Arthur was not going to be late as he ran a hand through his blonde hair that was in ever which direction now, and had to consider how he had met such a rather beautiful woman. Yes, Arthur was a ladies man, but he wasn't completely to the point where he hit on almost everyone. Just anyone he saw with a pretty face that was worth while as he licked his thin lips slightly, and let his slim, muscular figure stand up out of the bed. Tugging on a blue shirt with some blue jeans on to cover his lower half. It was actually time to get ready so that he could go meet with Katherine and learn some wand-less magic from her. The non-verbal magic was the next step that he was hoping to help learn with her.
Even for a Hufflepuff, she sure had the looks of an angel, and Arthur almost wanted to compliment her every time he saw her yet he kept himself from doing so. Arthur thought at first she was just normal like everyone else, but found she was incredibly smart for what house she was in. Not that he cared really about houses, but those that did were just dumb in their own rights. Arthur finally just looked at the time once more until he had to get his pants fully on putting on a belt too. Just putting on a brown coat and then let his hands become covered with black gloves then putting on a headband too. Exiting the castle he soon looked back, blinking a few times at what he was about to and didn't think that Katherine would have accepted his offer to actually teach him.
This was the first time he would actually be alone with a girl, but he had that look that told himself he was ready for anything to happen. Keeping his own mind preoccupied with the many events that could occur as his hair was actually combed and his hazel eyes were staring out ahead of him to make sure he was on the correct path towards Hogsmeade. Finally reaching the Three broomsticks as he blew out some hot air causing it to expel and his cold breath wavered in the wind as it then blew away from him. Yes, the trip to Hogsmeade usually wasn't long, but he had walked there this time to just get to the place where he could get away from that dreaded school. Arthur also knew that he wouldn't have to deal with his older brother Deimos.
Once he entered the pub, he was soon searching for Katherine, and having met her only once or twice he really did have a hard time remembering someone's voice. Arthur remembered mostly everything a person told him via their voice and was very good at reciting any number given to him right on the spot. Just an intelligent quality he had picked up when he was younger, but the snow on the ground outside had been rather lovely to him. Sparkling every which direction he had been looking and now started to speak up slowly in his melodic, deep voice, "Hello, Katherine, are you here? he asked around to no one in particular starting to walk around the pub not standing in one place so it would make it hard for him to find trying to see if he could identify Katherine by doing this.

Kat pulled her scarf a little closer as she walked through the snow on her way to Hogsmeade. Usually she would have been practicing in her little nook in the library but of course she was supposed to be meeting someone. She wished she would have dressed a little more appropriately but she hadn’t felt all that cold when she head first left the castle. Then again it had been pretty warm in there in the first place. Either way she hurried toward the pub knowing fully that it would be warm in there, and she would be glad when she was in there. She knew next time she would have to start using the heavier coats, either that or she would have to start using her cloak again. Not that she minded the coat, but given that she couldn’t freely wear it around the muggle world she had never been truly accustomed to using it outside of school. When she went home for the holidays (usually) she tended to just use her heavy coats to keep her warm so her cloak was rarely ever used. Either way she knew that they would be focusing on school work during this meeting anyway, so she could put up with a little cold to help someone learn a new skill.
She had been a bit surprised when she had been approached about teaching him wandless magic, some people knew that it was a skill she had been honing for a few years, and that she was well on her way to non verbal wandless magic, which would definitely proof beneficial later on. Still she had a feeling Arthur had been a bit hesitant to learn from her at first, most people assumed a blonde hufflepuff was incapable of being smart. But she did end up proving a lot of people wrong because even though she wasn’t some complete braniac, Katherine studied hard and she also put in a lot of hard work into everything she set her mind to. But he seemed willing enough to learn from her after their first initial meeting and this was going to be the first time that they actually got anything done. Their first two meeting were about establishing goals and of course to schedule meeting times because even though she used all of her free time to practice, Arthur might not have that same dedication and of course some of their times ran the risk of not coinciding. So she was a bit excited about the prospect of teaching someone wandless magic given that she had never taught anyone anything. Well if you counted helping people practice spells that they were having trouble with, but this was harder than that and she knew it. Either way she grabbed the first available table when she walked into the pub and she decided to wait on Arthur before waiting to order anything. He would be cold too, and she didn’t want to assume he liked something he didn’t so she wanted to wait. Soon enough she heard a voice calling her name and she waved at him, motioning him towards the table.
“Over here” she said, hoping not to disturb anyone.

