victoire was born the first of the second generation of the 'weasley clan', long before any cousins even hinted at making an appearance. the day she was born was a joyous day indeed, though also a sad one, because it was the first anniversary over her uncle's victory over voldemort and the death of so many of her family's friends, including her loving uncle, fred. the tiny child was named 'victoire' for victory, and 'jacquelyn' for her pureblood veela great-grandmother.

as the infant grew older, gradually cousins joined her. they, however, all seemed to be born in the same timeframe, whereas she was stuck out alone. well, almost alone. there was teddy, of course, a few years older than her and easier to relate to than the mass of toddlers that seemed to flood the family all at once. though not technically family, he was as close as such to her as they grew up together. victoire, of course, got the letter to attend hogwarts (not beauxbatons, as her mother had attended) and was promptly sorted into gryffindor like the proud weasley she was.

teddy, unbeknownst to the stubborn girl, had been told by their family to look out for her, which meant that the two of them spent a fair amount of time together through the years. of course victoire had many friends her own age, and a few boyfriends through the years, but in her later years of schooling she began to realize how sweet teddy was, how charming, how funny... and, the year after he graduated, when he kissed her for the first time, the gryffindor was absolutely elated.

she did well on her newts and got an internship in the ministry after her graduation, all the while keeping up her relationship with teddy (ignoring the smug comments from little cousins who claimed they had seen this coming and demanded babies be named after them). eventually she was promoted through the ranks of the office she'd become involved in, (international magical cooperation because of her mother's french origins), and this year was promoted to assistant head, a job that she has adapted to quite nicely. life can only get better from here.
