He had always liked the courtyard - there was something about it that was really quite appealing even in thecurrent, more chilled weather. He wasn't a fan of the cold - it made him ache and feel old far beyond his years. But still, there wasn't an awful lot he could do about that, other than wrap up warm and hope for the best. He really didn't like the cold though - it was so very off putting when one wanted to be bouncing around and playing rape. OK, so maybe playing rape was the wrong idea. More like...jumping on them, pinning them down and...yeah, it was still play rape, no matter how he tried to word it. Plus, he was known for screaming rape when people did exactly the same to him. It was one of his many little quirks that you either loved or hated. He was not going to lose it any time soon though - he liked being all happy and hyperactive.
Now, when he wasn't bouncing around and screaming things at the top of his lungs, he was usually found singing as loud as he could. It was no secret he was loud and oh so very bubbly. In fact, he was willing to put money on that was why he got on with people so well. He was friendly, plain and simple. In fact, the only time he wasn't over the top friendly was the days around the full moon, but he had a legitimate reason for his off days. There was a big bad wolf in him just dying to get out. OK, so not as literally as with some of his family, but mentally speaking. It was something in his blood that pulled that aggressive tendency to the surface. But today was not a bad day - today was a very good day. Today he had already worked his way through all of the weird sister's biggest hits...like do the hippogriff, magic works and this is the night. Nope, he was all out of wizarding bands and on to his favourite muggle bands.
There was this one song he'd heard. He couldn't remember what it was called or who it was by, but he was going to sing it any way. He honestly wasn't too bothered if no-one else knew it, or if they thought he was a complete nutjob for singing it in the first place. People already thought he was a little bit round the loop, all things considered, but he didn't let it get him down. No, it was important to keep the happy face on and keep all those balls juggling. After all, it was more fun when people kept them in the air than when they dropped them, wasn't it? This one song though - it was about a girl. Apparently she cried enough to drown absolutely everyone in the whole wide world, but the guy loved her even though she was so sad. He thought it was quite cute actually.
He had been surrounded by people, looking on and questioning his sanity. He'd lost track of them in his own little world until he felt and bump against his jar. Spinning around, he dropped in to silence and tilted his head to look at the other person - iot was a girl, ironically. The world sure did love playing tricks, didn't it? "Hey there, I am really sorry. Totes should have been paying way more attention, shouldn't I?"
Oh yes, he really should have been paying more attention.
notes: The song he's on about is this one here
