Hearing the snow crunch under his feet as he walked the path to the shreiking shak, Jasper was reminded of the light layer of snow that was falling, it wasnt enough to be heavy, just enough to cover the ground in a layer of the white stuff. He ran his hand through his hair as he walked toward what was supposedly the most haunted building in britain, and few of his friends ha dpointed out that it was a good thing to go to, it had scared the life out of them and they had just stodd at the fence. He walked over the hill to the shak, he could see it fully now and he grinned. It didnt look scary, yes it looked dark. but so did a lot of buildings. Though, something felt . . off.
The forrest around him was silent, not a bird, or anything moving. There wasnt even a small gust of wind whistling through the trees. It was almost like the foresst was waiting for something, something was coming, something that made animals run and hide somewhere to wait out the danger. He reckoned it must have been a storm, for the sky was overcast, and the clouds were black, which was odd, because it had been quite fine for the last few days, and now it was dreary.
He had his bag slung over his shoulder, and he made to sit down infront of a large tree and leant back against the trunk and rests his head back while pulling out the sandhwich he had brought. It was better than nothing, since he hadnt rhought to stop at hogsmeade for something. He ran his hand through his hair again and looked around, curiious again as to what was so special about this place. And it wasnt till then he heard something, something was coming through the tree's. Of course, his mind just jumped to the fact it was probably one of the students visiting the village with the school, so he made no move to get up or even raise his head. Though, he was unaware of what was really aproaching him, and then he smelt it, and liftedh is head, and frowned.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 359 The Tagged: jasper greyback The Notes n/a Fenrir loved forests, he was able to do things without the prying of eyes, no one dared follow a werewolf, no matter what form, into the forest unless they wanted to end up dead and well in Fenrir's case, lunch. He licked his lips as he raised his head. There was not a single sound to be heard and it unnerved him a bit. Usually there were birds chirping, mice scampering and the thud of other creatures as they walked and ran. Nothing but the sound of his own breathing and even that seemed to have blended into the nothingness.
Not long ago, he had an encounter with his second eldest son and oh that didn’t go down that well but he hoped Faolan actually listened to him. He was yet to see his two most prized daughters along with their other siblings. Taking a deep breath in, the crisp cool air provided him with much interesting facts. A werewolf was nearby, well at least someone with werewolf blood, a child of him. He smirked as he moved towards the scent. If only it were a full moon, he'd be able to bit the kid, but sadly it wasn’t and he had to settle for a talk with them. He caught the glimpse of his son sitting against a tree and all alone, oh how perfect. He could snatch his own son, keep him locked up and when the full moon came he could bite him, no one would see him take his son and he doubted others would care if a Greyback had disappeared. Oh how perfect this situation was. A mere boy who couldn’t use magic out of Hogwarts, this was going to be a piece of cake.
He moved more quickly as he neared the tree lines and a moment later emerging from them. He ran a hand through his hair, shifting any snow that had fallen onto him before looking at his son, his second youngest, Jasper Greyback. "What are you doing out here and so alone, Jasper?" he asked, in somewhat of a singsong voice as he took a step closer to the kid. |

The crunching of the man walking through snow, made Jaspers eyes search for the source of the noise and the smell and he found it. And his eyes narrowed slightly. Everything about this man screamed that he was dangerous. The way his eyes moved, and the way he looked at Jasper almost hungrily, like he wanted nothing more than to hurt him in someway,
Jasper could only draw the one conclusion. This man was his father, Fenrir Greyback. The man who had given him the horrible curse he had to live with. No he didnt transform, no he didnt bite people for a living, but his name was still tarnished by what ran through his veins, the blood of a villian, a hated person . . the blood of a monster.
His eyes narrowed and he grabbes his bag and slung it over his shoulder. He wasnt sticking around to listen to anything this man had to say, he had no father, his father had died to him the minute he had walked out on his mother. He frowned and looked up as the man started speaking and he scoffed. He shook his head and his eyes narrowed again, he had a lot of anger toward this man, and his jaw mucsel tensed and he shook his head.
"I was just trying to get away from the rat race . . you know . . school . . exams . . being a monster?" He said dryly, the words stinging on his tounge as the rolled off it. "And I'm not alone . . your here . . which is spoiling it . . so if you dont mind . . " He said as he took a step back towards hogsmeade.
