Cadence felt like she was being patronized for something she had no clue about what she had done, but kept her mouth shut. Finally looking around and keeping her eyes on all the lovely clothing adorning the walls of the shop she managed to pick out something nice. Dropping the attitude she had previously, and soon took a more serious note of her surroundings. Now becoming incredibly picky and not wanting anyone to change her mind on anything. Having a shop attendant come up to her and ask her if she needed any help as Cadence was obviously not needing any. "I'm sorry, do I look like I don't know what I'm looking for? Go stuff yourself in that skinny shirt and look pretty for the boys why don't you. Oh wait, you might suffocate from that," she giggled as she said that and then as the shop attendant looked at her in horror gave her a playful tug on the cheek.
"Just kidding, don't get huffed up over a playful taunt like that, besides if you were any cuter I'd let you play with my mouse I have at home," she added absently for no reason, and it was incredibly random that she'd say that out of nowhere. Finally just letting her inhibitions go too, and soon wandered up towards wherever her sister had been placing her hands over her eyes in a mere gesture to attempt to guess who it was. "Come on, you have to be done shopping by now, we've been here for ages, and I'm getting hungry. Oh sis, you know if you ever looked like a chipmunk I wouldn't make fun of you, although you do resemble a badger slightly...haha, just kidding!" she added quickly almost a little too quickly too.
Cadence was bouncing quite literally from one section to the next with no care in the world for anyone she was about to run into, and kept her cool the whole time. Managing to save herself for that one shirt she had seen earlier and now literally jumped at the opportunity to grab it and had already paid for it along with the other items she had gotten. "Come on, we need to goooo.." she said to her for a moment as she tugged on her sister's arm like a little kid for the last time only to pout now.

She did end up grabbing a couple of items she knew would be appropriate for work, she missed the idea of actually dressing pretty casual for work. But obviously everyone was wearing nice clothing now, so she was only allowed jeans sometimes, usually if she was wearing a really nice shirt and nice shoes. But she still knew that she had a large amount of pants in her closet that wouldn’t really be considered work appropriate. She finally spotted a few skirts and some nice dress pants that would be idea for work when she heard her sister’s voice and turned towards it. She watched as she exchanged words with the associate, unsure if she was joking or not. Her sister was known to say those types of things to people as a joke, making it look like she was being completely serious, it was usually amusing but of course it also depended on the person she said those things to. She watched as the attendant looked horrified and then Cadence gave her cheek a tug. It had been a joke, and Temperance had known it, but obviously the woman had not. She bit down on her lip, because it would have been rude to laugh even though she did find it hilarious that people thought Cadence would ever actually be that rude to anyone.
She turned back to the pieces of clothing she had gotten when Cadence turned her attention to her. Her sister obviously wanted to leave the shop now that she had found what she wanted She was just about to open her mouth to let her know that she was ready when she watched as she skipped around. If anyone who didn’t know Cadence saw her, they’d imagine she was a little girl trapped in a woman’s body. And it was partly true but of course she knew her sister had other sides to her personality and if she was honest she loved her bubbly attitude. It always seemed to brighten up her day because she had to be serious most of the time, and well she was allowed to relax and have a little fun when she was with Cadence. After all there was nothing expected from their interactions they could just be sisters who spent time together and then just focus on that. It was why most of her best memories were with her little sister, they always had the best memories and there was nothing that Temperance would trade for them. She turned to Cadence at her badger comment, arching an eyebrow because they shared many of the same features so she knew that she had to be joking.
“Joke all you want baby sis, but we share a lot of the same genetics so believe me if I resembled a badger so would you” she teased lightly.
She made her way towards the cashier so that she could pay for what she had picked out, she didn’t bother to try the clothes on knowing fully she could fix them if they were too large or too small. Or she could just come back and exchange it, even though she was certain that option wasn’t very appealing. She smiled at the cashier as she got her change back, because if she was honest she was hungry too and she turned her attention to Cadence who literally was pulling her out of the store.
“Okay okay we are going now, I’m hungry too, don’t worry” she said with a laugh.

