Christina is a very rule-abiding student. It’s simply because her sister is head girl, and she just never found out why people would bother to break the rules – first you risk getting in trouble; then you might get hurt or missing or whatever. Hogwarts is a very unpredictable place, and magic is a very unpredictable thing. Rules are there for a reason: safety. So that’s Christina’s views on rules.
But right now, Christina is found out of the Slytherin common room, out of the castles, and at the edge of the forbidden forest. Somehow she had gotten out of the castle undetected, though Chris is still very worried of what might happen if she was discovered. Surely, Hogwarts don’t let people who sneak out to the Forbidden Forest get off easily? The possibility of that was horrifying. Chris considers herself a very good student; rule abiding, hardworking… etc. If she was discovered tonight, oh gosh. That would ruin all her chances of possibly becoming head girl, and getting her first detention – Chris stopped at that. She pushed those thoughts out of her mind and focused on what she was doing.
Well technically, she wasn’t doing anything really. Not like, out here after curfew trying to read a book that she stole from the restricted section – definitely not. She wouldn’t dream of doing that. The reason she was out here is the fact that she simply couldn’t sleep. No particular reason, just lately, she’s been staying awake longer… Listening to her dorm mates’ snoring became very annoying, and Chris decided that she needed air. But why hadn’t she just gone outside, closer to the castle, or just hung out in the Slytherin Common Room? As for that question, Chris had no answer for that… except that after six years she had never ever everrrr been to the Forbidden Forest before. She had also never broken any rule. She wanted to see for herself what others find in the pleasure of breaking rules. No time better than now, huh? At the time when Chris had thought of doing so, while lying in bed, it seemed like a pretty neat idea. Sneak out of the castle. Go to the Forbidden Forest. Figure out why it’s forbidden (or not.) Then back to the castle. It was brilliant.
Now, after actually carrying out her brilliant ‘plan’, Chris no longer thought so, it’s horrible; how she ever got the idea of sneaking out, ugh. The forest was dark, scary; how anybody could find pleasure in going to the forbidden forest…. Now that’s just absurd. The Slytherin turned around. She is going to go back to the castle; no more breaking rules! Then she heard a soft rustling sound, someone stepping on the leaves… or some thing. She shuddered wondering what could be in the shadows. She gripped her wand tighter, having had it out since the moment she stepped in. “W-Wh-Who’s there?” her voice trembled – yes, she is terrified of what might happen next.

The moon was bright in the sky, only half of it visible tonight which was quite preferred by one certain vampire, Caleb Bludd. Yes that dear ol' rumor was true. Vampires and Werewolves really didn't get along and even though Caleb had to share the school with those beasts the idea made his blood run cold...errr, well he just wasn't comfortable with it. But with the moon not being complete Caleb knew he was safe to hunt in the Forbidden Forest safely.
The forest was forbidden to other students. The Hogwarts staff told them to beware for bad things lurked behind the tree line. Well those bad things were creatures the student's went to school with. Vampires hunted here and werewolves roamed. It was the sacred playground for those of another species.
Caleb was quite a reserved person never really talking to anyone other than his best friend, Christina Entwhistle, who just happened to be in Slytherin and a year below him. But in the forest he felt at home. It had been quite some time since he had a taste of blood which was why he was out here so late at night. It was time to feed for the young vampire.
Caleb sat high in a tree keeping a watchful on the forest floor waiting for some type of movement. Just a small animal would suffice his need. Caleb's ear twitched as he heard footsteps coming toward the forest. A familiar smell crept up his nose. "Christina." He spoke to himself quietly. He turned himself around and spotted her. He jumped down from the tree landing on a small twig that snapped. He heard her shaky command. Caleb stayed silent.
Suddenly he jumped out from behind the trees, arms out-stretched, embracing her. "Me!." Caleb said laughing. It was rare to see him in such form but Christina was practically the only person to witness his happy outbursts.
