James, being as popular as he was, really didn't care who he had as a date at this time since he preferred just going it alone in the first place. More fun to be had, and there were many pretty girls within Hogwarts that caught his attention. Avoiding Slytherins as much as possible this time, but he had to keep an open mind about a few. Not all of them were prideful con artists like Jacob Warrington or the few others that had a name to them. That trio he was in rang trouble, and he was tempted to sneak around to see what was going on there. Especially since Hugo had no reason to attack Jacob in the first place, but a lingering feeling told him there was something else afoot this evening.
Hard to negotiate the facts when you had everyone busy with the tasks, and James himself was also worrying about what the second task would be over anything else. Seeing this was the perfect time to just lay back and enjoy the fresh air, soon walked onto the dance floor. Wearing what looked like a school uniform of types, but he had on a red and yellow striped tie. On his upper half he wore what looked like a white under-shirt, and a grey vest with the Gryffindor logo on it. Then on top of that was a navy blue over-coat that gave him a rather stunning appeal. James's hear was parted to the left to keep it from getting in his eyes, and a bit of gel was in it to keep it that way.
Keeping up his figure was important, because he needed to look good for the press that was there. A mistake to come to the yule ball as he forgot who was singing that evening, but she definitely hadn't been disappointed when he had dumped her on the spot. Or was it the other way around? No one could ever remember hearing about that, since the relationship was rather hush hush. Oh well, and down below he had chosen some navy blue dress pants to accompany his entourage and then looked for some of his friends. Fred instantly popped in his mind, but figured it was best to let some people have some space. Looking over at the refreshments and food...that seemed so appetizing and free was a perfect place for him to be at.
Budging past a few Slytherins to get what he needed to, not caring about their pleas or cries of 'budged in line,' until they realized who it was. James merely turned his head as he ate a dumpling in front of their faces and then moved to lounge at it while looking around for a possible candidate to dance with. Even if a certain Slytherin did show up, but he was curious to see how this evening would actually go if he just got this out of the way. James loved to cause drama, and perhaps an awesome break-up that made the front pages of the prophet would work for him. No, it would most likely end up on the Gossip Witch, so he had to tread even more carefully now since anyone could spy on him.
So, instead, he played it out naturally, and actually avoided hitting on any girl that walked up to him to save himself solely for the right one basically. As amusing as that sounded it was rather true.

Sundays were a day Anthea usually spent alone. Some Sundays she'd curl under a tree with a good book, other Sundays she simply roamed the castle, conversing with all the paintings who cared enough to listen. This particular Sunday, however, was different. For it held with it three important occasions for Anth. The first was that it had been the night of the Yule Ball. A night Anthea had been more than anxious to take part in since the tournament began. The second was that it was Christmas day. Anthea's utmost favourite holiday. It also happened to be the day she was born, marking the third occasion. She couldn't possibly spend the day alone, could she? Much too much to celebrate. Earlier in the day she'd woken up her usual hour and gone down to the kitchen to wish the house elves a happy holiday and helping them prepare breakfast for the start of the day. It was something she did every morning, Christmas would be no exception. After she helped out as much as she could, she set forth back to the Hufflepuff Common Room to retrieve her kitten, Hop. Yet another part of her routine had been taking him out to see the black lake. It was his favourite sight to see, at least she suspected it was. He always seemed irritable on the days she couldn't take him; and Anth wasn't prepared to have him scratching at her arms and legs. She had enough scars as it was. The rest of the day she'd spent celebrating her birthday with her closest friends. Christmas usually meant an empty castle, but this year, because of the Yule Ball, many people had stayed behind. She liked it better that way. It gave the castle a more festive appeal. She opened her birthday presents, read cards from home and exchanged Christmas gifts with her friends. The day alone would have sent Anthea to bed with a smile on her face. But the day wasn't over and one more occasion needed celebrating. The Ball. When the time arrived that everyone would set off, Anthea got dressed. Her dress was a shade of white, had no sleeves and fell at least two fingers above her knees. now normally, Anthea's bare feet would remain as they were. But this occasion proved different. She slipped her feet into a pair of ballet flats, ran her fingers through her tangled hair and slipped through the portrait hole. The corridors seemed quiet, most of the students were probably already in the hall. She followed the music, running her fingers along the walls as she skipped. The hall looked absolutely exquisite, as did all the students in it. Anthea stood by the doors for a brief moment, taking it all in. She tapped her feet on the stone floor, keeping in time with the music, before finally making her way inside. In all honesty, she preferred watching from a distance. From a distance the scene looked festive, peaceful almost, but up close it was rowdy. Anthea plucked a cookie from the refreshment table and darted away as quickly as she could. She watched the students in the center of the hall as they danced, nibbling on her cookie, before something ;or someone rather; caught her eye. James Potter. Anthea brows knitted together in a small frown as she examined the scene. She'd never truly seen James standing by himself before. Without his usual fan of girls and what not. She waved to a few of her friends, making her way to where James stood. "Merry Christmas, James!" She sang sweetly, the corners of her mouth twisting up into a small smile. "You look lovely tonight. Are you waiting for someone?" She asked, offering him a piece of her biscuit.