Cadence was just idling by the front of the store as she waited for her 'dreary' sister to finally follow her out along with the way she swayed her hips as she walked out. Mainly to get the guys looking at the two of them as she turned around to wink at them all playfully, and then batted her eyelashes innocently at her sister for a moment. Putting a finger up to her full lips making it look rather persuasive with that she could imply as she pushed them forwards slightly. Cadence was definitely a tease when it came to showing off her assets, but she figured that her sister would have shown more of her body compared to her. Something was up and she planned on getting to the bottom of who she was dating.
Well, that was Cadence's assumption all the time anyways, but she knew it got annoying when she did that all the time. So instead she pouted slightly when she smirked towards her, "I know you think steady wins the race, but sometimes the person who gets there the fastest usually gets all the glory. Despite that not being a good thing in some cases, if you know what I mean," she said with that innocent, blank stare on her face for a moment or two. Finally just working up the courage to finally take her eyes off one of the cute guys giving her a want-on look like a lost puppy trying to fetch a bone. Nah, she wasn't going to give in to her primal urges anymore, and was going to play hard to get for a change. Usually always doing that, but she liked the challenge some guys provided when they thought they could go all the way with her.
Finally she spoke to Temperance again, "Well, joking aside, where are we gonna eeeaaat?~" she choked up seriously towards her, and then started to tilt his head softly at her for a moment. After all, Temperance had said she was getting hungry in the first place, and right now Cadence was just following suit. Even though she basically wandered the streets all day long and usually 'window-shopped' she rarely ate any of the food since she preferred making her own within the store. Sometimes in front of customers while selling wands just cause she couldn't wait for a snack.

She watched her sister with an amused expression as they both made their way out of the shop. She wasn’t surprised to see that two guys were already staring, it was a frequent occurrence for both sisters. Obviously Temperance wasn’t as big at showing that she noticed that attention being shown to her, she preferred to just not deal with it. Dating had never been her priority, sure she had dated a few guys in school and through the years but no one had seriously stuck around. She knew that she was too devoted to her job and that most people found that annoying. But it wasn’t her fault that not everyone enjoyed what they did as much as she, after all why go into a specific career if you weren’t going to love it. It seemed rather ridiculous in her idea, she knew that Cadence loved everything about magic and wands and that’s why she had convinced Ollivander to sell his shop. Temperance loved the idea of catching dark wizards and making the wizarding a safer place, it’s why she had become an Auror. It also helped that she was handy with a wand, and could very easily subdue people.
“Steady only wins the race at some points” she pointed out to her sister “And you know I’m only competitive when I have to be, like at work”
With a certain moron I have to deal with on a daily basis. Obviously she didn’t have to say that out loud, the subtext had to be there if Cadence looked hard enough. After all she Tempe was sure that she had told her sister about the dreaded Charles about a million times already. She wasn’t sure what it was about him that got her all riled up and competitive, all through Hogwarts and even when they both became aurors she always had to compete against him. Sometimes he won, sometimes she did, sometimes neither of them did but the competitiveness was always there. She knew that it was bad that she was so competitive with one person but she just couldn’t help it. It was in her nature to always be at odds with him, her friends had often said that she was like that because she was attracted to him. This usually led to Temperance getting all flustered and saying that they were being preposterous and that she could never be attracted to someone as cocky as him. There was a part, very deep inside (like way down deep hidden where even she wouldn’t want to go) that thought they were right but she kept that super buried where it was supposed to be. She focused back on Cadence as she asked what they wanted to eat, and if she was honest she wasn’t sure what they should eat. There were a lot of possibilities, maybe getting something from the Leaky Cauldron to just going back to her house and making something there. It all depended on how hungry Cadence was, and what she was in the mood for.
“I’m not sure, do you want to get something around here or just head back to my place and I can make us something there” she said, “Whatever you want”

