Wanted: Elias Vance Frost!!!

Seeing as the other two Frost triplets have been around for a while, it’s high time that we get their third to complete the group. Elias Vance Frost (name slightly negotiable, though he’s always been referred to as Elias… he must have the initials EVF) is the middle of the three triplets. Since Aurora decided that the youngest, Ethan, was to be in Slytherin, I’ve always viewed Elias as more of a Hufflepuff character so for me Hufflepuff would be preferable, but I suppose if you have your heart set on nothing but Gryffindor it could also be an option. The triplets are all in separate houses, however, so both Ravenclaw and Slytherin are out of the question. His PB would absolutely non-negotiably have to be Max Thieriot, because the triplets are identical.

So, the story of these guys? They’re eighteen years old, but only in their sixth year at Hogwarts. How the hell does that work? Their birthday is early September, which put them a year back in their first year at the school. They were separated, pretty much for the first time in their young lives, by the sorting hat and placed into different houses: Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Okay, fine. They still got along well. They had a little sister about three years younger than themselves who they absolutely adored and worshipped, her name was Amara Christine and she would be the reason they were set back yet another year in their schooling. One day, when the triplets were home alone with their little sister (about a month before she was to go to Hogwarts herself as a first year) they made the mistake of letting her on a broom. Despite being told not to and to take good care of her by their parents, she wanted to be just like her big brothers and be able to fly, so she begged and pleaded and they just couldn’t say no to her cute, innocent little face.

In a matter of minutes Amara was dead. She lost control of the broomstick and fell to her death from a great height. Elijah tried to go back to school the following year, with Ethan staying behind (Elias could have done whatever you please), but Elijah didn’t even last three full days at the school before he had to go home, too overwhelmed by the fact that his little sister wasn’t there when she should have been and guilt to stick around. So the triplets missed their fourth year of school, which set them back for another year and landed them a year behind the students they’d been sorted with.

Obviously Amara’s death affected the whole lot of them. Ethan became moody and disconnected, Elijah went through phases of either caring too much about his grades and absorbing them entirely or basically saying ‘screw it’ to school, and Elias is up to you. The triplets have never returned to that happy ‘finish each other’s sentences’ state of brotherhood. In fact, they’ve all kind of fallen apart.

Now, here’s how I’ve kind of seen Elias since the first day that the twins were created. Aurora can put in her two cents later and if they’re extremely different from what I’d thought, you can decide what you’d like to follow. Elijah is the eldest and has always felt extreme amounts of responsibility for his siblings and Amara. Even though it was ultimately the three of them who decided to let her on a broom and led to her death, he feels like he should have been the sensible one. Since Ethan kind of reacted to her death by becoming the extremely bitter one, his relationship with Elijah is strained (Elijah’s a prefect and has recently made many attempts to become very responsible and ‘goody-goody’ some might say, almost as though to make up for Amara’s death). I kind of envisioned Elias to be the in between of the two in all ways. Hufflepuff, calmer, kind of… wanting to tie things together and bring the triplets back to the closeness they had when they were younger. He’s always there for either of his brothers to speak to, should they wish it. This year, seeing as they’ve only got two more years of schooling left to go I imagine he’d be trying harder than ever to patch things up between them and make them close again, seeing as once they graduate from Hogwarts they’d go their separate ways and it would become even harder to ever grow close again.

So why should you take him? Well… he’s rather adorable, a triplet (an IDENTICAL triplet no less…), and there’s potential for drama down the road. I mean, his older brother’s going to knock up Molly Weasley, so there could be tonnes of family drama there.

One more thing. It would be great if the person who takes Elias could get like… 400-500 words in a post at least. I mean, it’s not a necessity by any means, I only say this because I’d like lots of threads between Elijah and his middle brother, and I find it easier to roleplay with someone who gives lots to work off of. Oh, and I don’t think I need to say this to anyone really, but I might as well… make sure you stick around! I don’t want to have to find a new Elias next activity check, ‘cause that sucks. D8

I agree with everything Jade said about Elias. He should be the one who can try and link the brothers back together. I would like to say that it would be great if Elias really tried to get through to Ethan no matter how rude he can be because he has completely fallen off track with who he used to be. Other than that everything else that has been stated if great.

I really want this character!!!! How about I make him when I have enough posts with Isadora seeing as i wanted a new character after that anyway He seems my kind of character.
