The soft, grainy sand shifted and rustled as Alexander Lucian Rookwood kicked aimlessly at it. A cloud of dust penetrated the air and dissolved into the night. As the pebbles setttled down into the edge of the lake, they made a popping sound. Alexander watched the ripples of dark water in the Black Lake spread out into nothingness. This was the best the seventh year Slytherin could manage at entertainment on a Friday evening. He sighed a deep breath and watched the puff of cold, winter air dissapear. He laid his head back on his arms and shivered at first at the cold sensation seeping its way through his back.
Alex closed his eyes and listened to the crashing and movement of the waves in the Black Lake. Creatures were making noises every now and then, but nothing disturbed him for some reason. Throughout the years, he had grown to embrace and harness his fears. Simply because the boy had no choice. His parents were staunch followers of Voldemort, still living and breathing the Death Eater ways. It was a lifestyle Alexander Rookwood once wanted. After witnessing the horrifying things they did to people all in the name of a greater good and a greater world ruled by them...he was not so sure that was what he wanted. Day in and day out the Slytherin would try to wrap his mind around his future...but all to no avail. He was still stuck at square one.
Alexander Rookwood opened his eyes and breathed the cold night air. It was harsh and heavy. But every inhalation brought a sense of cool tranquility to his lungs...along with the occassional shudder. He wished he could spend all his time out here. Without the pressures of school and family. It was a cruel and unforgiving world. The only comforts were the abundance of willing friends and the company of ladies. The thought brought a smile upon his face. At least things could not get any worse. How was that for a silver lining? Suddenly, Alexander heard a twig crack from behind him. Whipping around, he pulled out his wand and flashed it in the direction of the sound. "Who's there?" he demanded.

Friday meant sending a letter to her father. He demanded weekly updates from Maharet, mostly to make sure that she was doing as she was told. In other words daddy dearest wanted a report on who’s egos she was stroking, how she was doing with her academics, that sort of thing. She couldn’t say that she really minded having her movements analyzed and scrutinized. It possibly had a lot to do with the fact that Maggie never disappointed. She had a certain way of getting what she wanted. As Maharet was leaving the owlery she decided to take the long way around back to the castle. It was a bit chilly but the coat that hugged her figure kept it from seeping down to her bones.
The lake wasn’t too far off and Maggie fancied herself a stroll along its shore. Despite the slight difficultly as the heels of her boots sunk into the sand. Down a little further Maharet laid eyes on a familiar, not to mention handsome, figure. Alexander he had become somewhat of a plaything for her. The way that they interacted was always intriguing. When he flirted it wasn’t sarcastic or challenging, but simply an indulgence of like-minded individuals. Maharet could express her appreciation for him being the fine male specimen that he was.
She had hoped that her approach would have been silent but that damn stick had given her away. As Maggie saw a wand pointing at her a small smile came onto her lips. “Why so jumpy, love?” Maharet questioned closing the short distance that was between them still and took a seat next to him. Placing her hand on his shoulder Maggie leaned in close giving him a chaste kiss on the cheek. “Were you expecting someone else?” It did interest her to know why a simple snap of a twig had incited such a hostile reaction.

Subtlely was never one of Alexander's virtues. He was deliberate, decisive and occasionally...a little reckless. But wasn't that all part of the Death Eater brood and upbringing? But appearances could most definitely be deceiving. To the untrained eye, the Rookwood boy was a charming, yet dangerous Death Eater wannabe. To his closer friends, the boy who seemed to live for excitement had a softer, sensitive side; a side that was dabbled with fear. But Friday evening was not a night to reamin fixated on the past and the future...regardless of how gloomy and uncertain it was. Especially not in Alexander Rookwood's present company, Maharet Rosier.
Alexander Rookwood thought he had noticed a black shape pass quickly over the sand in front of him. But until he had heard the cracking of the branch the Slytherin boy thought he had simply imagined it or maybe the trees has rustled. "Lumos!" he cried in the direction of his pointed wand. The illuminated wand outlined a still figure nearby. Alex immediately made it out to be the bodice of a girl. As the light spread, a familiar face was made out: Maggie Rosier. The boy lightened his defenses and lowered his wand. Up till now, he had not noticed how unnecessarily harsh and sudden his actions were. Then again...extreme times called for extreme measures.
