters to carry out his orders. For the second time, Harry faced the man who killed his parents. Voldemort attempted to curse Harry, who was too transfixed to even defend himself. Dumbledore arrived just in time to save him, who successfully held off the Dark Lord. In a last resort, Voldemort possessed him with the hopes that Dumbledore would sacrifice Harry in order to kill Voldemort. However, Voldemort was forced to leave his body when Voldemort failed to understand and overpower Harry's grievance for Sirius.
Back at Hogwarts, Dumbledore explained to him the real reason why Voldemort tried to kill him as an infant and why the Death Eaters wanted him to come to the Department of Mysteries. A prophecy stated that he was destined to defeat the Dark Lord, for he had powers Voldemort did not: the ability to love. And he had to get it himself, because it will only expose the prophecy to the one it speaks about. The Ministry finally believed Harry and Dumbledore, and the two were vindicated.
SIXTH YEAR
Harry was sent home to Little Whinging in June for the summer holidays where he hardly left his room and refused meals, still greatly affected by Sirius' death. Dumbledore requested that Harry join him and arrived to pick Harry up on a late Friday in the evening. Dumbledore apparated him to a Muggle village, where Harry was introduced to Horace Slughorn. Before Harry and Dumbledore left, Slughorn agreed to return to the school with a condition that he got a raise and a larger office. Harry was dropped off at the Burrow, where Harry spent the rest of the summer. Just before his sixth year started, he received the pleasant surprise of being given the position of Gryffindor Quidditch Team captain.
In his short visit to Slughorn, he learned of the Professor's fondness for for hand-picking students. Harry experienced this when he was invited to join the Slug Club during the ride to Hogwarts aboard the Hogwarts Express. He left early, having no interest in the club but instead of going back to his compartment, he decided to eavesdrop upon Draco Malfoy, who he suspected to have taken the Dark Mark weeks prior that day. Harry arrived late to the Welcoming Feast due to the encounter he had with Malfoy when he was discovered hiding under his Invisibility Cloak. He was however just in time to hear that Professor Snape had been promoted as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor. He did not find the news great at all, but it gave him a chance to have a career as an Auror because with Professor Slughorn as the new Potions professor, his 'Exceeds Expectations' mark would be considered.
Harry was allowed to borrow an old Potions book from the supply cabinet as he did not have one. He didn't bother to buy a textbook because he knew that Snape wouldn't let him in the Potions class. The book he had gotten curiously contained copious amounts of handwritten notes that helped Harry excel in Potions for once. His newfound skills have also made him won a vial of Felix Felicis as a prize from Slughorn.
Immediately after arriving at Hogwarts, Harry had private lessons with Dumbledore which had been promised to him. He was informed that they would be viewing memories of Tom Riddle and Lord Voldemort in order to learn his secrets and weaknesses they could target and that would help Harry survive and eventually defeat Lord Voldemort. It was about the same time that Harry assumed his Captain's duties and held open try-outs. And by the end of the try-outs, he had found his three Chasers, including Ginny, two Beaters, and Ron as Keeper who had gotten in with Hermione's help. He was thankful of his duties, despite them keeping him occupied most of the time because he had an excuse to dodge Professor Slughorn's Slug Club events.
Harry shared his suspicions of Malfoy with Dumbledore during their lesson regarding the incident in an October Hogsmeade visit when Katie Bell was nearly killed after being bewitched to carry a curse necklace to Dumbledore. But the headmaster did not share the same idea as his and instead told him to focus on their lessons. They focused on Tom Riddle before his stay at Hogwarts that night. He learned that Voldemort was a miserable orphan who used his magic to bully and intimidate the other children in the orphanage.
In lieu of the upcoming Quidditch season, Harry replaced Katie Bell who was still injured with Dean Thomas. His decision proved to be well when the results of the game came out and the Gryffindor team excelled on the pitch. Although Harry was happy for the team, he couldn't help but feel jealous when he saw Dean kiss Ginny after one practice. But he did not let his feelings get in the way and managed the team well. Harry tried to boost Ron's self-confidence on the pitch and pretended to spike Ron's drink with Felix Felicis. He effectively made Ron believe and his bestfriend played a brilliant match. However, Hermione took things seriously and did not know that Harry did not really spike Ron's drink. She acted coldly toward Ron and Harry until he told him that he was just pretending so Ron wouldn't get nervous.
