With modern times, the internet has become such a part of people's daily lives. It wouldn't be so far-fetched to think the wizarding world has followed suit. Rather than expose the world to the existence of magic though, you've got a magic-run internet look-alike! For how it works, let's say you get a blank book (maybe how well made the book is, the faster the internet), and through a specific incantation, you can access the internet. From there, you can use your wand to type in keywords, and flip through the pages like accessing different sites. What do you think? Input is definitely welcomed on how different things would work.

Oh hey, a good example is to think of in the second year. Riddle's Diary. Except of course it wouldn't hold in a person's memories. Now let's say they have said book, perhaps they use a quill to write something in it? And of course you can send messages from one person's book to another. Haha, like say when you get your book its made with your magical internet screen name. Umm... So yeah, >.< THat's what I have so far, so people let's start putting ideas together and let's see what everyone thinks of this idea before we go ahead and put it up! As well as get it fined out to where it makes sense and such, .

As much as I like being a team player and as much as I like this idea, I have to say... didn't magic make technology go all haywire? That's just what I've known. I don't know, ignore this if sounds stupid but ok. I'm done.

That's why we were thinking of a magical way of Internet that didn't involve electronics.

Yeah look what happened to the flying car, haha, , but either way, I think that the way it should be done is through the books, however, it will not be hooked up to any technologic related thing. I'm thinking there could be a netframe of wizards that work on it, a network tech wizard team that maintains it daily twenty-four seven, switching off to do so, as students have little pocket books they can take out...then when they write something down to send, the ink doesn't stay on the book, instead posts itself into the other student's notebook, and then the other student can have the option of erasing it just like a text...I don't know if that makes sense but you get the jist of it.

how about instead of a book, it can be like magic screens, translucent, colorful. Like I read a book once where these witches sent messages to each other magically, like texting, it wasn't mind reading or anything but like wave your wand, or maybe it could be just simple wandless magic to open up a "browser" screen & magic keyboard, all flat, like a touchscreen but not technology, just a layer of magic
