theia grinned as she descended into main common room from the girls dormitaries, pausing a few steps from the bottom to survey the area. it was kinda full, and theia rolled her eyes. why have so many people just standing and sitting around? it was time to celebrate! what with her and scorpius chosen as the team to represent slytherin how could they loose? no, they wouldn't. they had this in the bag, and there was no point milling about. time to enjoy the moment.
theresa kelsey flicked her wand at the air, producing a set of vivid emerald sparks and ommiting quiet upon the room. "hey listen up!" she called out, voice alluring and confident as always, gazing down slightly at everyone as she half smirked, half grinned. theia tossed her head slightly, causing her chocolate curls to tumble over her shoulders, moving them from her line of sight. "as one of the chosen champions for slytherin i say this is officially boring. we're slytherin, we're not going to loose this. so let's party already!" she called out, rallying her fellow slytherins in the hope that some of them might find some enthusasm for drink, music and fun from somewhere.
descending fully into the room, theia flicked her wand toward a stereo device and music blasted from the speakers. good music of course but people could tamper with it as they wished. a house elf, most likely having heard the rukas, suddenly appeared with a crack, and after theia bent toward it to give it some orders, plates of food and drinks appeared upon the tables, lading them heavy with all the best stuff. theia smirked and nodded slightly, sipping from a goblet of butterbeer and serveying her vauge handiwork. it would do for now. the others could make of it what they wanted. time to party.
( ooc , alrighty so basically as explained in that pm ya'll got, that party that was supposed to be for the school is now just indiviual house parties. so i figured let's get slytherin's on the go and make it epic! any and all slytherin's welcome, let's mix it up and create some fun peeps! woot SLYTHERINS xD )

Rainbow was laying down on the couch. Sure she wasn't tired but she was bored to death. She couldn't think of anything to do at all. And she wish that she could that was for sure. She sat there and thought and thought of what she could do. She had her wand in her hand and twirled it around her fingers. That is how bored the girl was. Without even knowing it she fell asleep and went of into sleepy land. She had dreamt that the Ministry had arrested her big brother for murdering a muggle family and a ministry worker. She didn't like the dream at all. The next thing she knew was that someone was yelling. "Party? Really?" she asked the girl when she had heard what she had to say. She couldn't believe it that they were going to have a party in the common room. "All right let's do this." she said with a small yawn. She was dressed in a pair of jeans and a green top. She had her hair pulled back into a pony-tail and she was enjoying the music when it came on. She started singing along with the music. She decided she was just going to have fun for the day. Ophelia never turned down a good party. As an entitled female, she had been to many in her time- she knew how to throw one and she knew how to make one great. She was always prepared for a party, and she was always, always invited. And so, when she heard what was going on in the common room, she slid her feet into the heels that she had worn all day, smoothing out her yellow dress with one hand despite the fact that it was a simple jersey. The bangles on her wrist jingled as she did, but that mattered little to the Zabini as she set out of her dorm towards the common room. Upon arrival, she spotted the food, heard the music, but was disappointed with the amount of partying going on. The common room was rather full, but it was also rather dull, and she was a little annoyed by the inability of her house mates (not the chosen representatives) to have a good time. Hell, one of the few people who seemed interested was even yawning! Deciding that she needed to see how things picked up before she started throwing back shots, she followed Theia's lead and grabbed a glass from the table of refreshments - though hers was not Butterbeer but Firewhiskey. If they were going to party, they were going to party right.

The high of the tournament was intoxicating, even to Jordi. This was her seventh and final year at Hogwarts, and she couldn't be happier that it were a year with the House tournament. It made her last year go out with a 'bang' as it were. So, like the rest of her house, she'd sat by and cheered on her champions as they were announced and disappeared into the back room like the rest of the school champions. She had been a little bit surprised that both of the house champions were sixth years, not even a seventh year, but seeing as she hadn't entered her own name in the competition she had no reason to be bitter. She'd cheer them on all the same, and wish them the best for a solid Slytherin victory. Despite the excitement of the naming ceremony, the mood in the commons room was rather, well, dull. Students were grouped together here and there, whispering to each other in hushed voices, gossiping about the chosen champions and assuring each other that Slytherin had the tournament in the bag. Jordan was lounging in a chair in the corner of the room, her wand dangling idly in her hand, pointed at her History of Magic book as she flipped the pages through magic. You knew that the mood was direly boring when Jordi was doing homework. Thankfully the dull mood was broken before Jordi killed herself of boredom. One of the champions, Theresa her name was, came down to the commons room and immediately noticed what had been painfully obvious: that things were extremely boring. Jordi snapped her textbook shut as people began paying attention to the young champion and music began blaring from somewhere in the room. It was like an instant mood picker-upper, already the chatter was becoming more animated, and drinks and food were appearing. Jordi grinned, tossing her book aside and rising to move to a table and grab some butterbeer. This was more like it.

He threw a towel over his head, ruffling his hair to dry it. It would have been easier to dry it with a spell, but there were some mundane things that seemed much better doing it by hand. Grabbing the first pair of pants he could find, dark blue jeans, he pulled them on and zipped them up before throwing the towel on the floor. The house elves or whoever cleaned the bathroom could fix that up. Rummaging through his trunk, he paused when he heard music. So someone, more than likely Theia had started the party without him. Well they did say the star and life of the party often ended up being late. Turning his attention back to his trunk, he pulled out a dark green shirt and threw it on, adjusting it accordingly. Pulling on a pair of black socks, he was ready. Heading out into the common room, he peered around and found Theia almost immediately.
"Starting the party without me I see?" he asked, moving over to her before looking at the others. Some were familiar faces; others weren’t and could only guess what year they were in. Still he didn’t care, they were all here to support him and Theia in the tournament, they were all here to show what Slytherins could do and to dominate the other houses in all areas, yes Slytherin was positively the best house Hogwarts had.

