Mikah sat by herself in the three broomsticks, waiting for nobody.. but just.. sitting there. Sipping a butterbeer, and looking out the window for nobody in particular. On her face was a very happy expression; she was smiling... again, at nobody in particular. Anyone who doesn't know this girl would think that she's odd to be staring into space and smiling at absolutely nothing.... but to those who know her, well, they would know that for Mikah, nothing is better than sitting alone, in one's own thoughts, and staring in the air. But of course, if she did have company, Mikah wouldn't mind at the least. She would love company. She's here for anyone who might want to talk, or sit with. In fact that might be better than what she is doing. But not really. She likes it either way. She has always been in her own little world though, and Mikah had always been content for whatever that is that she is doing at the moment. Usually on Hogsmeade weekends this is what happened. Sometimes a friend would come with her and they would meet in the Three Broomsticks just to chat and catch up; talk about school work and quidditch and occasionally giggle about guys. But not today! Like most other days Mikah just sat here. That's how Hogsmeade weekend often started for the Ravenclaw, but eventually, as the Three Broomsticks start getting more crowded, someone is bound to join her. And so, this is how Mikah met a lot of her friends. In the Three Broomsticks. While staring out in mid-air. notes;; um, confusing post. xD but gotta get something up for the activity check. feel free to join. promise all my posts aren't that confusing. . tag;; open words;; like, a bit above word count. muse;; okay.

It wasn't too often that Josh went to Hogsmeade. He kind of found it to be a waste of time, there wasn't too much there that he wanted; and Josh found it much more time-efficient to just study. Today was different though, it had been a while since Josh just took time for himself, so with this Hogsmeade trip, he decided to just relax and go have a butterbeer. Josh really only knew of Three Broomsticks from a few of his friends, and since he didn't really know of too many other places, he figured that was the best place to go. He knew that he was bound to see somebody in there he knew anyways.
Josh opened the door and just walked up to the bar to get his drink. As he waited for the bartender to deliver, he looked around to see if he knew anybody. There weren't too many people in there, but he noticed a familiar face at a table. Mikah was different than the rest of the girls that Josh knew. Their personalities didn't intertwine very well, just because they are both pretty quiet people, they never really took the opportunity to get to know one another. Josh figured after five years, there was no time like the present. He lifted his butterbeer from the bar, and walked over to her table.
Pulling out the chair across from her, Josh took a seat, setting his butterbeer down in front of him on the table. "Hey Mikah," Josh said happily, "Slow night I suppose, I haven't really been here before. What are you up to?"

Seizel was tired today and he was thinking that a trip to Hogsmeade was the perfect answer to cure all of his sorrows. It was true, as he was walking down along the lone path from the Hogwarts castle, and started to stray towards the Forbidden Forest a little. Seizel had been day-dreaming as he had realized about ten minutes later he was surrounded by trees, and then thought about how he got lost most of the time he was outside of the castle. Within the castle walls he knew every nook and cranny to keep himself entertained. Wearing a casual white t-shirt and blue jeans. Nothing much else, of course he decided to pull on the Ravenclaw vest with it's logo embroidered on the left sleeve. Seizel's hair was clean and the curly brown hair itself seemed to barely sway since it was rather short. Brushing a hand through his hair as he let out a sigh of annoyance at having taken the wrong path for so long without noticing. It bugged him, one of the smartest boys in Ravenclaw, however, he never did like flaunting it. Only by skipping classes and not attending did he flaunt it at times. It was rare when he actually showed up, but it was only whenever another student mentioned a test for N.E.W.Ts or what not. That was about it, other than that, he was focused on improving his quidditch skills. Finally entering the quiet town of Hogsmeade he was looking around the area with keen interest. The one place that stood out to him was the only area he could stand sitting in and knew that a few Ravenclaws did visit from time to time. Finally opening the door towards the Three Broomsticks, as he walked in, his eyes looked around for fellow students from his same house. Not that he didn't mind sitting with other students at times, but right now he was more concerned with just having a normal conversation with some like-minded people. After all, if they were in Ravenclaw, they were obviously placed for there for their habits or even their intelligence. Another trademark was the intense studying some of them did, but he decided to take a seat where he saw two fifth years talking. Best to introduce himself in case they didn't know who the Quidditch captain of the team was, but figured it would be nice to actually say something before butting in. After all Seizel didn't want to sound rude, "Hey there, I'm Seizel Capper, the Quidditch team captain for Ravenclaw, sorry if I'm interrupting your conversation, and may I ask your names? Well I suppose Mikah and me already know each other so that was pointless in adding the plural form of the question, haha" he asked. Of course, he really didn't know, since he barely paid attention to the fifth years or lower at times unless they were on the quidditch team. OOC; Sorry if that's confusing, I can change it if you wish.