James was staring at this young woman abruptly come up to him to talk to him, but he got that almost all the time so he just almost waved her off. Until his eyes roamed over her a little bit, but he kept them focused on her eyes just to make it look like he wasn't sizing her up. Chuckling softly at the same time, and started to finally just hone in on her as he instantly took on a rather amazing posture with his hand in his left pocket now. Brushing a piece of hair past his eyes and then finally taking the back of her free hand as he kissed it softly. "I think I'm more honored to be in the presence of such a beauty as yourself, but it's not without saying that I know I'm handsome," he added, trying to take his ego down a little.
Obviously it was so hard to keep himself from starting to just caress her smooth skin, but he was obviously infatuated with her already. Although, he could resist a woman's charm easily, but when a very beautiful girl like her walked up out of nowhere to greet him. Finally just having the nerve to kiss her smooth skin, but he let her hand go as he smiled warmly towards her wondering just how much she would melt from this action. "I'm afraid I've been stood up, but this usually happens when I show my good side too much, haha. Well, what about you? Do you have a date or could I have a dance with such a beauty that dare approach me, and I'm sorry I don't recall your name.." he said calmly.
It would be pure torture to not give him a name, especially if she felt like being a tease, but he had to keep in mind this was the yule ball. Anyone would want to be with James at the same time especially if they had been with him before. Having his share of women made him rather susceptible to being made fun of just cause of his popularity like his father before him. This seemed like a strange reality where he seemed to be approached by cute girls constantly, but usually turned them down unless they intrigued him. James just merely smiled at Anthea too, offering her a hand as he said this realizing just how bold he was being.

Anthea would be lying if she said she didn't find James' behaviour a little peculiar. She only knew of him as apposed to actually knowing him, so she never really knew what to expect. In all honesty, a friendly greeting would have sufficed, not that his charm didn't go unnoticed. By himself. Though she found his charm to be strange, it was always refreshing to have one looked in the eye. Smiling brightly, though still baffled, Anthea allowed her hand to be pecked, her cheeks colouring instinctively. His compliment was gratefully accepted, though she was certain he seemed more keen on the compliment he gave himself. "Thank you." She sang sweetly, returning her hand to her side.
"Stood up, James?" She questioned in disbelief. Though she didn't know him, she knew very well how grateful a girl would be to be in the presence of James Potter, much less actually be his date to the Yule Ball. "Well, your would be date sure has made a terrible mistake." She smiled, returning the favor of complementing him. "I came alone. Dates are messy affairs - I didn't want any part of it." Sure, this was something one would say to save their pride for not having a date, but Anthea really did mean it.
Dancing was a common pastime with her, though she wasn't entirely sure how good a dancer she really was. The possibilities of her failing and embarrassing James and herself were high, but she wouldn't refuse a dance with. "Anthea Celandine." She answered one question, slipping her tiny hand into his as she answered the next question. "And a dance would be lovely."

