i swear i will fix this and make it pretty (and probably make a lot more sense) in the morning, when it's not one thirty am and i'm not falling asleep. basically, we're looking for a final/love interest for poppy, because she's awesome and she's been alone on the love front for a while. obviously, new characters needn't be made for these, existing characters could work too, but new people are always fun! everything in here doesn't need to be adhered to exactly, i'm always open to change. there's obviously more than one plot here, and they're just ideas. i'll probably randomly keep updating with ideas when i get them.
a) slytherpuff - sad as it may be, i think these two houses are adorable together, and completely support any links between them. basically, the slytherin half of this relationship, the boy, is your typical slytherin jerk, except he likes to pick on poppy and tease her until she gets mad, which isn't quite so hard since he's basically everything she doesn't like in a person, but she's still oddly attracted to him, and that makes her even angrier. eventually, one of their spats goes a little too far, and she ends up yelling exactly what frustrates her the most about him, what way he takes that would be up to you, i just think this would be fun to play out.
b) that horribly cliche best friends in love plot - yeah, i'm a sucker for these too. this guy and poppy would've been friends forever, maybe even before their first year at hogwarts, but whatever. they do everything together; get into trouble, walk around aimlessly for no reason... all that fun stuff. they're those cuddly best friends that everyone wants to be. but, poppy's had a crush on this boy since well, forever, and she may not be so great at hiding it. on the other hand, boy is too preoccupied trying to hide his feelings for her, that he doesn't notice hers. they're both awkward and oblivious as to what's going on, even if everyone else can probably see it.
c) that other terrible cliche of the brother's friend - ugh. gonna put this one up once i think up the entire thing.

Poppy & Eli They could fall in love. Eli is a slytherin and is looking for someone to love. You can make him open up because he's kinda a bitch to everyone else. He fell in love once before but lost her and just wants to find someone. How's that sound? (: |

Hi, meet Bennett! He's a pretty typical Slytherin, minus the blood purist attitude. He's simply hardheaded and has to get things his way, and he's bloody arrogant. I could most definitely see Poppy and him butting heads quite a lot and he would definitely pick on her. He could and probably would have some feelings for her, but of course covers it up through the taunting. Also, this actually works quite well for what I had in mind for Bennett because I wanted him to have a love interest/girlfriend/final/what-have-you to teach him a little patience as his relatonships usually just consist of sex. I think this would work because they are total opposites, and it would eventuallty bring out a softer side of Bennett.  Yeah, so those are my thoughts on that whole slytherpuff idea. |

eek! I didn't see this until now, so I'm sorry if it's kind of late. I was on vacation for most of August, and when I got back a week ago, posting was my top priority and I didn't think of checking this. he's kind of perfect for the plot, it seems. I'm not sure how the blood purist thing would have went over, since Poppy's a halfblood. it sounds great to me. Poppy would definitely get him to wait it out, since she's still innocent and wouldn't jump right into bed with anyone. n'awww, a softer side would be cute. not to mention that seeing Ash Stymest and Emily Browning in a pairing is quite unheard of, and they'd look interesting together, but I do love the idea. however, I realize that this has been sitting, and if someone's already filled the position of the love interest/girlfriend/final/whatever you want to call it, then I've definitely missed a good opportunity.

Nope, that department hasn't been filled, As a matter of fact, I need posts on him xD I think the pairing would be interesting as well... Shall we give a whirl then?
