the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - "I am not one of your cowardly lackies you can order around. You're even stupider than I'd thought if you still think I'm leaving you alone with my brother." Brother. Not half brother. Brother. In such a unique family situation as the Greyback's had, Seyton's way of thinking had adapted. There was no sense in always classifying his siblings as half siblings when that was all his father had given him, anyway. The loyalty he had to those siblings who had earned his respect, such as Jasper, was equal to that he'd have for any full sibling had his mother given him one during the years she and Fenrir spent around each other. He cared for Jasper, that was plain enough to see, and he would never betray family to danger like Fenrir provided, no matter how dangerous the scenario. What Fenrir said next, however, hit a nerve on the nurse. Angel... they'd had that meeting after the first Quidditch match, speaking for the first time since Fenrir had scared her away from him... did Fenrir know they were back in contact? Had he ever been aware that she'd abandoned Seyton? He hoped that the answers were 'no' and 'yes'. He didn't need to give his father any leverage whatsoever over him, but he couldn't think in time to control the words hissing out of his mouth. "You shut up about her," he growled, hand itching to direct a curse at the man he was forced to call 'father'. The only thing that stopped him was the knowledge that Jasper stood between them, and if the teenager was hurt in a crossfire between his family members Seyton would never forgive himself. So he took a deep breath, clenching his jaw together and hoping that his temper would die down before he did something really stupid. He wasn't worried for his own welfare, rather that of his little brother. He was here to help Jasper, not plunge him into a worse situation because of something that had happened eight years earlier. "She did nothing wrong to deserve what you inflicted on her, and neither did I. Times have changed, Fenrir. Your views are medieval, as is the whole 'parents can control their children no matter what' idea. Jasper is his own person, as am I. You can't control either of us or brainwash us as you have Zmeyette." The laugh annoyed him more than anything else. Was Fenrir really so arrogant? ...That was a stupid question. Of course he was. Seyton had always known that. So, teeth gritted together, he waited for the wave of hilarity to pass over the older werewolf, giving Seyton something to respond to. "That was a fluke. They won't be so quick to release you when they hear you've been attacking students." Even once this was over... once Jasper was safe in the hospital wing and Fenrir had ran like the coward he was, Seyton vowed to tell Kingsley about this. Fenrir was dangerous. People couldn't turn a blind eye to that. He needed to be captured and locked away so that he couldn't harass his children anymore. When Fenrir spoke again, Seyton's laugh echoed the sound coming from his father's lips a few moments before, but it was a far more bitter sound. "A gift? Is that what you call it? I call it a goddamned curse. Who the hell in their right minds would want to be a bloody monster?" Of course, he knew his father rather enjoyed being a monster, but he'd said 'in their right minds', which Fenrir surely was not. He froze, however, when he saw his father's hand tighten around Jasper's throat. His eyes narrowed at Fenrir. He couldn't decide if he should believe him or not... Jasper was one of Fenrir's sacred children, which was a point against Fenrir actually having the determination to kill him, but then again Fenrir had so many sacred children that he could dispose of one and not even notice... He took a step back, wand raised in the air to his side as though he were about to give in and drop it to the ground, therefore leaving both Seyton and Jasper at the mercy of a psychopath. Sorry, Jasper, he muttered silently in his head, already apologizing for what could very well get the boy killed. But either way, they were essentially screwed... With a flick of his wrist and a hissed word Seyton aimed the counter curse to what he assumed to be the body binding charm at his brother, made all the more convenient by the fact that Jasper was out in the open and a clear target being used as a shield. He prayed that the Gryffindor would have himself collected enough to bolt the moment he regained control of his limbs. (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

The sense of fear he had had a second ago was growing, and it was being pushed and warped into something by irritation and his blood was boiling again at the same time, feeling two emotions at once, not something he loved.. He put it down to the werewolf genes he had in him. Granted he wasnt full werewolf, but he still had the temper, that flaired when something didnt go his way and he was hating the fact that he couldnt move right now. He was listning to what the words the men were passing, and to him they didnt make a lick of sense, what was this about a girl? Jasp would remeber to ask seyton later when they got out of this, if they managed to get out of this alive.
He felt fenrir's fingers tighten around his throat, and suddenly he couldnt breathe. His father was cutting of his air supply and there was nothing he could do about it! His eyes widened and he saw Seyton look like he as about to drop his wand, what the heck was he doing. He should take the wand and run. All of a sudden feeling returned to Jasper's limbs. it took him a second to register it and he remained as still as he could until he was sure, until he had just about run out of air in his lungs. He suddenly reached around to the pocket he had seen fenrir stash his wand in and he wrapped his fingers around it tightly and went to try and stab it into Fenrir's side, hoping to actually stab the guy long enough so that he could get away.