"Have a great time here by yourself . . dad" He had never met the guy, but he knew of him. He wasnt gonna sit around here and listen, he didnt want to nor did he have to. Or so he thought . . and with that he started to head back toward the path that would lead back to the safety of the town.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 343 The Tagged: jasper greyback The Notes n/a If he were a normal person, he'd simply throw his hands up and ask in whatever greater power there was why his children kept trying to walk away from him. Had Faolan spoken to Jasper, where his own kids speaking about him in the corridors. Perhaps he should seek out Zmeyette and Valerie to find out the answer to that question. It annoyed the werewolf greatly that Jasper wanted to play smart with him. His patience had been worn thin by the talk with Faolan and Jasper wasn’t doing anything to help it. He ignored the monster part, for he the boy didn’t know anything about being a true monster yet. Oh but he soon would be, once his son got the bite, he was sure he'd come running back to him asking how to control the beast inside. All his children would, that he was positive about. If only he could create the effects of a full moon and shift now, bite his son and get it over and done with.
Fenrir took a step forward, how dare he say that. A low growl rumbled from his throat, a warning not to push him too far, but then he saw Jasper take a step towards the village. If he thought he'd get away from the one and only Fenrir then he had another thing coming. Looking around he turned his attention to a nearby tree, twitching his fingers to tear the tree from the ground. Another twitch sent it hurtling in front of Jasper hoping to at least momentarily stop him as he took long confident steps towards the boy. "You're not going anywhere until I say you can, I may have not been the dad you wanted, but I am still you father and you will do as you're told," his voice spoke with confidence and authority, his eyes watching the back of his son, "Turn around and face me boy." Had he inherited the Greyback trait of not running from anything, this was the moment Fenrir would soon find out. |

Jasper heard the growl but he wasn't scared if it, and he certainly wasn't going to head the warning behind it. He wasn't afraid of his father, and nothing his father could do would make him fear him. And he certainly wasn't going to bend to his fathers will. not matter what he said. He wasn't some mindless drone, that someone could order around.
He was his own person, Werewolf or not, it was his life and he would run it the way he wanted to. He frowned when the tree he had pointed to up rooted itself and he steeped back as it landed in the snow and made the Sky full of the flakes again. A low snarl escaped his mouth, it was a noise of frustration.
He turned back to Fenrir, the fire of hate burning in his body flared into his eyes and sent them blazing. "You are not my father! a father helps raise his son . . and doesn't terrify and rape their mother in order to have them!" He snarled at his dad. Of course he had talked to Faolan since he had seen their dad, but Faolan controlled his temper a lot better than Jasper.
Jasper was still young, he was still learning the way to do it, though right now he wasn't hating the feeling that the hate was surging through him. "I will do what you tell me too . . . never . . you have no claim over me . . and you certainly don't get to tell me what to do" He narrowed his eyes, his hand gripping around his wand, which was still in his pocket.
"I am facing you . . . and just so you know . . you don't scare me . . so don't even try to" He said as he shook his head. He said as he rolled his eyes, the fire still blazing in them. "But . . not for too much longer" He said as he turned back and grabbed the tree and vaulted over it. He wasn't running because he was scared.
He was running because this was nothing to do with him, he only shared blood with this man. there was no way he was sharing anything else, after all he had done and all he was going to do probably, Jasper didn't want any part of it. And after all . . he had always been told . . that sometimes to walk away was braver than staying and fighting.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 355 The Tagged: jasper greyback The Notes n/a How dare he, HOW DARE HE. Fenrir's blood was boiling. And here he thought Faolan was the smart mouthed one. He wanted nothing more than to shut this kid up, no matter what. He didn’t want to hurt or kill his own kin, but this kid was sure testing the waters, one wrong move and Fenrir would kill him. Yes that was how bad it was. His eyes flashed golden, something that rarely happened but he was enraged. His mouth started salivating, he could already taste his own kin's blood in his mouth and oh how much sweeter it would be to have the actual thing. He knew he had to control himself but at this moment, all humanity had gone from his mind. He could feel the wolf close to the surface wanting to break out, wanting to take down his prey even without the full moon. Could the wolf do it, he wondered. There had been times he had felt like this before but it had always been on the night of the full moon. He licked his lips, his ears hearing the words of his sound vaguely through the pounding of his blood. No one dared piss Fenrir off and lived to tell the tale.
