[/li][/ul]Okay so I know that none of the champions have been chosen (we need more people to put their names in, especially Hufflepuffs! Haha!). But since I want this to be a member ran plot I would like your guy’s ideas for the tasks the champions will have to do. I know you’ve all have either seen or read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and seen/read the three different tasks. Well here there will be four tasks instead of five, but I would like ideas from all of the members of the site! So let’s put our thinking caps on and come up with ideas! Try not to copy the fourth book, more like use it as your inspiration to come up with new ideas! Post them here by filling out the little form below and let’s see what we can all come up with! But just so you know, ultimately the admins will decide the four tasks since we want them to be a surprise of course! Haha! We just like having ideas from members to use so that they can feel included!NAME OF TASK HERE
[ul][li] description of task here, such as what the champions need to do, what is involved, etc. The more detailed the better!

AILMENT
- The champions will be put into a room full of people. Some of the people are adults while some of them are students each of them are under the influence of a potion or spell. The champions job is to figure out what spell or potion they are under. They have three tries at figuring out what the person is under and fix them. If they get it correct they get ten points added to their score, but if they get it wrong they lose ten points.
BLIND LEADING THE BLIND ?!
- So I just had an epiphany about a fun event for this. So, you have your usual duels, but there are even the challenging ones. This one wouldn't be an ordinary duel, as there's perhaps five rounds you have to go through, and you probably would face off against each of the teachers. Now that's the easy part, the more rounds you get past, the higher you get, the tougher the challenger. Even the head master might be at the last round, but there's a catch. Now as you go up in each round, the first two rounds you'll be able to see your opponent, however, once you get to the third round, the student will be blind-folded. If they want to prove themselves they will show they don't need sight to win, and only spells applicable duels can be applied here. After you get past the third one, the fourth one, you must have your ears covered so you can't hear anything, but the blind fold will still be intact.
As for the fifth round, well you'll have all of your senses if you make it this far. In fact if you do, you -will- get to duel the Headmaster...with handicaps of course.
CHALICE OF FEAR ?!
- The champions drink a potion, from a chalice, which will allow them to dream yet have all their worst nightmares and fears appear in this dream. The champions need to show that they are capable of facing their fears and defeating them. Have 4-5 in the dream. Professors would be able to monitor these dreams but may not interfere unless a champion wishes to end the task. The dreams are projected so that others may watch. At the end of the dream the champions must take a leap of faith into an unknown dark pit, in which they will then wake up.
CHILD'S PLAY ?!
- Well all know how fun a fun house can really be with it's many twists and turns on a straight set path. Of course, this is all fun and games, however, if there were perilous traps at each turn that brings you into a life-threatening scenario, how would -you- react? Swinging axes, and flaming arrows, you won't find those here. Instead you will find a creature waiting in the deepest layer if you make it even that far. The house itself is more or less just a haunted house revamped with many corridors and wrong turns each way you go. Basically a maze, but the twist is that if you get stuck at a dead end. It closes off, opening up to a new path, and also the rooms move around. It is pure luck if you manage to acquire the item in the midst of the house.
Not only do you have to acquire the item, you must also find your way out in one piece, and the others within the house also have a chance of finding you to take it back before you reach the exit. There is only one rule, escape with your life, and the item to win this task. Within the deepest lairs of the house itself, a sphinx awaits, however, the challengers will not know this. If they get the questions wrong when they approach it, well it's safe to say that it won't be a nice ending in the long run.
DUNGEON HUNT ?!
- A scavenger hunt in the dungeons of Hogwarts. The students are locked in the maze like dungeons, with no source of light other then what they can provide (Perhaps 'Lumos' is forbidden?) and must find and retrieve a short list of items within a limited time. Obstacles block their path, such as traps or creatures (similar to the maze challenge). Some of the items might be a bottle of a specific potion or a captured bogart in a chest or something of the like.
ENDURANCE SURVIVAL ?!
- Alrighty, well this task would very well do for the end challenge, a survival of the fittest type thing. Champions have to navigate through the forbidden forest used clues they must decipher whilst braving the elements at certain points such ad snow, hail, extreme heat etc. Each clue will lead them to the next one until the last clue which will tell them the location of the cup, of course they'd have to decipher it first. Along with the elements, the champions would go up against everything that lurks in the forest and a few other creatures the professors have thrown in along with different spells. Each champion (unless doing it in house teams) would get different clues so they have no idea how far the others are or if they've quit. This task would last for about 3-5 days depending on when someone touches the cup. Along with some of the clues, students may get a bottle of water, flint for fire, a tarp/dragon hide for shelter etc, all the students will have with them is their wands. And they may not use any spells that will help them determine the next clue location such as the point me spell or help them decipher the clue.
LOCKDOWN ?!
- basically, the champions are each placed within their own seperate room. the room's plain, the walls inpenetrable and the door locked beyond use of 'alohamora'. most likely the first task, the champions all awaken within this room and have to figure how to get out. they're allowed their wand, and a small source of items that may help them, perhaps even a clue or two to prompt them on how to get out, otherwise, the room is plain. it's a task involving logic and the ability to think outside the box. this task won't be about brute strenght, but about your intelligence!
STOP BLUDGERING AROUND ?!
- The champions must fly whilst being chased by rouge bludgers designed to chase and injure them whilst having to score five goals (ten if in team) however the goals are defended by 2 keepers on each side of the field. The champions and defenders will have stats like in quidditch, to be fair though 15 points are allocated for the 4 categories no matter the year. Brooms are the only thing allowed, no wands.
TALISMAN MAZE DUEL
- The champions will be placed in a maze. All eight of them will start in a different place. They will race to eight platforms scattered in the maze each holding eight talismans that they will need to complete the task. Each platform is designed to lose one talisman every five minutes. The platforms are also designed to trap anyone who gets in it's area of field and force them to duel. They can't leave the area until one of them has consented defeat. The winner then can take the talisman while the loser is forced back to the beginning of the maze. The champion with the most talisman's wins.
WIZARD'S CHESS !?
- Yes, I know, it's an over-rated idea, but it would be fun to do in a forum like this. Where one of the champions has to actually take control of one of the pawns or other piece themselves, then as they claim a spot, must play until the end. Just like standard wizard's chess, but I'm really not sure how this will really play out at all, since it will just be one champion. Of course, in this case, each champion is also give a set time limit to finish it in before it's considered game over. I'm thinking that the game can be paused for a time out should the champion wish it, however, only two time outs worth five minutes each can be issued. Plus I'm thinking the time limit for each wizard's chess game for the champions could be just two hours each...well in threads, probably a week or so. Human wizards chess I meant to say, however, if any of the students fail the pawns will not have a chance of killing them as there's enchantments placed on them. Plus, the only skill the champions need to use are their brains.
WIZARD'S TRIATHLON (needs a better name XD) ?!
- This could also be changed into a biathlon, depending on what characters are chosen (or stay as a triathalon, some characters would just have to get comfortable flying). The contestants begin at the lake. They must swim through it to a set point. Obviously that leg won't simply be easy, as there are many magical creatures living in the lake that could give them issues and they will have to fight off. They are allowed to use whatever spells they desire to get themselves through the waves, such as Krum's shark spell, but they're not allowed to apparate. From there they have to go on foot through an obstacle course where, similar to the lake, they face many sneaky creatures (boggarts, gnomes, etc.) to reach their broomsticks, or perhaps hippogriffs? They then must fly back to the starting point. Maybe through rings that are set up, each ring that they hit being worth extra points. In the end both time, their composure while dealing with creatures, and the amount of rings they hit on the return would give them points.
