Lenna breathed a soft sigh out of her nose, running a hand through her neat hair and making sure it fell back in its part just so. She took the papers on her desk, filing them neatly into a folder and flinging her wand in two short motions to send it floating neatly and quickly into the proper filing cabinet. She walked around her desk, her heels clicking lightly on the floor, and walked over to the hook on the door to take down her work robs. Lenna slipped one arm in and then the other, fastening the button on her lime green St. Mungo's robe before walking out the door. As a young, healer-in-charge, Lenna had a lot of responsibilities.
There was administrative paperwork in addition to overseeing the care of patients. And on days when one of her healers fell ill themselves, Lenna would have to step in completely. Of course, field work was her favorite part of the job and she only took on the head position of the department in order to see everyone was receiving the best care. Plus, the pay bump did not hurt as she was still paying off a few loans from healer school. She slipped her wand in her pocket, the click of her heels echoing in the long hall that filtered out into the reception area.
Her eyes swept over the busy waiting area as she walked over to the reception desk, grabbing the first medical chart that had been set out. The small smile, usually in place upon her face, grew slightly as she looked at the name. Why would she be smiling at someone getting injured? Simple. The answer would be familiarity. "Jensen," she called over the murmur of voices, her eyes seeking out the familiar face with the seemingly magnetic blue eyes.
Jensen Ekern was one of her most frequent patients as were many of the professional quidditch players. There was always some sort of...something they had wrong. It was part of being a professional athlete, just as in the muggle world (an area of medicine with which Lenna was also familiar). In fact, for a time she thought of being an exclusive trainer for one of the quidditch teams. When there hadn't been some sort of broom or bludger accident, there were usually sore and/or twisted muscles for any number of players. Lenna had come to the conclusion she could be most useful at St. Mungo's and it would keep her farther away from touching scandalous men on a regular basis. That was something she thought she would just never get used to...

St. Mungo’s was a place that Jensen frequented. Now… that was an odd thing to say, since… why would anyone want to frequent a hospital? Well, this was obvious. Jensen Ekern was a chaser for the Appleby Arrows, and being that he was a professional quidditch player, it just so happened that he got injured quite often. For a quidditch chaser, it was quite odd that the man was rather clumsy… and not to mention the injury he was faced with today was a rather awkward one indeed. It was a cause for the man to be sitting in the reception area next to an elderly gentleman with a case of purple dots all over his face. Jensen tried his best to lean on the injured side, but he found it rather difficult, and he forced out a smile as the man smiled a toothless smile at him. Jensen wondered what type of artifact could have cause that…
Jensen had been practicing with the team… it was an all day practice, as they had a game against the Irish National Team that following Saturday. So, it was rather unfortunate that he’d gotten injured… but he figured that Lenna could do something for him. What had happened, was his teammate had tossed the quaffle in an odd fashion to the other chaser, and he had been in a rather off mood the entire practice, and completely missed the quaffle. Jensen, being the nice guy he was, dropped down quickly to catch the ball before it hit the ground, and the handle of his broom had caught on the pitch, and the stick cracked right in half! Now, given it was an old broom, one that Jensen had used for practice, but now he was going to have to use his regular game broom for practice and get a new game broom. Not that he didn’t’ have the money, it was just… something he would have to do to take time out of his day.
Now, what did he do that required his attendance at St. Mungo’s, you may ask? Since his broom merely cracked in half and he went stumbling down… well, he had hit his head rather hard on the pitch ground… but something else had happened, too. The thought brought color to the man’s cheeks, and he leaned further on his left side, as his right side was rather… sore. Jensen hoped that Lenna would be able to magic it out or something… it was in a rather… awkward place so Jensen wasn’t able to do it himself. And… a splinter counted as an artifact accident, right? Because it was his broom that had caused the splinter… on his… bum… Jensen chewed the inside of his lip and hoped that someone would call him back soon, since… the man was freaking him out. And not to mention his bum really hurt!
”Jensen.”
Lenna’s voice above the quiet murmur of the inhabitants of the lobby area rang clear as a bell. Jensen smiled, turning to face the woman before standing, and limping his way over to her. To everyone in the lobby, it would seem that he had maybe hurt his knee or had a muscle dysfunction or something of the sort. But between Jensen and in the near future, Lenna, it was going to be something rather awkward. Jensen tried to ease his… awkwardness… ”Hello, my mos’ favorite healer,” he grinned at her, waiting to start walking, as painful as that was going to be… ”Yeh’re lookin’ beautiful today, jus’ so yeh know.” Well, the thing about Lenna was she always looked beautiful, hair always in place, and always with a nice smile on her lips. She had very pretty greenish-blue eyes… And it was a very, very common thing for him to say something of the like to her… every time he saw her.

