The third floor corridor had at one point been off limits to students, but it wasn't exactly known why. Gabby was curious and wanted to know why the corridor had once been blocked off. She doubted that whatever had caused it to be closed off would still be here since it was now open but it was worth checking out nonetheless. Of course she was supposed to be in charms class right about now, but she had decided not to go today. Charms was boring anyway and she just didn't have the patience to sit in class and listen to the teacher preach away about one thing or another for hours on end. Yawn. Instead she was out breaking the rules and having some fun on her own, at least more fun than she would have had in class.
She was as usual dressed way too scantily for the school code but so far no one had said anything to her. Generally professors just left her alone because no matter how many detentions she got she didn't often change her habits. What could she say she was a girl that was set in her ways. Gabby wandered along the corridor and spotted only a few people, some on their own and some with their lovers. She scoffed at the couples though. She couldn't see herself ever being in a relationship like that, exclusive and whatnot. She doubted she would ever be able to actually care about someone enough to really devote herself to them. She just wasn't that kind of gal. She liked options and being in a closed relationship like that didn't offer her the options she enjoyed having to her disposal.