He tensed and he made to rip his way out of his father's hands, feeling his skin tear as he pulled his way out of fenrir's grip, the blood running down his neck as he did. He made to try and scramble away from the man that had used his as a shield. How low did you have to get. He hand went to his throat as he coughed, the movment forcing air back into his burning lungs and he dropped onto the sand a few feet away from seyton. He was feeling exhausted.
Not knowing whether it was from the blood loss of lack of air but for one thing he hated it. He could feel the blood from the grazes and slices on his back trickle down and his shirt was soaking them up. He bit his lip and tried to scramble back again, holding his side as he did, the injuries hurting him as he did. He didnt want to be a coward, but he gripped his wand and made to move so he was next to seyton, the only problem was, he didnt think he could stand without passing out.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 717 The Tagged: jasper greyback and seyton greyback The Notes n/a He never said his children were stupid or lackeys, well maybe in his mind he thought some of his children were stupid, like Seyton and damn it he wasn’t going to let his eldest son corrupt his second youngest son. He couldn’t help the growl that came from his throat, how dare Seyton call him stupid. He wasn’t the one to turn his back on the family by bringing a mudblood to his home, he wasn’t the one that insisted he loved said mudblood. But it seemed like he had hit a nerve with Seyton as well, all he had to go was mention the girl. So either the boy still held feelings for her or it was just genuinely a sore topic with his after all that had happened, ah well, the thought, he could use that to his advantage. What was that about brainwashing Zmeyette? He dare talk like that about one of his precious daughters. "Don't you dare bring her into this. Are you jealous, is that it? Jealous because I stayed with her and her mother and not you?" He wondered if that was part of the reason why Seyton had defied him, oh stupid, stupid boy.
A curse, no, the bite was not a curse not if you didn’t make it one. If Seyton wanted to think like that, well then Fenrir wouldn’t stop him. The bite was something that all half and part werewolves craved eventually, sooner or later his children would come to him. Catching the glare Seyton had given him, he wanted to laugh again. Oh this was so exhilarating, he thought as he watched his son comply. Well almost. He had held his wand out, looking as if he were ready to drop it but that moment the tables turned slightly. The damn idiot had countered his spell on Jasper. Great, just bloody great, he thought as he felt his son wriggle under his hands. What was he doing, and a moment later he realised just what he was doing when he felt a sharp jab in his ribs. Oh, his mind said silently as he felt the wind get knocked out of him, his grip on his son had lessened a bit and a moment later Jasper had managed to get out, leaving blood smeared on the werewolf's fingers. The scent of blood was driving the wolf within crazy. Lifting his hand to his mouth, he took one lick of the blood, the wolf settling down, but for how long he didn’t know. "You idiot," he spoke after regaining his breath as he looked from Jasper to Seyton, not really sure who he directed that comment too, not really caring either. With a wave of his other hand, the remaining blood vanished, leaving his hand clean once more before looking at his sons. "Do you want him to die?" his question was directed at Seyton.
He stood up straighter. Did these idiots know what could and most likely would happen to a half werewolf, obviously not or Jasper would have gladly gotten the bite. "Tell me, how many half werewolves do you know of that are over the age of thirty," he asked both of them and the answer was quite simple. None. He didn’t even bother waiting for a reply. "Half werewolves die before they reach that age, most die fresh out of school because of the anger. They cannot control it like a full werewolf does and because of that they get into fights they cannot win. So Seyton, are you prepared to have the death of your brother on your hands?" his wolf eyes turned to Seyton. His eldest should have known all this, or was he really not that bright? Perhaps he could still get Jasper to say yes, there was one thing the werewolf hadn’t used yet and he really didn’t want to use it on his own children, but he was left with no choice. "Not only am I the alpha of our family, but I am alpha of all werewolves, whether full, half or part," his voice carried the authority of an alpha, his wolf strengthening his voice as he stared down his two sons. "Jasper, Seyton, you will..." he squared his shoulders before barked out one single word, "...Obey." |