"Don’t think you can run from me," he spoke, yet his voice sounded more raspy. If he didn’t do anything now, his son would get away. So he put one foot in front of the other in a run, chasing the younger Greyback, calling on his wandless and non verbal magic to throw things at the boy in hopes to slow him down, anything that wasn’t tied down was sent to boys way. Damn kid was a disgrace to the Greyback name, he should embrace his nature, just like Zmeyette had, maybe he should get her to change him instead, his ever so loyal daughter, the one that he was actually proud of. For an old guy, Fenrir could run, maybe it was the partial shift he was going through, but he soon caught up to the kid, launching himself at him, hoping to knock Jasper down. |

His feet pounded at the ground as he ran, his heart beating faster and faster in anger as he ducked and tried to avoid the objects that his father was throwing at him from every angle. He looked around wildly to try and find what they were and where they were coming at him from, trying to avoid them because if he knew he was hit he was done, his father would have him and by the look on his face and the sound of his voice he would literally eat him. But Jasper really didn't care, it was the fact fenrir was notorious for going after the families of the people he killed, and he had his mother to protect, after all, she had raised him.
Suddenly he was knocked sideways, the larger of the few tree stumps that had slammed into his side and he felt it shatter three of the ribs he had hit. Jasper yelped in pain and he half doubled over, his hand going to his side as he ran and he coughed, winded from the stump and in pain from being hit. And this is was why he hated his father, he was attacking Jasper for having a mind of his own and for refusing to be treated like a slave, like he head said. This man really did have no claim over him.
He was thinking that he was already in trouble, and all of a sudden he felt a heavy weight on his back, and his legs bucked underneath him and he felt the weight of his father press him hard against the ground and he grunted in pain and in frustration. He struggled, kicking back his feet and throwing his elbows back to try and get the man off him, it was against his instinct to have something behind him, something to close to the vulnerable part of him. A snarl ripped up his chest and he managed to turn slightly, and he kept struggling and trying to scramble up and away from him, the fire in his side growing as he did and he coughed again, and before he knew it he could taste scarlet in his mouth. Dan broken ribs, the only downside of them.
He shook his head. "Get off me!" He snarled, his eyes darkening as he felt the wolf within him rise. and his eyes took on a darker tones, something that only happened when he was about to lose it. The only problem was, Fenrir had about a hundred pounds and about seven inches on him. it was alittle hard to get away when you were smaller, and hurt. "W-What do you want from me!?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 369 The Tagged: jasper greyback The Notes n/a Contact, yes, he thought as he pushed his weight onto the boy, not caring if he hurt him or if he was already hurt. It should teach him never to run from him. Years ago he had a couple of his children run and one even escaped from him. But not this time, no one was going to evade Fenrir Greyback again. His hands landed in the snow beside his son's head, his weight trying to keep the young boy from escaping. He grunted as he copped an elbow to his ribs, but it wasn’t enough to shake him. Fenrir had had much worse injuries, a little elbow didn’t faze him. He heard the growl from his son, even felt the vibration from him and in response Fenrir growled right back, loud and deep from his throat. He eased up a little enough for his son to turn a bit but not to escape. He wouldn’t release him until the both of them had calmed down.
Calm down, ha yea right, he thought as Jasper snarled at him. When was the boy going to learn not to mess with him, when was he going to learn that daddy dearest was not going to do as he demanded. He should be doing the demanded and his own children should be listening. "If you value your life, you will shut up and stop struggling," he hissed in the boy's ear, his breathing heavy. It had been too long since he had run like that on 2 legs, he was more used to running on four.
