Brown hair, brown eyes with dark makeup, not a smile in sight, dressed in black skin tight pants and a green halter neck shirt and a cloak hanging from the person's arm. In fact the girl staring back at her looked bored. Yes Ari was staring in the mirror, the reflection showing her a beautiful girl that wasn’t smiling. Oh there was no doubt that Aquarius could smile, in fact she smiled quiet often but today was a different story. She had just dumped yet another guy the night before, left him at a set of stairs after curfew. Last she had heard was that he ended up getting detention. Ah well he had been too boring for her tastes, well any guy was too boring for her tastes but she refused to believe that she was that way inclined. It was just a faze, she'd grow out of it right? Well she thought and hoped so. Teasing her hair a little more she turned sharply on her heels and headed out of her dorm. There was nothing to do in the common room, a fire was lit in the fireplace, but there was hardly anyone in there. Most would be at Hogsmeade enjoying the day. Taking the cloak off her arm, she put it on and wrapped it tight around her body before she headed out of the common room and up to the main entrance were she got her name marked off before heading off to Hogsmeade. The girl wanted a drink. Oh and chocolate...scratch that, make it sugar quills. She was down to her last couple and if anyone wanted to win her over, sugar quills was the way to go. Some would say she had an obsession with the candy, but she didn’t care, she'd eat them day in and day out if she could without feeling sick after the first half a dozen or so. She shoved her way through Honeydukes, reaching the back of the store and grabbing as many sugar quills as she could. How many did she have, she had no idea, all she knew was the shelf was now empty, the quills in her arms. Pushing past a few more people she dropped them on the counter and paid for them. Grabbing the bag, she gave the shop attended a faint smile before pushing herself back through the crowd of people and out of the shop. Why others lingered in that store was stupid, if they knew what they wanted they should go in grab it, pay for it and leave, no look around like they had no clue as to what half of the sweets tasted like. A cool breeze blew, sending shivers down the girl's spine. She wanted somewhere warm and there it was in front of her. The three broomsticks. In she went and straight up to the bar. It took her a few minutes to order a firewhiskey, the new bartender insisting that she looked underage and she kept insisting that she was at least eighteen. She had won out in the end and was taking her drink to an empty table, dumping the bag on top of the table before taking a seat herself. credit to hay shay ! at caution 2.0 |
