The hour was late when Dora awoke with a start, she'd been having terrible nightmares for a few weeks now and they had resulted in her being very snappy and dangerous to the other students around her. Of course to some extent she tried to control herself but something about this nightmare had been different... it seemed to give her a splitting headache that made her skull feel like it was going to explode at any minute. When she had finally recovered some sense of normality she pulled on her large black hoodie and a pair of converse, she needed some fresh air and she knew the best place to go would be the forbidden forest.
With soft silent footsteps she made her way towards the common room exit, up towards the ground floor where she would be able to finally get outside. Sneaking out of the castle at night had become a regular occurrence for Dora most nights of the week... it had been three days since her last owl to her father asking him to meet her in the woods, but he hadn't shown up the past two nights so she didn't expect that he would be there this night either.
The cold air hit Isadora as soon as she opened the large oak doors and she welcomed all of the different smells and sounds. Granted she was only a half werewolf but it still mean't that her senses were ten times better than any human. When she finally made her way into the woods she headed towards a large oak tree that she liked to sit in and began to climb up it. While she climbed she listened to all of the creatures in the forest and when she finally reached her branch she laid back and closed her eyes, letting herself relax. It was then that her thoughts drifted back towards her father, Fenrir. Dora knew that she had never been her fathers favorite but sometimes she couldn't help but wonder why. Had it been something she'd done to him... maybe it had been her mother but however many times she thought it over she could never come up with a suitable answer so after a while of thinking about it she tried to drop it and think about a potions essay that was due and she hadn't even started it.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 365 The Tagged: isadora The Notes sorry its crappy It had been a week since the full moon and three days since he had received the letter from his second eldest daughter. She had wanted to meet him in the forbidden forest yet he hadn’t done so yet. Why, well he was simply looking out for his newly changed son who had been in the forest for the week after being bitten. He had been hoping that Jasper would have already tried to seek him out, but he was a stubborn Gryffindor, still he was positive that when it came closer to the next full moon, the Gryffindor would come and find him. And then he had other things on his mind. His daughter's letter hadn’t sounded urgent, although he did miss seeing his princess, but she could wait.
It was only when he saw the letter sitting on the table on that night that he realised that he hadn’t seen her yet. He knew he wouldn’t hear the end of it if he didn’t go. Bidding a see you later to Anastasiya, he exited the pub and made his way through Hogsmeade, towards the castle. The oh so familiar path that he could walk even if he were blindfolded. It didn’t take long til he was in the forbidden forest. At once he took a deep breath, hoping to catch Jasper out here, but the scent of his son was old, only a faint lingering of it remained. Maybe he had the courage to face the school again; it would make it all that much harder to keep an eye on him. Sure he must have known Fenrir was watching him, waiting for him.
The cool air of winter's night was welcoming to him; it brought back all the glorious memories of the past. He took a deep breath in, and this time he caught the scent of the daughter he was to see. Isadora was in the forest. He followed the scent all the way to a large oak tree. The scent seemed to travel upwards and as he glanced up he caught sight of his daughter. He just stood there, looking up, waiting for her to acknowledge that he was there. |

As soon as Fenrir had approached she could smell and hear him but decided that she would make him wait a while. When Dora finally decided to acknowledge her father she gracefully made her way down out of the tree. "Hello Father" she said softly before making her way over to him. She had many questions that she wanted to ask her father but knew it best to let him greet her before she went off on a rant... not that he deserved it in her opinion but she would be civil anyway.
Suddenly the oh so important potions essay was thrown to the back of her mind, she wanted to spend some time with her father but knew she didn't have long as she didn't want to be caught out of bed again. It would be the third time in a week and would surely rouse questions with other students and professors as to what she was up to. Dora finally zipped up her hoodie before pulling down her hood and actually looking her father in the eyes.
Dora knew that her father had been busy with her younger brother Jasper, all over the fact he'd been bitten and was now transitioning into a full werewolf. 'Some get all the luck....' she thought. She knew deep down that it couldn't be a pleasant thing to go through but she hated the feeling of missing out on something. That was when her thoughts drifted and she thought of Seyton, her eldest brother. He seemed to despise of their father deeply and somehow she understood why... she just couldn't place her finger on it.
"So what took you so long? Was it Zymette or maybe Jasper? of course as they are your most important priorities at the moment" she said with a slight snarl. Instantly she covered her lips, wishing that the words hadn't just spilled from her mouth like that. She knew that it made her sound like a jealous brat... but in some ways she was, she hated the fact that her father worshiped her sister and brother so much. She stood waiting for her fathers reaction and was sure that it wasn't going to be a very good one.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 487 The Tagged: isadora The Notes n/a He was getting irritated that she choose to ignore him for a while. She was the one that wrote the damn letter to him, so what was the point of making him wait. He was tempted to turn and walk away after a few minutes, thinking that this childish game she was playing would only end up with her getting hurt. He was not a man that liked to be kept waiting by anyone, not even his own children.
Fenrir sighed, folding his arms across his chest, tapping his finger against his arm to show just how annoyed he was. Yes she was one of his loyal children, but that did not give her the right to make him way, to irritate and annoy the hell out of him just for the fun of it. And then she spoke, climbing down from the tree. Well it was about time, he thought as he watched his daughter through narrowed eyes. He wanted her to know that he was not happy with her actions. He didn’t say hello back, instead he simply waited for her to continue with whatever she wanted to say. Maybe he should have waited a whole damn week before seeing her if this was the way she was going to behave.
"So what took you so long? Was it Zmeyette or maybe Jasper? of course as they are your most important priorities at the moment" He raised an eyebrow at the way she delivered the her words. She dare snarl at him. The wolf within wanted to teach her a lesson, no one spoke to him like that, no one. "How dare you speak to me like that," fury evident in his voice as she snarled back at her, warning her not to push him. He was not in the mood for her games and honestly, he expected better from her. This behaviour he expected for Seyton and Jasper but not from her. There was absolutely no reason for her to act like this, just because she wrote a letter asking him to meet her did not mean she had the control and power here. Oh no, he wouldn’t allow that to happen. Maybe she had been spending too much time with Seyton. The thought sent a shiver down his spine. He already had two disobedient children, he didn’t want a third, especially not a Slytherin. "What I do is none of your concern until you prove yourself, until you stop acting childish. I expect this behaviour from Seyton not you. Now tell me why you wanted me, or I will leave," he spoke, his voice full of authority and power, laced with irritation and annoyance. His mind even went as far as thinking of an appropriate punishment for wasting the precious minutes that he had lost waiting for her to come down from the tree, but perhaps that would have been going too far. |

