Think of a cocky arrogant prick and it's essentially Derek. The kid has a huge ego because he was blessed with being extremely curious and a craving for information. Looking at Derek and he seems to fall into a very certain category. A very dark, drug-dealing Greyback with the way that he looked and the way that he acted. Almost as if the sorting hat got it wrong and accidentally didn't place him into Slytherin. The seventeen year old had many qualities that should've placed him into the serpentine house yet, the Sorting Hats decision stuck with Ravenclaw. At the same time, Derek was more then just a static character in life. His prudish ways weren't a defensive mechanism to protect himself, it was more of a way to break down the emotional walls of others. The Greyback loved to see people in a very open state, he almost purposely hurt others so that he could feel those real emotions coming from others, as if he was a drug addict yearning for honesty. It was a sick habit that Derek just couldn't shake, but Derek wasn't just a huge arrogant prick. It was just the sarcasm that drove him to others wits end.

ADRIAN&DEREK
As long as Derek is loyal to their father Adrian won't have much of a problem with him. Considering what you said in your app about Fenrir I don't imagine that they would have met until Derek's third year when Adrian was just coming into his first. He truly is. A daddy's boy so has this irritation toward his siblings, especially the male ones, getting more attention than him from Fenrir, which could cause a problem at some point in time, but for the most part Adrian would be nice to him... Well Adrian's version of nice at least.

MAHARET&DEREK
She grew up with Fenrir as one of his followers and family friends. It makes sense that a Greyback in her own house would be someone that she at least attempted to get along with. Maggie loves the whole debauchery thing, which Derek has his hint of with being the drug dealer type. Anyway I can see them being either past or future hook up as well as decent, if not good, friends. She would be thoroughly amused by his curious nature and him trying to figure her out.

VIVIANA&DEREK
For all that wisdom and level headedness that she has, there is one thing that Vivi acts on pure instinct about and finds difficult to look past; the natural enemy relationship between vampire and werewolf. Though she would try to be polite she has a tendency to make condescending comments toward werewolves that make her feelings about them pretty clear. The tension between them in the common room is likely to be very thick.

BENNETT&DEREK
She's kind of a cynical cold hearted bitch so it wouldn't surprise me if they butted heads a lot. Benni would make it her business to tear him down and from what you said about his personality, he seems like he would make it his business to see what makes her tick. If and when he does find out seeing what he does with it could be interesting.

[AALIYAH RAYNE D'EATH]

AALIYAH & DEREK!
These two would not get along at all! They may share a house and the same year but that is about all they have in common. Liyah is half vampire, so of course there is the natural and instinctual hatred there. Also Liyah doesn't like guys that are full of themselves in general. She has the potential to be a bitch but usually isn't. She is rather closed off from those around her and will only open up to one guy, her future final. I could see us having some fun with these two, maybe a little fight or something :]

GABRIELLE & DEREK!
These two on the other hand will get along like two peas in a pod. Gabby has a thing going on with Adrian Greyback but they aren't exclusive of course. Gabby is a fifth year slytherin, pureblood family and a blood purist. She may be only fifteen but she is definitely out there in her behavior. Her parents think she is a sweet little girl, that is not the case though. She is a giant tease and will mess around with anyone that catches fancy. She enjoys partying and doing anything that she isn't supposed to do. Since her and Adrian are best friends practically she knows some of his family. I could see her and Derek maybe fooling around? If he is into her at all that is, you will have to decide that. He is definitely the type of guy she goes for though. Hot, bad boy, tattoos...oh yeah, that just screams Gabby :]

JACOB WARRINGTON AND DEREK

Honestly, Jacob's part of the evil trio and if he even acquires a little information about him...he'll know. Jacob doesn't give information freely though, but he doesn't mind talking to people that have as much of an ego as he does. Not that he's very much like that, but in the end they would be enemies since he doesn't view highly of the greybacks at all. They're filthy and not pure blood at all...to him, as well as Olivia of course. I can see them just nodding to each other in the hall and having that silent stare that makes everyone else cringe when they notice each other.

ROMULUS XAVIER MOON AND DEREK

Romulus moon is one of the followers of the greybacks but he's a seventh year Hufflepuff after Zmeyette Greyback. Everyone at the school knows about it and he doesn't hide it. Although, he is best friends with Maharet Rosier, and this proves to be an advantage to many. Romulus is doing anything to get the attention of Zmeyette, but he basically stalks her even though he has good intentions. Like following Fenrir of course, now I'm curious how her brother would react to him obsessing over her...plus you have to take into consideration that he's a werewolf too. At least partly, but he had a deal struck up with Fenrir later on to get bitten to become a full one. Essentially, the could be friends, and Romulus won't do drugs I'm afraid. That's one of his no-nos, however, he won't mind hanging out with the drug dealer, and I could see them being friends that have met in classes before. Rom's also got a reputation of beating up random students for fun.


