"now all you need is a name . . " he said as he looked into the eyes of the yellow lab. he stood up, his long legs unfolding as he did and he ran his hand through his messy brown hair. he moved through to the kitchen, his ears picking up the sound of the puppy following him and he waved his hand at the fireplace in the living room, the incantation muttered in his head and he saw the flames srpout from the wooden logs at the base of the firplace and he grinned. he heard something and he looked up, his eyes rolling again as the puppy suddenly put up a show of high pitched barking, so obviously a puppy t the person walking to the door and he couldn't help but laugh slightly. he had no idea how his roommate would react to the new addition to the house. he knew it wasn't the done thing, people in their word normally had cats and toads and owls hanging around the house. but no, ted had bough a dog, on a whim, and only because the thing had looked at him. that's now he was going to sell it. the thing looked at him and brainwashed him into buying it. he moved back into the lounge, the kettle on the stove so he could make something to drink, sure it was easy to use magic, but sometimes making it yourself felt better. "raina?" he spoke to the hallway, waiting to see if it was his roommate. there can be only one mikey! of caution 2.0 |