Cadence turned to her sister for a moment with an alluring glare that put anyone at ease and made sure that she noticed it for a moment. Waggling her finger at her like their mother would and speaking in a highly irritating voice for a moment that would resemble a wicked witch's if they had been near anyone of such an age Cadence would have been turned into a newt by then, "Now listen here you youngin', don't go gettin no ideas about eating unhealthy food. We need to keep up a strict diet so we don't wither into beanstalks like many others do," she said to her as she put her finger down, and then chuckled softly at that letting her voice return to normal as she added something. "Oh, you know I'm joking by the way, I like to eat a lot and my metabolism always keeps up either way. Besides, as for hunger, well it can go down a road to non-hungryville. Although right now I'm craving something that's not burnt, so perhaps your place will be good," she said calmly.
Even as they walked past the Leaky Cauldron entrance and had to voice her displeasure very clearly on her way by of their food the last time she had been there. The place was dreadful and reminded her of a crypt the last time she ate there. Not one of her favorite places, but she would go there on occasion to test how good the food is compared to the last day. Usually not by much, but it wasn't burnt anymore since she complained about it to the management. Whatever, she didn't care at this point and for all she cared the rocks out here tasted better than burnt food. "That tavern really needs to learn how to cook their food properly. I'd rather eat our poor father's cooking than that restaurant's pot-boiled rocks they like to serve. Probably to weigh down their customers so they can never leave again," she chuckled at the thought and smiled innocently towards Temperance as she complained about the food for a minute. Blushing when she realized what they had just passed and looked innocently at her big sis one last time before mumbling within ear shot so she could hear it. "So a straight answer, would be..YOUR COOKING!" she said the last part with enthusiasm and did a cheer leader poise in the air letting her voice reverberate around them no doubt trying to embarrass Temperance just a little.

Temperance was caught between wanting to laugh, and just staring at her sister because honestly what was coming out of her sister’s mouth was kind of funny. Especially when her sister said the word “youngin” now that wasn’t something you heard in day to day conversation especially from Cadence. She knew that her sister was joking because she was pretty sure Cadence’s metabolism was what kept her as thin as she was, even though she did quite enjoy the sweets. Temperance’s metabolism while high, didn’t work as easiy as Cadence’s but she still liked to indulge from time to time. After all what was the point of life, if it wasn’t to indulge in sweets from time to time. It wasn’t like she was going to turn into a doughnut or something of that degree from eating a piece of chocolate every now and then. Plus sometimes you just needed sugar, and candy was the easiest way to fix that. She smiled at Cadence when she said that she was craving something not burnt, it was often a complaint of Cadence’s that the food in the Leaky Cauldron was always burnt even though she was sure that wasn’t always the case. Not that Temperance ate there very often, sometimes she found herself venturing to the muggle world for food, but most of the time if she wanted to eat, she just ate at her place.
“I don’t get what you have against the Leaky Cauldron’s cooking, I am pretty sure it isn’t THAT bad” she said with a smile, “After all if it was as bad as you say, they wouldn’t get as many people as they did”
Of course she had a feeling it helped that given that it was the way to get into Diagon Alley if you didn’t want to use other forms of transportation. Her sister kept on about the food, and she said nothing as they passed the offending tavern. She didn’t say anything, knowing that Cadence would figure out that they had just passed it, and it took a minute but she seemed to get it. Cadence threw her an innocent look which only made her want to laugh, as they kept walking. She nodded at her sister’s enthusiasm over her cooking, even though she was sure she wasn’t that good. Plus her sister just liked being loud sometimes, like she was being right now, but after having dealt with Cadence most of her life she knew what to expect from her baby sister. This type of behavior was normal, and Temperance loved her either way. Even if she was the quieter of the two, though most people didn’t get how the two sisters could have such vastly different personalities. But when they figured out that there was a pretty large age difference between the two, they seemed to understand it a bit better. Either way she just rolled her eyes at her sister as she beckoned her in the general direction of her apartment. She would have apparated, but it wasn’t that big of a deal to walk to her place, it was only a few blocks away.
“Okay my cooking it is, though I can’t promise anything too fancy, I’m not sure what I have at home right now” she said.