Three long, exciting and very exhausting years. But it paid off. She had a body just about everyone would die for, she had a voice some described as an angel, Persephone had it all and more. And it had been three years since she had last seen one of her exes. Of course she figured he was still as arrogant as ever but that didn’t mean she didn’t want to see him.
Not to be outdone by anyone at the Yule Ball, she slipped into a silk dress, the cool material sliding over her skin like liquid. She loved it. Green and black, backless, crystals, plunging neckline and all round sexy, what was there not to like about it. Yes she could just see many jaws dropping when people saw her. She giggled to herself as she twirled, the fabric flaring out before setting back against her long tanned legs. Perfection was the only word she could describe herself. She combed her black gloved fingers through her hair, which she had charmed to be curly. A touch of makeup and she was ready to go.
One would have thought she was going to the ball with a date, and in a way they would have been correct. Her date was the microphone. Oh yes, Persephone had agreed to sing for the Yule Ball, but damn it she wasn’t going to stand up on stand all night singing whilst she watched others have fun. Her heels clicked against the floor as she made her way into the great hall, her head held up high as she made her way to the stage. The first cords of music sounded as her eyes scanned the room, her mouth opened and words poured out as she sung the champion's dance song. All the while she was trying to find those she knew. Maharet and Jacob said they would be there to see her but in the sea of people, she could find them. So she focused her attention onto the dance floor where the champions were taking their dates for their dance. She had heard James had been made a champion. She found him not that long after, but the instant she did see him, her eyes narrowed. Who the hell was that with him? A young, fourth maybe fifth year girl was talking to James. Oh please, she thought, he could do so much better than such a timid and frail looking girl. Probably a Hufflepuff, she thought, no other house would have her with the way she looked, well certainly not her old house, Slytherin. Oh she would love to know what filth was coming from her mouth and was very tempted to end the song mid way. But no, she carried on singing, her eyes trained on James and the...girl. Was she jealous? No not really. James was immature, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t play games with him. | [atrb=width,140]words ,513 words tagged ,James Potter Anthea Celandine Open notes ,thought i'd add some drama here OUTFIT | [cs=2] |

James was just expecting to be able to tell what was going on tonight, but there was one person he forgot would be here tonight. Yes, that was Persephone, someone he hadn't seen in a while, but when he looked up at the stage for a moment he only raised an eyebrow. Obviously, he wasn't prone to dating her again, but he doubt she'd ever go near him again especially since her brother had a pretty good influence on what he thought of the family. Evil as they may be, James still thought he may have a chance with her again especially if he ditched Anthea. No, he wasn't going to do that to someone he just offered to dance with.
Although, this night was going to be fairly interesting now that he had a reason to cause more drama to ensue, but no matter what Persephone threw at him he'd retaliate easily. That was the one thing he was good at, but he didn't plan on staying at the ball that long. Only long enough to just get the usual gander at why he would be targeted in general, but it didn't matter. Thinking of Persephone's brother reminded him he still needed to figure out who was behind Hugo's assault. Or whatever it was, but he decided to just let it be for now so that he didn't just up and leave in the middle of the ball. Ah well, James finally focused on Anthea as he took her hand and went out to the dance floor.
Sure, he was hoping that Persephone wouldn't ruin this, but he'd definitely have to remove her from the stage soon as she was surely trying to cause him to falter. James saw her as nothing more than a puppet especially since he knew he was able to keep himself from making a total fool of himself. Although he was certain that he'd be unable to actually get past the fact that Persephone might try to ruin this chance with the fifth year he was going to be dancing with, although he surely could have done better in some cases. Although, James really didn't care at the moment as he lead Anthea to the dance floor..and then put his hands on her waist while the champion's song was starting still.
Finally getting into the rhythm as he kept her close to him, but finally started to lead as he knew how to letting his feet do the talking for him. "Don't worry, I won't mistreat you at all," was all he said, although he was certainly not bothering to tell her about Persephone...since she was a past acquaintance he used to go out with. So hopefully this night wouldn't turn out too horrific for James, but if Persephone did try something, he still had Alaya to cover his back.