Delilah was busy doing something else so she had no idea that there was a party going on in her common right at the moment. She was interested pulling a prank on an unexpected victim from any house but Slytherin on the first floor. She had set up a bucket of pink paint that was hovered over an invisible x right underneath it. She quickly hid behind a corner and kept watched. Soon enough a fourth year Ravenclaw by the name of Ryland had was coming the direction of the prank and as soon as he stepped onto the x the bucket poured on him turning him pink. She could tell that he was getting mad though by the few chosen words that he had said.
Leaving him with his paint mess of his she decided to go down to her common room and hang out there. When she walked into the common room and saw that there was a party going on. She had wondered why there was music going on through the hallway. "Wow a Party?" she said with a smile on her face. "Let's pump up the jam!" she said with a small smile on her face with a small smile on her face.

The goblet of fire ceremony had just concluded and much of the student population were being guided back to their common room with talk of partying. Zmeyette had taken the advantage of the chaos of exiting the great hall to slip away from it all. Zmeyette was less than pleased with who the goblet had deemed their champions so she felt no need in celebrating it with her house. Theia and Scorpius were the two most likely to fail in the tournament even against those blasted Hufflepuffs. Neither knew much about how to dig down and get dirty, they both surrounded themselves with the likes of the Weasley/Potter clan. Scorpius would probably let his whole house down if someone got hurt, he would double back and help them if he could. As for Theia, well Zmeyette figured she was Slytherin's only hope at winning this thing. Theia had a dark side to her, Zmeyette could sense that, but whether she was willing to use it at all costs was not visible to the young werewolf.
Zmeyette had walked around the school, wandering with no real aim. She wanted nothing to do with the celebration going on in the dungeons and thought quite hard of finding a way to gate crash one of the other houses. She wondered if Makenna was blowing off her own house party. That damn Hufflepuff was on her mind and was not adding to her good mood. It was just a drunken night that Zmeyette was going to have to forget there was no way she was going to date a Hufflepuff.
Zmeyette found herself walking back toward the dungeon area where the Slytherin and Hufflepuff common room entrances could be found. She was looking around in hopes of finding Makenna but after some time had passed she gave up. "Looks like I'm going to have to put on a smile for everyone." Zmeyette said to herself before she muttered the password and entered the common room.
There was music blaring but no one moving. Students of all ages were just sitting around. Food and drinks were set up on the table and that was the first place Zmeyette headed for. She would need some fire whiskey in her system to get through this evening and Zmeyette knew she could count on her fellow Slytherins to smuggle some in. "What a lame party." She said not caring who heard her. With a goblet in hand Zmeyette found Theia and Scorpius with mismatched eyes and said "Congrats to Theia and Scorpius, lead us to victory." Taking a swig of the fire whiskey made that lie feel honest.

Post by JACOB CONWAY WARRINGTON on May 24, 2011 17:20:24 GMT -6
Jacob was merely enjoying the fact that Slytherin was throwing a party after the event, and you know what he was in a pretty good mood. Why? Well why don't you ask him, he won't tell you squat about why he was missing during half of the ceremony. Yet, no one had even noticed him slip in as he had made sure to tell Olivia that they hadn't failed at all. Surely he would know that there were many other reasons for being at this party. It was lame to him, and he was wearing the usual clothing that Slytherin prided itself in as he had a tie on too. Pretending to dress up as a prefect and putting on a badge just like those Potter Stink ones way back when.
Except this time it said Slytherin Champions stink, and he had found it amusing when he had foudn them at the joke shop. Having the gall to wear it, well he wasn't one to be frightened by any of the other students. Finally deciding that this was the best way to spend the evening as he kept himself to the point of being bored. There was no one interesting to talk to just yet, and wondered when someone would daringly come up to tell him to remove the badge. Jacob was obviously ready to take on any challengers again as usual, but he was a natural bad boy renowned throughout the school for his notorious, cruel pranks.
No one defended him, and he didn't expect anyone too as he decided he should play nice for a change and then started to take the badge off. In the end, it didn't even matter to him, and now he was glancing up to see his past fling Zmeyette sitting across from him. Weird as it may seem, they were better as friends than lovers, but they still let feelings linger. Like right now, he was owndering what went wrong at that very moment, and realized he had a much higher goal in mind now. Unable to focus on one thing at a time as his thoughts ran rampant, from the attack to Olivia, to just everything in general.
Jacob was under strict orders not to talk about it, but he had to tell someone, without Olivia knowing despite her ability. It was easy to suppress most of his thoughts though, and finally spoke up for once besides to have congratulated the champions. "Yeah, go champions...woo" he said disdainfully, not really caring for the blood traitors in general. He was surprised their supreme blood traitor leader wasn't there commanding them like robots and leading them into an apocalyptic future to take on the massive armies of idiocy to bend to their loving ways...peh...the thought made him puke. "Hey, Zmeyette, what's up?" he asked with a partial smile.
One of the few genuine ones he gave the few friends he had.
