She was certainty glad when she was accepted to the position considering she had not been out of the hospital herself for more than a year. Nothing bad had happened since she was given permission to leave and being back out the grounds was most helpful. She looked around the hospital wing making sure the beds were neat and everything was going smoothly. She had just started at the beginning of the year and was now really starting to settle in.
The nurse gave one of the sick students a glass of water before heading to the office. She was about done for the night and was in need of some company. She really hated being alone for too long. It was really boring not having someone to talk to. Ever since she left the hospital she did not see many of her old friends or even make any new ones. Sure there were the people she worked with but most of the time she was too focused on her job to interact and by the time she was done everyone else had left except for a couple who were working.
She sighed and took a seat in one of the chairs in the office. She leaned her head back and smoothed out her light blue skirt and white tank. She had just taken off the nurse robe. She turned her head towards the door as it opened. She wasn't expecting to see anyone at that time. But she smiled, hoping to have some company.

Post by MARLON COOPER DELANEY on Jan 31, 2012 20:55:30 GMT -6
If Leauna was hoping for a quiet morning that involved no broken bones, Marlon was sad to inform her that this would not be the case. Well, considering that Marlon was not exactly who one defined as a ‘nice’ or even necessarily a considerate fellow, perhaps he really wasn’t all that sorry. After all, he was having the most god-awful day so far, why shouldn’t she also share in the pain and misery?
And to think, Marlon had thought the day was going so well, so well that Marlon the grumpy had decided to take a walk outside in the cool weather. Well, that is until the Hufflepuff’s cat decided to drop in, quite literally. That put a definitive hamper in his day mostly due to the fact that the Slytherin despised cats. In his opinion, they were foul and selfish creatures. But then his day was further ruined when the Hufflepuff soon revealed that she was stuck in a tree. Honestly, who climbs into a tree and gets stuck? And the cherry on the pie was when she fell and injured herself. It wasn’t like he could just leave her by the lake, injured. So he helped her to the hospital wing. Really, he should get a gold medal for this!
Glancing about the hospital wing and only seeing the one student lying in bed, watching them curiously. Marlon scowled meanly at the hapless individual, clearly unamused at having a witness to his good deed. “Hello?” he called out, annoyance clear in his voice. It was quite apparent that Marlon wanted nothing more than to drop off the injured Yori and flee at the earliest possible time. The very last thing he wanted was to be blamed for the Hufflepuff’s broken arm. Now where was that new school nurse? Well, it was clear that she was not in the hospital wing at this current point in time, something that thoroughly annoyed him. The nurse’s absence was not part of his plans. So now it was time to take things into his own hands.
“C’mon,” he muttered in an annoyed tone as he gently guided Yori to an empty bed, taking care to not unnecessarily move the Hufflepuff's injured arm. Marlon had absolutely no desire to stay in the hospital wing for any longer than he really had to. Since the nurse was currently absent, Marlon had every intention of simply dropping off the Hufflepuff. It couldn't take long for the nurse to return to her place of occupation... right?