She gave one last look at herself in the full body mirror she had placed next to her bed in the Gryffindor girl's dormitory, a quick once over to make sure everything was in place. She smiled at the reflection staring back at her, the reflection of a tan, spanish princess, dressed in white, a beautiful gold and diamond tiara on her head, with her hair pulled back into a high ponytail, trailing down in between her shoulder blades.
She smoothed down the bottom of her dress, taking notice almost immediately to her bare wrist, she looked back to her bed and picked up a black velvet case, opening it to reveal a diamond tennis bracelet. She fastened the jewelry onto her wrist before checking her reflection in the mirror again, making a minor adjustment to her tiara, for a princess always wears her tiara to a ball, even just a silly school one.
She lifted up the skirt of her dress, pausing for a minute to gaze admiringly at her gold leather shoes, to make sure her gorgeous wand was secured in the holster on her calf. One must always be prepared, she thought to herself before straightening up and moving back to the stair case, gliding down effortlessly to meet the 7th year boy escorting her to the dance, he was attractive, tan skin to complement hers with perfect skin, no acne or scars. He complemented her, and she politely thanked him before slipping her arm into his to be escorted to the grand hall.
She never really expected to stay with the boy, he was just for entrance purposes, which is why she had said yes in the first place, to not even have the chance of being perceived as the "High maintenance princess" who couldn't get a date. To be honest, she didn't want one they just tied her down.
She smiled as she walked through the doors, and waved to a few people who called out her name. She turned to her escort, and as rehearsed asked him to go get her something to drink, for which, if he had a brain at all, he would not return, like she had prompted him for what seemed like a million times. That was the main flaw to the boy, he wasn't the brightest student at Hogwarts.
She looked around the room a few times, getting a grasp on everything there was, there were some stares, but she expected that, she looked like an angel in white, and she was sure the few girls that were staring were just jealous, and maybe a little intimidated, of the tiara. She wasn't delusional, she knew that not everyone liked her, and some thought that she was proud, arrogant, and liked to shove being a princess in everyone's face. None of those were true, but she knew people had those feelings about her none the less. She couldn't blame them either, she would probably be feeling the same way if the situation were reversed.
The music was nice, Kristina thought, looking around for the source. It seemed to be protruding from a girl, no, a woman, who surely wasn't a student anymore. It clicked in a second, when the woman turned around, Persephone! The thought chimed in her head, the girl had done well with herself, training her voice and toning the body, a body which she had no problem showing off, it was obvious, in her dress which made her the naughty to Kristina's nice. Good for her, Kristina thought, a smile on her face, she had always looked up to Persephone's determination to get what she wanted, even though she didn't always approve of the ways that she went about getting those things. Though you could never say that Persephone didn't have a great work ethic, perhaps she would go over and wave, not interrupt her singing by trying to have a conversation with the Slytherin girl, but just a wave. She couldn't remember if Persephone hated her because she was muggle-born, like the majority of Slytherins, sadly, but what the heck, maybe Persephone was one of the good ones, it had been a long three years.
Yes, she would go wave hi, she thought as she started walking towards the girl, not exactly paying attention to where she was going as she tried to maneuver through the dance floor, where she crashed suddenly into a man's back, "¡Maldita sea!" she said in her perfect spanish accent for a, less the perfect word, as she fumbled to catch the tiara that fell off her head, finally getting it in her grasp she returned it to her head and sighed, brushing her hands over her hair to make sure it was still in perfect place, it was, Thank god for hairspray! She turned her attention back to the man and girl she had bumped into, ditching the accent she said in her soprano voice, "My apologies." curtseying to the two, she recognized the one, James Potter, she recognized him from the dormitories, but didn't until now, she realized, ever talk to the boy. Which was peculiar because she heard he made it a habit to flirt with all the girls at Hogwarts. The other one she had no idea, some random girl, probably a hufflepuff by the way she carried herself, she repeated herself a look of concern on her face, "Again, I am so sorry. Are you both ok?"