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - Seyton was literally holding his breath, watching his brother in the second that hung in the air after he cast his spell. It seemed to last a lifetime of expecting Fenrir to dig his nails into the boy's neck and eliminate Seyton's little brother. But when there was movement, probably only miliseconds after he cast the spell though it seemed much longer, it was on Jasper's part. With a bit of struggling the sixth year broke free, bolting towards Seyton and immediately dropping to the ground beside him. The nurse cringed at the blood on his brother's neck, and scowled at Fenrir's disgusting movement. How could he and Seyton possibly be of the same species? That type of bloodlust Seyton had never experienced... well, at no other time but full moons and perhaps heated moments around it... but he could control himself. He didn't give in to the emotions his father seemed to revel in. "Stay down, Jasp." Still holding his wand aimed at their father, Seyton glanced down at his brother, forehead furrowing in worry. He didn't like how weak his brother looked... like he was about to pass out at any second. If he and Seyton had to be the ones to run from this fight, that would be made all the more difficult by Jasper being deadweight. As it was he didn't think Jasper would be able to make any speedy escape even while walking... carrying might be faster. But both would be too slow to get away from Fenrir if they were alone, so Seyton had to make sure that it was their dear dad who gave up and left, not his sons. "Tit for tat, Fenrir." It was incredibly hypocritical to bring up someone in Seyton's life and then take offence when he did the same, but then again why should the werewolf care? "My mother and I were perfectly fine without you. She was a hundred times more carefree when you were gone. I don't need to be some spoiled brat like your precious daughter and I am who I am because I wasn't around you, so no, I'm not jealous. I enjoy thinking for myself." Sometimes it scared Seyton, thinking about 'what ifs'. What if Fenrir hadn't gone to Azkaban, and had been free to be around Seyton in crucial years of his development so that Seyton had adopted his father's mindset as much as his little sister had? He could have easily been the brainwashed fool, hanging on to Fenrir's every word and worshiping his ways as the only real way to live. Thankfully he'd been raised by his mother... the sweetest, gentlest woman imaginable and had no time to absorb his father's views. That was the crucial difference between Seyton and Zmeyette, or any of his siblings who followed their dad. Who they'd been raised by. The smart ones had been away from the influence of the Alpha werewolf while the fools had been sucked in from infancy... sad, really. Neither Seyton or Jasper were idiots. Really, he thought they were among the smartest of the Greyback kids, so the insult flew over Seyton's head. What Fenrir thought of him had stopped mattering to the man eight years before. But the second thing Fenrir said did strike a nerve. It was a stupid question, really. Seyton had not confronted the pair just to let the boy die. But... he knew what the man was talking about. He was a healer and so the statistics had been run by him a zillion times through his time at St. Mungo's. Never had it made him feel lucky to be a full werewolf. "You should give him more credit," he spoke in a low voice, eyes narrow and his hand steadily holding and aiming the wand. He remembered Jasper coming to the infirmary earlier in the year because he'd controlled himself enough to punch a wall and not another student. As Seyton had observed then, the kid had a good head and heart. The combination could help him combat his 'inner werewolf'. At least, Seyton hoped it could. "Or get to know your children before you judge them. Maybe that would be the case for one of your prize offspring, but it's amazing what being raised by a decent parent can do to a kid."He gritted his teeth. Well, didn't his dad think highly of himself... unfortunately with reason. The pack mentality that flowed through his veins with his werewolf blood wanted, on instinct, to give in and obey his father as the alpha, but the common sense in the nurse screamed against such stupidity. This wouldn't be the first time he had defied his father. His free hand clenched into a tight fist at his side, short nails digging into his palms, while his hand around the wand tightened its grip until it was nearly painful for the nurse. He hated how much effort it too to utter one single word of defiance when his father got like this. "No."(Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

Jasper heard his brother's words and he nodded. He hadnt planned n getting up again, well unless he and Seyton had to do a mad dash to get away from their father. He coughed and bit his lip, the action causing his ribcage to feel like it was about to explode. He saw Fenrir lick the blood of his hand and he almost gagged. He was enjoying his own sons blood now? . . "T-thats . . s-sick" He mutter as his eyes narrowed at fenrir and he managed to raise his arm to aim the wand he held at his father's chest. He wasnt against blasting the old man into the tree's. Shouldnt be too hard, and beating him probably wouldnt be too hard either, a old man against two young wizards, well, Jasper didnt want to get cocky either.
"W-whose t-the i-idiot? . . t-the o-one who g-got a-away . . o-or t-the one w-who l-let g-go of . . h-him" He said, a slight smirk turning up at the corner of his mouth. He very well knew that this could, maybe turn into the end for him and seyton, but he was happy, he had gone down fighting, not just laid down and died. He heard the big spiel Fenrir put on about how half wolved didnt live till the age of thirty. Well that was a shame, Jasper was just gong to have to prove him wrong. "G-guess i shsould s-start l-living l-life t-to the f-full then . . . n-not g-got l-long t-to live then" He spluttered out, the taste of scarlett touching his mouth again. He swallowed and kept his eyes trained on Fen.
