AS FOR ME I WISH THAT I WAS

It had ben a very long and tedious day for Jackson. Fridays were always the worst days of the week as far as the Ravenclaw was concerned, classes feeling like they went on forever and when they were finally over he was left with a pile of homework that was due the following week. Jack had this never ending thirst for knowledge, but when it came to the end of the week he found the repetitive nature of the ending weeks to be dull and uninviting. All he wanted was to get all his school work done with and then relax for the remained of the weekend doing whatever he damn well pleased. The seventh year spent a good two hours doing his homework and getting his essays in order to hand in the following week, he even skipping dinner while the rest of his house went down to eat. If he really wanted to eat he could head to the kitchens later; right now finishing this pile of homework was his top priority. Call him a stereotypical Ravenclaw, but he will be the one graduating with straight O's come the end of the year.
As Jackson gathered up the rest of his materials he grunted a bit, green eyes watching as the rest of the Ravenclaws who just got back from dinner, laughing and joking about themselves. Jack! You should have come with us! they said, he just shaking his head as he picked up all his parchments and books. "Well while you were all being a bunch of fat asses I got my homework done. I'd gladly pass up a meal to get it out of the way," he responded cooly, they merely shaking their heads. By now his fellow peers were use to his mannerisms and verbal assaults. But they didn't say anything because he was right. While they will be working on their homework now he would be out doing whatever. Bringing his things up into his dorm room Jackson returned to the common room shortly after, shoving his hands into his pockets before gesturing a goodbye to the rest of his house mates and leaving the Ravenclaw tower.
Luckily for him the Clock tower was not far from the common room, so making his way there took little to no effort. All Jackson really wanted to do at the moment was sit some place and relax. The first thing that came to his mind was to have a cigarette once he got out into the open air but he was in truth trying to quit. It wasn't good for him and he was much more logical then that; to slowly kill himself. But he had to admit, right now it would definitely take the edge off after that long and tedious process of doing homework. There were a few other choice things that could of have the same affect, but with the person he was going to meet he doubted - though hoped - a snog session was going to happen. There was something about his fellow Ravenclaw that caught his eye more then others, but he couldn't place exactly what it was. He climbed the steps to the Clock tower with Aaliyah in mind, he being welcomed by the cool nighttime air. He sighed a bit, shutting the door behind him as he entered.
Listening to the hypnotic sound of the clock Jackson found a comfortable place against the wall for him to lean, one foot placed flat against it as the other was on the ground. He looked out into the horizon, the moon and stars lighting up the resident clock tower. Jackson's arms rested at his side as he tried his best to resist the urge to grab a cigarette - there was no need for that, right? Plus Aaliyah would be there any minute.