Taking a few calming deep breaths, his golden eyes glanced down at his son, a silent challenge for him to start again. What did he want from him, oh many things, his mind thought. "To talk," was his reply, it was the first thing that came out of his mouth and he hoped the talk would go much more smoothly. "If you try and run again I will tie you up," he spoke after a moment, "I’m going to get off, remember run and you'll be tied up, wouldn’t want any more injuries now would we?" he asked, easing his weight of his son a little. |

The young greyback's breathing slowed as he tried to calm down a little, this wasn't going to get anywhere if they were both so mad they wanted to attack the other. His eyes still flashing with anger he eyed his father and narrowed his eyes again. "and if you want me to stop struggling . . stop telling me what to do" He said as he made to try and pull away from him once more but the pain in his side stopped him from trying it again, and he managed to force his arm over his chest to stop his father's weight pressing onto the injured bones.
"You want to talk . . I'll listen . . but just so you know . . . don't expect me to take heed to it . . " He said as he turned his head to cough. He felt the snow from underneath them seeping through his clothes, turning into water as it hit his warm skin and he shivered. This really wasn't the place to be having any conversation, and he struggled slightly again, wanting to get out of the snow and away from his father, it wasn't comfortable being so close to anyone, it was the wolf in him.
"I wont run . . I've already proved I'm faster than you . . you just cheat and use heavy things" He said, his voice slightly haggard from the running and the injury he had sustained. He shook his head and resigned. He couldn't get out from under him, and he wouldn't be able to out run him again and there was no way in hell he'd be able to use magic to get away from him either, he just lacked the experience of this man and he really didn't want to Die, at least not today.
His eyes narrowed slightly and a snarl came out of his mouth again as his father spoke and he shook his head. "Like I said . . tell me what to do . . and I'll do the opposite . . or haven't you learned that in the last five minutes . . better start paying attention dad . . " He said as he felt the weight of his father lift of him slightly and he couldn't help feel relieved that he was off him slightly, and Jasper made to try and get up again, his breath coming in short breaths now from having him on top of him for so long.
"You really don't expect me to believe you care right? . . after all . . you gave me these injuries . . shouldn't i have the chance to evoke revenge? . . you know . . true greyback style" He said, though he wasn't really serious, he was angry at this man, and he would hurt him to get away, but he couldn't do the revenge thing, it would make him too much like his father. It was hard to breathe with broken ribs edgewise, but having a two hundred or more pound man crush you into the ground really didn't help the matter. He just managed to worm his way out before his father could grab him.
He grabbed a tree branch and haul himself to his feet and he turned quickly so he was facing the man. His free hand going to hold his side while he leaned back against the tree and waited for his father to start talking. "Well . . talk . . I really don't have all day . . and if I'm not back in an hour people are gonna notice" He said, the corner of his mouth turning up into a smirk. He brought his hand to a mouth to wipe the blood that was pooling in the corner of his mouth and looked at fenrir.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 397 The Tagged: jasper greyback The Notes n/a He snarled at Jasper, no one dared give him orders, at least not anymore. The only reason why he put up with Voldemort's orders was because he felt he could bite and change more people doing so. But that was behind him and now the werewolf didn’t like taking orders, especially from his own flesh and blood. Obviously the kid didn’t value his life much otherwise he would have heeded his words and shut up. This kid needed to be taught a lesson. The idea of snatching him and locking him up was all the more tempting. Perhaps he could use the same tactic he had used on Faolan, the touchy topic about hurting their mothers.
He curled his hand in the snow, the cold biting into his skin as he drew back his fist before punching it back into the snow, inches from Jasper's head. Why couldn’t the damn boy just shut up and listen. Jasper continued talking but Fenrir tuned out, who cared what a stupid fifteen year old boy had to say, he was the father, the kid should listen to him, at least should act civilly towards him. "And you should know by now son that not listening to me get you injured," he sat back on his legs, "Seems like we've both learned something." He stood, brushing the snow from his tall figure. His son wouldn’t run off, not when he was injured. All he had to do was hit that spot again and the kid would fall down like a sack of potatoes.
Gave him the injuries, oh he had to be kidding right. He was the one that had forced the injuries upon himself. If he had only listened to him, nothing would be sore or broken. Ah well too bad he thought. "Call it tough love," he shrugged, "You forced the injuries upon yourself by running from me, did you really think you could get away that easily. Next time I won’t waste my time with you, I’ll go straight to your mother instead," the sick twisted smirk was back on his face again.