Arthur had chosen something comfortable to wear as previously mentioned as he took off his hat and what not to discard it into a magical bag he was carrying. Actually he basically folded all of his clothes so they would fit in his pocket just like the bag itself and then finally walked over towards where Katherine was sitting. Smirking as he started to walk towards the table when he heard that heavenly voice speaking to him with it's utter sweetness that almost made him drool. Staying up thinking of Katherine made him slightly uneasy right now, but his shyness wasn't exactly prone to stick around for long if she was just that beautiful. Few words would be spoken as he admired her presence from far away, and sure she looked like a bombshell. There was just one difference he noted, and that was the fact she was pretty brave to teach him.
Considering he could have been like a serial wizard killer or something, but luckily for Arthur was nowhere near that capability unless his brother Deimos got in his way. Starting to walk carefully as he avoided the many patrons dancing around the corner, and rambling on about strange random things. The usual topic among the guys was how they were going to hit on the women at the table over, or who the hottest woman was in the room. Arthur would have immediately said Katherine, but he was looking over to her now letting his eyes rest on hers. That acknowledgement that he met her and soon started to keep his head focused on her. Finally giving her a thumbs up as he took a seat across from her and ordered a butter beer. Yes, he could order one since he was old enough according to standards, and he may have been only a fifth year. The good thing was that he was at least sixteen years old right now, and finally just let his gaze linger for a moment longer. "Hello, Katherine, glad you're here, and I'm glad you could teach me...so where are going to be, one of the rooms to practice this ...art?" he asked her calmly, wondering if she had already chosen which room they would be practicing in, although he knew it wouldn't be for the night since after all he had places to be later tonight.

It was interesting that someone actually wanted to learn wandless magic, most people would argue that it was pointless and unnecessary. But of course Katherine knew that sometimes things happened and you didn’t have easy access to your wand, and that’s when the wandless magic came into play. Obviously if you wanted to sneak attack someone nonverbal would be handy as well, which was the next step in her studies but she had enough of a grasp on the idea of wandless magic that she could teach it to someone else. Either way she was sure that Arthur would be a good student in that aspect, after all he seemed to be rather bright and committed. She didn’t want to judge just based on house, because she was sure that most people assumed given her hair color and her house that she was stupid when in all reality she wasn’t. After all you could very easily have a stupid ravenclaw just as easily as you could have a bad hufflepuff or a nice slytherin. It all depended on the person, not necessarily the house they were sorted in. Too many people relied on that to judge others, and that was a rather large mistake in her honest opinion. She smiled when he took a seat and ordered his drink, instead of a butterbeer she asked for tea because she was actually craving it. She turned her focus back on Arthur when he spoke, so he wouldn’t think she was being rude and ignoring him.
“It’s no problem, I’m sure you will be a good student” at his second question she paused, “Most likely one of the rooms upstairs, because it wouldn’t really be prudent to practice out here”
Normally she would have just decided to practice at school, in her own little nook in the library. Most teachers didn’t mind that she practiced there because not many people ventured that far back into Hogwarts’ vast library. Also sometime she got some of the professors to lend her their empty classrooms after lessons were over, and sometimes she just practiced in her empty dorm. Being a seventh year most of her doorm mates were all around the school doing various activities that sometimes let her spend hours alone. But for the purpose of this first lesson since they were meeting outside of school, a room in the pub would be the best idea. After all they would be away from prying eyes and of course the first few attempts tended to be the hardest ones. She herself had taken months before actually managing to do anything without a wand, and even though it had probably been the most frustrating process in the world, she had always done it with only one person in the room who always encouraged her. She had no problem messing up in front of Caleb because he was her best friend and well there wasn’t much they hid from one another. She pushed the thought aside, focusing on the person in front of her.
“So as soon as you are ready we can head up and get started” she said.