Despite his efforts of avoiding the Slug Club, he was helpless when Slughorn had invited him to the Christmas party. They were supposed to bring dates and because Harry was unable to ask Ginny, he chose to take Luna instead. At the party, he was surprised to find Hermione with Cormac McLaggen. His two bestfriends were still yet to reconcile, and he knew Hermione did this to spite Ron who was not fond of Cormac. Later, he learned that Malfoy was indeed up to something and that his suspiscions were correct after Malfoy was caught lingering about without permission.
Harry stayed at the Burrow for Christmas that year. The new Minister for Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour, payed him a visit and interrupted the Weasley family Christmas. Scrimgeour had been hoping to speak with Harry for months and tried convincing Harry on becoming the Ministry's mascot. Harry immediately refused the offer. He was never one for the attention and didn't want any more stress to burden him. Upon returning to Hogwarts, Harry's lessons with Dumbledore continued. He delved into a memory that proved Riddle killed his paternal family after his fifth year at Hogwarts and a memory that Professor Slughorn had apparently tampered with. Before the night ended Dumbledore assigned Harry to get the real and untampered memory from Slughorn.
Months had passed but Harry had still not acquired Slughorn's true memory and his growing obsession with what Draco Malfoy was up to did not help at all. One March morning he awoke to find Ron under the influence of a very powerful Love Potion. He took him to Slughorn, only for Ron to end up poisoned with a spiked mead that was meant to be a gift to Dumblrdore. The incident helped the three regain their friendship as Harry and Hermione attented to Ron in the infirmary. Ron had survived the poisoning but was not fit to play for the upcoming Quidditch match and had to be replaced by McLaggen.
Lessons with Dumbledore continued. This time, Harry witnessed the young Tom Riddle kill a woman for the famous artefacts she owned, and curse the Defence Against the Dark Arts post at Hogwarts. However, he still could not figure out how to obtain the memory and focused on Malfoy despite Dumbledore reminding him of his assignment. It was Ron who came up with the solution to Harry's dilemma with Slughorn and suggested using his vial of Felix Felicis. In the evening, Harry took the potion and not only finally obtained the memory.
Even though it was after midnight and he was not supposed to be out of bed, Harry immediately went to Dumbeldore with the new memory. It confirmed Dumbledore's idea of Voldemort's Horcruxes. In the week before the final Quidditch match, Harry walked in on Malfoy crying in the restroom. Malfoy acted on his defence and a Duel ensued between the two. With Malfoy on the verge of using an Unforgivable Curse, Harry cast Sectumsempra without thinking. It was a curse he found in the Half-Blood Prince's Potions book and ended up nearly killing Malfoy. Snape had come and healed a fatal wound on Malfoy's chest. The incident earned him Saturday detention and made him unable to play the match. His team did extremely well despite his absence and he discovered that they had won the Quidditch Cup when he went back to the common room.
It was on that moment when everyone was in celebration for Gryffindor's victory that Harry didn't believe his day could be any better. He was proven wrong as he watched an elated Ginny run up to him and give him a kiss in front of everyone. He almost felt like their kiss had lasted an eternity and he didn't quite want it to end. And that was the kiss that their started their relationship that made every passing day for him feel immensely glorious.
Dumbledore led Harry out of the castle in search of a Horcrux. From Hogsmeade, they apparated to a sea-side cave, where Tom Riddle had traumatised two young children from his orphanage in his youth. The cave was difficult to enter with a toll paid in blood, and to get to the island in the center of the cave there was only a small boat, only made to fit one. Once on the island, Dumbledore found a basin that he could not remove the Horcrux from without drinking its contents. Dumbledore extracted a promise from Harry that he would force him to drink, no matter how much he tried to persuade him not to. With this promise, Dumbledore drank, and Harry watched as he was driven out of his mind, but he upheld his promise. When the basin was empty, Dumbledore asked for water which Harry was forced to get from the lake, triggering the Inferi that were waiting there. Panicking, Harry was dragged below, but he was saved by an incredibly weakened Dumbledore.