"Oh its only you. I um...I'm sorry about that. Got a little carried away," said Alexander with a sheepsih grin. The look on Maggie's face obviously hinted that she wondered why he reacted that way. But that was the last thing the seventh year Slytherin wanted to delve into. He dug his toes into the cool sand and turned back around to watch the ripples of black water. "So what brings such an attractive lady as yourself out to the lake on this dreary Friday evening?" he said with a smirk of dry humor.
Suddenly, the girl provided him with a quick kiss on his cheek. Alexander closed his eyes and solemnly let himself indulge in the warm sensation however fleetingly short it was. He patted the ground next to him, gesturing Maggie to take a seat. "Why so jumpy, love? Were you expecting someone else?" Part of him wanted to disregard the questions, but then again, Alex owed the girl a response considering their long-standing companionship. He looked down and let the sand sift through his fingers. "Oh it's nothing. You just caught me off guard. But truly, I am eternally grateful that you are here. Maybe you can bring some eventfulness to my Friday evening. said Alexander, now with his usual charm and wit restored.

Maharet’s hand rose to block the bright light from his wand from blinding her. Though it could have just as easily been interpreted as her own defenses coming up even if it was completely wrong. Alexander may have been brought up to be some callous Slytherin drone, but that also meant that he wouldn’t go around hexing the likes of her, especially since their rapport was rather favourable. She didn’t see why he was on edge though. Unbeknownst to her they were two sides of the same coin. While Alex acted externally like a typical bad boy Slytherin all charm and cunning she took on that role of the sweet little Ravenclaw. She had seen glimpses of his soft side but for his own good, nothing too severe as to his true character. Maggie was attracted to the powerful, not those with a soft side.
She frowned slightly at the lack of enthusiasm that was shown toward her at first. Only her? Maggie started to feel insulted but that didn’t last but for the briefest of moments. He was too apologetic for it to have been meant as offensive. Besides he had amended the comment with a compliment. Attractive, Maharet couldn’t complain about that in the least. “It was just far too nice outside to stay cooped up in the castle.” She answered offering a sweet smile in return. “Plus I needed to owl out a letter. Saw you all by yourself out here and it seemed an awful shame to leave you to such solitude.”
It was adorable to see someone like Rookwood melt at her kiss, especially something as innocent as a peck on the cheek. But she loved it, relished in the fact that Alexander was always so receptive of her. Hugging her coat to her a little bit tighter Maharet didn’t have any reservations about cozying up to Alexander’s side. They were friends after all, nothing wrong with a bit of closeness between companions. Though the lake was a nice view, Maggie’s gaze was roaming over his face, studying all its rugged contours. It was a bit of a guilty pleasure of hers.
“Eternally grateful,” Maharet repeated shaking her head fondly. “You do wonders for my ego, Alex.” She only entertained her fancy for a few moments longer before looking out to the lake. It was restless tonight it seemed. “And how might you propose I bring you some eventfulness this evening?” It was too cold to swim, though seeing him shirtless was always enjoyable, and there wasn’t much going on in the castle that night. She hadn’t heard of any parties or other forms of entertainment. Her mind immediately went to the thing that seemed to make most young men flock toward her.

Thinking back, Alexander really had no idea why he had acted so surprised and, frankly, so harsh. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry really was the safest place in the wizarding world. Then what had him so on edge? Truthfully, it was a question that the Slytherin boy really did not want answered. He was scared of what it might mean. In this lapse of deep thought, it escaped him that his wand was brightly trained upon the body of the beautiful girl, outlining her flawless figure in the pitch black night. With a momentary expression of embarrassment, Alexander quickly pulled his wand down, saying, "Nox."
