It was a brisk yet fairly sunny fall evening out and so Riley, wrapped her cloak around her and made her way down to the Quidditch Pitch, her favorite place to go. When the pitch was empty it was a nice and secluded spot to go to either be alone or with someone special. Not that Riley had someone special to spend her time with, but she hoped that one day she would find the right someone, but for now, she was fine with flirting and having guy friends...close friends, sometimes a little too close.
She got down to the pitch and found that her favorite spot was vacant, in fact the whole pitch was vacant. She took a seat on the grass and leaned her back against the base of the first bleacher tower and took out her journal as she watched the sun beginning to set. She loved writing in her journal. Mainly it was stuff that she had done, who she had met and nothing nice about her twin sister, Jayden, who was the complete opposite. Riley was the troublemaker and flirtatous one and Jayden was the goody-goody Ravenclaw who always tried to turn Riley's path around, but it wasn't working.

Growing up as a child in Ottery St. Catchpole, Alexander was almost always away from the hustle and bustle of London and, of course, the Muggles that inhabited and scoured over it. That was only true until his first visit to Diagon Alley. He was immediately enamored by the abundant selection of wizarding knick knacks and gadgets. Everyone was having a wonderful time...until they noticed his family standing near by. Knockturn Alley, on the other hand, gave him a whole new, but refreshing sensation. A chance to experience the best of both worlds. It was a dark, ominous and silent grouping of buildings and streets. The loudest noises that penetrated the air were the sharp caws of the crows. No one dared to speak above a whisper in this town. No one knew who to trust, and whom not to. But it certainly did not bother the little Slytherin-to-be one bit. People cringed into a bow and made way while the Rookwood family passed by. Even at that age Alex enjoyed the power and spoil of being one of the oldest Death Eater families in wizarding society.
By now, Alexander Rookwod had made his way from the sleek and glamerous, yet somewhat gloomy Slytherin common room up to the main entrance. When he first came to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the place was an utter jungle. What, with its endless moving stairs and abundance of levels that it housed. Of course most first year students probably felt the same way. But with his intellect, Alex was able to map his way around quite quickly. Yes, yes the Slytherin boy thought he was quite the smarty pants. But truth be told, he was. Always near the top of his class when it came to the 'important subjects' and lazily coasted by in the dreary ones. Ruthlessly arrogant, clever and devilishly charming. A rather potent mix.
He breathed in the brisk autumn air while strolling through the courtyard, thankful that he was finally out of that dungeon deathtrap called the Slytherin common room. Wherever Alexander went, eyes shifted back and forth. Conversations between friends were stunted into awkward, ominouus whispers. To be perfectly honest, he was used to that sort of treatment. It would have been an understatement to say Alex had a notorious reputation around the prestigious school.
For some odd reason or another, Alexander found himself climbing up the Slytherin stands at the Quidditch Pitch. The air was cool and revitalizing. An indication that the worst of the winter was yet to come. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a figure in the distance. It seemed to be a girl. Her luscious blonde hair was brightened by the sunset on the horizon. Figuring it would be worth his while, the Slytherin boy hopped down and began walking toward the mystery girl.
As he began getting closer to her, Alexander recognized her to be a Slytherin housemate of his: Riley Prince. A smile graced the corner of his lips as he took a minute to take in her stunningly attractivve looks. They were both seventh year, Pureblood Slytherins. What more was there to say? Tip-toeing up behind her, Alex whispered in Riley's ear. "Writing aboout me there, beautiful?"

Riley continued to write in her journal and watch the sunset as it lit up the sky in oranges and reds. A few clouds were moving in so it made the sky even more eerie looking, which Riley liked. She did not like very hot and sunny days much, but she loved the rainy, stormy days. Those days were calming and relaxing and an excuse for Riley not to do anything for awhile those days until she really needed to.
As she sat back and wrote, she did not see a figure moving up into the stands, as she was wrapped up in her journaling and looking at the sunset. It wasn't until she heard a faint whisper in her ear when she startled a bit and turned around, hoping it was not some first year or someone else pulling a prank or she may have had to jinx them. No. It was none other than Alexander Rookwood, Slytherin, seventh year and pureblood. And, in Riley's mind, full of hottness and sexiness. When she had turned around to see it was him, she smiled flirtatously.
"You never know what I could be writing, I may be writing about you and all your cuteness and sexiness," Riley said beaming in her smile. She had to admit, she loved every guy that came near her that was worth talking to and such, but Alex was her number one favorite. There was just something about him that made him some dang lovable...besides his good looks.

