Welcome to the Class of flying. Taught by Auror Kyra Clark. The study of flight is something any wizard needs to graduate Hogwarts. Not only is this an important skill, but a fun and reliable one as well. Many wizards rely on the broom for transportation and work rather than just sports. Don’t get too cozy though, even the greatest Quidditch master has something to learn.
*ClASS SCHEDULE*
[/font]*BASIC . Level class
[/font]Welcome to the basic flight class. This class covers the basics of flight: How to fly, how to stop, go, adjust your speed, and control your broom. We will also review the types of broom, flying styles, and safety. Some history and bookwork will be incorporated, but the fastest way to learn will always be by practicing. The homework will be limited, but it will mostly be reviewing

*ADVANCED Level class
[/font]Combat Focused Flight. It is expected of you to already have skill on a broom, as there will be no time wasted on review of basic flight. This is a fast paced class, and is not easy. In this Combat orientated class you will take what you have learned in your DADA, Charms, and transfiguration class and apply it to a broom. You will learn how to maneuver spells, withstand harsh conditions on a broom, and reach a top speed while staying in control. There will be little book work in this class, if any, and most of this will be focused directly on live-action learning. This is an extremely fast-paced class. You are expected to practice on your free time or you will not pass the class. Of course, dueling on a broom outside of class is forbidden, but there are other techniques you will learn you can practice