Out of the blue, it occured to him how exactly Maharet and he were so attracted to each other. Beyond physical features that were irresistable by every person in this school, they both were quite mesmerized by the prospect of power. At first it may sound somewhat childish and vague, but the world of wizards was run on that boundless, endless circle of life. The powerful lived lavishly, while the weak suffered the consequences of society. Both of them lived for that excitement; lived for that influence. But Alexander's careful, deliberate showed another side to it all. Some said that thoughts like that held you back; some say otherwise. That power hunger could just make you reckless, greedy and end up in demise. It was a never-ending conflict that Alex truly hoped to put an end to.
He was completely out of it and Maggie was more than perceptive enough to notice it. Alexander had completely disregarded and brushed off one of the women he considered closest to him. At first there was a troublesome look of sadness on her face at Alex's reply, but he tried to remain as genuine and apologetic as possible. In the end she seemed to come around to making polite, yet obviously pointless conversation. It was not a secret that these two were not much for fluffy conversation. They were more of...physical beings. "Your standards for men are quite high, but I see your standard for weather isn't. You call this 'nice outside'?" replied Alex with a sly, but bright smile. "Ah the weekly progress report to the parents. Don't you just love how much they worry for their little baby girl?" By this time, his voice was oozing with playful, teasing sarcasm...a tool that Alexander Rookwood loved to put to good use.
Alexander could not pretend to dislike the attention and physical contact he had with Maharet. It was a relationship and feeling that he rather adored. And no other woman gave him that same feeling. It was not love, no...it was much better. Feeling Maggie's warm bodice cling to his, the Slytherin boy wrapped one arm around her waist. Her smooth, blonde hair gave off a fragrance that almost always made his heart pump in overtime. Examining every curve and crevasse of her body, Alexander realized something: This was what it like to be on cloud nine. He noticed her studying him just as carefully, silently. But neither of them were perturbed by their usual fascination for each other. The dark lake and the bright stars were the last thing on his mind now.
As always, Maharet's presence made his brain shift into 'guilty pleasure' mode. It probably was not appropriate to express such ideas, so he kept to himself, not daring to break the intense eye contact with the girl. Maggie's comment caused the corners of his lips to curve up in the slightest fashion. There was another thing that attracted them: their egos. Monsterous alone. You would not want to see them put together. "I aim to please darling." replied Alexander, his voice dripping with seduction. "Well you're the mastermind here. The brainy Ravenclaw behind the operations. Why don't you suggest something?" It was quite obvious what they were both thinking, but with Alexander and Maggie it was more about...the different types of foreplay.
Notes: Sorry if it's such a big post. I was inspired. I guess you've got me back into RPing shape.

”On the contrary, my standards were the weather are high too, just different than the norm.” As were most things that involved her preference. Maharet wasn’t like most girls, anyone who knew the first thing about her would be aware of that, which not many really did know anything about her, only what she wanted them to know. Alexander had always been rather privy to who she really was. There was of course the courtesy of with holding ever detail about themselves. What fun would that be to know every single thing, no matter how insignificant about another person? The thought of knowing someone that intimately made her cringe internally. Sure, she and Jacob had been getting to the point but luckily hadn’t made it there yet and Maharet hoped that they never did. “Never been much for bright sunshine-y days. Draws out too many optimists. This though,” Maggie gestured toward the dreary horizon, the sky muted with hues of gray. “Well you’re here aren’t you?” The light teasing was accompanied with a touch of a smile from her. “What could be nicer?”
His playfulness was cute. “Yes, I am fond.” She liked the fact, however tedious it could sometimes be, that her father took an interest in her. It wasn’t a secret to Maharet that her father had wanted a son, but she was an only child. She worked very hard to make up for that and, if it wasn’t too pompous to think it, believed that she did a rather good job at making him proud. Him and Fenrir, who Maharet seemed to have some need to please in whatever way she could manage at any given time. She never had been able to explain her loyalty to the man but it was there. “Wouldn’t you want to keep a close eye on me?” Maharet questioned whispering it seductively in his ear. This inquiry, of course, had nothing to do with wanting to look out for her, but rather to watch her have her fun. Though she could guess that Alex would prefer joining in on said fun.
