Being named Captain of the Holyhead Harpies, Georgina knew that she had a lot of work on hand, especially since they were one of the favored for the World Quidditch Cup that year. She of course hoped that she could bring her team to the cup as well as win it. That was her goal that year and that meant a lot more practicing than usual. Georgina didn’t mind practicing as she really didn’t have a whole lot to do outside of Quidditch, and Quidditch was pretty much her life. There were no guys she was seeing, and her brother, who was also a muggleborn, wanted her and her team in the cup so he always urged her to practice more and more. Her parents even understood even though they were muggles. Perhaps because it was the same way with Muggle Sports.
So now here Georgina stood inside the Holyhead Harpies Quidditch Pitch as she waited for the rest of her team to show up. She had her green Quidditch robes on that had her name on the back as well as the number 14 in golden-yellow. On the front was the emblem for the Holyhead harpies, a talon holding onto a Golden Snitch. She had her long brown hair pulled back so that it stayed out of her way as she flew around the pitch. The one thing though, that she really loved about her team, was that it was all girls. It was much easier that way and she always thought that boys would only just get in the way with their practicing and girls were much more focused when it came to practice.
Still waiting for her teammates to show up, Georgina had thought it was best to take a few warm-up laps around the pitch. So she lifted her Skyrocket 200 off of her shoulders and mounted it before kicking off and heading to fly around the pitch. Oh how she loved the feeling the wind running through her hair as she flew faster and faster. It was perhaps one of the greatest feelings in the world, at least that’s what she thought. It helped her think and plan about the upcoming games they would have until it was time for the Quidditch World cup. She couldn’t wait, that was for sure. She wondered how long it would be until her teammates started to show up.

Being a part of a Quidditch team was Annalisa’s favorite thing about being out of Hogwarts right now. Sure she had been a Quidditch player during her years in school too, but being out and making a career out of it was just awesome! She was the keeper for her team and she was really interested to know her old school mate Georgina was named the team captain. Sure Annalisa was a bit depressed she wasn’t, but she was happy for her old school mate. The two faced each other in a few games during their school years, but now they were going to be on the same side fighting their way to be the best Quidditch team they could be.
Annalisa was happy to hear the rumors going around the land though apparently the Holyhead Harpies were a favorite to win the cup! This pleased Annalisa and she wanted to make these rumors true so getting her keeper gloves on she rode her broom out to the pitch ready for the practice Georgina planned for today. As she flew to her hoops her green robes flapped behind her in a zoom of green. Printed on the back was her name and title on the team showing off who she was and why she was here. She came to protect the goals with the best of her ability and not even Georgina’s fearsome strength would stop her from letting in any goals.
When she reached the hoops she turned her broom very sharply and faced the pitch. Being up so high she felt free of any fears or past regrets she may have had while on the ground. Being in the air was like being let out of a cage of emotions she was always trapped in. Annalisa scanned the pitched and found Georgina flying around enjoying the wind brushing up against her face. Annalisa smiled at this since she also enjoyed feeling the wind against her face. The two girls were probably a bit more similar than they thought, but she didn’t know that. To Annalisa Georgina was her captain and old school mate and nothing more, no friendship between the two really existed as of now.

Marissa Lewis stepped out onto the pitch, a light breeze nearly ruffling the ends of her robes, broom in her hand. But, of course, it wouldn't be long until the wind was in her face, streamlining over her body and causing her robes to bristle out behind her. Her hair had been parted and secured back into a position so her hair would not whip around in her eyes and blur her view of the goals, which were kept so well by Annalisa who was already in the hair.
Her voice caused a now calm broom to spring up into her hand, Ris hopping on without any hesitation and kicking her feet out quickly from under her. Marissa was devoted to quidditch like it was her life and it was the most important thing to her at this point. Their team's dreams of the world cup were not so far fetched at this point and winning a World Cup had been Marissa's dream for as long as she remembered. Practice was necessary and Marissa was no type of slacker, already having stretched.
Her eyes located Georgina, her fellow chaser, in the sky and she whizzed towards her. Ris savored the feeling of the chilly autumn air against her skin at the high speed. A quaffle was strategically tucked under one arm as she made her first lap around the pitch, coming alongside Georgina. Her team captain had grown to be an actual friend over the years, however dysfunctional Marissa seemed to be in keeping relationships. Somehow Georgina put up with her standoffish attitude and there was an undeniable loyalty between them that extended beyond just teammates. "I hope the article in the Prophet about the Cup doesn't ease practice," she stated, already guessing her friends answer as a smart smirk made its way onto Marissa's lips.

Georgina was still loving the feel of the wind flowing through her hair as she closed her eyes. She knew the Quidditch pitch for the Holyhead Harpies like the back of her hand and since she was only doing laps there was no need to open her eyes in the first place. She was sure that when her teammates showed up that they would get her attention to let her know that they were there. She hadn’t even noticed when Annalisa entered the Quidditch Pitch as she hadn’t even said anything towards her.
Georgina just kept right on thinking, thinking about everything. From her days back when she was at Hogwarts, to the first day on the Holyhead Harpies team and the day she was announced as Captain. She had so many good memories in her life, well she also had a lot of bad ones but she didn’t even think about them. Thinking about all the bad times would only cause her to screw up and not focus.
“I hope the article in the Prophet about the Cup doesn't ease practice,” it was Marissa’s voice that had brought Georgina back to reality and she couldn’t help but smirk at her fellow chaser and best friend. “Like I would ease up on practice. The article just made me determine that we work harder,” she said confidently before turning to go stop in the middle of the pitch. She glanced over at the golden posts that stuck out at the end of the pitch and waved over at Annalisa. The girl was a good addition to the team, though she didn’t hang out with her outside of practices. Perhaps the team should start going out together every once in a while, other than to parties hosted by the Magical Games department of the Ministry.
She took out her wand and pointed it at her throat before whispering “Sonorus” which caused her voice to be louder so that the girls could hear her. “Alright girls, we know that the prophet is favoring us for the Quidditch Cup, so let’s get to work so that we can show them that they were right to pick up.” her voice carried over the whole stadium. It didn’t matter if the whole team was there or not, they could start practice and as other teammates showed up they could join on in.
She then looked over at Marissa waiting for her to pass the Quaffle to her so that the two of them could practice passing their way over to the goal and to shoot for a score.
