Prefect patrols late at night were rather boring and honestly, Aubrey was quite surprised that she hadn’t been partnered up with anyone. With the recent petrify attacks; you’d think they would have everyone out there walking with someone else. But apparently it didn’t really matter if you were with someone else as the last attack was a double one… The young blond sighed as she patrolled the third floor corridor when she happened to hear something. Her heart begun to race a bit, she sure hoped it wasn’t the person whom was attacking the students. She had actually been attacked earlier in the year, only…. She wasn’t petrified, so it was rather weird that the students were now getting petrified. She just hoped that whoever had attacked her wouldn’t come back and petrify her…
“Who’s there!” the young blond called out as she rounded the hallway of the third floor corridor. She tried her best to be brave, her wand hand was in her pocket, finger wrapped around the wand just in case it was someone who would decide to try and attack her. “You’re not supposed to be out this late you know… especially with the recent events…” she called out, hoping that the person wouldn’t think that she was scared, she could see a bit of blond hair now… but not the full person yet.

Sleep was obviously not happening, at least not that night as the young Ravenclaw made her way through the drafty corridors of Hogwarts castle. Some would have thought that madness, given the current climate of the atmosphere, but Lunette was never one to follow the normal pace of things. On the contrary, she was more like the person who found it much more interesting to think outside of the box. This didn't' make her brave by any means, simply unique. Her intelligence wasn't the only reason she was in Ravenclaw after all, being different and unique also helped in that process. And thus, the evening found the teen silently walking, overly long blonde hair danced about her face with each step.
The idea of being attacked hadn't really occurred to Lou, she knew it was a possibility, it was always a possibility. Right now, the only thing on her mind was the idea of perhaps tiring herself out enough that sleep would sound extremely good afterward. A lap around the school would do it, hopefully at any rate. Dressed in a pale lavender shirt and bright poke-a-dot splattered pants, a pair of indigo colored shoes finished off the look. Being late, wearing the uniform wasn't necessary, and seeing as she had been trying to sleep, it made it unusual. Lou was already considered an odd one, she didn't want to further that claim.
Fair colored eyebrows rose to disappear within her bangs as Lou glanced over her shoulder toward the voice. A small smile came across the blonde's lips as grey eyes twinkled at the motion. "Oh I know" The words were spoken in a surprisingly relaxed tone as she tilted her head to one side. "I couldn't sleep, thought walk would help. So far it isn't" A frown slowly replaced the smile that had held a place upon her features for a quick moment before a shrug happened across her shoulders.
"Oh well, perhaps it will later." Lou's easy going manner mirrored that of her mother to a T, not at all surprising to say the least. "What brings you around here?" Large grey eyes drifted for a moment, taking in the teen's prefect badge with a small 'oh' before her smile returned. "Find anything interesting yet?"

Finally, the young blond was able to recognize the other blond. “Oh Lou..” she said rather surprised. But why would she be? Lou had a tendency for doing rather odd things, at least that was what Aubrey had noticed about her. Aubrey relaxed her grip upon her wand, but didn’t let go of it. For all she knew, someone might decide to try and sneak up on the two of them. “I’m on prefect duty,” she said lightly as she pointed to the prefect badge that was pinned to her robes. Why else would she be out there? After the recent attacks on students and being petrified, well… there was no way she’d be out past hours unless she were on prefect duty.
“Couldn’t sleep? Why’s that?” she asked curiously. She figured she didn’t need to punish or scold Lou… besides it would be nice to have someone around in case someone did try to do something to her. Being with someone was definitely better than wandering alone… It also gave her better odds of not being attacked, or at least she hoped that it would. She glanced down the hallways as if she thought she heard something, but only shook it off as her imagination. It had always been like that ever since she had been attacked that one day… At least she hadn’t been petrified.