Dora watched her father intently and smiled inside when she got the reaction that she had wanted. It was then that she felt another snarl creeping up but she had to keep it in check, she didn't want any more trouble tonight, just a nice talk with her dad. Not that the words 'dad' and 'nice talk' ever really seemed to be found in the same sentence. It was his last remark that really hit her in the gut when he spoke, "What I do is none of your concern until you prove yourself, until you stop acting childish. I expect this behaviour from Seyton not you. Now tell me why you wanted me, or I will leave,"
She knew of course that speaking to her own father like crap could get her into some serious trouble but as it stood she didn't really care all that much... all she wanted was some attention from her daddy. "I'm sorry daddy... i'm just frustrated.... just once I wanted to be your main concern... not a secondary thought in the back of your head" she said softly and looked at the floor. She'd never bared her feelings like that in front of her father like that before , but she hoped that it would reach the slight bit of paternal instinct she knew he must have deep down.
She knew that some people viewed being too emotional held weakness and for a while she believed them. But... now somehow she believed that emotions and feelings could make someone a better person. When her father spoke ill of Seyton she was unsure of what she could actually say to her father. Of course Isadora had been spending some extra time with her brother now and had begun to believe that her fathers ideas weren't always the best ones to follow. Of course she knew she couldn't mention any of this to her father just yet or maybe she just never would... but of course she knew her father wouldn't let her go without a good fight.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 390 The Tagged: isadora The Notes go here He sighed heavily. This was a waste of time he thought, he had other pressing issues to deal with, none of them involved a girl that wrote to him asking to meet her and then speak as if she were the boss of him. She needed to hang around Zmeyette more often and perhaps he would send his golden girl an owl telling her to do so.
"I'm sorry daddy... I’m just frustrated.... just once I wanted to be your main concern... not a secondary thought in the back of your head" Really, was this all about the fact she didn’t get much attention. It still didn’t excuse the way she had behaved earlier. Another sigh escaped his lips. She was kidding right? It frustrated her? If she only put herself in his shoes, she would know that it frustrated him for wasting precious time. In the time he took to talk to her, he could have already gotten 2 maybe 3 willing werewolves to help change the world. He could have been doing something more productive. "Do not mistake the fact that I’ve been busy means that I do not care for you, or think of you. Everything I do is for you and the other werewolves," he spoke, his voice, calm yet with a hint of rage and annoyance.
Although he had spoken those words, it still did nothing to relieve the irritated feeling he still had. If that was all she wanted to say well then she was being selfish, in which he never wanted his children to be. Seyton was too selfish for his own stupid childish self and Jasper was just stubborn. But Isadora, well she didn’t seem like the selfish type, but here she was with those selfish words. "Isadora, stop being selfish," he added after a moment in a voice that was much like a whisper.
Well he figured that the night was already a wasted one and so he moved over to a tree and sat down at the base of it, not caring if he got dirt all over him. "I hope you haven’t been hanging around Seyton, you know he's a bad influence, selfishness is right up his alley, not yours," he spoke, looking up at his daughter before patting the ground next to him, silently asking her to sit. |

Isadora really did understand where her father was coming from, of course he did everything he could for her the others in the pack, but sometimes she just wished that he could just try and understand where she had been coming from. She knew that in a way she was being selfish but she never expected her fathers next words to hurt her as much as they had done. "Isadora, stop being selfish,"At first she wasn't sure what to say but eventually she decided to laugh it off, prove her father wrong. "Me selfish?... seriously? Fine... whatever" she finished, not wanting to argue with him at all over something this trivial. It was when her father mentioned her brother Seyton that her cheeks went red. Lately she had been very tempted to speak to her eldest brother more, she was unsure why but she'd guessed it was because deep down she missed him like crazy. As a kid she'd loved seeing her brother but after the big fall out between Seyton and Fenrir everything had seemed to turn itself upside down and suddenly she was being told Seyton was the bad one. "Of course I haven't daddy...." she said softly and sat down in front of her father on the ground. Of course she was worried that her father would be angry at her so she thought it better not to tell him anything... even though she had a feeling that he already suspected her. words: 258 Notes: SOOOOO SORRY! it's really rubbish