RHEA AND DEREK
My dark wizard who is an avid Fenrir follower and happens to be renting out the place where he will be temporarily staying in a pure blood town. Werewolves welcome, vampires are not since that feud is ancient, but that's besides the point. If Derek talks to his father a lot and happens to you know, hear mention of the Terrifying terrible three as their name suggests...since he other sisters are Selene and Phoebe. That's besides the point again, I would just say respect if he knows about the Terrifying Terrible Three, but yeah, I got nothing else for this one.

SEIZEL CAPPER AND DEREK

Okay, well they're on the same team, and that doesn't mean he'll like him per se. Although, Seizel's usually a loner in the first place and the head of the chess club too. I don't got much other than basically seeing him at practices and games, other than that, just acquaintances since Seizel really hasn't chosen a 'side' either. Very neutral in terms of thinking, and he wouldn't be persuaded to do drugs I'm afraid.



STEVE AND DEREK

Sorry, admin rejects all relations to character...just kidding. Seriously though, the character Steve, they'd most likely end up as just rivals, but that's only cause of being on the quidditch field on opposing teams of course. I seriously feel like there isn't anything else to add, but he's one of the nicer slythies too.


ARTHUR AND DEREK

Arthur is Deimos Salvador's brother, but he's a fifth year Ravenclaw so he would know Derek in a sense. Just seeing him in the common room, but Arthur's a ladies man mostly. Always trying to hit on them no matter how he can get them, and he lets Viviana feed off of him. So he could perhaps sees this as a way to get blood from a human to sell as some sort of drug to the half vampires in a way. It would be nice for him to make money somehow, however, we can just say this is already going down. After all, Arthur really hasn't chosen sides despite not caring what's going on in the world, and offering himself up as a blood donor..cause Derek could disguise it as his research for a good cause or some bullshit to make Arthur believe him. In return Arthur tells Derek about the vampire he's with and others. I could see them having an information gathering relationship, trading secrets with one another that sort of thing...also friends since Arthur can be persuaded to join in his dealings.

[NIKITA KAYLA WYNTER]

Seyton Greyback

So, Sey's the big brother of the family, but far closer to his siblings who are not loyal to Fenrir than the others, because those loyal to Fenrir generally hate him. He doesn't try to pressure them and doesn't bring up his father around them unless they bring him up first, at which point he makes his stance on things clear, but tries to keep up friendly relationships with all his siblings. That just doesn't seem to work with those who are close to Fenrir because the hatred between him and their dad is so well known. These two would have associated before, but I don't know what Derek would have thought of him. Seyton is very paternal, that is he's extremely protective to his little siblings, but if they hate him he won't push it. So I guess this would depend on what Derek thinks of Sey. No matter how it is Sey wouldn't hate him, he'd just try to avoid him to stay away from conflict if there's too much potential for it.

Nikita Wynter

Nikki is the 'secret' girlfriend of Derek's brother. ^^ She's a muggleborn, and damn proud of it, so she despises the Greybacks who follow Fenrir as she does to all blood purists. I think at first she might have known Derek because they're in the same house as each other. Or at least, they would know of each other. Nikki would know him as Jasper's brother, but he wouldn't know she's his girlfriend yet. Thanks to the whole fiasco between Seyton and his muggleborn girlfriend and Fenrir, they don't want the 'other' side of the Greyback family to find out about her. As it is, though, Fen is going to find out. He and Jaedyn are going to soon decide that Nikki's interfering with Jasper too much and needs to be 'taken care of'. End result of this all is that she'll end up a werewolf after Jae fails to kill her and will then be mixed up with the Greyback family further.