Arthur was convinced that she was indeed incredibly gorgeous and whoever was her boyfriend right now would be in for a treat. He planned on at least taking her out on one date despite the age difference, although it wasn't by much since right now Arthur was technically only one year younger than her and still had yet to get into his sixth year. If he had been born sooner he would have been in his sixth year already. Not that it made it a good thing, but he really did consider some things rather strange with the way things were going on around Hogwarts lately. Even if they did conceal the fact they were practicing wandless and non-verbal magic only made it that much more hazardous for him to misfire the spells he was using. Luckily he was wondering how tough wand-less magic could honestly be and was already flailing his arms around like a maniac composing an orchestra without his wand.
"Well, I hope to learn a lot here, and I'm sure you'll be an excellent teacher. Even if not, there's still your redeeming beautiful features that can surely a knock any guy off his feet," he said to her using one of his many famous classic lines bound to swept any girl looking for romantic lines like that off their feet. Arthur's reputation did precede him and he was very well-known as a player. Yet, he never let that stop him from having his fun with whoever was in the way. Ah well, he was sure this would be a fun challenge to him and he liked the fact he could get away from his brother's torment somehow. Deimos was just a monster that needed to be cornered and put down at some point. Arthur was going to be so glad when he wasn't in school anymore, but at the same time he'd miss the other seventh years that he looked up to.
Katherine was in her seventh year too but to Arthur two years wasn't much of a difference unless she was younger than him. Then it would have been way different and he usually avoids hitting on little girls especially the third years, but fourth years were okay since they were still in their 'girly' phase that didn't understand the whole world of what boys could really be like. Arthur was there to help guide them through that phase, but he finally just focused on Katherine's full lips speaking to him again. "Oh upstairs of course, silly me, we can go now if you'd like," he said slowly standing up and then walked over to help her up if she needed it holding out a hand like a gentleman would. Just making sure he was doing everything those silly books he read said to on how to court a girl.

She knew that teaching wandless magic would be tricky just because it isn’t the same thing for you to learn something as it is to teach it. After all it had been hard enough to actually learn how to do wandless magic, she could only imagine how much harder it would be to actually teach it. But of course she knew that she had volunteered for this, and it would be a fun experience. Plus it would help her practice just how effectively she knew how to explain things, because honestly if she failed to teach Arthur appropriately, well she’d know her limitations. But of course that was the small negative part of her brain speaking, she was pretty sure that everything would be fine. Plus she was certain it would be fun either way. She was brought back from her thoughts when he spoke, and she was between being amused at his words, or concerned. She knew it was typical for boys to hit on girls, it wasn’t something she was privy to on a daily basis given she was only ever with Caleb. But she also knew it was distracting, but of course it was kind of flattering.
“I’m pretty sure it would be more effective if I taught you properly because I don’t think beauty would be helpful in that aspect” she said, “But the compliment is appreciated”
She knew her tone more or less came out amused, because well it was a kind of amusing situation. But of course she knew that she would need to focus because this was a test of her abilities in some way. She waited for the waitress to bring their drinks and give them the okay to use one of the rooms above. Katherine had made sure to let the owner know they were practicing wandless magic, and the owner had been very cooperative She was pretty sure that it helped that they knew she was a pretty calm girl so she had no need to lie about why she needed the room. After all she knew that this would be beneficial not only to Arthur but also to herself. It would allow her to see just where she needed to practice her own wandless magic, and of course it would give her the opportunity to start experimenting with the nonverbal magic. She knew that it would be very vital at some point that she know how to do both, especially because not only was nonverbal magic something that many wanted to acquire it did help you give the element of surprise. Not that Katherine would be attacking some random person with her magic, but no one really knew when danger would arise. Arthur stood up and offered her his hand, obviously to stand up but she paused for a second. Definitely not something she was accustomed to seeing, especially since a lot of girls were very vocal about the fact that they did not need help, and she obviously didn’t need help standing. Would it be impolite to refuse?
“That’s sweet but I can get up on my own, thank you though” she said as she rose from the chair and made her way towards the hall, “I think the room isn’t on this floor”