Her eyes caught Jensen's right as he stood, his mop of hair upon his head nearly obscuring his eyes. Somebody needs a haircut, she thought to herself in an amused rather than a judgmental fashion as Lenna wasn't the type to judge someone so much on their physical appearance. Although, she did prefer things neat and tidy. Plus, it helped to make eye contact with a patient. Her smile broadened as he smiled in her direction. It was after he took his first step that her brow furrowed just slightly, smile fading only a bit from her face. Of course every patient was injured, so why should it phase her particularly to see Jensen limp in such a fashion?
Lenna did care immensely for every one of her patients, but she knew how not to get too emotionally invested. It was something all healers or doctors dealt with, but something she needed to handle with care due to her susceptibility to depression. Just because a patient was having a hard time, did not mean she needed to have equally as hard of a time.
Now, Jensen's limp could be due to any number of things. Of course, his chart had been placed in the artifacts box instead of in the spell damage box or elsewhere. So, this meant that his injury was artifact induced, likely either by a broom, quaffle, or bludger. Her wasn't visibly bloodied, although he could have probably tidied that up on his clothes, so she guessed it wasn't a bludger. That was good as Lenna was aware of the Arrow's upcoming game.
”Hello, my mos’ favorite healer,”
Lenna blushed only slightly, used to such charming greetings from Jensen by this point. Of course, she was generally awkward with men in the first place so the blush wasn't completely alleviated. "And hello my most favorite patient," she responded in her light German accent, grinning. She glanced down at his chart, the cause of the problem for today not filled in yet. Lenna took a step, saying, "If you need to lean, you may do so," and patting her shoulder.
”Yeh’re lookin’ beautiful today, jus’ so yeh know.”
"Thank you, Jensen," she replied, averting her eye contact to the hall ahead of them and blushing just a bit more. Lenna breathed softly out of her nose. She should have been used to compliments from men by now, especially during work hours as that was when she was most likely to come in contact with them. Lenna didn't see herself ever fully adjusting to the flattery, but she managed to control her blushing so that it was at less than a normal level. After all, she was a professional in a work environment! Not that she would indulge in flirting or whatnot outside of work. No, Lenna didn't like men unless they...declared they liked her first. It was a rule she lived by.
She came to a door, standing besides it and holding out her hand for Jensen to enter first, a small smile on her face..well, one that had never left even with the compliments. Just because she was affected by flattery, didn't mean it surprised her all the time. "And you know the drill. Just take a seat," she said, gesturing to the bed in the room and closing the door behind them. "So, Jensen what seems to be the problem today?" She pulled up a rolling chair from a desk so that she was sitting across from Jensen who was supposedly on the bed.

Jensen smiled a typical smile in Lenna’s direction. She was such a nice lady… and very hardworking as she was already the head of her department. Of course, there were other reasons, too, that Jensen liked her.
”And hello my most favorite patient. If you need to lean, you may do so.”
Jensen nodded slightly, knowing that he probably should have told the receptionist what was wrong. But of course, it was rather awkward to tell someone that you’ve got a piece of wood stuck in your… well… bum. Especially the old-ish receptionist that stared you down over the top of her glasses and sighed when you looked around awkwardly. But Jensen softly took hold of her shoulder that she had offered and miraculously he was able to walk. Well, not really. But enough so that it didn’t hurt as much when he did. ”Yeh’re lookin’ beautiful today, jus’ so yeh know.”
”Thank you, Jensen.”
Jensen kept a soft smile on his lips as he limped down the hall with Lenna’s help. He kept his eyes on the floor as to not trip over anything. He’d managed that one already, and it was not the most comforting thing to land flat on your bum. Especially the side that you’d… punctured with a piece of wood. Yeah.
”And you know the drill. Just take a seat.”
Jensen walked… rather, limped into the room that Lenna gestured to him. Jensen hated going to the doctors… even at St. Mungo’s it was particularly similar to a muggle doctor’s office. White walls, some random painting of a flower hanging on the wall… But that didn’t matter so much. Jensen hopped onto the bed, his legs and side that was injured dangled off. Jensen let out a quiet, barely audible sigh as he rested his hands in his lap. He watched as Lenna came in and closed the door… see, with her in the room, you didn’t need color or beautiful paintings.
”So, Jensen what seems to be the problem today?”
Jensen fidgeted with his hands a bit. He looked down at his shoes. He looked up at the ceiling. And he was probably making things quite awkward. ”Well… I er… crashe’ my broom.”

Jensen sat on the bed just as Lenna had turned around to pull the rolling stool closer to her, turning around and settling her tush down on the cushiony seat. It was as she scooted towards him that her right brow raised. Jensen was sitting on the bed, but not exactly sitting. It was more like half sitting...on the bed. Lenna assumed that his leg must have been bothering him or something? But, of course, he also wasn't quite sitting which would suggest it involved his gluteus maximus as well. Maybe he strained something in his leg, which made it tense to sit on that side of his rear end?
Oh well, Lenna would find out soon enough after she asked him what the problem was. But, the problem was that Jensen wasn't really making eye contact. Well, he wasn't making eye contact at all. His shoes and the ceiling were apparently very interesting to him at this very moment. Lenna was a polite woman, one for manners but also patient. She sighed, long and silently out of her nose, eyes narrowing and brow furrowing lightly in curiosity although the small smile would not leave her face. Were things awkward? Yes, she supposed so but it wasn't anything she wasn't used to. In a professional environment, Lenna could tolerate awkwardness to a much greater degree than she could in her personal life.
”Well… I er… crashe’ my broom.”
"Mmm, how unfortunate," she commented, slight frown upon her features for but a moment before she got up from her stool and set her pad down on it. Lenna took a step toward him. "Any dizziness, light-headedness, nausea?" she asked, taking the stethoscope from around her neck, placing it in her ears and pressing it to one side of his chest. "Deep breath in and out please," she said, moving to the other side of his chest and politely requesting "And again." It was just routine.

