Skill Point Distribution
During the course of the duel random dice rolls by a designated dice roller will be used to decide how certain actions by the players will play out. But to simulate reality each player on the team will be given a set amount of points to a legate into four different skill types; alertness, dexterity, skill, and vitality. Each skill type affects a different aspect of the game and each are vital to all players in the game, but each position on the team has something that they specialize in so it would be beneficial to distribute points accordingly. The skill types are as follows:
- Alertness:
[/li][li]Dexterity: speed for avoiding spells.
[/li][li]Skill: how well you are at casting the spell.
[/li][li]Vitality: the amount of damage that you can take from a hit. Once your vitality hits 0, you have lost the duel.
[/li][/ul]More about how the points come into play will be explained later in this guide.
The total number of skill points given to each player depends on their age those are as follows:
- First Years: 10 points
- Second Year: 12 points
- Third Year: 14 Points
- Fourth Year: 16 points
- Fifth Years: 18 Points
- Sixth Years: 20 Points
- Seventh Years: 22 Points
- 18 - 25 years old: 24 Points
- 26-35 years old: 26 points
- 36-45 years old: 28 points
- 46 years old and older: 30 points
Now you, the person who controls your character must post in the dueling statistics sign up thread in the claims board and how you want the points distributed on your character. Once it’s been posted I shall put it in the post that contains everyone’s points and they CANNOT be changed once they are put up here.
Also before you can post in any site plot threads that involve using the dice roll, you're statics must be up on the statics board.
If you are confused by how many points you get, don't be afraid to ask an admin to help you! Also, try to distribute your points according to your character, not to just make them the best at dueling!

Okay so to determine when it comes to the dice rolls on which players Dice roll comes first is according to their dexterity, then age, then it'll go by alphabetical order. Also, for now we'll only have one on ones when it's requiring the dice roll, rather than something that was pre-planned. Now the person with the highest dexterity's will be Player A (see during game play for placement) and the other is Player B. If they have the same dexterity, then it would go according to who is older, and if they even happen to be the same, then go according to whoever's name comes first in the alphabet.
As for who the dice roller is, the players can decide in their thread who they want to roll the dice roll for them (it's probably best to get someone who isn't in the thread to roll the dice). If it is a site plot thread then KAPTAIN KASSY ?! will be posting the dice roll unless it's already pre-meditated on who is going to win.

In your post you must state at what your character attempts to do. It is only after a dice roll that you can state what happened to your character after the spells have been casted.
At the very end of your post, make an ooc message summarizing what actions your character has taken in the post. This makes it easier on the assigned dice roller to determine what needs a dice roll is needed.
Please have the dice rolls posted in your threads so that the admins can see if you are following along. So once your assigned dice roller has made the dice roll, make sure they post it in the thread that your characters are dueling in.
