Quidditch had been going well for Georgina Harper, but there was even times when the famous Holyhead Harpies Captain needed a break as well and those breaks were when she would go out on a luncheon with her good friend Raina. The two of them had met a couple of years ago at St. Mungo’s. Georgina was recovering from a Quidditch injury and Raina from an injury with her Auror training. But the two had hit it off, both interested in learning about each other’s careers as well as getting to know each other. So after the fateful time spending time at St. Mungo’s the two had decided to start having luncheons to chat, get to know each other and become friends, which they had become closer over the years because of it. It was always nice for her to have a friend that wasn’t on her Quidditch Team after all.
So now Georgina was sitting at Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor waiting for Raina to show up so that the two of them could go up together and order their ice cream. She had on some rather warm clothes as it was beginning to become winter and plus the heavier clothing hid her identity better than summer clothes as she didn’t want their luncheon to be disturbed by a bunch of her fans. She loved the time that she got to spend with Raina and she didn’t want it cut short just because of her fame. Though it would probably be mainly adults walking about in Diagon Alley as kids were at school this time of year, which made it even easier for Georgina to be a peace when spending time with Raina.
So what was Georgina doing to pass the time as she waited for Raina? Well reading the Daily Prohphet of course! It was pretty much the only thing she read now, not wanting to look for books and accidently get suckered into a romance book. It would only remind her of her past too much and how she used to be in love. In fact, the one she was in love with she ended up seeing not too long ago when she took a trip to Hogwarts. It was painful to see him as she had been purposely avoiding him ever since the incident after she got out of Hogwarts. She was of course going to tell Raina of how she ran into him. Raina knew they had a rocky break-up but Georgina had never told her the real reason why her and Seyton broke up. She actually hasn’t ever told anyone the reason why they broke up.

There was a skip in her step as she walked towards the decided destination: Florean Fortescue's. While many others would cite her as being a bit of a loony bin for going to an ice cream parlour when winter was nearly upon them, Raina didn't really see what they were all fretting about. Having spent a large portion of her childhood in glacial Moscow and then her student years in chilly Norway for her education at Durmstrang Institute, the young Auror often felt that the winters in the United Kingdom was temperate, at worst. However, it had always been difficult to convince these Brits of otherwise. They seemed hellbent that winters were plenty cold here. Having no further argument to these, Raina usually let the matter go. People only knew what they were used to, and as a traveler, she was well aware of that fact.
It was a rather nice treat that Raina was able to meet up with her good friend, Georgina. Their friendship had had a rather strange start, but nevertheless, it was a good story and Raina was always up to tell a good story as well as being in one. So as she ambled along the roads, humming a tune under her breath, Raina was in a decided eccentric getup so to speak. It had been long ago decided that Georgina, the captain of the famous Holyhead Harpies could not simply walk around unnoticed in a wizarding area. So to rectify this problem, they had decided that they would meet up in disguise. Well, the disguise was really meant for Georgina, but Raina liked the idea of being in disguise too much to give up the opportunity. Not to mention, it was a spot of fun that Raina rarely got a chance to partake in. As a fun-loving girl, it simply would not do. Besides, it wasn't fair to Georgina if she was the only who had to be disguised for their meetings.
And so she arrived at her destination adorning a large brim hat and a light cloak that covered her true disguise: a cute little gardener outfit complete with overalls. Flowers were tucked into her pockets along with a small trowel. Why was she carrying these rather innocuous and superfluous items around? The mood hit Raina to bring it. Flowers just seemed like such a good idea at the time. So, it wasn't really a disguise, or not a good one at all, but what she wore underneath was just for fun and purely for her own amusement. Her attire was unlikely to attract attention to them. In fact, if anything, her attire was only going to attract attention to herself and not her lunchtime companion. Or at least that was the justification in her mind. Raina couldn't really understand why these Brits were quite so whiny about the cold. It wasn't that cold here, and definitely not yet.
“Hello!” she greeted happily as she seated herself across from her friend. “How are you today?"