They landed atop the Astronomy Tower to discover that Hogwarts had been invaded by Death Eaters, but Harry's friends Ron, Hermione, Luna, Neville, and Ginny, who had been ordered to watch the school lest Malfoy accomplish his goal, battled alongside members of the Order of the Phoenix on the floor below Harry and Dumbledore, with some help from the remainder of Harry's vial of Felix Felicis. Dumbledore had stopped Harry from fighting and froze him against a wall, hidden underneath his invisibility cloak, so all he could do was watch. Harry witnessed the death of Albus Dumbledore at the hands of Severus Snape, and Dumbledore's body then plummeted from the tallest tower at Hogwarts. With Dumbledore dead, Harry was free of the spell that petrified him. He immediately set off after Snape, petrifying a Death Eater and seeking revenge. As the Death Eaters made their way out of Hogwarts Castle and on to the grounds, trying to reach the border where they would be able to Apparate again, Harry pursued and faced off against Snape. Harry tried many times to defeat Snape, even attempting weakly the Cruciatus Curse and Snape's own hand crafted spells, all with no effect. In the process, Snape identified himself to Harry as the Half-Blood Prince and escaped Hogwarts with Draco Malfoy and the other Death Eaters. Harry returned to the castle to find Dumbledore's crippled and lifeless body where he was comforted by Ginny.
Harry took the locket from Dumbledore's robes and was beside himself when he learned it was just a plain bit of jewellery, a decoy; there was a note inside the locket that revealed the real Horcrux was taken by someone called R.A.B.. It appeared to him that Dumbledore had died in vain and that they had achieved nothing that night. Following the death of Albus Dumbledore, his funeral was carried out. Harry was disgusted to see that Dolores Umbridge and Rita Skeeter had the nerve to attend his funeral, but he did not want to make a scene at Dumbledore's funeral and bit his tongue.
Knowing that he would have to hunt down Voldemort's Horcruxes and fearing for her safety, Harry took Ginny aside, and broke off their romance. Ginny told him that she did not care about the danger of being his girlfriend, but Harry still thought it was best if the two stopped seeing each other. He then spoke to Ron and Hermione, who committed to forgoing their final year at Hogwarts in order to accompany him, despite his protests.

Harry stayed at 4 Privet Drive for a time, but the Order of the Phoenix needed to evacuate him to the Burrow before he turned seventeen. They sent the Dursleys into hiding first; Harry was surprised by Dudley's gratitude and goodbye. Six out of thirteen of Harry's escorts took Polyjuice Potion to take on Harry's appearance in order to be diversions if they were attacked, despite Harry's protests. Harry also secretly thought that he wished they would respect his body more. Upon leaving, the group was attacked by over thirty Death Eaters. Harry Potter's wand retaliated automatically against Voldemort.
Harry rode with Hagrid on his godfather Sirius' old motorbike, and they were attacked by multiple Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort himself. Harry's owl Hedwig was hit by a stray Killing Curse an unnamed Death Eater sent his way. When Voldemort caught up with them, Harry thought this was the end, but his wand acted on its own to strike out at the man who was both kin and mortal enemy, destroying Voldemort's borrowed wand. The chaos ended when Harry and Hagrid passed the protective enchantments placed over the house of Nymphadora Tonks' parents; Harry had broken several bones and was bleeding heavily.
Taken inside by the Tonks', Harry's bones were mended and his wounds were healed, although he was still completely grief-stricken over the death of his beloved owl. After finding Hagrid safe and sound, the pair took a Portkey to the Burrow, where he found a worried Molly and Ginny Weasley. Harry was relieved to see that Hermione and Ron were fine, but was shocked when Remus Lupin arrived with George Weasley, who had lost an ear. Many amongst those gathered at the Burrow believed that they had been betrayed, but Harry refused to believe any of those he loved would sell him to Voldemort. Harry then stormed outside, where he was struck by a vision of Voldemort torturing Ollivander.
Once settled in at the Burrow, Harry, Ron and Hermione helped prepare the wedding ceremony of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour. The day before the wedding, the group celebrated Harry's seventeenth birthday. Harry received a watch from Mr. and Mrs. Weasley and Ginny gave him a kiss to remember her by during the Horcrux hunt. At the party that night, Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour arrived to release the contents of Albus Dumbledore's will. Harry was left the first Snitch he had ever caught in a Quidditch match and Godric Gryffindor's Sword; Scrimgeour withheld this second gift, claiming that it was a historical magical item and was not exclusively Harry's property. Noting that Harry, Ron, and Hermione were the only students mentioned by name in the will, he asked the trio why this was; the three were unable to give him an answer.
Harry attended Bill and Fleur's wedding disguised as a distant Weasley cousin, Barny Weasley. They used polyjuice potion and the hairs of a Red-haired Muggle boy from the village to disguise him. The reception was interrupted when the Patronus of Kingsley Shacklebolt arrived and announced the Fall of the Ministry of Magic and the death of Rufus Scrimgeour. Chaos erupted and guests started to flee, while Harry and Hermione drew their wands and grabbed Ron before Disapparating to Tottenham Court Road.