Arthur tried not to look hurt when she didn't accept his offer to help her stand up, but he was just trying to be a gentleman at least. Contrary to popular belief, Arthur could actually be quite civil when it came to tasks such as this. Luckily, he didn't have to do much to get girls to chase after him and keep his tail tucked in between his legs so to speak. Lastly, he wasn't going to improve his own relationship status by trying to get with Katherine, but before she refused him he kissed the back of her hand lightly. Glad he had gotten that in when he could, and soon pulled his hand away moving out of the way so she could stand up. Luckily he was able to hide the blush that came to his face as he moved out of the way.
Eagerly following after her so they could get started on the training, and was just going to comply with whatever was required of him to actually get along with her. Arthur was certain this session might turn out better than the last one he had attempted to try to do. Finally he could eagerly just let his hand go to stop clenching it as if he were some childish school boy with a fetish for girls with blonde hair. No matter, he would have a chance later on to prove himself to Katherine that he wasn't just here for her looks. As beautiful as she may be in his eyes, but kept his eyes cast downwards for a moment or two.
Casually glancing back up and now seeing that they were finally heading somewhere he eagerly trotted after. Finally just nodding his head and speaking towards her, "Well then let's go, and get started I can't wait to learn this," he said to her.

She knew that he probably thought it was weird that she hadn’t accepted his offer, it had actually been really sweet. But she wasn’t generally used to accepting those types of offers, just because it wasn’t something that happened a lot. After all most boys at Hogwarts had long forgotten what the world chivalry left, and she honestly didn’t hang out with enough boys to even confirm that. The only boy she truly spent a lot of time with was Caleb, and well he was her best friend. When he did nice things for her, or made sweet offers, it was because he was her best friend and that was what you did for your best friend. She was brought back to reality when she realized he had kissed her hand, definitely not something that happened quite often and it left her a bit puzzled. Either way she brushed off the feeling as she rose from her seat on her own, and pushed the chair so that no one would trip over it. The last thing she wanted was to leave the chair in a position where someone could easily get hurt. Once it was securely pushed in, she turned her attention to the hall where they would need to find the room.
She spotted the stairs, and she recalled the owner had said that the room she could use was the second door on your left. That wouldn’t be too hard to find, right? Sure enough it didn’t prove all that difficult to find the room, and it was unlocked as she had been promised. She remembered that the owner had said that it was one of the smallest rooms in the whole place, it hardly ever had people in it because everyone always wanted a larger room with a nicer view of Hogsmeade. It was why she had allowed Katherine to use if for this training session, even though she had a feeling the woman had believed she wanted the room for some other reason. She shrugged out of her coat and she laid it on the empty bed as she tried to analyze what they would need to move for this. She wasn’t sure where she had to begin, she honestly couldn’t even remember where she had begun all those years ago. She remembered something about simple spells, ones that she had learned in first year. Okay so maybe levitating, something she had been practicing nonverbally for a few weeks now. Opening the door would be obsolete since they would be in the room most of the time. So maybe levitating would be their best bet. Deciding that they needed to create a safety ground, probably a line or something that the furniture shouldn’t cross during practice was a good idea as well.
“Okay so we should probably begin with basic things that you learned during first year. When I started to learn my wandless magic, the very first thing I learned to do was levitate objects, something you learn first year” she said, “It’s also the first thing I started to learn how to do nonverbally, just because that’s the next step. So are you okay with starting with that?”