Cadence was merely watching her sister with pride as she sauntered on beside her just idly musing over the fact that she was trying to defend the leaky cauldron. "Maybe cause their customers are too drunk to care? They probably end up throwing up due to the food instead of the drinking, but I could be wrong. I've only at there once and my food was undercooked. I'm the pickiest of eaters though and you know this...I don't like too much carbs or starch in my diet," she said calmly as she raised an eyebrow with an alluring look to her face now. Giving her that innocence she so showered herself with pride and joy in that could make anyone melt from just staring into her beautiful eyes.
Surely, her sister had such a face, but Cadence rarely ever used any other face besides the one she was given since birth with that adorable smile. No guy would be able to resist her if she had her way with them, but it was ironic that her stomach growled at the same time Temperance mentioned cooking for her. Cadence trusted her sister more than anyone in the entire world, and would even jump off a bridge, no that was too extreme. That wouldn't happen every anyways. Finally getting away from the wand shop today was such a brilliant thing, and Cadence knew not too many young wizards would be coming there anytime soon. Surely, anyone with a broken wand would come there too, but she was only good at helping people find the right wand. Although, yes she had to do extensive research on wand lore to admire a person's feelings towards the wand and how that wand loved their new owner.
Cadence always smiled when she remember her wand lore and looked at her sister's wand for a moment. "Well, I'm not the only one that's happy to see you sis, I think your wand is telling you that it enjoys being with you ever since you first picked it up. Yes, I can tell just by looking at it, and do you polish it too?" she asked, as her eyes held that glint that would scold her if she wasn't taking proper care of her wand. After the food they would both eat together it would only be a matter of time before they were hungry again as Cadence merely tilted her head towards her a little.

She had only eaten at the Leaky Cauldron a few times, it wasn’t like she frequented the place often. It wasn’t close enough to the Ministry for her to eat their regularly, if she was honest her apartment was much closer. And there were a few muggle shops around the ministry that actually had decent food. Temperance didn’t mind getting food from there, obviously she could just as easily apparate to get some decent food as well. So maybe Cadence was in fact being truthful when it came to the quality of food from the Leaky Cauldron given that she worked in Diagon Alley and dealt with it a little more. But it was Temperance’s motto to give places the benefit of the doubt. But it was different because Cadence was a pickier eater than she was. Her metabolism was honestly fast enough that she didn’t have to be all that picky about her starch and carb intake. She liked to be able to eat a lot of bread, and just things that were technically loaded with carbs and starches because she could. It wasn’t like she was overly worried about her figure in the first place, just as long as she didn’t eat a lot, and still managed to work out enough she would be fine.
“That’s mean Cadence, but then again I don’t eat a lot there so who knows” she said with a small laugh, “Let’s just agree to disagree when it comes to the leaky cauldron”
She knew that her sister had that really sweet look down, she was sure that it worked for her a lot. But of course given that she had seen her perfect it over the years, she was a bit immune. Temperance herself had a similar look but she never felt the need to use it just because she was pretty good at getting things to go her way when she needed it. Not that it was something she needed to do quite often just because she usually worked hard for what she received and it was usually okay with her to get whatever it was she got. Her mind started to wander at what she had in her apartment so that she could cook something good for Cadence, and she had to make sure that it wasn’t too fatty or full of carbs or else she was sure her sister wouldn’t want it. Not that Cadence had ever said no to anything that Temperance made for her, but there was always a first time for everything. Just then, she noticed that Cadence had found her and was now examining it. She knew that Cadence had to study wand lore to be able to even own the wand shop, and she listened as her sister talked about her wand. She bit back a small laugh, just because people who created wands always said that wands had feelings. She knew that they probably did, after all they were used to channel one’s magic and if they didn’t have feelings how did you explain that sometimes wands backfired on some people.
“I try and polish it as much as I can, but sometimes it isn’t very thorough” she said, “Believe me, knowing that my sister knows all about wands, makes me want to take care of it better than other people would. Plus it’s been my companion for a long time, it’s special to me” .

Cadence was just looking at Temperance like she was crazy, but would just sit there contemplating her answer. Yes, she could decide if she wanted to acknowledge whether or not she wanted to enjoy the Leaky cauldron's food as they passed by it. Walking past that place would not be able to get her somewhere fast, however, she was glad it wasn't too cold out yet. Licking her lips again just to keep them wet thanks to the dry weather, but she wanted to keep her own mind occupied with what they could have.
Cadence wasn't going to be caught dead with that stuff in her, but she smiled at her sister rather dear-like, but she wasn't going to kill her with her oversweet stare. Finally just letting her eyes roam over towards the place they were headed to. One day she would eventually be able to just let go and enjoy a brisk walk in the winter. It was really hard to think of anything awesome to say now that she was in a good mood while getting away from that place. "Yes, we will just disagree on that, but next time anyone mentions going there, I'm turning them into a newt," she said coolly expecting a cool retort from her sister that she knew would be coming anytime soon. Surely, anywhere they ate, would be great, but right now she was starving as she continued to follow her sister.
It couldn't be that far to her place could it? After all, there had to be something to be done about the way they both swayed on by many of the guys just sending out their usual wolf whistles to the sisters they couldn't ever touch. Well, Cadence was fine with the touching, but she wasn't going to make a habit of showing off wherever she went. Right now she was just spending time with her sister and enjoying every minute of it, "I think, we could just do with your cooking for a long time, and I'm glad you have cause I wouldn't want to take it away from you. Don't give me that look, you know I would," she said to her expecting her to give her a puppy dog look, not that she would really need a wand in the first place.

