Delilah dressed in a pair of jeans and a cute top walked out of the Slytherin Common Room and up to the Grand Entrance and out the door before another Prefect could stop her. Heck she wanted out of Hogwarts for the day and she knew she needed a breather from all of it. It was a nice sunny day in October. Sure it was cold so she did have a light jacket with her just in case if it rained. She was in the mood with Ice Cream for some odd reason. She walked out the front gates and held her wand out and the Knight Bus came and she told hem right where she wanted to go.
When she finally got to Leaky Cauldron she walked out into Diagon Alley and walked to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor and walked inside and ordered her ice cream which was Strawberry Swirl Ice Cream Sundae and sat down by a window while she had waited for her order and finally her order came. She took one bight and closed her eyes and enjoyed the first bite. She opened her eyes and looked out the window. She suddenly wished she was not alone in Diagon Alley and one of her friends was sitting there!
Delilah still couldn't believe that she was a Prefect and she was glad that she was. She knows that she still can get a detention for skipping out on classes like she was doing today but she didn't seem to care. She sat there for a moment thinking about how her life has been going so far. She then wondered what her brother was up too. But then she didn't really care for one he probably would try to guys to stay away from her.