Ah the awkwardity of doctor visits. It was almost as awkward as the “bend and cough,” but Jensen wasn’t quite sure how he felt about Lenna examining his bum. Well… not like it was weird. It was just skin, but it was still rather scandalous. And he wasn’t sure how Lenna felt about that… but then again, she was a healer and healer’s probably saw things like that every day. But then again, she was in artifact accidents. And of course Jensen would be one that would end up with a piece of a broom jabbed in his arse.
”Mmm, how unfortunate.”
”Yeh, now I’ve to ge’ another. No big deal…” he said quietly, wondering what type of broom he’d get. Since… his game broom was now his practice broom and all.
”Any dizziness, light-headedness, nausea? Deep breath in and out please. And again.”
”Nah. A couple of grass stains though,” Jensen chuckled, jokingly. Anything to avoid the future of his and his doctor’s relationship… then again, she was just his doctor. Just. Jensen breathed in and out as she had asked, trying to keep himself from blushing from the touch by thinking of different things, like crashing his broom and his dog. It worked… as he felt calm, and he thought he’d be able to tell her what head happened now. Jensen opened his mouth to speak but, no words came out. Instead he just looked at Lenna a moment and blinked. ”Well, yeh see…” Jensen ran a hand through his mop of hair, ”when the broom cracke’… some of it… well… some of it… lodge’ itself…” Jensen casually pointed down. Down to you know where. His bum, silly! ”I go’ it ou’, it just still hurts…” Jensen couldn’t stop the blush from taking over his cheeks this time.

”Yeh, now I’ve to ge’ another. No big deal…”
Lenna nodded. Broom crashes was not something she was a stranger to in the artifact accidents department. Of course, usually there was a visible artifact present that had caused the accident. Usually, but not always as seemed to be the case here. At this point, Lenna was inclined to think that Jensen had just incurred a sprain of some sort from the way he was able to just barely lean on her in the hall and still walk. Then again, he was a professional quidditch player and his pain threshold could be quite high. Besides, he was a man and men didn't quite like to look weak in front of women. She smiled lightly, always the optimist without being unrealistic. "Just think of it as a surprise chance to upgrade," she suggested, a bit of cheer in her tone.
She moved on in healer mode, asking him about signs of a concussion, though there was no visible head trauma. He didn't seem delusional in the slightest, either. Of course, it was always important to be sure of certain basic things. This was why she listened to his lungs.
”Nah. A couple of grass stains though.”
She smiled, amused, letting out a barely there giggle. "Those are much more easily tended to than a concussion, at least," Lenna stated in another positive comment. Her eyes then focused on his free wrist, which he wasn't balancing himself on. Lenna turned it over in her hand, placing two fingers carefully to obtain a pulse. At the same time she shook her sleeve back and focused on her watch, completely missing Jensen's search for words.
Lenna wasn't phased from proximity to patients, even male ones. Although, outside the office close contact with a man could easily fluster her. Not that she got close to men outside of work, because she really didn't. In truth, Lenna didn't have much of a life outside of work. Work was something she was dedicated to and serious about, deriving great pleasure from helpings others in such a way. Lenna felt his heart beat beat quicken in the last moment she held her finger to his wrist.
”Well, yeh see…”
She let go, a patient expression on her face as she watched him search for words while he ran a hand through his hair, noting again that he probably at least needed a trim. Lenna picked his chart up, flipping through and sitting back down at the stool, looking up at him. Her quill was gently poised to note his ailment.
”when the broom cracke’… some of it… well… some of it… lodge’ itself…”
Lenna had begun writing, eyes flickering down to her paper as she did so. With her left hand, she brushed some hair behind one ear. The woman was a clueless sort at times, really. She noted a pause in his voice and his awkwardness in explaining, looking up from her chart casually only to catch Jensen's gesture to his bum.
”I go’ it ou’, it just still hurts…”
Her eyes flickered to his hovering bum, her eyebrows raising slightly and her lips parting just a bit in surprise. Professional manner, Lenna reminded herself. But, it was really of little use. It had been such a long time since she had to look at a patients private areas in such away, let alone a male patient. Why, she must have been in healer school the last time such a thing occurred! "Oh...well.." she said, her eyes flickering back up to Jensen's face to note the blush on his cheeks, her own lightly flushed in response.
"There is probably a splinter in there from you pulling it out, but I can take care of it." Lenna forced the small smile to remain on her face. "You'll just have to.." she said, her voice trailing off as she pushed her stool back over to the desk, grabbing an apron out of the drawer and setting it at the end of the bed. Yes, one of those aprons commonly known as a hospital gown. Back access.
"put on one of these. I'll step out of the room to allow you some privacy. Just knock on the door when you're finished and I'll wait a moment and then come in." Professional. Professional. Lenna nodded once, reassuring herself more than the patient, before she turned and walked out the door. Only when she was outside, the door closed behind her did she let out a long, soft sigh. Her hands fluttered to her cheeks, which were now warm as she was away from her patient, his chart tucked under her arm.