She kept walking forward as her sister contemplated on what she said. She knew that it took a lot to change Cadence’s mind about something, once she deemed it so. It was a quality she admired about her sister, and even though she shared a similar quality hers wasn’t as resilient as it was for her little sister. Maybe it was just how she viewed the world, but there was something that made Cadence’s beliefs so solid that it was hard to change them. Either way she knew that it was best to just agree to disagree as her sister suggested. And she tried not to laugh at her sister’s comment, she very much doubted that she would actually turn anyone into a newt. Though she did make a mental reminder to not mention the leaky cauldron for at least another week, because she wasn’t sure if her sister would actually turn someone into a newt. She probably wouldn’t, but it was better to be safe than sorry. She looked over at her, and she knew that she was probably expecting a scolding remark, and she probably would have had a good one, but the fact that she was hungry and a tad tired was messing with her head a little.
“I’ll make a mental note to let everyone I know to not approach you and even mention the place” she teased lightly, “Wouldn’t want any of my coworkers to get turned into newts”
Finally they rounded the corner to her apartment, and she was glad because she really was starving. She opened the door, and let her sister walk in before shutting it behind her. Finally some peace and quiet away from all of the people who wandered around outside. Temperance had learned how to deal with the idiots who thought it was cute to whistle at her when she walked, if only they knew that she could very easily hex them into the next century. She had been told many times that she looked too soft to be an Auror, there was something about her face that made her seem innocent. Obviously that made people underestimate her, if they thought she looked weak then they didn’t fight her as much and it made her job so much easier. Though it did mean that some of her coworkers didn’t take her seriously, something that irritated her to no end because at 30 years old she had long ago paid her dues and deserved her position. But people were ignorant, until they saw her in action, then they just felt stupid. But either way she was now in her apartment with her sister, who never underestimated her or judged her either. She smiled and nodded when her sister said that it was a good thing that she took care of her wand, or else she would take it. She was well aware that it was a possibility, but of course there was a part of her that knew that if she gave her a big sister I’m innocent look she wouldn’t do it even if she was bad with her wand.
“Sure you would, just like I would take something of yours away” she said with a small laugh, “Now what would you like to eat?”

Cadence was just smiling at her sister, and nodded to her in return. Yes, that was true, and almost made her laugh in response. Cadence was good at avoiding certain people like those that would try to comment on her ass or be rude about her appearance in general. After all, she knew she was hot and a goddess that deserved to be praised...much like her sister in a way. Yes, she could look innocent, but if you were to cross her, she'd flare up in an instant with a gaze that could set steel to boiling point then melt to nothing on the spot.
Forgetting about that, she soon took a quick step inside the house and made sure to hear the door shutting behind her until she took off her coat. Considering it was rather warm out, but she hadn't meant to actually make a comment on her at all, however, she gave out a chuckle at the fact she wasn't going to let her coworkers talk about it while she was around, but it would be rather disappointing if she turned a handsome prince into a frog or newt. Cadence had many animals she could change them into, but she wasn't going to be mean about it in any way at the moment. Glad she had this conversation with her sister until she forgot she was hungry, but at that moment her tummy started to rumble again. This was when she had to make another hard life changing decision.
"Oh I don't know what to choose, I want a nice, hearty warm meal that I can chow down on like a pig without making too much of a fuss over it. Whatever you want to make sis, I can't think of anything at the moment, I just know I want some of your good cooking...even if I get an upset tummy after from eating too fast," she calmly replied as she moved to sit down smiling in a very charismatic way.
