They managed to score first in the first task and then second in the second task, though they were quite close to scoring first in the second task as well having crossed the finish line at the same time as Ravenclaw. But he knew that Jaycen deserved first place with him loosing Claire partway through and still managing to find their two loved ones and crossing the finish line. But at least they managed to get a new Ravenclaw champion while Claire was whisked away to St. Mungo’s. Well… she knew what she signed up for right? They all knew what they signed up for when they put their name in the goblet, and now it was up to them to be able to make it through.
“Ready Yori?” he smiled at the young asian girl next to him. He was wearing his Team Dori shirt again, how could he not especially when he knew that his mother was somewhere out in that audience watching him? He then took off, right into the desert zone of the arena. Hopefully they’ll have rather good luck with this task as well. It was rather warm in this area and he quite wished they could stay in this zone and find all of their items… He wasn’t looking forward to the snow zone, that was for sure. He did have a sweater tied around his waist as he didn’t want to sweat in the other zones wearing a jacket, and those were rather hard to wear around a waist. “I think I see something up ahead Yori!” he called out, pointing ahead of the duo. He just hoped it was their item… [/style]

It was starting to get easier now. After a win and a second place in the tasks so far, Yori was starting to get comfortable with the routine. There still wasn't a chance for her to sleep the night before, but she could stomach breakfast now, and while anxious, the hufflepuff wasn't particularly shaking. She was grateful for this, especially at this stage of the tournament. Anyone that wouldn't take them seriously at this point was a fool, especially since they had nearly won first place in the last task. However, that did leave a double-edged sword for them. Less room for mistakes.
As for the second task, Yori had been happy to forfeit first place to Jaycen. It was rightfully deserved, considering he had gone through those trials on his own. The Japanese girl was fairly certain she would still be dealing with some of the stuff over there if not for Dunstable. Luckily, the ravenclaw wouldn't be doing the rest of the tournament alone as well.
When the third task had been announced, the hufflepuff wasn't entirely sure how she felt about it. The environment differences weren't going to be fun to deal with, but she always kind of liked scavenger hunts. She didn't expect this to be a typical one though. It never was with the tournament. "Yeah," Yori had been quick to respond to Dun's question, quicker to follow his footsteps, keeping an eye out for their items in the zones. While it was warm, it wasn't as unbearable as she had expected, though she was looking forward to moving onto the other locations.
"Do you?!" she called out excitedly, "Let's hope it's an item."

Traveling through a desert was definitely nothing Dunstable had ever done before. “I hope it is too!” he said with a smile before the two headed on for whatever it was they saw. Unfortunately… it turned out to be just a rock. “Damn it..” Dunstable muttered under his breath… of course it would be something other than what they needed to find, that would be just his luck. Shielding his eyes again, the young hufflepuff looked out as the vast sea of sand. “Do you see anything?” he asked the his fellow huffleppuff champion hoping that perhaps she could spy something other than a rock. He just hoped that they can stay in the lead for the tournament, something his father would be quite proud of.