James was slightly annoyed by all the interruptions, but when this next beauty ran into him he was certainly inspired to help his date up if she were one at this time instead of the other girl. Using his body's momentum to anchor his weight into the right procession of his fall, and then rolled under Anthea so she wasn't about to get the brunt of the force from what he had done. Perhaps he was being a gentleman by not wanting Anthea hurt over the other girl whom he barely knew next to the girl who would be on top of him shortly. Luckily if she did land on him, James wouldn't be responsible for whatever happened next either, but he wasn't about to pull any crazy moves.
Yet, the way he had anchored his body meant she was bound to land on him and near his lips, he was hoping this wasn't too much of a bother. Just waiting to see if she was alright as he felt both of them hitting the ground either way, and when James hit the floor he felt slightly odd at the slight crack his back made. Odd, though, was that the girl in front of them was apologizing yet she had barged in there without looking around her surroundings. James was tempted to just give this girl the whole what-for until he glanced at Anthea's succulent, beautiful face again, getting lost in it.
No, she was a fifth year, James, snap the hell out of it, but he knew that pretty girls were littered all over this school and they needed to be tested at some point...as were the case. It was a tradition he would like to uphold from his earlier grandfather, however, that would mean he wouldn't have an interest in girls besides using them. James really didn't want that for any of them, but he preferred adventure over getting tied down right now. Hell, anyone with a champion at the Yule ball was bound to get a flock of admirers too, and ask what it was like. James soon turned his attention to Kristina after asking if Anthea was alright, "Excuse me, but please watch where you're going next time. I may not be as clumsy, but the key to a perfect stride is balance. Apology accepted otherwise," he said to her, not even bothering to say it was okay.
James was rather prideful, but he wasn't going to admit he got knocked down by a girl either. Trying to stand up with Anthea on top of him as he was attempting to help her up too IF she had fallen on him that is.

Anthea's thoughts came to an abrupt stop when the two were knocked over. It was really expected, the hall had been so packed, but it was still a little strange that someone had been wandering around the dancers. Or maybe Anthea was just paranoid. The bump wasn't too bad, it was the landing that was awkward in a sense. Falling over, Anthea landed on top of James, much near his face. However, the distance between them, or lack of rather, escaped her mind when she heard the crack of James' back.
Although the fall wasn't her fault, she'd still landed on James while he landed on the floor, and for that she felt guilty. Blushing guiltily, Anthea buried her head in the crook of his head. "I'm so sorry, James. Are you alright?" She looked up again, just to be sure.
As James began to stand up, Anthea slid off of him and stood up herself, with the help of James. Still trying to regain her balance, she glanced at the girl who had been responsible for the fall. James seemed a little upset, but this girl seemed to be genuinely sorry. "I-it's fine, really. No b-blood, no foul." She meant it too. Though, she was still concerned about James.