Because Derek is loyal to Fenrir, Nikki would totally be wary of him. After what happens to her and what's happened to Jasper she's going to be really scared Fenrir, and depending on how Derek acts to her that could include him, too. I dunno... what do you think Derek would think of her, and I could expand on Nikki's thoughts on him from there? Oh, and random tidbit of info: Nikki is also going to be Derek's future sister in law, whether Fenrir likes it or not. ^^

Jaycen Tate

So, head boy, Ravenclaw champion, and the other Ravenclaw beater... they'd definitely know each other. I don't think Jayce would have any issue with Derek, to be honest. He's fine with werewolves, and though Derek's personality might rub him the wrong way overall I think that they could at least get along. Maybe form an odd sort of friendship, even? I don't think that they should hate each other, they need to get along to kick other teams' asses on the Quidditch pitch, so friends? Not really close, but... yeah. xD

And that's all I have who I think would interact with him. ^^ I do have a Ravenclaw sixth year girl who could have gotten along fabulously with him, but seeing as the characters she was created for out of a Wanted Ad are being deleted this activity check (at least, it looks that way), she's probably going to be deleted, too.

Seyton; Derek is on his father’s side and agrees with what he believes in and kind of pokes fun at the argument. Derek’s very much a Ravenclaw with his ideals, like, he knows that he’s not able to personally change anything within the fued so he claims his side and deal with it not really trying to get out of the status quo of things. I don’t think Derek would’ve hated Seyton though, Derek in my eyes of the family Is the black sheep of Ravenclaw, very intellectual and witty, into the dark arts but not malicious in anyways. I think that Derek and Seyton should meet and we can really rp them to get a real feel of how they act because it could be a decent relationship or it could something that should never be touched again, I just don’t know enough to see what would happen exactly. :’> but generally, I could see Derek liking Seyton but not agreeing with what he believed in.

Nikita; I could see Derek hitting on her occasionally in a very fun way and him always giving little hints because that’s who he is as a person. Not even realizing what’s going on with his siblings. Derek’s a pretty quiet guy in the whole social scene, he stays within his own circle not really prying for information about his siblings to much. I could see Derek being completely oblivious to everything and like sitting next to her and offering her a cigarette, just very friendly conversation and then all of a sudden a subtle hint could make him realize that Nikita is who Echo was talking about. Because he knows Jasper has a girlfriend, just no idea who. That whole plot should be interesting though, depending if Jasper would even want Derek in any part of their life, because right now, I think Derek is pretty separated from the whole family drama. Knowing it all, having his side but not very vocal about his opinion. Another duo I wouldn’t mind rping in the common room one day kind of just interacting without him knowing, but I’d like rping Derek finding out and just laughing hysterically, and being “You do realize that our father is going to kill you right? I won’t tell him but you do realize that Adrian the little snoop knows all.” Or just something, because Adrian and Derek will probably hate each other soon and Derek is more friendship/sibling-based then on what side he’s on.

Jaycen; Up to you c: I don’t think Derek would like him at all. He’d probably call Jaycen the golden boy of Ravenclaw and just think bad things of him just because he’s too perfect. But they definetly would have to get along for Quidditch, they could be friends. There’s just so much places we could take all of these. I think we should rp them practicing/bonding over throwing the quaffle at their faces.

, so I kind of asked for all interactions but not at once. I think Nikita would be the most fun at first, just so he could figure it all out and get in the loop before he talks to Seyton and something to talk to his eldest brother about and with Jaycen, that can be whenever.

Seyton; sure! let's rp this one out sometime and see how it goes. this is kinda a big time for sey... all of his plots are kinda unfolding with him finding out he knocked his ex girlfriend up and little plots with jasper and such, so i've got tonnes of threads with him at the moment, but i could probably fit in one more whenever. sey's always my muse hog, so it shouldn't be too too long of a wait in between replies, whenever you'd like to thread.

Nikita; buahaha, this is going to be awesome! honestly, if he said that to her, she'd be freaking terrified, even though she's going to be trying to not let the whole greyback muggleborn prejudice thing intimidate her and scare her away from jasper, it still scares the crap outta her. ^^ this is going to be interesting.

Jaycen; well, as far as the head boy goes, jayce isn't like... cookie cutter goodie two shoes. he is actually a pretty relaxed and easy-going guy, he doesn't leech off of the fame he's gotten being involved in things. the only reason he actually signed up for the tournament was to appease his father, who thinks he's a huge disappointment for being head boy because of the 'golden boy' views. xD i think a thread with these two would sound good some time, like you said, practicing or something. it's always easier to get a better idea of interactions when you thread 'em. ^^

i know you mentioned a commons room thread between derek and nikki, but she does have an open thread up in the library at night where she's actually trying to research werewolves, which could give derek a bit of a hint as to her relationship with jasper, if you think that could work at all. they wouldn't have to stay in the library or anything, but it's up if you think it could work out. if not we could always start a thread elsewhere.
