hello my lovely nmsers!

so, it's no secret that things have been a bit slow recently, but fear not because this is going to change! nms is going through a revamp of sorts, involving several steps to bring us back to our former glory.

firstly i would like to direct your attention towards this thread. it is no fun having a character that you've lost muse for, so this thread is one big opportunity for anyone to give up characters that have lost their magic for them. don't feel bad if your muse runs low, it happens to the best of us, and sometimes it is better to give up that characters so that your stress over their muse doesn't affect your other characters than keep them and only stress yourself out. in this thread we are asking everyone to name the characters that they wish to keep. all characters not on this list will be deleted.

secondly, head on over to this thread. all roleplay threads that you want to keep and continue should be named in that thread. all not posted there will be moved to the archives to clean up our boards.

miscellaneous updates/information

• seeing as the site seems to be centred on older students and young adults, students third year and younger will no longer be accepted as characters.
  
• once this 'revamp' is complete, the next months phase of roleplay will begin, so it shall be march and april on the site.
  
• going along with that, the dice rolls for the quidditch game and tournament will be finished quickly with no further roleplay posts, so that we get the results and can move on.
  
• classes for teachers are no longer mandatory. teachers can create class threads if desired, but it is not absolutely necessary.
  
• this doesn't much apply to members, but the advertisement boards will be cleaned out so that we can start fresh on advertising and get some new blood to the site.