By the way that Alexander was looking at her though his reply didn’t really matter. She could tell that he wanted her, and it was in his touch, the way that his arm came around to hold her to him. There was a certain sense of euphoria that came with involving herself with Alex. He was one of the few, maybe only, people that she didn’t have any ulterior motive it was just pure fun, no strings attached. That could easily change though given the right circumstances. She tried not to let that ruin a perfectly good moment- no thought or plotting was necessary with Alexander, Maharet could just relax with him. It was nice, pleasant even, and she just wanted to indulge in that.
“Yes you do.” Maharet agreed knowingly. He always did manage to please her in one way or another. Alex was a very rewarding sort of person. Sucking in a deep breath Maggie knew what he wanted, because she wanted it too. The things that she could do to him really were vast and Maggie’s mind mulled over a few choice options, enjoying the thought of each one. He hadn’t broken eye contact with her yet, which didn’t happen often. What was rare was for Maharet to be the first to look away, unless she had a reason to, a strategy in doing so. That happened to be the case here. They liked to play with one another, always exploring new avenues to do so.
Her gaze fixated on the ground, lower lip caught between her teeth as she pretended to consider her options. What to do? After a few moments she looked back up at him, under her thick eyelashes batting them gingerly. “Well, you could always serenade me under these beautiful stars. It would put me in the mood.” Maharet was kidding of course. She didn’t need romancing, in fact it usually made her want to head in the other direction, but Maggie was simply keeping up with their usual rapport, being playful, sarcastic, and flirty. Her hand rested on Alexander’s thigh, gradually leaning in toward him.
ooc: Glad I could help.

Growing up as a child in Ottery St. Catchpole, Alexander was almost always away from the hustle and bustle of London and, of course, the Muggles that inhabited and scoured over it. That was only true until his first visit to Diagon Alley. He was immediately enamored by the abundant selection of wizarding knick knacks and gadgets. Everyone was having a wonderful time...until they noticed his family standing near by. Knockturn Alley, on the other hand, gave him a whole new, but refreshing sensation. A chance to experience the best of both worlds. It was a dark, ominous and silent grouping of buildings and streets. The loudest noises that penetrated the air were the sharp caws of the crows. No one dared to speak above a whisper in this town. No one knew who to trust, and whom not to. But it certainly did not bother the little Slytherin-to-be one bit. People cringed into a bow and made way while the Rookwood family passed by. Even at that age Alex enjoyed the power and spoil that came with being part of one of the oldest Death Eater families in wizarding society.
At her response, Alexander tilted his head up to examine the clouds that were drearily painted across the sky. The fog that settled over and around the Black Lake prevented clear vision past fifteen feet. "In that case, I would say your expectation have been exceeded far and beyond. Hmm?" the Slytherin boy noted quite lightly. By now, he had a general idea of Maharet Rosier's likes and dislikes. Though, like him, they rarely allowed themselves times to "get to know one another". Not that it mattered much to them. Information about the other would get passed on the more time they spent. Alexander glanced away to the distance and chuckled slightly. "Well I can relate to that. I'd say this weather gives us more...privacy." Alexander most definitely did not want some happy-go-lucky Hufflepuff making stupid, polite conversation with him. As usual, Maggie had made her point and gotten him to agree with it.
For just a moment, it seemed to Alexander that his partner-in-crime seemed to zone out. She seemed to fade out into a distant land of her own. What was she thinking about? There were few people who could figure that out. And by her secretive standards, Alex was one who understood her rather well. Even still, there were significant bits and pieces they withheld from each other. It was obvious Maharet was thinking about her parents. He looked in her eyes, making a ridiculous attempt at seeing through her, but to no avail. Maggie kept everything sentimental locked deep down inside that heart of hers. She finally spoke up, saying, "Wouldn't you want to keep a close eye on me?" The suggestive whisper was accompanied by a faint smirk. Obviously, she wasn't one to linger on one thought for an extended period of time. Alexander turned his head to face her, his lips almost brushing her own. "You should know by now, that I do much more than that for you, Maharet." His eyes roamed her profile momentarily, able to feel her breath warm his face.
