theia caught herself humming quietly as she waved her wand at her hair and straightened it (magic couldn't half be helpful sometimes). she was surprised, theia was a pretty good singer but it wasn't exactly something she did very often, and she could only put it down to that slightly unfamiliar bubble of happiness settled close to her heart. it wasn't that she'd never been happy - yeesh of course she'd been happy, but this was a new kind of happy. usually smugness came with that joy, usually there was some kind of bitterness, pride, self gratification .. anything like that really, but this was just pure happiness, excitement and she had to admit, a part of it was that squishy lovey dovey kind of thing she still wasn't accustomed to.

she'd had her relationships..and her little flings and nights that didn't count as a relationship and all of that, and whilst she might have felt something once or twice ...especially that time long ago... it was different and stronger now. of course it was albus, he'd brought about several changes to her - both in her mind, her heart and her attitude. though she would never be one of those happy go lucky hufflepuff's she knew those who really knew her could see that slight difference, that deep down she was a little less bitter, for once she'd been dealt a good hand in life and she wasn't going to let it go. of course that didn't mean she wasn't afraid she'd screw it up somehow, theia might be good at many things, and what she wasn't good at she learnt how to be or struggled through, but she had a habit of hurting people, intentionally or not...and albus was someone she never wanted to hurt.

still things had been going well so far and she headed out of her dorm and out into the common room. today they'd planned to go on a date - a proper date in fact, and she was rather looking forward to it. theia had tamed her chocolate curls for a change and pinned some her hair back, wearing a simple skirt and top with smaller heels - it was getting warmer out but she had a light coat with her just in case. she checked the time and saw she was ready a few minutes early, and so she decided to settle herself in one of the comfortable leather seats to wait - incidentally chasing a first year out of the way in order to do so. she crossed her legs at the knee and settled into the familiar chair to wait for albus.

He frowned lightly thinking about his now petrified cousin that was laying up in the hospital wing along with two others that were petrified after him. A muggleborn ravenclaw named Addie and a half-blood were wolf named Sabrina. He didn’t know either of them, but he still felt bad for them… Who was petrifying the students of Hogwarts now? He wasn’t even sure… Sighing lightly, he closed his book, knowing that he had indeed promised Theia a date during the Hogsmeade weekend. He got up off of his silver and green four poster bed that he’s grown to love all these years he’s been at Hogwarts and walked over to the mirror to look at himself. He was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, a grey and silver stripped polo shirt, with his Quidditch captain badge pinned to it of course and his usual black sneakers. He ran his hand through his untamed jet black hair trying to at least fix it somewhat. Why he was even bothering to try, he didn’t know. What he did know was that it was always a losing battle when it came to his hair. Sighing softly, the young slytherin boy gave up on taming his hair and left it to its usually messy self. He picked up his school bag, feeling quite light with the fact that there were no books inside of it, and then headed on out to the common room where he knew Theia would be waiting for him. A smile grew upon his face as the young brunette came into view; she looked absolutely stunning as usual. That was one of the many things he loved about Theia, it didn’t seem to matter what she was wearing our how messy her hair was, he would always find her to be the most stunning woman out there. “Well aren’t you looking every so stunning as usual,” a smirk appeared upon his face once he was next to the young female slytherin. Bending over he placed a soft kissed upon her cheek before standing back up and holding his arm out for her, ready to go whenever she was. tag: --- notes: template by eliza @ shadowplay

she sank back into the leather of the sofa, watching the flickering flames of the fire in the grate as she let her thoughts take a break. sometimes it was nice just to sit back and relax, to not have to think about anything specific, not have to worry. she found her thoughts drifting however to the petrified students...she didn't often feel sympathy for people, it was fair to say she could be a little cold hearted from time to time, it was party of her, and a part of being slytherin and her upbringing. yet she'd known fred.. she might not have spoken much to him but he was albus' cousin and was a good guy... she had to remember that he would be okay, he wasn't dead... but it still sucked, especially the other students who'd been petrified too.

she didn't actually hear albus approach and so when she felt someone behind her she jumped lightly, then relaxed when she realised who it was. she could usually be pretty jumpy when people snuck up on her, she just didn't like it when people came at her from behind. ever since jacob attacked her she'd been a little more wary.. she didn't like feeling weak or vulnerable and she'd realised that being snuck up on made her exactly so...as a tigress her senses were better, and often people would never be able to sneak up on her, but she didn't just hang around in her animagus form or course. she just disliked the fact that someone could get her from behind.. not that she jumped at every little time, she wasn't some stupid gryffindor, or a 'puff. she could handle herself, there was no doubt, she just got a little funny when people came up from behind her sometimes.

she grinned as soon as she realised who it was and turned her head toward the sound of his voice. “Well aren’t you looking every so stunning as usual,” she blushed, like only albus could make her blush and rolled her eyes, turning her face as she felt him go to kiss her cheeks, moving round properly to capture his lips with hers rather than him catching her cheek. he was so respectful and polite, and sometimes she couldn't help but encourage him to let go from time to time. she liked that he was respectful but...sometimes she just wanted to really kiss him. she pressed her lips to his before pulling back lightly and grinning at him. "well aren't you looking ever so handsome as usual," she teased lightly, though she meant it as her chocolate eyes roamed his face and she felt a familiar squeeze of her heart. the way his hair was all in disarray reminded her of bed hair and she felt a little stutter of her heart to imagine him waking up. he must be so damn adorable all sleepy and mused... it was something she could hope she would see one day. grinning still she headed around the sofa to take his arm, slipping hers through his and walking close to him. "ready to go?" she asked, all but ready to tug him out the door.

