THE ANIMAL IN ME
Faolan found himself in the shadow of the entryway to the common room only to see himself merely feet away, sitting in one of the chairs by the fire. As he looked on, there was no doubt in his mind that it felt like an out of body experience; his sole purpose was to watch. From what he could tell in the dim lighting, his other self had a grim, distant expression on his face as he watched the fire. Faolan’s eyes squinted slightly as he scrutinized his other figure, wondering if that was how he looked before...It was then Hector stormed in and Faol had to jump out of the way to avoid collision. A bit unnerved to see what appeared to be the memory of what had happened only hours before, his eyes were now glued on every reaction between his doppleganger and his friend. The beginning was how he remembered it; Hector was furious and his other form tried to calm him down before they went too far. It was already known his housemate had a hotter temper than he, so it was normal for him to be the better man to cool him down. However, once again Faolan found himself being hit below the belt with insults toward him in regards to his father. Hector had no idea that he had talked to him merely a couple days before. He didn’t know that his nerves were already frayed and he had to go there....
The real fight began again right before Faolan’s eyes, each blow matching the ones each one received. Though, right in the middle, where he bit Hector’s shoulder, his other self managed to break free of his friend before he could returned the favor like last time. Subconsciously Faolan touched where Hector’s bite should have been, but nothing was there. A slow moment passed as he watched the features on his face darken as he licked the lingering blood from his lips and teeth, reveling in the taste as he eyed Hector hungrily, as if wanting more. ‘Bloody Hell’ was all he could think as he was forced to watch on. It was then waves of emotion hit him like a bludger on steroids, his heart now beating a mile a minute. Within a flash his other self took out a knife and he could feel himself intending to cut off another piece, If hector wasn’t his friend, he’d be his prey. Faolan’s eyes widened in shock for he knew what was about to happen. The doppleganger leapt forward and dug the knife in his friends heart, twisting it to assure he was dead....By that time he was yelling at himself to stop, but nothing came out, no matter how hard he tried. Even when he saw that he was about to eat him....
Just before the final image formed, Faolan’s eyes opened wide, his heart still racing as he to panicked breaths. Looking around in hopes to see that his dream was a dream, he looked to the neighboring bed to find Hector sound asleep. At least he still remained alive. Too worked up to lay back down, even with most of his wounds still fresh, he got up from the bed and tiredly staggered toward the corridor that led to the clock tower that joined the Wing. Since most of his injuries had been on his chest, he had taken the tattered shirt off, no for the moment all he had on were his slacks. He could feel the cold breeze against his skin as he made it to the outer stone courtyard that lined the clock. Leaning against the rail, his breathing had finally slowed as the shock wore off, though the dream was still vivid in his mind that he couldn’t keep from playing the bloody scenes over again in his weary head. What worried him the most was how in Divinations they say dreams contained meaning and truth. If that was true...he had a right to be scared...Jumping slightly when he heard someone behind him, he jerked his head in the direction of the sound to see who it was.

Heading out of the common room, Sierra was fuming. She couldnt beleive what they had done, her brother and the person she had spent the full moon with. So they thought that destroying a common room was they way to go about this? She knew that Hector wouldnt have taken it well, and he would have taken it harder since Faolon was his best friend and all but he didnt have to turn all protector freak on her. Someone from her house had just finished telling her the story, after she had heard it from a ravenclaw who had been in the same room as them. She ran a hand through her long hair as she walked, her sneakers making noise in the corridors as she walked. Yes it was late at night and no she didnt have permission to be out of Bed. But hey she needed to give them a piece of her mind.
Ignoring the mean words coming from the paintings and the pictures about the light her wand was making She climbed the stairs to the hospital wing, not bothering with the secret passagways and all, if a teacher found her she was simply going to say she was going to see her brother in the hospital wing, after all, they couldnt really argue with that could they. She hadnt even bothered to get dressed properly. She had on her pink singlet, yes the damn thing was pink and the white shorts that she slept it. He sneakers were pulled in without socks and he hair was just flowing down her back, she hadnt bothered with anything. She had been about to head to bed when she had heard what happened so, she hadnt eactly thought.
She reached the top of the stairs that lead to the hospital wing and she saw someone standing in the yard next to it, leaning on the rail and he eyes narrowed slightly. It was Faolan, what was he doing out here. She walked toward him the anger boiling up in her blood, until she caught sight of him and she faltered slightly. He didnt look to good, and if the cuts were anything do go by it hadnt been a very good fight, so his front was probably worse. She chewed her lip as she felt the anger etch away and it was replaced with something new. She started to move toward him again, She sow his head jerk toward her and she tried to make her expression look neutral, like she was still mad at him but she couldnt make herslef be mad, she just couldnt.
She walked over to him and leant on the railing next to him, hoping he wouldnt run like he had last time. "It's only me faol . . " She said softly, seeing something had spooked him she just didnt know what. From here she could see most of his injuries, and before she could stop herself her hand was moving toward his chest, and she made to run her fingers gently along one of the gashes, she didnt touch it thought. "What did he do to you . . " She said softly She looked up at his face her eyes searching his face. She bit her lip and looked at him again. Not sure what she was feeling, mad he had fought with her brother, but mad her brother had done this to the one she tought she was falling for.