It was obvious by now that, for whatever reason, this scenario had put them both in quite the mood. His arm wrapped around her with a demanding forwardness, but also a suave delicacy. Alexander felt her comply to his touch almost instantly, melting down into him with intoxication. On the surface, they both seemed relaxed, but he knew their hearts were pounding at a breakneck pace. He could almost feel her's beating against his own chest. "Yes you do." By the time these words flooded from her mouth, Alexander was filled with a surge of ecstasy. He knew she was plotting some rather grand, sensual plot for them to have their fun. She looked like she was enjoying every option thoroughly. But unlike most boys associated with Maharet, he wasn't just on for the ride.
The Ravenclaw turned to face him, batting her eyelashes with exaggeration. Every single one caused Alexander's heart to leap with expectation. She had kept him waiting long enough to join in on the charade. “Well, you could always serenade me under these beautiful stars. It would put me in the mood.” Maggie's suggestion came with a suggestive, yet sarcastic tone of voice. Her hand moved to his thigh, indicating she had almost zero interest in a vocal performance. "I thought my voice itself was enough to put you in a mood," whispered Alexander, letting his lips graze her ear. "Considering you seem rather excited at the moment." The boy took her chin softly in two fingers, turning her so she faced him. Alexander touched his lips to hers ever so softly; enough to merit a little pleasure, but also to rouse her desire.

Privacy was somewhat of a necessity for Maharet, especially as of late. Hector had an awful tendency to come in at the most unfortunate of times, or someone equally troublesome. But with the night being what it was, that fog was very convenient, blanketing over the ground to obscure the majority on them. It had a pleasantly chilling affect on her body as well making Alexander’s warmth all the more desired. She enjoyed the way that the little wisps of gray air seemed to curl around her form, hugging her rather than avoiding the obstacle. It did have an uncanny way of pointing out that there was still space between them, something that she hoped to remedy soon. A simple nod of agreement was all that Alex got from her at that point. Maggie was too busy admiring the view.
As his lips came so very close to hers they tingled with the ghost presence that he had left behind. The sensation rewarded Alexander with a genuinely sweet smile from her. “Should I?” She questioned playing innocent. There was a lot that he did for her some of it obvious and others… well Maharet wasn’t completely confident that he was aware of it, which suited her just fine. He had more of her trust than most people could claim, but that still didn’t mean that Maggie poured her heart out to him. Even the notion of doing so could make her cringe. There was no sense in doing such a thing no matter how much you trusted a person. Privacy, as had been so aptly insinuated moments ago, was desirable. Why would a person want to know every single thing about another anyway? It was impractical and often times, things were better left unsaid.
Her pulse had quickened in the time that they had been together, it was an incontrollable reaction to her desires running ramped inside of her. Alexander was an appealing person. His charm was plentiful, and there was the skill to back him up too. Under different circumstances, in the sense that Maharet was a different person entirely- compliant, faithful, affectionate- they could have been happy together, one of those cute couples that everyone envied so, but given that she wasn’t any of those things, it left them with that infamous friends with benefits status. She should have felt bad about being with Alex while Hector was snug in his bed up in the Ravenclaw tower, but that would have meant that she had to feel bad about the other young men that she was involved with too, that was more of a hassle than Maggie cared for. Besides it would have also required her to care, which she had been taught wasn’t to be bothered with.
“Your voice does have a certain quality about it.” Maharet agreed allowing a shiver to grip her from the bass in his whisper. “But moments are fleeting.” This little reminder was just to make sure Alexander hadn’t forgotten who was in charge here. She may have allowed appearances to deceive, but Maggie had been depriving herself of that power when it came to Slytherins. One in particular who she planned on using mercilessly because of the moment of weakness that he had made her feel. It was too much of an offense, making her feel something for him, to simply let it pass unpunished. Where she wouldn’t physically do anything to Jacob, Maggie would be damned if there weren’t going to be some retribution in the near future- he needed to make up for his mistake. But Alexander, he was her concern now.