”Those are much more easily tended to than a concussion, at least.”
Jensen smiled when Lenna giggled lightly. He didn’t miss it, and he was glad that he could procure a giggle out of her. Jensen wasn’t really a hit with the ladies, and he struck out… a lot. Just like most of his creator’s characters. Not that he was trying to get a hit here, just… it brought up his self esteem a little bit when he was able to do such things.
Jensen sat quietly as Lenna took his pulse and did other such healer-ly things. He didn’t mind so much those things, as they were…standard. But what was to come, like the way he was going to awkwardly tell her that he had a puncture wound in his bum… oh how ridiculous he felt.
”Oh…well..”
Jensen shoved his bottom lip between his teeth and bit down, hoping the blush on his face wasn’t very obvious. But it probably was, as he could sort of feel heat emanating… he made slight awkward eye contact with Lenna before looking down and doing one of those awkward cough moves. His right hand quickly slid through his hair again before dropping it once more.
”There is probably a splinter in there from you pulling it out, but I can take care of it. You’ll just have to…”
Yeah, he was sure she could take care of it. That’s why he had come to her, wasn’t it? That and he trusted her… well, more that he liked to see her cute face. But that was probably the first thing on his mind when he showed up at St. Mungo’s, because surely he would have rather had a man look at his bum. Because it wasn’t that awkward that way, right? Well, at this moment, that’s what Jensen was wishing had happened instead. It was more than likely possible that he would have seen her… since she was the head of the department and all…
”Put on one of these. I’ll step out of the room to allow you some privacy. Just knock on the door when you’re finished and I’ll wait a moment and then come in.”
Jensen nodded and glanced at the hospital gown that lay on the end of the bed. He sighed barely audible, as this was where it was going to begin to get awkward. Well, of course, more awkward than it already was, of course. Because… it was already awkward now that she knew that she would be looking at his bum. And Jensen knew that she would be looking at his bum. And that wouldn’t be very… well… it would be… wouldn’t be…. Jensen didn’t know.
When Lenna was out of the room, Jensen hopped lightly off of the bed, and pulled his shirt over his head. He didn’t want to do this probably as much as Lenna did, but he had to. The last thing he wanted was to get lock-jaw from a broom puncture wound. Lock jaw was not a good thing, of course. Jensen put the apron thing on and then lost his pants. Yeah. He didn’t to do that… his bottom lip found its way in between his teeth again, and he whinced a little as his underwear brushed against the wound. Luckily he had been able to do a spell to stop the bleeding… Jensen quickly and gently knocked on the door and hobbled back to the bed where he put himself back on. He felt rather awkward, and… oh, it was just awkward.

It's just a bum, Lenna repeated to herself over and over again. Okay, this was kind of a big deal for her. She didn't regularly see naked patients - especially male patients due to the nature of accidents with which her department dealt. That, and if Lenna knew there was going to be nudity involved, she could just skip out on that case. She was, after all, the healer in charge. She didn't have to see her own load of patients. Her job was to oversee and delegate. It just happened that today, she did have to see patients. Of course, she could always switch with someone else, but at this point it would only serve to make things more awkward in the long run. Besides, that would be awfully unprofessional for her to have to do.
It was just that Lenna was a modest woman. She didn't gawk at men in the first place and she wasn't one to have a relationship. Lenna had a strict rule that she would not feel anything for a man unless she knew, beyond a reasonable doubt, that he had feelings for her. Real feelings beyond lust, which was often hard to come by when Lenna hardly even flirted with men. She didn't really get out much from work. And when she did, she never took men home. She wasn't a flinging type of woman. The only naked men's butts she had seen were her one ex's and then certain patients. Lenna wasn't a regular bum viewer was all...it was...oh this was just too much.
But! It couldn't be! She patted her hands on her cheeks, taking a few calming breaths so that the blush would fade. This was business. She could be professional. All was good. And then that slight knock startled her heart, it skipping suddenly. She gulped, taking another deep breath and straightening up as she counted to ten in her head. On the count of ten she walked in the room and smiled softly at Jensen, looking right at him but not really at him. Her eyes were on him, but she was trying not to really process that dark haired, gorgeously blue eyed Arrows player that sat naked (aside from a hospital gown) on a bed before her.
Lenna walked over to the bed, setting his chart aside on the desk before hand. It was time to get down to business. And literally, get down. "Alright Jensen, just stand up for me and I'll take a look," she said, her voice gentle and in a professional manner. Her job meant so much to her, she was determined to do it right and not let something as silly as nudity interfere with her capability to work. When he got up, assuming he also turned for her, Lenna gently brushed the back of his robe open, eyes wide and cheeks deepening in color immediately. NAKED BUM.
And a fair one at that...no...no she did not just go there with that thought! But she did. She swallowed, completely flustered, quickly remembering what she was supposed to be doing. Her eyes darted to his right side, seeing nothing. She brushed that side of the robe farther forward. "You can hold this gown right here for me," she said, holding it and waiting for him to take it. Lena grabbed gloves out of the pocket of her robes and inspected the wound, looking at it carefully. The blush was slowly fading from her cheeks as she was concentrated on the wound aspect rather than the aspect of nudity.
"I see you obviously stopped the bleeding," she said, noting the gash from where the broom had penetrated the side of his right cheek. All around it were visible splinters. Of course, there was also the risk of infection. "I'm assuming it's very tender," she stated, just brushing her thumb over it in the gentlest of fashions. "We'll disinfect and I'll use an extracting spell for the massive amount of splinters. It will take awhile, because it requires precision, but it will be fine. And then you'll also need a tetanus shot as a precaution." All the while, she was still bent over and examining his bum, completely in her healer zone and not realizing how awkward the situation must be for Jensen.
She took off her gloves, pocketing them for the time being and taking the gown that was near to Jensen's hand to pull it back closed, accidentally and just barely brushing his hand in the process. It's alright, Lenna, she assured herself in her head as she stepped around to face him, looking quite composed. "I'm going to go get the materials for the shot, so you'll have about 5 minutes before I come back. Does all this sound okay with you, Jensen? Any questions?"