"I c-could c-care l-less if y-your t-the alpha o-or not" He spat at his father. He really didnt, he had never felt what it was like to have an alpha command him to do something since he had never met his father he didnt really have any chance in the past, but now, as his father spoke the words, he felt the weight of it, and defying it, well it felt like the war going on with in his head would rip him apart. He managed to turn his head to glance at Seyton, and he saw how much effort his big brother was putting into saying the word no. He glanced back at fenrir and he shook his head from side to side shakily, and he managed to force his lips to part and force the word "no" out at him. As soon as he said it, he felt the war in his head die down sligthly, the war on whether to follow his father, or turn his back on his blood.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 584 The Tagged: jasper greyback and seyton greyback The Notes n/a Fenrir simply smirked. Sick, he thought tasting blood, no matter who’s it was, was sick, oh Jasper simply didn’t understand that it was natural for a werewolf, something about blood aided the scent of finding a specific prey. Jasper would not get away from him at easily, even if Fenrir decided to walk away right now, he would find the damn stubborn Gryffindor later, when Seyton was not around. Maybe he could even have his well behaved children help him, let them see what it’s like to overpower someone and make them feel helpless. A simple lesson for a werewolf if they intended to rise in ranks and after all who wouldn’t want to, no one wanted to stay on the bottom, now that was a sign of a crazed wolf that needed to be put down.
His eyes turned to Seyton as he tilted his head, almost like he was regarding what Seyton said with curiosity. He was happier without him, well then fine, he could rot in hell for all he cared. Yes he would damn his own son to hell. Did he really think he thought for his other children, they had a mind of their own and they chose to follow him. Of course they sometimes questioned his methods of doing things, what curious child wouldn’t and he never got mad at them, Seyton simply didn’t know what he was talking about.
Give the boy more credit, well he'd give credit only when they showed credit and respect to him. For Merlin sake, he was their father, ok perhaps not the best father, but he had provided siblings for them, people that they could turn to, family. What more did they want, for him to sit at home with them and play dress up with his girls and kick a ball around with his sons, Fenrir Greyback was not that kind of man. He did not know how to be that affectionate and although he tried his hardest with his 'proper' children, they seemed to think it was enough. "No," he spoke, "Why should I give credit when neither of you deserve it?" Although he had asked it as a question, he didn’t want an answer. Get to know his children well hey now if they didn’t run from him he'd gladly. His eyes shifted to Jasper. "Perhaps if you stopped running from me, I could get to know you, kind of hard to do so chasing one another, don’t you think?" another question, this time he wondered what Seyton, or Jasper's answer to that was. This was not his fault he was the one that wanted to talk and Jasper wanted to run, if only Seyton had been here from the beginning of the conversation, he'd shut up with the crap he was saying about getting to know his children. The guy was trying, his damn kids were the problem, making it hard for him, no wonder why they got hurt.
He clenched his teeth as both fought to say no to his direct command. Stupid stubborn Gryffindors, he thought to himself as he folded his arms and stared down his children. If they wanted to defy his order, well then he'd sooner or later force their cooperation. "You won’t be around to save all your siblings Seyton," he said to his eldest before directing his next words to the both of them, "I hope you've learnt to sleep with one eye open cause I’ll be coming for you." |

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - Every few seconds the elder Greyback son found his eyes darting to his brother, worried especially when Jasper tried to speak. The stuttering... the coughing... the scent of blood so strong in the air... Seyton really hoped that his brother didn't pass out on him. While that would save the younger man from quite a bit of pain, it would be no help to Seyton when they finally got out of this mess and the nurse was trying to treat him. What if Jasper slipped into a coma? That would not be good, to say the absolute least. Seyton was an adept healer, he had to be to be the assistant head at Hogwarts, but he didn't have the skill or knowledge set yet to deal with a crisis like that. As long as Jasper didn't move around though and sustained no more damage, he should be okay, right? Maybe a little bit dizzy from blood loss and the whole ordeal... maybe he might faint, which would certainly be understandable... but Jasper was out of Fenrir's hands now. He'd be okay. He let a small smile curl the corners of his lips despite the situation as he heard his little brother's retorts to everything the elder werewolf said. Fenrir likely thought that Seyton was such a poor influence on Jasper, but he hadn't done that much influencing that he was aware of... the kid just had sense. He'd been raised as Seyton had been, which essentially meant that he had not been raised to be a cold blooded killer and monster. Fenrir could blame Jasper's 'shortcomings' on whatever he chose to do so, but the fact was that he didn't have as tight a hold on his sons as he might like. Seyton was clearly past the point of ever cooperating with his father, and if Fenrir was smart he would realize that the defiant young man on the ground was pretty much just as far gone. He should spend his time focusing on the brainwashed offspring, not the ones who actually liked to think for themselves. "You don't want to 'get to know him', and you certainly don't want to get to know me, either. You want to turn him into a mindless minion through threat and intimidation. Don't insult our intelligence." Part of Seyton did wonder what his father might to do him if he, god forbid it, ever got his hands on the