The tender affections that were shown toward her, his touch and kiss so light, Maharet felt herself mellow out. He aimed to please and Maggie fully intended to make Alex hold true to his word. A content sigh escaped her lips, her shoulders slumping with that blissful feeling of pure gratification. All she wanted to do was enjoy his company, delight in it. The hand that had been resting on his thigh was moved to his chest instead pushing Alexander back to break the kiss. “You didn’t ask please.” Maggie gave him an impish smile applying pressure to his chest again to ease him back onto the ground.

By now, the sun had completely vanished from the sky, along with the last greyish hues of orange and red painted across the horizon. Replacing it was the ever luminated moon that humans of all kind found just as mesmerizing. The brightness seemed to mute out the twinkle of each and every star in the dark canvas above them. Alexander's eyes drifted back toward Maharet's face. She was deep in thought. As well as he knew her, it was impossible to tell for what reason. Oddly, she seemed to be doing this rather often these days. Then again, times were changing quickly for the both of them. Both of their fathers were rather close friends, as they were part of the orginal Death Eaters created by Tom Riddle during their seventh year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Maybe that Death Eater mentality was what enticed them together at such a young age and throughout their school years.
The ground suddenly seemed to ice over; a cool sensation rushing from underneath his legs and bottom side. Without the sun to prevent its tirade, the winter fog wrapped itself around Alexander and Maggie. He found himself tightening his grip on the girl's waist, pulling her closer to share that ever elusive warmth on this November evening. Allowing a shiver and warm puff of air to escape his body, he couldn't help but wonder whether his reaction was because of the cold environment or the sensual ambience the couple had placed upon each other. Regardless of the weather, it would have been rather difficult to keep the two physically apart, but this just aided in making the process all the more quicker and interesting. The slightest hint of a smirk graced Alexander's lips at the thought, half hoping Maggie would catch on to the irony as well.
The Slytherin boy could feel Maharet's breath warm his cold, paled lips as they lingered so temptingly close to her's. He took the opportunity to gaze over every nook and crannie of Maggie's face, almost entranced to the point where his movement was stunted. "Should I?" She had decided to play innocent with him, but the sarcasm in her voice was tantalizingly attractive. Almost daring him to push the boundaries once again without her consent. "I believe I've answered that question more than once to you. Would you like me to job your memory once again?" Alexander's reply was coated with seductive playfulness. His fingers touched Maharet's cool, soft lips just to see if she caught his drift. Though at this point, considering how long they had known each other, they were thinking on exaclty the same track. It was only a matter of time.
Every ounce of adrenaline in Alexander's body was now pumping through him, enducing him with excitement and expectation. Maharet Rosier was like an infectious drug to him, causing him to relish in the addiction and pleasure that she provided him with. Every inch of his stature was almost uncontrollably fidgety in his rampant lust for the heartstopper snuggled up close to him. She seemed to hestitate and allow herself a moment to think. It caused him as well to take a step back and gaze at her with a different point of view. There had always been part of him that wanted something more with Maggie, though he had learned to bury it deep down in his heart. Learned to ignore those idiotic feelings that he felt for her and just enjoy those wonderful moments with her. But here he was, those deep emotions so easily conjured up again. Alexander realized that it was just some pipe dream; a world where he and Maharet were completely different people. Not the children of their fathers. Not the ruthless Dark wizards in training. Not the emotionless, lustul lovers they were. He shook his mind of those disturbing, irrelevant ideas. Just a pipe dream...
Alexander had almost forgotten what he was here for, if that was at all possible. "Your voice does have a certain quality about it." He allowed a sharp inhalation and smirk to betray him. It was quite obvious she didn't want to overdo any of the antics because it would have to be assumed that she was charmed by him. "But moments are fleeting." And of course, Maharet Rosier was always the one who did the charming in the end, not the other way around. It wasn't as if Alex minded very much that Maggie liked to take charge. On the contrary, it was a rather refreshing experience. Especially when a lady such as her was so gifted in those lustful arts.