There, Hermione revealed that she had planned ahead, packing supplies in her bag, which had an Undetectable Extension Charm on it. Ron changed, and Harry put on his Invisibility cloak, and the three then entered a nearby café to hang low for a while. Whilst at the café, Ron and Hermione discussed the events of the wedding and Voldemort's coup. They unwittingly broke the Taboo curse that had been placed on Voldemort's name when the Death Eaters overthrew the Ministry of Magic, alerting Death Eaters to their location. After a brief skirmish, the trio defeated the Death Eaters, whose memories Hermione wiped at Harry's suggestion. Harry, Ron, and Hermione then found refuge at 12 Grimmauld Place.
Having found no leads regarding the Horcruxes over the summer, Harry discovered R.A.B. during the trio's first morning at 12 Grimmauld Place. Once Hermione remembered that Salazar Slytherin's Locket had been in the house during its occupation by the Order of the Phoenix, Harry summoned Kreacher, and they learned that it had been stolen by Mundungus Fletcher. When the trio questioned him about it, he revealed that it was now in the possession of Dolores Umbridge. For the following month, the trio would take turns under the Invisibility Cloak to watch the Ministry entrance. Formulating their plans, they managed to infiltrate the Ministry. Using Polyjuice Potion Harry transformed into Albert Runcorn. He searched Umbridge's office but did not find the locket. He did, however, take Moody's eye from her door. Finding Umbridge trying Muggle-borns for stealing magic, Hermione managed to trick Umbridge into revealing the locket, and she lied about how she obtained it.
Furious, Harry stunned both her and Yaxley. He and Hermione freed the Muggle-borns who were being held by the Muggle-Born Registration Commission, and Hermione conjured a copy of the locket while they took the real thing. They met up with Ron again and escaped, though Yaxley grabbed Hermione’s arm while they were Disapparating. She evaded him with a Revulsion Jinx, but the location of 12 Grimmauld Place was revealed to him, and they were forced to abandon it as a hide-out. But instead Hermione took them to the Forest of Dean, the location of the Quidditch World Cup.
After securing the locket, the three friends took turns wearing it, to ensure it was not lost. The locket had a negative influence on all of them, straining relations and causing them to all act moodily and inclined to get into petty arguments. They overheard a goblin saying that the sword protected by Snape is a fake. After learning that the Sword of Gryffindor in Snape's office was a copy of the real sword, and that they would have to trace the location of the real sword, the locket's negative energy pushed Ron over the edge. He and Harry got into a horrible row, in which Ron accused Harry of not knowing what he was doing and not being very concerned when they learned that Ginny had been punished for attempting to steal Gryffindor’s Sword for them, along with Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood. Ron then abandoned his friends accusing Hermione of preferring Harry than himself.
Ron’s departure left both Harry and Hermione depressed. After some listless time in which they accomplished nothing, they decided to head to Godric's Hollow, as Harry wanted to visit his parents’ graves, and Hermione had convinced herself that Dumbledore might have entrusted the Sword of Gryffindor to Bathilda Bagshot.
They arrived on Christmas Eve. After seeing the memorial dedicated to his parents, Harry and Hermione searched the graveyard for the Potters' grave and came across the grave of Kendra and Ariana Dumbledore and that of Ignotus Peverell. Harry was filled with regret that Dumbledore had not shared this connection with him. Upon discovering Harry's parents' grave Hermione called out to Harry and comforted him when he reached the grave. After placing a wreath on his parents’ graves, the two then met Bathilda, who motioned for them to follow her into her home. Believing Bathilda wanted to give him the Sword, Harry accompanied her upstairs alone when she indicated that Hermione should stay downstairs. Once there, she questioned Harry in what he did not realise was Parseltongue, revealing herself to in fact be Nagini, Voldemort’s snake familiar. Voldemort had killed Bathilda and animated her corpse to hide Nagini, who attacked Harry. Hermione raced upstairs and repelled the snake, while Harry’s scar burned, alerting him to Voldemort’s approach. The pair managed to escape, but Harry was knocked unconscious and such a close call with Voldemort caused the connection to re-open and Harry had a vision of his parents' demise. And in the scuffle, Harry's wand was accidentally broken by Hermione's Blasting Curse.