nurse. Clearly the twenty-five year old was well past the days when he could be lured back into his father's grasp with a 'heartfelt' apology and a gentle word. Seyton was absolutely no use to the Alpha werewolf, more of a threat to Fenrir's control over his other children. If that was the case Seyton was not complaining. He'd happily look after the little siblings Fenrir hadn't gotten a hold of yet. Some family ties did mean something to the man, even if his attitude towards his father did not reflect that. He felt a surge of satisfaction at the irritation so apparent in their father's eyes at the two brother's defiance. It must be annoying, actually having to face off against kids who didn't worship his ever move. Seyton was rather proud of his little brother for fighting against blood and the urge to obey an Alpha werewolf. The kid definitely had guts and willpower, much like Seyton liked to think he'd had back when he was a student, though back then he'd had a better relationship with his father than Jasper did now. He knew it was no easy feat, and Fenrir could be damn scary when he wanted to, but still the fifth year fought instead of giving in. It was more than admirable in Seyton's eyes. He gritted his teeth together, eyes narrowing when Fenrir aimed a statement towards him. "Challenge accepted," he growled. Again his fingers itched to slash his wand through the air, hopefully giving his father a nice scar so that he could be covered in his own blood instead of traces of his son's, but he resisted the urge. To make the first move in a battle was stupid, he knew that much. Unless it caught the other completely off guard, it just made you more vulnerable for a crucial second. Spells could wait until the last possible second. "You are not going to fuck up the lives of any more of your unfortunate offspring as long as I'm around."The threat didn't worry him too terribly much. It worried him more for Jasper's sake, which was kind of stupid because the boy had better protection. At night he was surrounded by his peers in a secured tower that only a quarter of the school's population knew the password into. During the day he was generally in classes and surrounded by students and teachers. It was only at times like this that Fenrir would have easy access to Jasper, and Seyton was sure there wouldn't be many, if any, of those after today. And as for Seyton... well, he wouldn't mind getting another chance at his dad now that he was eight years older, wiser, and more experienced, but not around Jasper. "I'll be waiting," he promised. "M-maybe if you'd t-tried t-to . . a-act n-nice . . . a-and not s-sneak u-up on . . m-me" He said, his voice fading slightly as his head spun and he shook his head. He hated feeling liekt his, it made him feel weak and he wanted to be ready encase this turned into a fight, and an ugly fight it could have turned into. Jasper too, felt a deep sense of satisfaction when fenrir's teeth clenche and the obvious annoyance of his sons was there in his eyes. It made today seem worth it, the broken bones, the bleeding, it meant something and it hadnt been for nothing. If he hadnt fought, there was a good chance he wouldnt be here right now, and he had to hand it to his brother. He had the perfect timing to come save someone's butt.
Jasper's eyes narrowed as his father spoke to Seyton. He shook his head and bit his lip. He knew he wasnt going to be able to watch his father walk away sitting down. He wanted to do it standing, so it sent a message to fenrir saying he couldnt be kept down. No matter what he did to him. The nly thing that would keep him down would be to kill him, and even then he was half tempted to keep on as a ghost, just to be able to annoyt the people he loved. A slight smirk crossed his face as that thought crossed his mind and he made to push himself up from the snow, his legs straightning so he was upright. So he was shaking slightly, and he was pale, and he was hunched over. He was standing, which most people who had come against his father, probably wouldnt be able to say.
He swayed slightly and he laughed. "y-you t-think . . t-that I'm g-gonna sleep a-anything other than s-soundly t-tonight?" He shook his head. He was probably going to get the best sleep he had in a long time. And he was starting to figure it was because Seyton was gonna try and dose him up on something to make him sleep. Which at thie point, didnt seem like a bad idea. "I m-may l-look . . a-and f-feel l-like h-hell . . . b-but a-at l-least . . . i k-know .. y-yhou have n-no hold over me" He said as he kept his wand pointed at his father, ready to shot a spell at him if he took a step further, his wand was ready, and he had enough rage to shoot a heck of a fire ball at Fenrir, his spells always seemed more powerful if they involved fire, probably because of who he was.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 641 The Tagged: jasper greyback and seyton greyback The Notes n/a Who the hell did Seyton think he was telling him what he did and didn’t want to do? Seyton wasn’t him, he didn’t know what he was thinking so how could he turn around and say that, how dare he judge him after he just spoke about not judging others. He was a bloody hypocrite, one that didn’t deserve to walk this world. He should have finished him off 8 years ago, but like any parent, he thought the kid would change, would simply say he was sorry and make things right again. Well that didn’t bloody well happen now. Insult their intelligence, he done no such thing, it was Seyton that had been the one to do so. Oh how he wanted to simply rip his throat out and then make him eat it. His fingers twitched on his arm but he stayed where he was. Maybe if he could use the body binding charm on Seyton and then on Jasper, he could still carry out his plans, oh but he figured his son would go, run to the head of the school and tell on him. Really, was Seyton that pathetic that he couldn’t fight his own battles. Did he think that Jasper or his other siblings were just as weak to have to interfere. He'd get what was coming to him sooner or later and well if Seyton did tell on him, he was sure his Slytherin children wouldn’t be very happy with their eldest brother, in fact they may very well kill him for it.