“Hello!” Georgina peeked up over her copy of the Daily Prophet and smiled at her friend Raina as she sat across the table from her. “How are you today?” she heard Raina ask her quite happily. She knew Raina would be happy as she always was when the two of them met up. Georgina was as well and tried her best to show it as she smiled a bit more, but there was other events that seemed to dampen her mood. But at least it brightened up a little with Raina appearing. “Could be better, but I Could also be worse,
” she said lightly as she folded up her copy of the Daily Prophet and laid it on the table before her. “ How about you? I hope that you’ve been doing well lately, it has been a while since we’ve last met up hasn’t it?” Would Raina notice that something was bothering Georgina? She wasn’t sure, but if she did Georgina would probably tell her in hope to help her figure out what she should do in this situation. She was really glad to have met Raina that fateful day at St. Mungo’s even though they had been in their for reasons they rather not have been, but then again if they hadn’t been they never would’ve met. And Georgina rather enjoyed Raina’s company, plus Raina never got all fangirlish around her when the two were together or asked her to meet one of her friends that happened to be a fan of hers. It was quite nice actually to have a normal relationship with someone that wasn’t on her team. ( I'm soo soo sooo sorry that I completely forgot about this thread of ours. >.< )[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Sitting down, Raina bounced herself into her seat, clearly conveying her chipper mood. There was something about seeing her good friend again that cheered her up. It had been quite a while. Between her transitioning from being a trainee to a full-fledged Auror and Georgina's busy practice schedule for the incoming Quidditch season, there was a very little time for them to meet up for their chats. Raina was very glad to have been able to clear sometime in her schedule and that Georgina had been able to do the same for this meeting to take place. It really had been far too long since they had been able to do this.
It seemed that Georgina seemed to be in a darker mood than she normally was when they met up. Since it was such a bit of a strange occurrence, Raina took note of it but didn't mention it unless she decided to bring the subject up. However, she hardly needed to worry since her response soon confirmed her suspicions that something was wrong. “Oh no. What happened? Is everything alright?” she asked sympathetically.
“How about you? I hope that you’ve been doing well lately, it has been a while since we’ve last met up hasn’t it?” “Oh, just the usual,” she replied, waving her concerns aside. “Just the usual busy Auror schedule. If I'd known that it was going to be this much work, I would've ” she said jokingly. There was little that Raina loved more than her work. Although it may not always be the best pay nor the best hours ever, it was very rewarding when they managed to track down and imprison a dark arts practitioner. “It really has been a while. We should to do this more often. It's so much fun,” she said, pointing at the large brim hat atop her head with a bright smile.

Georgina was right, indeed Raina would realize that something was wrong, but how was she to tell her friend what was going on? After all, everything just seemed so complicated to her. “It really has been a while. We should to do this more often. It's so much fun,” Georgina nodded in agreement as she folded up the Daily Prophet, she needed more days like these with both Raina, Benji and Sammy, it seemed that only those three kept her sane, even her brother had a tendency to drive her insane as well. “Perhaps we should make it a weekly thing? I wish we could see more of each other, and I’ll definitely have to get you tickets to the World Cup,” she said with a soft smile. Of course she would get Raina tickets to the World Cup just as she does with Benji, no need to for Sammy seeing as they were on the same team and the ones going to the World Cup.
“Though I do need your advice on something…” she started off before taking a pause to figure out how to explain it to her. “Well I guess for starters, do you remember me telling you about Seyton Greyback? The boy I had dated back when I was at Hogwarts?” she asked lightly, not really sure how much of Seyton she had told Raina, or how long ago she had told her about him. She was pretty sure she did tell her about him, after all the two of them were pretty close.
(( omg omg omg omg soooooooooooooo sorry about the wait. >.< ))

If she were entirely honest with herself, Raina was rather surprised with herself at just how much she missed seeing Georgina. True, they met under such completely absurd circumstances, but Raina just liked to think of it as a strange and wonderful coincidence. “Perhaps we should make it a weekly thing? I wish we could see more of each other, and I’ll definitely have to get you tickets to the World Cup,” Hearing Georgina’s suggestion, Raina nearly burst with excitement. Although they met under rather strange circumstances, the Auror treasured their friendship and their few meetings; so to increase their frequency excited her like less else. Even though they did not meet that frequently, they were surprisingly close friends. “A weekly thing sounds like a fantastic idea!” she replied brightly, practically bursting with delight. “And I don’t need to be bribed to see more of you,” she teased, “but I’ll gladly take those World Cup tickets.”
As the conversation took a more serious turn, Raina sobered up a bit. When Georgina paused in her speech, Raina restrained herself from pushing her friend too hard for information. After all, Georgina came to her talk about it, she would get to it into her own time, or so Raina sincerely hoped. Thankfully for the overexcited and slightly impatient Raina, Georgina soon continued with her tale. “Well I guess for starters, do you remember me telling you about Seyton Greyback? The boy I had dated back when I was at Hogwarts?” Raina nodded in response, remembering vaguely who Georgina spoke of. The Russian couldn’t imagine Georgina requiring advice on something good when Seyton was involved. From what she recalled, Georgina’s retelling of her and Seyton’s history was rather... painful. However with a surname like Greyback, it’s unfortunate for him that his family name preceded him, especially since Raina was an Auror. After all, Fenrir Greyback was quite notorious for his malevolent and vicious crimes.
“He was sort of the reason why you were at the hospital, right?” she asked to clarify. Despite the fact that Raina greatly appreciated her education at Durmstrang, after all, she would be a completely different person if she hadn’t gone to Durmstrang, there were times when Raina wished that she had attended Hogwarts with Georgina. For one, it would definitely have saved Georgina the trouble of having to remind her of her classmates back at Hogwarts. [/blockquote]