Alexander Rookwood kneeled beside Riley as she turned to flash him an attractive, flirtatious smile. Though it was certainly true that she had been starteled by him. Riley clung to her journal and kept her eyes on him. Alex returned the favor meeting her deep, penetrating eyes. He could not pretend that he was not fascinated by her. Riley Prince was quite the physically attractive specimen. And she never ceased to do wonders for his already massive ego, labeling him as "sexy", "cute" or "hot". A small smirk graced Alexander's lips as he could feel her warm breath permeating his profile. His eyes roamed her the flawless crevasses of her face. Obviously his customary greeting.
Alexander dared to sit close to Riley. one arm around her waist, keeping them close together on this rather chilly autumn evening. The sun was almost set, but as it reached the horizon, flashes of oranges and red coloured the entire sky and its ambience. It was fleeting, but it helped keep Alex just a little bit warmer. His other arm reached over to tug at her journal playfully, an innocent grin upon his face. Though it probably would not help his case, it was always fun to play around with a rather attractive girl such as Riley. "You never know what I could be writing. I may be writing about you and all your cuteness and sexiness." There it was again. That feeling of euphoria when his ego is upped once more. And of course the fact that Riley Prince was quite open about just how sexy Alexander Rookwood was.
Though Riley had always been one to melt easily for Alexander and always treated him welll, it could not be said the same for many other unfortunate lads. She was a blood purist Slytherin at heart and Alex had a hunch that she would make a very good Dark Knight for Olivia. Riley Prince was quick to snap back at you at the slightest sign of dislike she had for you. The first impression was quite important for her. Luckily, Alexander was rather gifted with that. He inched toward her, still tugging at the journal clutched in her tanned arms. "You do wonders for my ego. Now you've got me really interested in the contents of that journal. What's it gonna take to let me take a peek?" said Alex, with a suggestive smirk accompanied soon by a wink.

Oh the flirting that Riley always got herself caught up in, especially when it was around Alex. She could not explain it, but all she could do was do more of it. Sure, it had led to snogging in the past, which of course, she did not mind that one bit. And her sister always hated the fact that she snogged every guy she came in contact with or pretty much all not every single guy.
When Alex kneeled next to her and got close to her, she smiled even more as she got close to his closeness, for when the sun starting setting behind the hill, it did indeed get a little chilly. But what more than two warm bodies sitting close to each other to keep warm. She loved beefing up his ego with all the labeling she had for him and flirting she did with him. She could easily see herself with him, but she knew that he really was not ready to commit to anyone yet, so the flirting and snogging would have to do for now.
As they sat there, he started tugging at her journal she had clutched in her arms. Smiling, she would not let go of it. She heard his words, "You do wonders for my ego. Now you've got me really interested in the contents of that journal. What's it gonna take to let me take a peek?". She laughed a bit as she thought of many things in her mind. One in particular dealt with the fact that the Yule Ball was coming up and she would give anything to have a date to the thing, instead of being her sister and going alone, course, her sister did not like guys the way she did which did not bother Riley, in fact she could care less about her sister's love life that seemed to be non-existant. Jayden would be the miss goody-goody to go with some muggle-born, Gryffindor who was on the good side and such. Riley loved her bad boys.
"Well, there is one thing I am thinking of that you could do and perhaps I would let you look at it," Riley said thinking of what was in her journal, which was mainly about her sister, which of course was always complaining about how Jayden tried to make Riley's life miserable with tattaling on her like she was a prefect and sorts like that, different days, classes and perhaps a bit about Alex and other friends and guys.