Jensen wondered what other types of accidents that Lenna dealt with. Surely… she had seen something like this before? And Jensen had thought that his broom had a charm on it to prevent things like this from happening… but apparently not. That, or someone took the charm off it from his team as a joke and something bad had actually happened whether they were expecting it to or not. But that didn’t matter. Jensen actually felt rather awful for making Lenna look at his bum. His naked bum. As if he felt that Lenna knew him quite well before, well… she was going to know him even better after this, and they weren’t even an item.
But then again, the next person to know just as much about yourself as you, is your doctor… isn’t that how it goes? But Jensen of course didn’t think that the doctor that would know the most about him apart from himself would be his usual artifact accidents healer. No indeed. Jensen hadn’t been to an annual check-up in a long time… so this was the most awkward thing in awhile for him.
So he sat patiently as he waited for Lenna to come back into the little room. Soon she would open the door, and then tell him to stand up and then turn around… and then she would be looking at his bum! Oh. Jensen… was self-conscious as it was, and naked? Well, that was just another part of the story! Jensen looked down at the tiled floor as Lenna came back in, and dared to glance at her a moment and give her a look that was completely apologetic in nature. ”Alright Jensen, just stand up for me and I’ll take a look.” Jensen did as he was told and turned for her, before she could tell him to do so. Jensen felt movement at the back of his robe and he shoved his bottom lip between his teeth to keep himself from moving around or something. ”You can hold this gown right here for me.” Jensen took hold of the gown as she had asked, and tensed his legs a little bit, and stood as still as he possibly could. He shifted most of his weight onto his left side. ”I see you obviously stopped the bleeding. I’m assuming it’s very tender.” Jensen tensed at her gentle touch on it. Not that it was the thought of her touching his bum! But more of… ouch. She’s touching my bum. But then again… how many times can someone say that a pretty lady touched their naked bum? Oh, Jensen! He focused on the faucet that arched its way into the sink, getting his thoughts away from Lenna and her hand that was touching his bum. ”Jus’ a little,” he managed to squeak out, eyes still trained on the silver faucet. ”We’ll disinfect and I’ll use an extracting spell for the massive amount of splinters. It will take awhile, because it requires precision, but it will be fine. And then you’ll also need a tetanus shot as a precaution.” Jensen felt his head bob slowly, and he glanced down at Lenna who was still hunched over, staring at his bum. Yes. Wonderful. Jensen coughed lightly, glancing over at the faucet again. Jensen wasn’t paying attention to Lenna and what she was doing. He didn’t want to think about the situation, and he didn’t want to think that… but he did. He was thinking about Lenna because she had just touched his bum! Sure, she had gloves on, but that was… yeah. Of course, he should have come to expect that, but it was still unexpected. Jensen took his left hand and ran it through his hair, letting go of the gown as he felt Lenna reach for it. He, however, did not feel Lenna brush his hand, so of course she should have nothing to worry about there. ”I’m going to go get the materials for the shot, so you’ll have about 5 minutes before I come back. Does all this sound okay with you, Jensen? Any questions?” Jensen shook his head slowly, raising an eyebrow at Lenna. ”Nah, it’s all goo’.” Jensen hopped however slowly back on the bed to wait.[/blockquote]

”Nah, it’s all goo’.”
Lenna nodded once, promptly. "Alright, then. I'll be back in 5," she said, before smiling softly and exiting. As soon as the door was shut behind Lenna she sighed, cursing under her breath softly. "Oh bloody hell." A few fingers fluttered to her lips, resting on them lightly as her brow furrowed in a perplexed fashion. At least she had held her composure in there, focused on her work rather than her place in an awkward situation. It was at this thought that she realized the fingers upon her lips were that of the hand that had brushed against Jensin's bum.
Lenna's eyes widened at the sudden realization, pulling her fingers quickly away from her lips. This was too much for her, but it couldn't be. She needed to do her job and if she couldn't carry this through without blushing the entire time, Jensen might never come to see her again. It wasn't that Lenna wanted Jensen to get injured and come visit her. She had just learned that it was a regular thing she could depend on and he was such a wonderful patient. She had a habit, since her promotion, of just sweeping him off another healer's schedule and taking the time to see him herself.
Of course, this was just because Jensen was a good patient. It was unprofessional to see patients or develop a thing for them. Besides, Lenna didn't develop things. It wasn't in her nature. She did not have intimate feelings for anyone unless she knew that the chance of initial rejection was 0 percent. And that was a hard thing to figure out without someone outright declaring that they liked you. And how could someone like you if you didn't do the typical flirting and such because that required an interest? Yes, this was why Lenna was...alone.
Her heels clicked down the hallway as she straightened up and made her way to a room where she grabbed a proper needle and what she needed for the tetanus shot. Lenna walked with a little plastic basket, filled with the supplies, quickly back to the room. Nearly 5 minutes had lapsed when she entered the room again, announcing herself with a knock beforehand. The smile reappeared upon her face with determination. Though, her stomach was oddly in a light set of knots as soon as she looked into Jensen's eyes.
"Alright. So, the disinfecting gets done the old fashioned way though the coldness should feel good on it. If you would just..um.." She moved her left index finger in a slight circular motion, indicating that Jensen should turn around. Of course, she kicked herself for the um in her mind. She turned to reach into a drawer in the desk and then turned back, a bottle in her hand and a cotton ball in the other. The basket she had carried in had been set down on the desk.
Lenna sat in the stool, lowering it to the appropriate level and scooting towards him. Of course, she had also already put her gloves back on. So..she was just...on level with his bum. Lenna pulled his gown aside once more, saying, "If you would hold this again for me Jensen, that would be perfect." Lenna positioned her right hand above the wound and the splinters, two fingers resting lightly on the skin to steady the skin as she gently wiped a wet and cold cotton ball over the wound. "Cold?" she asked as she wiped at the wound carefully, knowing it would be. Lenna bit her lip lightly, the tiniest smile forming on her lips as she concentrated on thoroughly disinfecting the area, and catching her mind wandering..or rather her eyes wandering maybe briefly once..or even twice.

