Mikah liked parties, she liked the activity around her, and meeting new people. That’s the reason why Mikah signed up for the Masquerade ball, like so many other students. The Ravenclaw took her time to get ready. Mikah straightened her long, wavy hair… or rather attempted to. It was still a bit wavy after she was done, but she didn’t really care. She chose to wear a strapless pink dress; it wasn’t new, and Mikah didn’t go out especially to find a dress for the Masquerade. Instead the dress was brought a while ago, but she had never worn it, so there’s no time better than now! She wore a pink mask – though one can argue that it looked more purple than pink – and pink heels. No, pink isn’t the Ravenclaw’s favorite color, but Mikah wanted her outfit to match, color-wise! She’s a bit weird like that… but there’s nothing wrong with wearing all pink! Mikah had arrived at the Great Hall, all dressed up. She had came downstairs alone without Arianna because she was still getting ready, but will meet her soon. Needless to say, this is going to be a great night and she’s going to have fun. She looked forward to finding out who she was partnered up with, and get to know the person as well. It's definitely going to be a new experience, because she had never attended one of these before... and Hogwarts had never held one before. The decorations were very pretty, and Mikah liked it. She looked around, concluding that the ball was renaissance themed. She was then given a number, and Mikah then made her way to the board. Table eight. Numbers seventy four and fifty eight. seeing that number fifty eight haven't arrived yet, she sat down and patiently waited. OUTFIT

In a tower there was a princess waiting for the clock to chime seven times announcing that it was time for the ball. Arianna was quite use to attending such events from the time that she was born she was shown off to the guests of the royal family. She remembered dancing with her father when she was a little girl him guiding her as she stood atop his feet. But this was not a ball held in her own castle, it was being held at Hogwarts and the tower she awaited in was the Ravenclaw one. Unlike the other balls she attended this time she would have to dress herself, prepare her own hair, and make-up. It was a welcomed change. Arianna had grown tired of some of the privileges she was given as a princess. Having servants who dressed her and put her to bed was getting a bit excessive in her eyes. She was almost a grown woman, though that did not seem to matter these days since her mother was dressed every morning still, and didn't need the help. So Arianna took some extra time to enjoy getting ready for the ball all on her own.
Arianna shimmed into her dress . Making sure everything was in place, she grabbed her wand and muttered a spell causing the corset back to tighten up. She placed her wand back down onto her bed for a moments checking her reflection. She looked stunning. Quickly she slipped her feet into her silver heels and put on her jewelry which was also silver. She spent a bit of time curling her hair, pinning the top half back. With the final touches in place Arianna placed the mask onto her face. It was such a gorgeous mask and completely unique. It was specially made for her, just as the dress was.
Just as she adjusted the mask onto her face she heard the clock chiming. It was time for the ball. Arianna left the Ravenclaw tower and slowly made her way down to the great hall, holding her dress up so she wouldn't trip over it. She entered the great hall and paused to look at the decorations. They were so beautiful and well laid out.
Someone interrupted her by giving her a ticket which she was told was listed on a piece of paper on the wall with what table she would be sitting at. Table number eight. She made her way ever so graceful to the table she was assigned to. As she got closer she was sure she knew who her partner was. "Seriously?" She asked half laughing as she too a seat. "Mikah?" She asked, though she knew it was her, how could she not recognize her best friend?