Leaving James and his so called date for a moment, she glanced over and what it was. A tiara adorned the brunette's head. Oh course she should have realised she would be here. A prissy little Gryffindor princess, Perse had always liked to call her. If she had been placed in Slytherin, it would have been a totally different story. Perse would have attempted to make friends with her then. They were similar to one another, they both wanted to look their best and be the best. She watched the girl stare at her just like she was doing the same to the princess. Really did she have to make it so damn obvious of her royal status with that tiara?
Persephone sung flawlessly, her eyes watching the girl approach. Why was she approaching anyways, it wasnt like they had been friends, but then they hadnt exactly been enemies. Of course she probably thought everyone adored her as a royal. Ha, that was a laugh. Kristina could continue being the princess, Persephone classified herself as a queen. Sure not of royal blood, but she was the queen of modelling at the moment. She was in high demand and that was something that royal blood could get. She watched as the girl simply bumped into James and the delicate looking girl and frowned. Now that was not on, no one dared do that to her ex. She kept singing, wishing the song was already over so she could go over there and drag James away from those girls.
Eventually the song ended and she turned, gave a few sharp words to the live band behind her before stepping away from her beloved spotlight and headed towards the small group, pushing people out of the way to get to them. She held her head high, gave the air of grace and confidence around her as she stopped and looked at James and Anthea, they were simply too close for her liking. "James my dear," she replied, her voice sweet and innocent, although she was fuming at the other two girls underneath her calm exterior, waiting til he had stood and helped the Hufflepuff before throwing her arms around him in both a hello hug and a possessive one. Just because they were exes did not mean she liked sharing him. Walking behind him, she rested her chin on his shoulder so she could look at both of the other girls, her arms still around him. "Kristina, as glitzy as ever," she spoke to the princess, plastering a fake smile over her lips before turning to the other girl, "And who is this delicate looking doll?" | [atrb=width,140] words ,

James was still actually waiting for an answer from the girl that had knocked him over, but as soon as he heard the music stop. That was when his fear struck him, but at the same time feeling Persephone's body against his sent electric shocks up and down his spine of lust. Yet...he knew how they had ended, but he was almost glad to see her coming after him again. However, he couldn't complain about the times he had been with her, but he didn't know if she was even a virgin anymore. James, himself, obviously wasn't, but he did like getting around quite a lot with many of the women in the school. After all he was the ladies man around here and no one was going to take his place not even some fifth year little shit like that Ravenclaw he saw earlier hitting up every girl he talked to.
James had some class when talking to pretty girls at least, and not making it obvious at all what he wanted. Usually he annoyed them too much to even bother going further than that, but looking at the girl he had actually been wanting to kiss this night on the spot. Looking over his shoulder his lips accidentally grazed Persephone's cheek as he had purposely meant to do that to perhaps make these girls leave him alone. Yet, he just wanted them away from her so that Persephone didn't do anything crazy, but there too many people to really try anything. James knew better than to think that, especially knowing who her brother was too. Ah well, he was in a bind and this was just not going to end well.
"Oh, she's fine, Persephone, and this is Anthea, I don't know who the girl who barreled into us is though. So, you were singing tonight, I must have forgot about that, but I was kind of required to show up," he said with no notable tone in his voice..it was neither happy nor angry that she interrupted his fun with Anthea. Now he glanced to the second girl and decided to nod towards Anthea too. "Don't worry, I'm still alive, and kicking, I'll be fine...it was just a minor bump. It happens to everyone once and then, apology accepted. I advise you to be on your way though, Persephone, unless you are here for your own benefit...as per usual," he added again, just as disdainfully as before, yet he held a half-smirk back a little. James was being rather nice to Persephone, but he still loved the feel of her body against his already trying not to let it show either.

It was something she craved. Not his body in particular but to have one pressed against her, to have one doing inappropriate things with her. She didnt care whether it was love or lust. She had once loved James, as much as she wouldnt care to admit, she wasnt about to share him, no matter how many years had passed between them.
She felt the graze of his lips against her cheek and a wicked smile appeared on her beautiful face. Was this how he greeted women now, or was it because of who she was. How would the other 2 view it she wondered, would they be jealous of her...well they should be, or would they ignore it, simply view it as a hello. She glanced at the girls as James spoke.
"Oh, she's fine, Persephone, and this is Anthea, I don't know who the girl who barrelled into us is though. So, you were singing tonight, I must have forgot about that, but I was kind of required to show up," Ah so she finally had a name for the girl that was dancing with James. Anthea, what a strange name, well the girl was strange so it suited. Required to show up, oh right he was a champion, sucked for him then. At least he got to see her, so he couldnt call the entire night a waste right? What surprised her more though was that he didnt know his own housemate. "Oh I know her, Princess Kristina, princess of some small part of the world and your fellow Gryffindor," he replied in a bored tone.
"Don't worry, I'm still alive, and kicking, I'll be fine...it was just a minor bump. It happens to everyone once and then, apology accepted. I advise you to be on your way though, Persephone, unless you are here for your own benefit...as per usual," Was he trying to get rid of her, ha like that would work. He should know by now that she was hard to get rid of. "Are you implying that someone had sent me here to distract you my dear James," she laughed, "No, I am here for my own benefit." The model turned to James, moved her mouth closer to his ear. "Lets say we get out of here, leave the little girls and have a little fun on our own, if you know what I mean," she whispered seductively into this ear before taking his earlobe into her mouth, nipping at it whilst sending a glare at Anthea and Kristina. If only he agreed, she'd definitely have her way with him. | [atrb=width,140] words ,