Jensen… didn’t know what to say or do or think. Or rather, just say or think. Because at the moment he was supposed to just stay put on the bed until she got back. He was rather nervous, because… well… no girl had ever seen his naked bum aside from his two former girlfriends. Well… they were well, uh… unimportant at this point in time. Jensen was one of those guys that say “what’s done is done,” and don’t dwell on the past. His former girlfriends were… pretty much gone from his mind. The man was left only with mental pictures. Not that he focused, of course. Just… yeah. They were the only people who’d ever seen his naked bum until now. Jensen sighed lightly, and quickly focused on the floor when he heard the door click again, announcing Lenna’s arrival.
”Alright. So, the disinfecting gets done the old fashioned way though the coldness should feel good on it. If you would just..um..” Jensen knew what that meant. He gently hopped off of the bed again and turned, not exactly sure what Lenna wanted of him. So he thought he’d just stand there. Because it was awkward enough that he was standing there in a hospital gown and she had gloves on and he was naked. Yes, it was awkward. And if it already wasn’t awkward enough, she was lowering her stool and was probably now level with his bum. Aye. Wonderful. ”If you would hold this again for me Jensen, that would be perfect.” Yes. Perfect indeed. Jensen did as he was told and held tight, the cold liquid made his skin tense. ”Cold?” Jensen shook his head no and said “nope,” but of course, it was cold. The man shoved his bottom lip back between his teeth. Jensen wondered what could be running through Lenna’s mind. There he was, a puncture wound in his bum, not to mention his bum was completely there, like, right in her face there… and it was awkward for him, knowing that her hands were there, on his bum, and her eyes were there, on his bum. But what could she be thinking? Because, it probably wasn’t the most pleasing thing for her either, considering… it was his bum. And it wasn’t like he was a boyfriend or anything, or even a potential boyfriend, because… she was probably a professional and didn’t date her patients or probably even her co-workers. Yes, that professional. Just like Jensen didn’t date his teammates. He wouldn’t say no to other players, of course, but not teammates. But how would he feel if he knew that he had somewhat of a crush on her? He didn’t, of course, or rather, he didn’t realize it.[/blockquote]

"Nope."
Lenna smile at once, pursing her lips as she worked her cotton ball across his wound. "Jensin," was all she said in response, the amused tone obvious in her voice as she finished disinfecting the wound. "Alright so now comes the more uncomfortable part," she said putting it lightly. Extraction spells were not pleasant in the least. In fact, it was quit painful, or so Lenna had observed. She had never used it or been treated with it herself. But, her patients usually more than winced. It was more precise than a pair of tweezers or at least faster. And it was better for the skin, or so research had shown. So, the magical extraction spell was replaced the use of muggle tweezers. And that's just how things went.
"It will probably feel like a sharp pain, but it should dull quickly afterward," Lenna informed him. She rolled over to the desk, pulling out a magnifying glass from the drawer and rolling back over to Jensin and his bum, though really only half of it was exposed as his gown was draped over the other half. She scooted a bit back from him and held the magnifying glass towards the wound, locating the first splinter. "Here it goes," Lenna said, lifting her wand slightly and pointing it precisely as she whispered an incantation under her breath. The first splinter came whizzing out, Lenna flicking her wand so it would fly over to the trashcan, which stayed open for convenience. Lenna did the next two splinters before stopping and asking, "Are you okay to keep going? There was probably about 20 larger ones and then 10 or so less noticeable ones."

”Alright so now comes the more uncomfortable part.” Yes, this was probably the part where Jensen was going to either whince in pain or grab tightly onto the bed so he wouldn’t scream out or something. No, Jensen had a higher pain tolerance than that… much higher. How different could an extraction spell be from the pair of tweezers his mum used to use when he’d get a splinter as a child? Probably not as painful, as the tweezers would pinch his skin, and a wand… would not. Much better, if you think about it. ”It will probably feel like a sharp pain, but it should dull quickly afterward.” Jensen chuckled lightly. Yeah. ”I’m sure it will be pleasan’,” he joked, giving Lenna one quick glance before turning his head back to the wall in front of him. ”Besides, I only trus’ the bes’,” Jensen grinned to himself. ”Here it goes.” Jensen leaned with his hand onto the bed, so… just in case his pain tolerance was not as high as he had thought, he would have something right there to hold on to. Jensen sat quietly, and he heard Lenna mutter something under her breath, and just as she had said, a shooting pain ran through him. It wasn’t as bad as he had thought, so it wasn’t as if he flinched, or anything, but his creator is assuming that it was a smaller splinter, and that the pain would be greater for a larger one? Jensen felt two more shoot out, and he tensed his knees and scrunched up his face. Yeah, this was painful. ”Yeah, yeh were righ’. Tha’ is a little sharp…” he said quietly, chuckling lightly. ”Are you okay to keep going? There was probably about 20 larger ones and then 10 or so less noticeable ones.” Jensen sighed quietly, barely audible. ”Yeh migh’ as well ge’ it over with…”[/blockquote]