Challenge accepted, oh it wasn’t a challenge he had issued, more like a warning and a promise that he would get them. He wouldn’t give up, just like these two boys, he was just as stubborn as them, they must have gotten that part from him. Nevertheless, he was a patient man, he'd bide his time and wait for another opportunity. Again what was with the language from his eldest, he hadn’t used that language yet, which was a surprise to himself as he was usually the first to, so there was no need for it. "Try me," he snarled. Did Seyton know he had already spoken to Faolan and well that conversation had gone down so much better than this one, at least there was no injuries in that conversation, just a bit of smart mouthing.
He glanced at Jasper, hearing his weak voice and not really caring if he fainted or collapsed. Served him bloody well right, Fenrir thought. "It's called using that nose of yours," he replied, maybe Jasper didn’t have that wolf trait. Fenrir simply shrugged his shoulders, "now if you were full werewolf you would have been able to smell me from a distance quite easily." He listened to Jasper, or at least caught a few words and pieced what he was saying together. No hold over him, oh well see about that, Fenrir thought as he lifted his hand and literally waved it, as if he were batting away those words, all in time, he thought. It was all he needed, time and he had plenty of that up his sleeves. "You are in no condition to fight boy," he shook his head at Jasper, it just proved that half and part werewolves were too damn reckless, getting into fights they couldn’t win. He turned to Seyton, why wasn’t he doing anything to get Jasper away from him anyways, was he that too damn selfish. "He'll need St Mungos," was all he said to Seyton. He doubted very much that the hospital wing could cater for an attack like this. Some nurse Seyton was if he wasn’t going to pay attention to the deteriorating health of the boy next to him, "Well you going stand there and let him die cause I really don’t mind either way." |

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - How could Seyton have ever looked up to this man? He could remember speaking about Fenrir to his mother, before she'd died of cancer while Fenrir was still safely tucked away in Azkaban. At the time he'd wanted his father free, near him. He'd wanted to please the werewolf, to make him proud as he'd felt every father should be proud of their son. He'd practically worshipped the ground his father walked upon. Now, many years older and wiser, he delighted in pissing Fenrir off, in making his blood boil and his jaw tense. This was the first meeting they'd had since his seventeenth Summer, but not much of Seyton's opinion of his dad had changed since Fenrir had nearly killed Angel and himself. The man was a coward, a pathetic bastard whose mind was stuck in the stone age of blood purism. It was a laugh, really. He was a werewolf, often looked down upon by blood purists, and yet he had the nerve to take insult at his son's love for a muggle born? Fenrir Greyback might be a damn scary man sometimes, or much of the time, but Seyton refused to let himself be intimidated. He'd fight his father at anything and everything, simply because he could. Stupid? Quite possibly. Seyton didn't care. There were nearly too many Greyback kids for Seyton to keep track of... Val and Zmeyette, and the youngest boy, in Slytherin... Nathaniel in Hufflepuff, Faol in Ravenclaw, and Jasper and Lupa in Gryffindor. He couldn't keep an eye on all of them, and a few were already lost causes, but he'd protect the ones he could. Every person deserved the right to direct their own future, regardless of what their dear Dad wanted. Fenrir might pain werewolfism out to be a gift, but Seyton recognized it as a curse. It benefited nothing in his life, and ruined far more simply because of his nature. Personally he would rather only have five more years to live than many decades as a full werewolf, but that hadn't been in his control since birth, and he knew his younger siblings might feel different... life was always the most tempting option. Apparently Jasper, however, was more inclined to Seyton's belief, which worked out well for the eldest sibling. As long as he didn't want to go completely monster, Seyton would always support him in his right to not be one. Out of the corner of his eye he saw his injured brother struggling to his feet, which was both a good and a bad sign. On one hand, he had the strength, if just barely, to do so. On the other hand, he was draining crucial energy by keeping himself upright. Seyton wasn't going to order him back to the ground, but he did shift protectively slightly closer to his brother, just in case he fainted and needed to be caught so that he didn't bash his head against the ground below. "Yes, sure, why don't I just turn my back for an instant to take him to help so that you can jump me and knock me out?" His voice was layered with sarcasm. Whether that had been Fenrir's intentions or not, Seyton was not stupid. Jasper was bad, yes, but not so terrible that he could not last another minute or two without care, right? "I'm going to get him his help, don't you worry, but you're leaving first, Fenrir, and I suggest you go now. You might want the head start on the dementors." Well, first thing would be first, he would get his brother stable, and then he'd notify Kingsley. There was no reason for him not to. (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

Jasper shook his head and frowned. "T-thanks . . b-but no t-thanks . . i d-dont r-really w-wanna b-be able to smell y-you" He said with a cough, his hand covering his mouth as he did. Feeling the blood splatter onto his hand he frowned and wiped it on his jeans. It wasn very nice tasting, and he spat to the side of him, the rest of the blood tainting the snow beside him red. "I w-will b-be next time . . j-just y-you wait" He said, a challange appearing in his voice. It was true, next time he was going to be ready for his father, and there was no way he'd be able to get the jump on him again, he'd be quicker in running, and his magic would be up to scratch, hopefully enough to defeat the one people called alpha. Jasper didnt, he was his alpha, he was just the man who had given him life, which was the cruelest thing he could have done.