Arthur was very tempted to just be very flirty with her, but that would undermine his efforts with Viviana all the more. That didn't mean he wasn't prone to a little flirtation here or there without any consent from an adult. Arthur knew fully well what he was getting into, but he was glad he really hadn't been named Arthorius like his parent's wanted. That would have lead to years of ridicule and being related to King Arthur. Although, he did like the name he had being related to said king since that made him required to have great expectations. Hopefully, no one else with the name of Arthur would feel strange at all, but he knew of another named Arthur too. As far as he knew that one was alive, Arthur Weasley, the grandfather of all the Weasley's and Potters now. Well, step-grandfather to the potters, but still a grandfather. Fussy little details like that were hard to come by and it was almost a bother to think about.
That had nothing to do with today's lesson and then he merely nodded towards Katherine trying to form the words in his mind as he looked at a random stool within his room. Trying to get out his wand at the same time, but wondered if practicing nonverbal magic at the same time would be just as easy as trying to learn wandless magic at the same time. It was tempting to test out, but he knew it would take years of practice to learn wandless magic at the same time. Arthur was a quick learner though and hoped to achieve something awesome by doing this like showing off to those around him for just being a fifth year. Ravenclaws were smart in general so it was going to be obvious what he was going to do. Taking out his wand an complying with Katherine's wishes, he decided to try the levitation charm on the stool, but to no avail even as he imagined the words within his mind.
Sure, it looked easy, but trying to master this would be hard, although he did manage to make the stool shake as soon as he imagined the words in his mind. Soon he closed his eyes and focused as hard as he could on the stool attempting it again. To no avail of course as all the stool did was shake, but he was concentrating fairly hard at it too as sweat poured down his brows from just saying it twice. "This is a lot harder than it looks," he said calmly to her pointing his wand once more at the stool not caring about how much magic power he had used up already. Almost drained, but he kept on going.
Stubborn, was one of the many words to describe Arthur and soon he was mentally projecting the words again with his eyes open. Wingardium Leviosa were the right words, but he couldn't budge the stool, only a little bit to the point where it would hover for merely a second before setting back down with a thud.

She waited to see if he was okay with what she had suggested, just because it seemed like the most logical step. Katherine wanted this experience to be as simple as possible, and hopefully successful since it wasn’t like she had much experience with teaching. But she was sure that with some hard work and patience on her behalf, along with cooperation from Arthur this would run as smoothly as possible. She ran a hand through her hair as she positioned herself on the bed, she wouldn’t interrupt his efforts until she saw it was necessary. She still very vividly remembered her first experience, given the fact he was making the stool shake, was at least something but she had a feeling it would be easier to deal with the wandless magic before they actually went on to the nonverbal magic. He was a fifth year, he would be learning nonverbal soon enough, but if you coupled that with wandless, it was increasingly difficult. Even though she had managed to do most simple spells without speaking them out loud, and of course she managed to do most spells without the wand now. Obviously she had to say the spells out loud sometimes, but she would get to the nonverbal stage at some point.
“I think you should probably try it without the wand, and out loud” she said, “I started that way, just to test my skills of wandless before nonverbal, since nonverbal itself is difficult. Here let me show you”
She wasn’t trying to show off, but she wanted to illustrate that it was easier to start with the easiest, and it would help her figure out what he needed most help in. She focused on the chair in the middle of the room and muttered the spell, wingardium leviosa, she managed to get it to float in the air a bit, before she settled it back down on the ground. She could do it nonverbally right now, but she wasn’t sure if she should illustrate both of them for him. She chewed on her lip for a second, before deciding against it. It was frustrating enough to not get the thing to levitate, it had to be hard for him to see her make it levitate with more ease. Even though she had been practicing for years now, and well he had done remarkably well. Definitely much better than she had done during her first try, then again he was obviously more skilled than she had been when she had first started this. But she had started much younger, so she had a few more years than he did, and well she basically practiced every moment that she got. This had been something she had just wanted to do always, and the minute she saw success in it, she decided that the only way that she could master both wandless and non-verbal magic was to practice and practice, until she got everything down to a t.
“So my recommendation is to try there, and we can go into nonverbal once we make sure you have the wandless down, does that sound good to you?” she asked.

