jaedyn loved full moons. he would never be able to understand the wimps who whined and complained about the effects it had on their bodies before and after the actual night. the restlessness, the stiffness, the moods... all it did to the werewolf was make him feel alive. he was never happier than he was around the full moon, to feel the energy of his wolf coursing through his veins, straining to be free. and the night itself? well, absolutely nothing compared. in a few years over a decade the werewolf had changed from a frightened little pup, terrified of the pain and what he was, to a man who fully embraced it and everything it involved. why be ashamed or frightened of such power? you had to embrace it, let it take over so that you could live and control it in turn. newly turned wolves had much to learn.
unfortunately, one of those such newly turned wolves was proving to be... quite a nuisance. jasper greyback just couldn't seem to decide which side he wanted to be on- whether he wanted to invite the power that being a werewolf brought, or if he wanted to cower like a pup and his in the safety of hogwarts like his 'previous' big brother, seyton. that just didn't fly. there was no happy world in between. the boy had to man up, make a decision on what path his life would take, and jaedyn was more than happy to provide encouragement towards one decision or another.
the big issue was the brat's girlfriend. seyton he could be persuaded away from... the filthy mudblood, not so much. she would be a hard thing to get rid of, but necessary that she be shut up for good if they were going to convince little jasper that daddy was right. jaedyn was more than happy to be the one to take the girl out. simply being dumped would be too good for her, she'd still flap her ugly mouth, so a more permanent solution was needed. that was why jaedyn was waiting in the forbidden forest today, leaning casually against a tree, letting the energy from the full moon peeking up over the horizon flood his veins. he could hold off a transformation for a while... just enough until the girl showed up. the trap had been set in the form of a forged letter, telling her that jasper needed her out in the woods, and a quick confudus charm cast upon her when she'd been outside for care of magical creatures had ensured she would get her dates mixed up so that she didn't know it was the full moon. the trap had been set, and the ravenclaw was such a stupid little girl that he had no doubt it would pull off flawlessly. it was time for him to finally knock it into her pathetic brain that werewolves were creatures to be feared, not cuddled. unfortunately the realization would come a bit late for it to do her any good, but hey, at least jaedyn would have a good time.