”I’m sure it will be pleasan’.”
Lenna was feeling a bit better with the situation by this point. A bit. Jensen was joking as he usually did and he even dared to glance back over his shoulder at her. She looked up at him, small grin upon his face. "Sure it will."
”Besides, I only trus’ the bes’.”
Her small grin spread into one that was wide and toothy, not to Jensen's knowledge. Lenna was not one to have a big ego when it came to anything, so she was quite susceptible to flattery. It wasn't that she had poor self esteem, just that she never quite gave herself deserved consideration. And Jensen was one of her best patients, having been to her many times. So, if he called her the best, she wasn't going to argue or be overtly modest. "Thank you," she said softly, in pleased fashion.
Lenna felt him tense. Yes, she felt him. She not only saw it, but she felt it as those few fingers were still steadily placed just above the wound. And when his muscles tensed, that meant all of his muscles, even the ones in his bum. Her face flushed lightly, feeling bad that her patient had to be in pain and slightly guilty for..well, noting his muscles?
”Yeah, yeh were righ’. Tha’ is a little sharp…”
Lenna shook her head at herself, thinking herself silly for feeling embarrassed over his muscles. He wasn't the bulkiest guy she had ever seen, but he did have muscles and he was..well, naked. But, she did want to check on his state of well being. It wasn't the most excruciating thing in the world, she figured, but everyone had different levels of pain tolerance. Though, Lenna did realize that Jensen's was higher given all the times she had seen him.
”Yeh migh’ as well ge’ it over with…”
"'Atta boy," Lenna said.
Pat. Pat.
Hm? Oh yes, she patted him...on the bum. It was reflex. She had smiled softly at his words, and just tapped him on the bum without thinking as one would tap someone on the back to say "good job"..or on the shoulder. Except Lenna was at the level of Jensen's bum and the only thing she could pat was....his bum! It was a light pat with only two to three fingers. A double pat. Gingerly, so. And it was when her hand came up the second time that Lenna froze, her eyes going wide and her face flushing immediately.
Lenna?! What the f*ck was that?!, she screamed at her self, swallowing though her mouth was suddenly dry. And now what was she to do? She had just patted her patient, her male patient, on the bum. Should she apologize? Should she attempt to make a joke out of it? Should she pretend it never happened? Well, it was too late for that because she had already been frozen for a prolonged 5 seconds and still just...didn't move.

It didn’t exactly occur to Jensen that Lenna could probably feel it when his muscles tensed. Because… well, she was touching him. And when he tensed, that meant most all of his muscles. Which meant, yeah. You know where. His bum was definitely tensed, because that was where his wound was. And that was where the pain was emanating from. Yeah. Painful, and tensing. Tensing helped though, so Jensen tried to shove the weird thoughts out of his head. ”Yeh migh’ as well g’ it over with…” Jensen leaned onto the bed.
”Atta boy.” Jensen felt a gentle touch on his bum. Was that… a… pat? Two pats? What? Like… a “good job” pat only on his bum? What was that? Or maybe she wasn’t patting, maybe she was readjusting. Yeah, that was probably what she was doing. She was readjusting to get the 30 plus splinters out of the wound in his BUM. Yeah. And I’m sure she was loving it too… her hand right there… Jensen sighed quietly. And he wasn’t going to say anything. And he didn’t think that Lenna was going to either, because she was silent. Deathly silent. And it was rather awkward. Well, it wasn’t like he expected her to say something. Because wouldn’t that be awkward? “Yeah, um, sorry I just patted your bum, it is kind of a reflex when...” WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO THAT? Jensen felt his face flush. Jensen shifted his weight. And then he shifted his weight again. And again. ”Well, uh… is something wrong?” Yeah, he didn’t know what to say. Or do. So he shoved his hand through his hair and then dropped it onto the bed again. He didn’t dare look at her.[/blockquote]

”Well, uh… is something wrong?”
Yes!, her mind blurted although no words came out of her mouth. Lenna had just unintentionally crossed a professional line. Technically, she had sexually harassed a patient. It was like...the equivalent to groping! Well, not really but to Lenna it was utterly and completely the most scandalous thing she had ever done. The most embarrassing moment of Lenna's life was now comprised of those two little taps. She gulped again, knowing she had to speak. But, Lenna wasn't a liar.
She just didn't lie, except for little white lies. But, she knew she wouldn't be able to pass this one off. Too much time had passed. But, maybe he hadn't felt it? They were soft taps. No. He had to have felt it. Lenna's head felt, sighing softly out her nose in a drawn out way. It would be inaudible to the man in front of her or the man whose bum was in front of her. Lenna had to speak and she knew she would sound feeble and embarrassed and awful.
"I didn't mean to do that. I really, really...didn't." Yup. Crawling in a hole and dying sounded really quite appealing to the young woman at this moment. Lenna's cheeks were aflame and she hoped Jensen would not turn his head. Her eyes were closed so tightly and her brow furrowed due to the anticipation that came from waiting for a response. Lenna could lose her job over this or at the very least her reputation. Plus, there would be gossip in a hospital work place. And if word got out, surely it would be uncomfortable for Jensen to come to St. Mungo's anymore. And Lenna wanted him to come to St. Mungo's...huh? Well, for his health..of course.