But, they could always do that later and with them needing to get to Hogsmeade to enjoy their date, he was sure that if he had locked lips even longer with her they would never make it in time. Feeling her arm slip into his, he guided the young brunette out of the Slytherin Common room. One would think that living down in the dungeon part of the castle, you’d be cold all the time. Suprisingly, it was actually very warm in the common room, perhaps because of the fact the fire was always going. The hallways, however were a bit chillier, but they had been warming up slowly as spring was in session and Summer was soon to come, but by then they would hopefully be heading on home. He tried not to think about the students who had been petrified, he wanted to forget about pretty much everything that day like their upcoming Quidditch matches and the tournament as well as finals. He just wanted today to be about him and Theia. He wasn’t even wondering where Scorpius was, probably off on a date with his cousin. He had to admit, he was still surprised when during the second task Scorpius’s loved one ended up being his cousin Rose Weasley. But if his best friend was happy, there was nothing he could complain about. The nice thing was that Aubrey wasn’t hanging around them as much as she used to. Sure he got along with the girl, but at times she did get rather annoying with her peppiness. It seemed his thoughts had engulfed him most of the way to the great hall and to the doors. Professor Longbottom was there checking of names and making sure those that are allowed to go to Hogsmeade were going, rather than those that were trying to sneak on out. “You know, I was thinking we don’t have a whole lot of these trips left do we?” he thought out loud as he looked over at Theia. Professor Longbottom had checked off their names and allowed them to head on out and follow the path to Hogsmeade. “I mean, next year is our last year… who knew time here would be going by so fast,” he said lightly as he enjoyed the warm spring breeze that was flying around them. tag: --- notes: template by eliza @ shadowplay

she grinned when he returned the kiss, her lips turning upward at the corner in response to the touch of his own against hers, enjoying it, feeling tingles ripple along her skin and cause her goosebumps. some people wondered how she could do it - how could she kiss her best friend? they had been close for so long they wondered how she could kiss him and not find it 'weird'. in fairness, theia didn't really have an answer, she didn't know why it wasn't weird really, it just wasn't...it felt right. she couldn't imagine kissing anyone else and she didn't want to. it wasn't like she was overly-affectionate, she liked kissing albus, could do so for hours, but she didn't like being one of those couples who just made out all the time or ignored their friends or something, especially as scorpius was a best friend of them both and that would made it awkward. but still, sometimes you would see them cuddled up, kissing, holding hands.. after all she did love him, she liked showing him affection.

they broke apart after a few moments, both clearly slightly reluctant but keen to begin their date. after all they hadn't done the whole 'dating' thing before they'd gotten together, just the masquerade ball and that had more been a .. mutual connection and a lot of kissing, they hadn't really been out on proper dates and theia was not only looking forward to it but curious. she didn't know what albus was like on a date - like he was in their relationship she supposed, but still she was honestly interested. she slipped her arm naturally through his, drawing close to him until their hips brushed occasionally as they walked, her hold light on him but comfortable, familiar. she liked that everything felt so familiar with him and easy, so natural .. like it was something they'd always done, something they'd always been; a couple. she wasn't sure about the whole soul mates thing, but if she had been then she would have said they were.

they headed out into the corridor and she shivered slightly at the change in temperature, the drop from the warmth of the common room to the hallway was surprising. she wasn't really cold or anything but she just hadn't expected the drop in heat and she pulled albus a little closer, wanting to cuddle into him slightly whilst they walked in order to try and warm up a little. a part of her wondered where scorp was then figured it didn't really matter - not that she didn't like him, course she did, but today was for her and albus, not a day to hang out with friends. besides she was sure he was off with rose somewhere..who she liked more than aubrey it had to be said. she was glad she didn't have to pretend to like the annoyingly peppy gryffindor anymore, and could freely dislike her once again. “You know, I was thinking we don’t have a whole lot of these trips left do we?” she glanced at albus, tilting her head up slightly as they headed out of the castle without a second thought. "nope, term will be over soon," she responded lightly. it was weird to think when they returned it would be their last year. she planned to make the most of it. “I mean, next year is our last year… who knew time here would be going by so fast,” she nodded, walking quietly beside him, content, peaceful. "i know.. i think i'm actually going to miss it here... i have no idea what i'm going to do when i leave. what about you?" she asked, glancing at him. one thing she knew for certain luckily, was that she'd still have albus and scorp. two guys she didn't plan on loosing.