Arthur was wondering just how he could actually do this without making any dramatic moves with his hands and let his eyes move towards her features again. Yes, he was staring at her a little while she was showing him these cute little moves and suddenly licked his lips gently at the same time. What if there was nothing more he could do by not using his wand, and he nodded towards her. Guessing he would need to say the spell first to make it easier, but he wasn't sure what to do at first. Watching the chair float slightly made him bite his lip gently and he wanted to just kick it over to make it move. Levitation was harder than it looked, and as he decided to try this again he put his wand down. Going with non-verbal magic was so much easier than actually speaking the spell...but he would give this a shot with the wandless magic.
"Well, I'll give this a try, here we go...Wingardium leviosa he said slowly as he tried doing this without his wand. The chair stood still and soon shook a little not even lifting an inch off the ground. Arthur was definitely exerting himself as he kept imagining floating and his face was sweating lightly at the same time. Eagerly trying to impress Katherine at the same time since he didn't want to just go up to her and ask her to show him again. Even as he soon felt his body starting to give way he had to stop so he didn't faint on the spot. The last thing they needed was to stop the lessons to take him to the infirmary at Hogwarts, and that would have been rather embarassing for him in general. Arthur saw the chair land smack down on it's back after he hadn't even lifted it an inch, yet the knockback from releasing the spell had been greater than he had anticipated.
"Don't worry, you look so beautiful no matter what you're doing and you're definitely even cuter when you pout...so I suggest if you don't want me complimenting you more, that you don't look like you are pouting," he said to her chuckling softly at the same time. Of course he wasn't going to give up on that notion because he was soon closing his eyes again casting the same spell making the chair go at least an inch further even as he tried to upright it this time. It didn't nudge a little at all, but he soon gave up as he felt his energy being completley exerted so he would let her have a try at it for a little bit until he didn't feel too woozy as he moved to sit down on the edge of a bed nearby...it looked like the only one in the room unless she had gotten a two bedroom room. Sadly, Arthur saw a good ending to the end of the night either way.

Katherine knew that it would take some practice, it wasn’t something that just happened. Sometimes it was a bit easier if you were prone to wandless magic. But even if you weren’t, wands were considered materials that were supposed to tap into your magic. Katherine loved her wand, but she was also glad that she was capable of using magic without it, because she knew it could come in handy at one point or another. But of course it would take a lot of work on Arthur’s behalf, and she hoped that she could facilitate the process by showing him the way that she had achieved certain things. If she was honest she would have been impressed if he would have managed to do it on a first try, but it would have been a hint that he had probably been practicing on his own. But even so she knew that he would be able to do it as soon as he got a good grip on the idea. She settled on the bed as she watched him, taking her instructions into account. As she watched him focus, she wondered if she looked that way when she had first done this. There was a part of her that thought she probably looked much more ridiculous as a fifteen year old girl staring at a chair wiling it to levitate.
“Well you did better than I did my first time, that’s for sure” she noted as she watched the chair hit the floor.
She rose from the bed once more, if she remembered correctly it took her at least a dozen tries before she even got the chair to levitate from the ground. But of course hers had never ended up on its back, so it definitely showed that Arthur had potential. She walked over to the fallen chair, and set it back up, she could have easily done it with magic but the point of this was instruction for Arthur, and not for her to show off her abilities. She turned her attention to him when he spoke again, and she was a bit surprised at his comment. First of all, because she had been unaware that she was pouting, it had probably been an unconscious reaction of hers when she thought too hard. Second of all she was pretty sure she looked far from cute when she did that. But from her interaction with Arthur so far, she was starting to realize that he was pretty good at complimenting girls. She wasn’t sure if this was something he did on a regular basis, or if he just felt like doing ti with her. Either way she wasn’t sure about it, because they were supposed to be here to help him work on his wandless magic, and probably nonverbal, and he ended up saying things like that. But there was a part of her that was a bit flattered at his comments, she was sure that she wasn’t ugly, but she didn’t spend much time around other boys to actually get compliments on a daily basis.
“I’m sure you say that to all the girls” she noted with a small smile, “But why don’t you take a break, I can show you again, or we can just talk”

Arthur did indeed like complimenting Katherine, not just cause she was pretty but also cause he was rather interested in her for a change. Sure, he did compliment a lot of girls but not as much as he did right now. Yes, that was just his main trademark, but not everyone knew him from a certain standpoint where he could just actually talk with someone without hitting on them. Sure, he did it with every girl, but he didn't like being accused of it like this. Perhaps telling her that he was available would just cause him to be misleading, which is what he didn't want so he just toned it down a bit knowing that talking to her was just the course of action he would want to take for a while.
Yes, he got to spend some time with her too just cause he wanted her to know how in love with her body he was, but seriously. Watching her attempts at moving the chair were slightly heartwarming to him, and he managed to focus enough to just sit there for a bit. Arthur didn't want to be too mentally drained before he took another try at it. After all, he kind of figured magic did require a lot of magic to perform, but to become more adept at it you had to persevere no matter what the odds were. Arthur's body was telling him it was tired, but he refused to give up. Giving up meant he was quitting and that there was no hope. In fact, this drove him to stand up again to try again after she had her way with the chair.
Perhaps even fondling the chair would have been enough for the wood to get Arthur going, but seriously he had to respond right away or else she would think he was thinking it over too much, "You're the only girl I've ever complimented this constantly, Katherine, and your beauty will never cease to amaze me," he said quickly adding on another flirtatious comment making him seem like that suave guy in school that always knew the right lines to say no matter if he was hot or not. Oh yeah, hit her with that line and he was sure to have hook, line, and sinker on her.
Luckily, Arthur knew he had a lot more work ahead of him as he soon just stood idly by to let her have her way with the chair.

