A pretty blonde shuffled her way down the stone steps of the castle. Her tall magenta heels clicked on the marble as she made her way down. With one hand she tossed back some of those perfect blonde curls from her face. With a smug look on her face, she ignored the other students that gave her an odd look. Yes, for being a self proclaimed Pureblood, Lucy dressed just like a prissy Muggle. Her long thin legs were trapped in tight blue jeans. She wore a striped black and gray long sleeve shirt, which kept her warm in the chilly breeze today. She pranced past all those she considers losers.
Walking down across the lawn, she thought about where to go. Her wand stuck out from her back pocket, and she took it out to hold in her hand for the trip to where she was going. She had decided on the game keepers cabin. She wasn't going to need her wand there, but she was a well known target for some of the meaner Slytherins. Not many people liked someone with tainted blood claiming to be a Pureblood. She was a walking target, but she didn't care. Lucy walked down the granite steps that led right up to the hut. She had gotten this far without someone following her and throwing a spell at her, or throwing some sort of garlic spell. She'd gotten pretty used to dodging those. In her first year she'd seen and then felt the damage that that spell could do. She carried a scar from it actually.
She knocked on the door of the hut and waited patiently for a few seconds. Clearly nobody was there, so she walked in. Lucy rummaged through the cupboards, looking for some food. Yes, she could get food just by going to the great hall. But professors tended to have better food, food that you couldn't get in school. She squealed with delight at finding a bag of Bertie Botts beans. These were her favorite candies! She grabbed a mug and pointed her wand at it. Tea filled the mug, steaming and hot. She exited the cabin then and sat down on a bench. She had the perfect view for the sunset. Setting her mug next to her, she reached into the bag and began to eat the beans. Different flavors flooded her mouth, including a garlic one, which burnt her tongue. She flinched and spit it out, her tongue scalded.
Deciding it might just be safer to set the bag aside, she moved to her cup of tea. This was her relaxing time. Nobody usually bothered her. Her and Theia all but ruled the Slytherin house, and yet she still didn't get respect from her fellow classmates. Not many people would even come near her. It could be because she didn't let people in past her corrosive exterior. She usually jinxed them if they got within three feet of her. Her ears picked up the noise of someone walking towards her. Greaaaat, who was this? She sat her mug down in the bench and stood up. Her back to the sunset, her wand arm out and pointing towards the intruder, Lucy glared at whomever was walking towards her. The wind tossed her hair around playfully.

Travis got up today very cranky. He was in a very foul mood and it showed. Yesterday he had gotten word from his father and something about him getting an award. Travis didn’t pay too much attention to it because once he read that part he lite the stupid letter on fire in anger. He was still fuming about it even today. He needed to spend some of his pent up anger, but how? There seemed be a lack of younger students in the halls today as he walked from his classes looking for someone to torture his pent up rage. They were nowhere to be found it was almost as if they were hiding from him like they knew he was looking for them, but this couldn’t be they were stupid little children there could be no way they knew.
Travis went through the rest of the day very disappointed that he couldn’t find any of the younger students so he decided to take a walk and look at the lake. He always liked the lake it seemed to calm him down whenever he was funning of rage. When he got there he did in fact sit down and looked at the water, but its effect on him wasn’t working. He felt annoyed this lake was supposed to be magical and it always seemed to make him happier before why wasn’t it working now? Angered Travis grabbed a rock and threw it at the lake and walked away from it. He did notice a figure in the distance though. It seemed someone was sitting on a bench near the game keepers cabin. What this person was doing Travis had no clue, but he had found someone worthy of being tortured by his fine hands.
Travis walked quietly to the person who he saw was a girl after a few seconds of walking. He noticed the girl had blonde hair this was perfect that means she was a ditz and he could take advantage of her really easily. A smirk seemed to etch itself on his face the closer he got to her and to his surprise it seemed she didn’t notice him so he grabbed his wand and pointed it at her. He was ready to curse the living daylights out of her and this would surely make him a very happy camper. Although his little sneakiness didn’t seem to work on this girl who had suddenly gotten up and pointed her wand at him in the same manor he did at her. He quickly recognized her as Lucy a fellow Slytherin now normally Travis left his housemates alone as he never had the intention of harming people of the same house, but today was different. He wanted to curse her smug little face off and bring her to tears so he could laugh at her weakness. Yes this is what he wanted someone to torture and she was his target. His smirk became a large smile, but not a kind and friendly no rather it was a demented one. He looked like a maniac who had just been setting out to kill someone. Oh yes Travis was crazy, but he was never this crazy before.

Lucy watched the approaching guy. His features easily gave him away as a fellow Slytherin, though she could not recall his name. He too held his wand at the ready. A slight breeze tossed her hair around her face, blowing a few strands in her eyes. She narrowed them, her hazel gaze fixed on him. He was arrogant looking, and rude to boot. He clearly thought he had the upper hand here. And while her wand work might not be the best since she was tainted blood, she knew she could still take him, and match him in his strength if not beat him.
Her arm was locked out straight, not wavering at all. Even in the receding sunlight, she still felt her skin prickle from its heat. A bead of sweat began to make its way from her scalp to her forehead, and she took a moment to raise the other hand to flick it away. It slid off the end of her long nail. She kept her gaze on him the whole time. It didn't slip her mind that he was good looking either. He had that whole bad boy kick ass look about him. As much as it infuriated her that he was so pompous, she found him hot. Which was bad.
She watched as his smirk became a wide belligerent smile, one that showed he was kind of sort of possibly mentally insane. She rolled her eyes. What a show off. He clearly was trying to intimidate her. She couldn't really think of any reason he would. Well, actually there were a couple. One, he was Slytherin. Two, he was a boy. Three, she was a girl and that made him think he could overpower her. Four, he probably thought her blonde hair made her stupid. Maybe she should play on that? But there was nothing more annoying than playing the idiot blonde girl. She would have to flick her hair around a lot, bat her eyelashes, pet guys biceps and even shake her butt when she walked.... Wait, that last one she already did....
Lucy kept her wand arm where she was, deciding to play with the dumb blonde concept. She blinked a few times, trying to clear her gaze to something blank. She smiled sweetly then, cocking her head a little, her waist length blonde hair tumbling down her side as she shifted her weight. "Oh I'm sorry, you seem to have startled me," she said airily, her voice light and admittedly stupid sounding. Maybe he would fall for it. Maybe he would think that she was really this stupid. He did seem to be like a big galoot, somewhat of an idiot. Who knows? Maybe he'd see through it. If he did, a good duel was exactly what she wanted.