James was certain this was all a ploy to back him into a corner to get him exactly where she wanted him and he could tell that she was wanting more of his fame just from this little display of emotions she was putting on. It wasn't normal, but he knew she liked to hog whoever she had been with previously. There was still an intense burning in his heart for her, but he had been young then, now he had smartened up a little to realize the value of using someone's fame. Perhaps this would be a good way to get some rumors spread even though he did have an easier time talking with Perspephone than these two girls that had walked up to him suddenly. Oh well, dancing would be much simpler without tripping over another person.
James just nodded softly as he heard her whispering rather suggestively into his ear causing his eyes to turn towards her face for a moment. Those perfect lips of hers glistening with gloss she had prepared carefully and the fact her whole body was screaming for him to trace sensual touches along her skin almost made his plight a little worse in the end. Looking around, he had to consider what this would do to his own reputation, but it would score him higher with the other popular girls here. After all, who could not want this embodiment of sex all over them? Now that the girls had gone about their own business, that left him with the she-devil trying to get into his pants it seemed. Just another day in the life of James Potter, but as he looked at her softly he raised an eyebrow.
"So, last time, you couldn't even stand the sight of me, you don't just change just like that, unless it's still fame for you over whatever anyone else thinks just so you can have a good time," he said to her, now raising an eyebrow, knowing she'd lose interest as soon as those floozies were well on their way out of the hall. At least he was freed of the younger years and leaving him wide open for her to drag wherever the hell she wanted without him having much in the say to what she did. "Although, I would love to head off, if you are still interested," he said to her as he turned around to wrap his arms around her waist so she had nowhere else to go. Then James pressed his lips to Persephone's again, and old feelings started to spread back into his body again.

She didnt care if people watched, nor did she care about the professors, but she doubted that getting James a detention would earn her any favours in his books.
"So, last time, you couldn't even stand the sight of me, you don't just change just like that, unless it's still fame for you over whatever anyone else thinks just so you can have a good time," Did he really think that, if so he had one twisted mind. Of course she liked him, she wouldnt have put up with his arrogant ways years ago. Persephone simply chuckled in his ear. "Oh how misguided you are James," she replied, her voice still low and sexual, "it wasnt me who couldnt stand the site of you but my brother. He doesnt control my life now, he can't act like the protective brother; he can't do anything to us this time. I didnt spend as much time with you as i was focused on getting my career started back then. And James dear, people do change, i've changed," ok so the whole part about her changing was a small lie, nothing that would be detected by anyone but family. She would have added that everyone liked having a good time, but she felt that was going a bit too far.
Still keeping her arms around his neck, she managed to step around him and come face to face with him, much easier to talk to like this, although she didnt mind the view from behind either. "Come on James, can't we try again. I've missed you," she spoke her voice although full of sincerity. She had missed him, missed the things they got up to late at night, sneaking around the castle, going into hogsmeade on a school day, it was a typical teenage life they had but a good one. They looked good together and no doubt she had helped him score with the pathetic girls that roamed the castle. Perhaps he already had a girlfriend, too bad something unfortunate would have to happen to her, she simply wasnt into sharing, she never had been. | [atrb=width,140] words ,