Yes, Jensen had felt what Lenna had done. But he wasn’t going to draw attention to it, because he didn’t want to embarrass her. If she was embarrassed about it, that is. But surely she was! Who could do something of that sort and not be embarrassed about it? Jensen surely would be, but then again, if he did that to a woman, she would call out sexual harassment, when it was completely an accident. Jensen didn’t think it to be sexual harassment, because surely it was an accident on Lenna’s part. Surely… right?
”I didn’t mean to do that. I really, really…didn’t.” Yeah, she was embarrassed. Jensen felt really bad. ”Len… er… Docto’ Kruge’…” now he was embarrassed. Aside from being embarrassed that she saw his white bum and now he’d unintentionally called her by her first name-ish… ”Don’ worry abou’ it,” Jensen smiled, but of course she wouldn’t be able to see it because she was behind him. Yes, behind him still. And he wasn’t able to see her face, because of that as well, and he wasn’t planning on turning around, either. His face was probably redder than a tomato at this point, and he didn’t want her to see that. Jensen sighed lightly, exhaling through his nose. He did a couple deep breaths… and then chewed his lower lip. ”Bu’… I’m kin’ of… you know…” Jensen didn’t want to make it obvious that he wanted her to finish doing her job… as it was getting a little drafty and well, you know.[/blockquote]

”Len… er… Docto’ Kruge’…”
Lenna chewed the inside of her bottom lip as Jensen spoke, slowly opening both eyes. Her stomach was lightly in knots and her chest was a bit tight as well, an effect of the tension in the room that seemed to make it harder for her to breath. Her breathing was indeed shallow. Well, maybe that was because she was half holding her breath. She noted how he nearly called her by her first name, making his own professional mistake. Well, nearly making one anyhow. And Jensen stopping himself just meant he used a very private nickname only used by her immediate family members. Len or Lenny as Emmett sometimes ventured.
”Don’ worry abou’ it.”
He sounded like he meant it. Jensen really did. Maybe he didn't mind getting pat on the butt? Lenna failed to realize she was sort of a beautiful woman with a man's bum exposed to her. She failed to realize that maybe guys wanted to be naked around her, though usually it would be that Lenna would be naked to - or that was how it would be in their fantasy. She just thought herself awkward and felt guilty and embarrassed. It was going to take her some time to recover from this. Lenna knew it would be on her mind even after Jensen left and she couldn't afford to dwell on things that didn't make her happy. It wasn't good for her psyche.
”Bu’… I’m kin’ of… you know…”
"Oh..right..right," she said, hastily, realizing she was still staring at half of his naked bum. Lenna directed her wand in conjunction with the magnifying glass, extracting the rest of the splinters and sending them into the trash, the lid clanging shut when she was finished. "Now that I think about it, I'll probably need to mix you a potion for the skin damage so it regrows quickly and doesn't scar." Without another word she practically ran from the room, walking briskly towards the door and uttering, "Be right back," over her shoulder as she left the room. Facepalm. Literally.

Ah yes, Jensen was one for nicknames. Everyone had a nickname… his sisters were Dee and Ellie, and his brother was Ick. But that was a long story behind that one, and this isn’t the time or place for that. Ironically, Dee and Jensen himself were the only two that had the accent… so at family reunions, even though the four of them looked quite alike, people had to stop and think because they didn’t talk the same. And Len wasn’t that different. He knew her name was Lenna Kruger, her middle name completely void of memory… but obviously he was going to make a nickname out of it. It made other people feel special, and it was easier for Jensen to say, too. ”Oh..right..right.” Jensen flinched a little each time a splinter was pulled from the wound. If it weren’t an open wound, it probably would have been a lot less painful, and he would not have flinched half as much… in fact, he probably would have been rather stoic… well, as stoic as Jensen could ever be, since he was happy ninety-five percent of the time and ninety-five percent of the time, people knew it, too. He wasn’t one to hide his happiness. Unless he was around beautiful women. Or… one beautiful woman in particular… Now that I think about it, I’ll probably need to mix you a potion for the skin damage so it regrows quickly and doesn’t scar. Be right back.” And with that, Lenna was out the door. Jensen sighed, and leaned against the bed. It didn’t hurt as bad now… but surely it would feel even better once it was all healed and good again. And his bum was actually back to normal. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t lean, because in fact, he was rather tired of just standing there… Jensen took his right hand and ran it through his dark mop of hair. He really did need a haircut… but he was one of those guys who would wait to do so until he couldn’t see at all, because his hair was hanging in his eyes. It wasn’t that he was lazy, he just preferred when his hair was longer, because he looked rather silly when it was short. And yes, he was thinking about this to get his mind off of Lenna and the fact that she had now seen his back and bum naked… luckily, she wasn’t the one who did his regular check-ups as well, because that would make things even more awkward. More awkward than Lenna basically sprinting out of the room because she had seen his butt. And tapped it. But Jensen was trying to block those thoughts. This was a professional situation, and she was a professional. She wouldn’t want anything with the likes of Jensen, anyhow, because he was just a measly athlete, and she would probably go for the handsome, brooding doctor type, which he most definitely was not. Jensen was more of the… athletic, scrawny quidditch player type. Not Lenna’s type…[/blockquote]