Jasper shook his head as his father mentioned Mungos. He didnt need mungo's. A few healing spells and potions, about a week long sleep and Jasper would be okay. Or at least thats what he thought. He frowned at his father and narrowed his eyes. "I'm n-not g-going t-to m-mungos" He said with a glance at Seyton. When it came down to it, Jasper was probably safer at hogwarts than at mungos, if you really thought about it. But not that that mattered. He saw his brother shift closer to him and he staggered his foot back a step to stop from falling over. His head spun violently and he reached out to grab seyton's arm to keep himself upright, his body racked with coughs and more blood spilled out of his mouth.
His other hand moved to his side again, and his eyes were still trained on fenrir, as his wand slacked in his hand abit, his grip getting weaker on his wand and Seyton's arm as what little strength he had seemed to start failing, leaving his body as fast as ti could and he could have sworn his legs were shaking. He couldnt really tell, all he could feel was pain and all he knew was that if he didnt sit soon, he was going to fall, but there was no way he was going to do anything but stand till his father was gone. He nodded in agreement with Seyton, but he didnt say anything, at his point he wasnt really sure he could anymore.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 307 The Tagged: jasper greyback and seyton greyback The Notes sorry its short Ooh now that did sound tempting, knocking Seyton out with his back turned. It was something a true Greyback would do, what he would do. Knock them down when they're helping others. Even his wolf was eager to do it, to show Seyton that he was messing with the wrong guy. But he didn’t. "Tempting but no," he replied. A dead Jasper wasn’t good for him...well perhaps it was, if the kid refused to get the bite then he was as good as dead to him anyways.
So now Seyton thought he could order him around, how bloody hilarious, he thought. Dementors...oh so Seyton was going to tuck his tail between his legs and tell on him. Stupid idiot, he thought. "I'm not going anywhere," he spoke in a confident tone. He wasn’t going to do what Seyton wanted him to do, "And as for Dementors, I can guarantee they won't come. All things to do with werewolves are in my jurisdiction, they can’t touch me for doing anything to a werewolf and Jasper is off of school grounds, you have no case against me," oh yea he thought, it was great being an alpha, he could get away with so much more than what he used to. "It’s your choice, Seyton, whether he lives or dies. Hogwarts cannot save him, St Mungos has the facilities to administer quicker treatment," he shot a stern look at Jasper. Really now, he wasn’t going to St Mungos. Well then, he guess he'd have to erase the memories of this meeting from his own children, now why hadn’t he thought of using this on Seyton all those years ago. Yes he would use obliviate on his children and with a glance at both of them, he cast the spell, wandless and non verbal, they would never know what was coming. |

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - “Damn you.” He hated how the world worked. How was it that a monster like Fenrir, who had knowingly (he didn’t care what the hell Fenrir said) committed such atrocities at Voldemort’s command, could have such power in his command? The authorities should be keeping a close view on him, watching him so that he couldn’t assault students near Hogwarts… instead he had free reign to do whatever the hell he wanted, according to him, and Seyton didn’t have the knowledge to know if he was bluffing or not… it was likely true, actually. Even with simply his voice Fenrir had such power over other werewolves… it wouldn’t be such a stretch to say that But he knew… if they stuck around here for any longer, something bad was going to happen. Leaving Fenrir behind would not and could not be a simple ‘okay, by now Dad,’ thing. The family just didn’t work like that. Besides, Jasper’s condition deteriorated by the second. He was far worse than Sey had thought a moment ago, which wasn’t good. If they were going to avoid going to St. Mungo’s, Jasper needed to get helped now, so no more time screwing around with their father. He and Jasper needed to get out of here fast to avoid anything happening to them, because Seyton could not focus on helping Jasper and deflecting any spells Fenrir might send at them at the same time… and the fastest way to get out of a place was apparation. It wasn’t exactly a smart move. Apparating oneself under stress was more than difficult to accomplish without splinching. Apparating oneself under stress while bringing along a severely, severely injured fifteen year old along for the ride… some might say that bordered on murder/suicide. The risks of it going wrong for both Seyton and his passenger were very high, but then again, the risks of sticking around to make a slower retreat were just as high. He hated escaping. It was in his blood to stand and fight, not turn tail and run. If there hadn't been the factor of his little brother getting hurt further, or letting his injuries take more of a toll