She was right. After a few more moments sitting by her lonesome and just pondering about the random things that come to her, another fifth year Ravenclaw joined her. Josh. Mikah can’t say that they knew each other very well, but they’ve been in the same class for five years, so they’re bound to know each other’s names, at the least. ”Hey Mikah, Slow night I suppose, I haven't really been here before. What are you up to?” At that Mikah snapped out of her thoughts and turned her attention towards the other Ravenclaw. “Hey Josh, I’m up to… nothing. Yup, nothing, besides sipping my butterbeer!” she said cheerfully, smiling at him. “How are you? And I’m glad you came and joined me; I was getting awfully lonely.” the girl smiled again. It’s great to have company.
Before Josh could reply, however, another familiar face started making his way to the table. ”Seizel!” she waved for him to come join them. She rather liked him. He’s a great Quidditch captain, and Mikah enjoyed working with him on the team. Sure practices were intense but Mikah didn’t mind; at least Seizel has his head in the game, and is serious about Quidditch. She listened quietly for Seizel to introduce himself. Turns out, the two of them didn’t know each other… but hey, who doesn’t know the quidditch captain for their own house? "Hey there, I'm Seizel Capper, the Quidditch team captain for Ravenclaw, sorry if I'm interrupting your conversation, and may I ask your names? Well I suppose Mikah and me already know each other so that was pointless in adding the plural form of the question, haha" Mikah smiled to herself at the small joke that he made at the end of his statement, then said, “Nah, you’re not interrupting. Josh and I just started talking anyways,” she reassured him. ”So what brought you guys to the Three Broomsticks today?” she asked, knowing that neither of them made an appearance in the Three Broomsticks very often.
( sorry this was so late! )

Just as Josh sat down with his butterbeer, Seizel came up to the table. Josh had never really met Seizel before, he had always looked up to him though. As he introduced himself to Josh and Mikah, Josh took a sip of his butterbeer, and waited for Mikah to be finished speaking. Josh held out his hand to shake Seizel's saying, "Hey, I'm Josh. I'm a fifth year prefect. I don't think we had met yet."
Josh looked toward Mikah as she questioned why they were there. There wasn't really a reason why josh had come to the Three Broomsticks other than the fact that this was his first time in hogsmeade in a while, and he didn't really know of anywhere else to go. "Well, actually, I haven't been to Hogsmeade in a long time. I didn't really know where else to go, and I kind of figured that a few Ravenclaws would be here, so I just came on in. What about you?"
((OOC: Sorry it took so long! I was at the Indy 500 all weekend and Just got back yesterday))

Seizel didn't really know what was going on at this point as he had sat down at the table just introducing himself. Listening to the two of them, he supposed he should address Joshua first, since he had greeted him accordingly...as well as introduced himself. Seizel should have known him if he was a prefect considering Raychel talked a lot about her duties during quidditch practice sometimes. It normally annoyed him, however, he put up with her as much as she put up with his quidditch fascination. That was just filler though and besides the point as he got lost in thought for a moment or two.
Some would think it immensely cute if he did this occasionally but even though he was a quidditch nut. Right now he was socializing and it was rather rude to space out in the middle of a conversation without apologizing. First nodding to Mikah in general, then turning back to Joshua, shaking the yougn lad's hand, looking to be quite promising in the future. Seizel wondered who would take up captain of the Quidditch team after he left, he remembered that he needed to have try-outs before he left to select a good candidate. It would be tough, but then he responded to Joshua, "Trust me, most Ravenclaws in their right mind would come here, I'm guessing...I mean there's not much of any other house here. Yet they'd be slightly out of their element as I always pictured most being in the library...just the way some of us are," he merely commented.
It was just an obvious reason that he could think of, however, he didn't have much more to say. Oh, yes introducing himself to the young lad had already come first, what certain social protocol was required of him next? Ah, yes, "Strange, that we haven't met before, after all everyone should know me by now, as the aforementioned Ravenclaw Quidditch captain...no need to add the title though, that just makes me look like I have an ego...haha. Aside from that, just came here cause I was bored and wanted to see who was here, that's all," he finished as he got a butterbeer as well not realizing that that's what Mikah was drinking already.

Mikah waited for the two boys to finish introducing themselves, as she already knew both of them by name. Then Josh answered her question by telling her that he came in figuring that a few Ravenclaws would be in here. Seizel responded to him by commenting that most of the students in the Three Broomsticks were Ravenclaws. Mikah nodded in agreement, and then turned to Josh to answer his question. “I got a bit bored of the library,” she said, somewhat referring to Seizel’s last comment, then laughing a little, “And I came in to get some butterbeer… and just to hang out for a little bit. Of course I hadn’t planned on anyone coming to join me, but now that you guys did, that’s awesome!” The Ravenclaw smiled at the two others at their table.
So what should they talk about now, Mikah wondered to herself. Of course, there’s always the possibility that one of them doesn’t want to talk, or plan on leaving after saying hi to her… but still, while the three of them are still sitting here, Mikah would hate to be silent with nothing to talk about. Yet as she barely knew anything about Josh, and she doesn’t want to bore Josh by talking about Quidditch with Seizel, there’s nothing really that she can start a good conversation with. “So, what do you guys want to talk about? It’s all up to you,” she started again, “Since you both were looking to see if Ravenclaws where in here today… I’m assuming that you guys just felt like talking about intellectual things today?” she asked them. That could only be one of the reasons though, but the three of them being Ravenclaws, it’s only natural for them to talk about something that involves thinking, doesn’t it?
( this is a horrible post. hahaha. )

Kenji loved outings to Hogsmeade. He wasn't much to join in others frivolity, but he loved to watch it. As he walked through the streets, he frowned, seeing some sixth years bullying a first year. Quite unfair if he did say so himself, but he wasn't really one to speak up. He was a shy boy, to say the least.
Looking around, he saw Honeydukes was packed, as always, as well as Zonko's. As much as he wanted to visit Honeydukes, he didn't want to face the crowd. Turning away from the crowd, he headed down the street, where it was less crowded. He looked up at a sign, and saw it read "The Three Broomsticks". He shrugged; he could use a Butterbeer. Upon that thought, he entered the establishment.
Taking a look around, he saw some fellow Hogwarts students and sidled over. "Erm, mind if I join you?" He was somewhat surprised with himself; he was never one to ask invitation into someone's group. He was more of a loner, and he didn't talk that much to begin with.