After escaping Voldemort, Harry and Hermione camped out in the Forest of Dean, where Hermione healed Nagini’s bite with Dittany. When they were camped out there, Harry and Hermione read parts of Rita Skeeter's biography of Dumbledore which Hermione had stolen from the home of Bathilda Bagshot. Upon reading, Harry felt betrayed, because Dumbledore had not shared this information with Harry. A couple nights later, while standing guard outside the tent, Harry was lead by a silver doe Patronus to a frozen pool into which someone had placed the Sword of Gryffindor. While trying to acquire the sword, the locket attempted to strangle him, but he was rescued by Ron, who had returned through the use of his Deluminator.
After a brief skirmish with the locket's energy, Ron destroyed the Horcrux with the sword. As Ron had saved his life, Harry forgave him for leaving, and after seeing the horcrux torture Ron, explained that he had no feelings for Hermione, who had been inside the tent during the destruction of the Horcrux, was angry with Ron for a longer period.
At Hermione's request, the three friends travelled to Luna Lovegood’s home to question Xenophilius Lovegood. They asked about a triangular symbol Dumbledore had left them to decipher in the book he bequeathed to Hermione. After learning of the Deathly Hallows, Harry, Ron, and Hermione discovered that Xenophilius summoned Death Eaters in an attempt to persuade them to return his abducted daughter. The trio escaped the Death Eaters when Hermione blasted the floor open to show them Harry, but managed to keep Ron's alibi intact by using the Cloak of Invisibility.
Harry soon became obsessed by the Deathly Hallows. He spent hours each day brooding over the possibilities forgetting about his responsibilities. He came to believe that the Resurrection Stone was enclosed within the Golden Snitch bequeathed to him by Dumbledore. He also surmised that Lord Voldemort was abroad in a search for the Elder Wand. This obsession troubled his friends, and with the drop in Harry's attentiveness, Ron's leadership qualities flourished.
After listening to a broadcast of Potterwatch, Harry determined that Voldemort was seeking the Elder Wand. He accidentally broke the Taboo on Voldemort's name. Captured by a gang of Snatchers, the trio was questioned as to their identities. Hermione had hit his face with a Stinging Hex, attempting to conceal their true identities. After Greyback and Scabior realised that they had caught Harry Potter, the trio was taken to Malfoy Manor.
The trio along with Griphook, entered Gringotts with Hermione disguised as Bellatrix by way of Polyjuice Potion, Ron transfigured to look like a foreign wizard, and Harry and Griphook under the Invisibility Cloak. Harry had to use the Confundus Charm and Imperius Curse to facilitate their entrance into the vault, but not before their cover was blown.
Harry hesitantly asked the room at large if they had ever heard of any sort of legendary artefact belonging to one of the Founders of Hogwarts. Luna Lovegood then elaborated on the fabled Diadem of Ravenclaw, pronouncing that a statue in Ravenclaw Tower depicted Rowena Ravenclaw wearing a diadem. Harry, having no idea of what the diadem looked like, was led by Luna to the Ravenclaw Common Room to observe the statue. Harry then told McGonagall about the mission Dumbledore had left him, and she offered to hold Voldemort and his invading forces off, buying him the time he needed to search for the Horcrux.
With one Horcrux remaining, Harry, Ron, and Hermione continued their pursuit of Nagini. They fought their way to the Shrieking Shack. Along the way, Harry witnessed many scenes of horror. On the grounds, Voldemort's Dementors were waiting. Once the trio arrived at the Shrieking Shack, they witnessed Voldemort order Nagini to kill Severus Snape, as he believed that Snape was preventing him from being the true owner of the Elder Wand. Before he died, Snape gave Harry memories to view in the Pensieve and asked him to look into his eyes.
During a one-hour ceasefire, Harry viewed the memories, which showed him that he had inadvertently been turned into a Horcrux himself and that Voldemort had to kill him in order to be rendered mortal himself. Harry also learned that Snape was Dumbledore's man, because he loved Lily Evans, since before they started school. Heavy of heart, Harry courageously slipped off on his own to carry out this dreadful task. He feels ghostly as he strides through the castle's empty walls, feeling as if he already died. As Harry passes the Great Hall, he could not see Hermione, Ron, or the other Weasleys, and no Luna. He felt he would have given anything for one last look at them, but then he thought he would never be able to stop looking. During his way to Voldemort, he saw the corpse of Colin Creevey and told Neville to kill Nagini, if he could. He passes Ginny, who is comforting a small girl, and almost wishes she could sense him, but under the Invisibility Cloak, this is impossible. As he passes Hagrid's hut on the Grounds, and emotionally remembers trips there, particularly rock cakes, Ron vomiting slugs, and Norbert.