THE ANIMAL IN ME
As soon as his gaze fell on Sierra, an odd mix of emotions surged through his body. Part of his muscles wanted to be tense, angry that she got him in this mess. Though, another part of him wanted to feel relaxed or reassured. He wasn't really sure how he was suppose to greet her, and being still dazed and preoccupied with his nightmares, Faolan was for once slow on the draw.
His dark eyes just followed her every move until she came by the rail. suspicious of what she really wanted. Even though he had known her for years, there was still some things he was wary about. She was a Slytherin, so revenge and cunning was their specialty. She had been the one to seduce him, but he had hurt her brother in the process. H was in no mood for either of those reactions. There was no way he would fall for her charm like that again.
If he had been in wolf form, his ears would have been twitching to show indecisiveness and suspicion when she announced her presence. Why was she here, anyways? She should be in the other room tending to Hector, not him.
Stepping to the side, slightly, not ready to be that close again, he let out a small growl, almost to low to hear. Part of him still wanted her, to feel the warms of her embrace, but at what price? He nearly got shredded and lost his best mate, all for the sake of that forbidden night. He was a Ravenclaw, so at the moment he had no desire to repeat the mistake. He had worse things to deal with.
Even so, she still came closer, and gently attempted to touch the gashes. However, within a flash, his hand came quickly to grab her wrist. Now looking into her eyes, he said roughly, "Come ta see your handiwork, girlie?" H them briefly looked down at his injuries before looking back at her with an odd, almost devilish smile, "He fights like a girl..these are just over-sized paper cuts. Maybe you should go tend troll face instead.." His mile then faded to a colder expression as he looked her over once again, remembering that time together, "I betrayed him once, I won' do it again." He was somewhat baring his teeth as he said this before turning away.

As faolan grabbed her wrist, she tensed slightly. She had heard the growl that had escaped his mouth earlier, but she hadnt reacted to it, and she wasnt going too. But when his fingers touched her skin she felt the coldness that he was feeling, the confusion, she could see it easliy in his eyes and she frowned slightly. Her eyes narrowed slightly, and this time it was her turn to snarl. Her handwork!? She hadnt been the stupid idiot who had made him fight with her brother. Hell, it wasnt even her fault he had gone into the forrest with her. "My handiwork? . . This your handiwork Faol . . . i didnt force you to come into the forrest . . you came on your own . . and I didnt force you to fight with Hector . . you could have walked away" He said with a snalr, moving to rip her arm out of his grip and she stpped back from him.
She couldnt beleive him, she had come to see if he was okay, and he was being cold, his whole demeanor pointed to it and she shook her head. And even better, now he was insulting Hector to her face. Her eyes narrowed again and she shook her head. "Dont Faolan . . I didnt come here to listen to you Badmouth my older brother . . I came to see if you were okay . . and now I can see that there was really no fucking point to it . . i can see you could care less if I was here or not" She said with a shake of her head. She was trying hard not to look at him, fighting hard to keep her voice hard and he facial experssion cold. All she really wanted to do was feel his arms wrap around her and to be against his body, feeling his heat and knowing that she would be safe with him.
She heard his next words and he head shook in confusion. "How did you betray him!? It's really none of his concern what you and I do . . and I'm over this whole thing already . . okay! . . " She said, frustrated. She hated the fact her older brother thought he had a say in her life, especially on who she decided to be intimate with. It was like she could go and storm the ravenclaw common room and rip anyone he got to gether with to shreds . . She knew Hec would go ape on her. She shook her head and looked at him . "What . . so you absoulutley hated what we did . . . your telling me you felt nothing?" She said, her eyes watching him.
She bit her lip when he turned away. She didnt want him to go. She made to wrap her fingers gently around the top of his arm. Wanting to stop him and try and explain all this to him. She hadnt wanted this to happen, she wouldnt change anything about that night, but she would change what happened after it. "Dont go . . I came to see you" She said, the added meaning on the word you. She had come to see him, because for once in her life she was caring about someone who wasnt in her family.
