Standing just outside the door of the three broomsticks Dimitri waited for his date to arrive. The air was frigid as the the November night grew later. The midnight blue sky was dotted with brilliant stars that were briefly covered by a passing dark gray cloud. Those clouds were the ones that usually contained snow and Dimitri wondered if it would do just that. Although it was freezing outside Dimitri was protected from the cold for he wore gloves, a scarf, and a winter hat, along with a long cloak. He did not shiver once as he waited patiently for Persephone Warrington to arrive.
Persephone and Dimitri had known each other for years. They attended the same school and were in the same house, basically the two had grown up together and shared many of memories. But soon enough Persephone was taken away when her career took off and, although Dimitri couldn't of been happier for her, he missed his friend that he cared for deeply.
Rumor had it that the model was in town so Dimitri sent her a letter in hopes that she had not left without seeing him. He was quite certain that the beautiful model had feelings for him too but they both had jobs that interfered with the romance. Dimitri was sick of it and wanted to make them a sure thing, an official item. He hated thinking of her off without him in the arms of some man that wasn't him. So tonight he would make the move and try to finalize whatever relationship they had.
In the distant a form was approaching, one that swayed at the hips he knew to be Persephone's. He quickly arranged his hands behind his back which held a dozen roses the same roses that she had already received one petal from in his letter to her. "Good evening Persephone." He said with a smile as she came into view. "I've missed you."
((I hope you don't mind the direction I took their relationship/past in))

How long had it been since she had seen or even heard from him? Dimitri had been a go to go back in Hogwarts, nothing of the sexual kind, just to talk when she needed it, and when she didn’t feel like having girl talk. To hear from him seemed so out of the blue. Had word really gotten around that she was here? Bringing the letter to her nose, she took a deep breath, the scent of roses washing over her. To say she missed him was an understatement. She liked him more than she cared to admit. It was too bad he couldn’t travel with her, their jobs so different. There were times she often wondered if he was dead or injured and every time she asked about him, he always seemed to be doing fine.
Pulling on a pair of leather gloves; she adjusted her scarf, she was really to meet him. Perse was nervous to say the least. They had left their well she really had no idea what to call it, but it was left wide open, neither having the courage to ask the other, neither wanting to cut all ties, their friendship had been left in purgatory of sorts.
Taking a deep breath, she made her way towards Hogsmeade, the cold weather trying to bite at her through her warm clothing. She hated the biting cold of the English winters now, she'd rather spend it somewhere that was much more warmer, like Hawaii or Fiji, some place that didn’t snow. Her eyes caught the figure of him and she resisted the urge to run up to him.
She wasn’t one for love, in fact she didn’t really like the idea, but something about Dimitri made that go out the window. She could have melted just with those six words he spoke to her. "Dimitri dear, oh how I’ve missed you too," she smiled at him. She didn’t know whether to hug him, kiss him or simply shake hands with him. In fact she had no idea how to act around him now that he was in front of her. | [atrb=width,140] words ,

Her smile was brilliant, as gorgeous as the stars that shined above them. Elegantly dressed, as always, Persephone stood before Dimitri outside of the Three Broomsticks. Dimitri could hear the sound of people clinking their silverware and glasses with a soft mummer of conversations taking place. The sound was much softer than a usual night at the pub but that was because Dimitri had asked to section off a small corner so that Persephone and himself could talk freely without anyone listening in. Dimitri would have liked to rent out the entire place but he did not make that sort of money and a section of the building would have to do.
Dimitri's mood instantly brightened when Persephone admitted to missing him as well. He took the sight of her in, trying to remember every little detail before one of them would be off on another mission for their jobs. "You look stunning, as always." Dimitri said reaching over to pulled her into a hug with one arm as the other held the bouquet of roses behind his back. The embrace lasted only a moment before he pulled back leaving a small kiss on his cheek. As he stepped back he said, "I've got something for you." Dimitri then pulled out the roses to give to her, hoping that he wasn't over doing anything tonight. He just wanted the night to be special.
A bundle of nerves he was as he looked over at her again feeling like it was hard to believe she was here tonight. Not that he doubted she wouldn't have shown but to actually be back in the same city at the same time, it was such perfect luck. Dimitri took it as a sign to plunge forward with what he had planned, that nothing would fail him tonight. Dimitri offered his arm to Persephone, "Shall we head in now, I'd hardly want you to freeze out here." He said with a smile on his face.

Her smile widened as he complimented her. She loved compliments, couldn’t get enough of them. The hug didn’t seem to last long but before she could complain, he said he had something for her before pulling out a bunch of roses he had hidden behind him. Her face lit up as she took them from him. She brought them up to her face and inhaled, letting the scent wash over her. "They're beautiful," she replied, as she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, "Thank you."
Dimitri always seemed to make her feel special, no matter what she was doing, who she was with or what she was wearing. She could have worn a hessian sack and he's make her feel like she was a million dollars. She looked up into his eyes, catching the sparkle of what seemed like joy and excitement in them. She loved his eyes, could stare at them forever.
"Shall we head in now, I'd hardly want you to freeze out here." Wha...oh she had forgotten that they were meant to be in the three broomsticks and not standing out here. She looked up at the sky and wondered just when it would snow. It would be nice to spend some time with him in the snow, running around throwing snow balls at each other, laughing and joking. Although it seemed childish, it was something she could imagine herself doing with him. "Sure," she lowered her gaze back down to him, noticing the arm he had offered. She moved the bunch of roses to her other hand, before taking his arm with a gloved hand. It felt...right to be interlinked with him like this, it felt natural. Why oh why did his job require him to stay in London, oh how she wished he could travel with her. | [atrb=width,140] words ,

Although the night was frosty the couple paid no mind as they shared a warmer spirit being in each others' company. Persephone was on his arm as Dimitri led the way into The Three Broomsticks. It wasn't the most romantic place on earth but it was simple enough for the two of them. Dimitri knew that Persephone was a model and did enjoy the finer things in life but he also knew that she didn't mind simple, as long as it was enjoyable, which Dimitri prayed tonight would be.
As soon as Dimitri stepped inside he instantly heat caress his exposed skin. One of the waiters showed them to their table, which was located in one of the corners next to a window. The surrounding area was cleared out for them. Dimitri pulled out Persephone's chair for her, just as a gentlemen should. After she took her seat and his as well he ordered a bit of wine for the two of them. "Thank you sir." Dimitri said as he handed them the menus. The waiter then left to give Persephone and him some privacy.
"So, tell me how have you been? Its been a while since we were last able to get together." Dimitri said, smiling over at his date. Tonight was the night, he was going to try and finalize things between them. Make it official that they were together because he couldn't stand the thought of her technically being a free agent and able to mingle with other men. They wouldn't know how to treat her as he did.