Harry then enters the Forbidden Forest, where he managed to get the Golden Snitch open which said on it "I open at the close" and the words to open it were "I'm about to die" revealing the Resurrection Stone within. Harry used it to speak to the spirits of his parents, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin, who offered him comfort before he met Voldemort and shielded him from the Dementors. As Harry approached the Death Eater camp, he dropped the Resurrection Stone. Harry offered no resistance as Voldemort struck him with the Killing Curse, thinking of Ginny before he died. However, the "death" he met was not permanent: the blood Voldemort had taken from Harry to restore his physical form created a deep bond between them, protecting Harry from Voldemort's curse, and his willingness to die triggered protections on the people of Hogwarts similar to the protections he received from his mother's sacrifice.
Also, since he had part of Voldemort's soul in him, Voldemort's killing curse unknowingly destroyed the part of Voldemort's soul, leaving one Horcrux left. Harry entered a state of limbo, where he met the spirit of Albus Dumbledore and the piece of Voldemort's soul that had just been destroyed. After reconciling with his mentor, Harry made the choice to return to the physical world rather than go on to the afterlife with Dumbledore. Harry woke up, but feigned death. He was assisted in this by Narcissa Malfoy, who had secretly turned against Voldemort by telling him Harry was dead. Voldemort then triumphantly disgraced Harry's "dead" body with the Cruciatus Curse then forced Hagrid to carry Harry's body back to Hogwarts, proclaiming Harry dead and demanding surrender.
At first, the surviving fighters were heartbroken, especially Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Professor McGonagall. They screamed at the the Death Eaters in anger but remained defiant. Using his Invisibility Cloak, Harry protected the defenders of Hogwarts from attack. Soon, only Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange were the only two remaining and fighting, Voldemort duelling McGonagall, Slughorn, and Kingsley at once, and Bellatrix duelling Hermione, Luna, and Ginny. Voldemort's fury at the fall of his last, best lieutenant exploded with the force of a bomb, and Harry turned in slow motion to see McGonagall, Slughorn, and Kingsley blasted backwards in pain, and Voldemort directing is wand at Molly. Harry then cast a shield charm to protect her from Voldemort's wrath, revealing himself for the final duel.
Unbeknownst to Voldemort, mastery of the Elder Wand, which he had stolen from Dumbledore's grave, had not been taken from Dumbledore by Snape, but by Draco Malfoy. Thus, when Harry disarmed Malfoy in Malfoy Manor weeks earlier, he became the true master of the Elder Wand. When Harry and Voldemort faced off for the last time, Harry tried to tell him this and about the other mistakes he had made. Harry also asked him to feel some remorse, which Voldemort rejected. Voldemort cast the Killing Curse, and Harry cast Expelliarmus. The Elder Wand refused to attack its master, and the Killing Curse rebounded, killing Voldemort once and for all.
Immediately, Harry was surrounded by overjoyed fellow fighters; Hermione and Ron reached him first, and then Ginny and his other friends. Victory celebrations began, but Harry soon grew weary, and Luna created a distraction so that he could slip away to find Ron and Hermione. They visited Albus Dumbledore’s portrait, along the way he explained everything to his two best friends. Harry decided to prevent the Deathly Hallows from ever being reunited again by keeping the Cloak of Invisibility, leaving the Resurrection Stone where it lay in the Forbidden Forest, and returning the Elder Wand to Dumbledore's grave, but not before using it to fix his wand.
Harry became youngest head of the Auror Office at the age of 27. He helped to reform and revolutionise the Ministry along with Ron Weasley, who also became an Auror, and Hermione Granger, who was ranked high up in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Following the war, he aided in the care of his godson, Teddy Lupin, thus fulfilling his role that his own godfather, Sirius Black, never got to play.
Harry had married Ginny Weasley which was the greatest day of his life. He finally had a normal life and a wonderful family, something he had been wishing for his whole life. Overtime, the couple had three wonderful children whom they raised full of love. Their two sons James Sirius and Albus Severus were sorted into Gryffindor and Slytherin respectively and their only daughter Lily Luna was also sorted into Gryffindor.