on the fifth year, Seyton wouldn't have even considered leaving. But another look at Fenrir was all that it took to convince Seyton. He would not let them simply leave. That went without saying in the nurse's mind. The Alpha werewolf was going on about getting Jasper help. Yeah, like you would have done if he were with you. But Seyton didn’t voice the opinion aloud. He ignored his father as he finished speaking, leaning down to speak in Jasper’s ear. “Hang on,” he advised, faintly aware of their father’s voice dying down in front of them. He didn’t care for a word Fenrir said any more, so without sparing another glance at the man he turned on the spot, holding tightly on to his little brother as he envisioned their destination… Apparating was easy to Seyton. He’d been doing it for over eight years by now. It was an easy mode of transportation, and the unsettling motion of twisting and turning barely phased him these days. But he had to focus as he went… holding on tightly to his little brother, trying his best to focus so that neither of them would get any serious injuries from this escape. It was all about focus… And then they were there. Amazingly Seyton, at least, landed on his feet, taking a stumbling step forward at the impact of ground where there had been nothing a moment before. They were just outside Hogwart’s grounds, as apparition wasn’t possible within them. This was the closest he could get Jasper to safety, and thankfully it was a far ways away from the Shrieking Shack and their dear Dad. Hopefully the werewolf would give up and leave him and Jasper alone. Speaking of Jasper… On impact Seyton had lost his grip on his brother, but thankfully not before. He twisted around, searching for the familiar figure who couldn’t have gone far, sighing in relief when he saw him. Of course, it could not really be said that the boy was uninjured given the rough treatment from his ever-so-caring father, but Seyton hoped that none of his injuries were from a rough apparation. “Are you all right?” (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

Gripping Seyton's arm slightly, Jasper tried to focus his vision onto Fenrir. It wasn't easy, his eyes swimming and his head starting to swim from the blood loss, the hot, sticky liquid running down his back and no doubt through his body, as the log had probably ruptured at least one organ in him. He slumped against Seyton slightly, staggering as he tried to right himself and his eyes narrowed at his father. So it was seyton's choice whether he lived or died was it. Well it was no one's choice whether he lived or died, it was just about having enough will power, and not helping the case was the fact he had a sadistic father who apparently had a taste for his own son;s blood and causing pain.
Suddenly he heard Seyton's voice in his ear and his head nodded ever so slightly. His eyes didn't leave fenrir as a snarl escaped his lips and his voice sounded weak as he forced it through his teeth. "W-well . . i-i'm n-not g-gonna . . l-live p-past t-thirty . . a-anyway . . " He said as his eyes narrowed and he gripped Seyton's arm as he told him to hold on to him. He didn't have time to think as his brother started to apparate them out of there, he assumed thats what it was, he didn't think he was dying he thought it would be a lot less odd than this, he felt his body twist slightly and then his head felt funny, it was an odd sensation pulsing through him and then he jerked back as he was pulled into the apparition with his brother.
He tried to grip his brother's arm as they spun through space it's self, the unsettling sensation of twisting and turning, it felt like they were out of control, and it felt unnatural as they moved through the motions of the apparition and suddenly he was on the ground. The shock of landing on the ground had floored him, still feeling like he was twisting and turning he managed to stagger to his feet slightly, the whole world still spinning as he looked around and then suddenly and without warning his stomach was forcing it's contents out of his mouth and covering the snow. He coughed roughly and tried to take a breathe, the fire in his ribs growing as he did and he put a hand to his side and groaned.
Thinking he was in a dream he forced his eyes open, his mind felt fuzzy, and there was an odd pulse thumping in the back against the back of his skull and he couldn't for the life of him remember why he was outside of the castle, or why the pain he was in was so great. His body sagged, and he fell to his knees, his hand gripping his chest and his head falling onto his other arm, lax of strength and energy he heard his brothers voice and he winced and looked up at his brother, his eyes cloudy and looking like glass against the light of the moon. "S-sey? . w-what? . . . h-how . . t-the . . h-hell did i g-get h-here?!" He said, coughing roughly. He groans and shuddered in pain at the movement and shook his head slightly. The last thing he remembered was being at the shrieking shak and now . . it was dark . . he was in pain . . and he was scared . . and his eyes showed all he was feeling, . . the confusion shining through as he looked at his brother.