She took his lack of response as she should show him again, and she allowed herself to concentrate. She muttered the spell, and the chair levitated easily, just because of all the practice she had over the years. She honestly wished she could be able to levitate the chair efficiently without having to say the spell out loud, but that was the next step. She hoped that she was being instructional enough because she had never done this before. It was one thing to be able to levitate a chair without a wand on your own, there was no explanation involved. But when it was about explaining to someone else, you started to get a bit technical and that of course made things more complicated. She was trying to think of a way to explain how she had managed to do it the first time. It had taken a lot of visualization, she had to imagine what the chair was supposed to be doing instead of just sitting there. She had to tap into the magic that they had inside, and that’s what made the chair finally levitate. It had taken her months to reach the magic without a wand, but once she managed to do it once, the following attempts were much simpler.
“I think the first thing that made levitating the chair easy for me was visualization” she said, “I picture what I want the chair to do, and then I just try to tap into the magic inside, and that’s how I did it”
She hoped that he would understand her twisted logic, it wouldn’t make sense to just everyone. But he seemed to get the concept well enough, after all he had managed to knock the chair over. He probably had better control of his wandless magic than she did. At his words she turned her attention to him, unsure if he was kidding or if he was being honest. She had never been in this situation before, and she had no idea how she was supposed to react. She wasn’t an idiot, she understood that she was pretty, but she wasn’t conceited enough to think that every male she met on this earth would be attracted to her. But just his initial flirting, and even now, he was still continuing it. She wasn’t sure how she was supposed to react, and this was one of two things. He was being genuine and he did find her pretty. Or he was just playing with her, trying to see if she would take the bait. The first one was sweet, but the second option was meaner and she hoped it wasn’t that one because it would make teaching him a real chore. And practicing her wandless magic had never been a chore, it had always been about tapping the potential she held within and being able to flourish in it. So she bit on her lip for a second, as she gave him an unsure look.
“I can’t really tell if you are being serious or not” she noted, “But nonetheless I think we should focus on the magic, and leave those types of conversations for times that could be labeled a bit more appropriate”

Arthur was watching Katherine with awe, but he was letting his eyes glue to certain parts of her body as he realized his brain wasn't doing the thinking right now. Obviously he wasn't able to concentrate with her in the room, but he didn't plan on letting her on to believing that he wasn't being serious. Arthur rubbed the back of his head as he looked away for a moment as soon as she called him out. Uh oh, she was catching on that he was hitting on her, but he supposed she already knew that since he had been doing it so obviously.
Arthur wasn't sure if she was trying to pick a fight with him or not, but he figured it wasn't. There was really no reason for her to start something when she had agreed to teach him. Oddly enough, he was very infatuated with her and hoped he could still concentrate on the lesson right now. Sadly, his focus was lacking and he was unable to even focus hard enough mainly because he had almost tired himself out from trying this. Arthur didn't have as much potential as she did, but he was going to exhaust himself until he got at least one of these right.
Saying the incantation this time as he raised his hand and then closed his eyes to aim it at the chair. Arthur didn't respond to her accusations just yet since he was trying to focus on this task right now and then it shook the chair just a little this time. At least he was slowly getting the hang of it, and it was almost time for him to rest for a while. Staying in the same room with Katherine, however, had his body temperature rising. No, he was the master of his body and managed to keep his thoughts focused on her now...well not anything explicit at least even if his body had reacted a little.
"Okay, so you're suggesting you can't tell if I'm serious, well I am being serious and I think here is good as time as any to take a break," he said to her wondering why she would even think he was joking besides the fact he did flirt with a lot of girls.