As his lips touched her's, Alex let a soft gasp of air escape him as he indulged in his blissful ignorance. A warm sensation immediately ran through his body almost as if her warmth had transferred into him mysteriously. The girl in his arms gave in momentarily to the undeniable felicity of the kiss. Out of nowhere, Maggie's hand slid up his chest to softly push him away. "You didn't ask please." A smug grin found its way to his lips at Maggie's remark. He couldn't help himself from leaning in just once more to touch his lips to her's, just to make a point. "I just couldn't resist. I seem to have to thrown caution to the wind along with my manners." He allowed himself to be pushed softly onto the ground. Alex placed his hands on her waist comfortingly once again, fascinated by the immaculate curves of her body. He shivered as the coolness of the ground took a moment to register into his muscular body. Looking up at her, Alexander whispered softly as his smirk widened with pleasant anticipation. "Should I be scared?"

Had it gotten darker out? Probably but Maharet was far too concentrated on the wonderfully delicious boy in front of her. It was a bad habit to get as caught up in moments as Maggie could so often due, depending on the person that she was with, but that guilty pleasure as something that she liked to indulge in far too much to have the sense to pull away and pay attention to anything else that was going on around her. She figured that it was safe enough to do with Alexander. He knew his place and never made any fuss about it. That didn’t include the playful banter or anything like that which sometimes went on between them, because in the end it was still the same. They both got what they wanted. It was an arrangement that Maharet had zero complaints about.
It was getting colder too but that only intensified her longing to be so close to Alexander. On a subconscious level she knew that she shouldn’t have enjoyed the feel of his arms wrapped around her as she was. It was one thing to like it in the sexual sense, which she did, but there was a tinge of something else laced between the lust. That basic human need for acceptance, to be loved. It wasn’t just that she couldn’t allow herself those sorts of feelings- Maggie was already aware of the consequences of that, the disappointment- or even if she knew she was capable of having them either. Just because she had tasted some semblance of what she thought at the time was love, didn’t mean that Maharet was able to be a loving person. It was too confusing to think about for too long. And aside from that Alexander was just like her, or so she was under the assumption. Her focus was wavering and that wasn’t what she wanted to come of tonight.
Her memory didn’t need any jogging, but the result was still quite nice. Maggie did love to hear Alex slip into that sensual tone of his that could make any girl shiver in delight. It even had the ability to send a small tingle through her. Maharet’s lips twitched upward in the half-smile as his fingers smoothed over her lower lip. The action made her crave another kiss but she wasn’t going to be hasty with him. Patience built the anticipation and she wanted Alexander practically begging. It was a cruel thing to want, but Maggie could be a cruel person so it was fitting. She was well on her way to getting it too as Alexander sucked in that jagged breath and a smirk was quick to form. He was too strong a person to literally get down on his knees and plead to her, but Maharet did intend to bewitch him, in a sense.
He did have a point and it got across to her perfectly. It wasn’t that she was so vain to think that she was irresistible, but the situation was. Circumstances like the ones that Maharet had maneuvered them into made logic take the back seat. :Still Alexander laid back for her and Maggie moved to get on top of him, in a lithe gesture, she straddled Alex. “Perhaps you should find your manners.” It wasn’t actually a suggestion, though it could have easily been misconstrued as one. Maharet let her gaze run down him smiling her approval as her hand found its way beneath his shirt, nails slowly, tenderly, raking up Alexander’s chest. Should he have been scared? It was possible.
“Maybe.” It was all that Maggie could offer. Now wasn’t the time to plan things out completely. He wasn’t some task that she was working on and she didn’t have to be worried about what Alex was trying to use her for because she already knew. He just wanted her, simple as that. There weren’t too many things in her life that were so simple, but he was one of them. It had a lot to do with the reason they could be friends. Maggie didn’t have to worry about him. Leaning in, she kissed him again, lips moving against Alex’s in a slow teasing manner. Her fingernail idly grazed over his abs tracing random patterns with a feather-light touch.