Only an hour, well it seemed like he couldn’t beat around the bush, might as well get straight to the point. "I want you to receive the bite," he was blunt about the topic but an hour and no firewhiskey didn’t leave him much options. |

"Tough Love? . . you call bombarding someone with tree's and god knows what else tough love? . . no wonder my mother hates you" He said and shook his head. He sighed and shook his head again, running his hand through his hair. He made to sit down in the snow and he looked at Fenrir. Okay, so this wasnt as horrible as he thought. He thought that the next time he had seen his father he would have already tried to kill him. From what his mother had told him, he was amonster, and yeah while he had 'hurt' him. Jasper was also a little confused as to why he was still alive.
Jasper laiughed slightly and shook his head, he coughed and smiled. "Go after my mother . . I would even dare you . . she's vowed to kill you the next time she see's you . . . and i would love to see her do it" He said with a grin. If Fenrir though threating his mother would get him to bend to his will he had another thing coming. She could take care of herself, Jasper knew that for a fact. He had seen her do magic against some people who had snuck into their house once. Fenrir would have no chance. "So now that threats gone . . what are you going to use?"
He said as he coughed again, his body settled against the tree. He was following his promise and he wasnt running, and he wasnt arguing with his father right now. His eyes widened and he couldnt believe what his father had just said. "You . . You want me to be like you!?" He said and he shook his head again. "Never! . . I'm enough like you already . . the full moon is bad enough without transofmring thanks!" He said as he made to stand up again.
He had had enough now. "Is that all you wanted to say? . . cause if your done . . I have to go" He said with a shake of his head. If his father turned him, it wouldnt go down to well for Fenrir, he would be the first person Jasper went after if he did, and he didnt care if the older werewolf did kill him then. He would rather be dead than a monster.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 604 The Tagged: jasper greyback The Notes n/a Fenrir shrugged as if what Jasper had said was well nothing. "Not my fault you wanted to run from me," he replied casually, the wolf receded a bit, though still hovering close to the surface if Fenrir had need of him. That was just one of the reasons why he loved his wolf; it always knew when to rear its furry head and when to wait patiently. It wasn’t news to him to know Jasper's mother hated him; he felt the same way about her. Out of all of his children’s mothers, Jasper's was the one he hated the most. So why had he gotten her pregnant in the first place, well cause she was feisty.
The next words that came out of Jasper's mouth made him laugh. His mother threatened to kill him, the great Fenrir Greyback, the notorious werewolf and one of Voldemort's loyal followers. Oh he'd like to see that one. He would win, no matter how old he was, he wouldn’t succumb to a pathetic ordinary woman like her. "She'd be dead before she has time to reach for her wand," he couldn’t help the snarl that came with the words. Now that all threats were gone, ha as if. "I got to your pathetic mother once, and I can do it again. And you know what, she liked it, she liked being submissive and powerless to me. She liked it rough as she screamed like a pathetic little girl, begging for more. She liked the pain, tearing of flesh and I can easily make her feel that way again," he snickered. Oh yes even though he hated her, it wouldn’t stop him from taking her again, so by all means he was looking forward to her 'attempt' at killing him. Even if she hadn’t liked it, well she'd be forced to this time round. "So by all means boy, invite her here, she'll soon find herself squirming underneath me again," he added, challenging his own son, "I DARE you."
He laughed harder, at least the kid acknowledged that he was like him, but then that was all the more reason to receive the bite, oh what fun he could have with this son, only if. "Are you saying you'd rather put up with the constant pain all night of the full moons, the separation from everyone. Do you really want to live a pathetic powerless half life, you were born to be a werewolf, you cannot deny your destiny of becoming one, sooner or later you will get the bite, even if I have to force your submission and do it myself even against your wishes." He couldn’t help but shake his head slowly at the boy.
What, he was wanting to leave, no Fenrir thought as his gaze settled on Jasper. "You will never truly be happy with your life. You know nothing of being a full werewolf, you have no idea of the freedom it gives you, the faster rate of healing," he nodded to the side that Jasper was holding, "If you were a full werewolf, that injury wouldn't have been as bad as it is. The pain on the full moon only lasts for a few minutes compared to the whole night and you wish to shoot down the chance to be better, to be stronger. Not every werewolf is exactly like me, I’ll be the first to admit that, but they still have the freedom and power you don’t have. You were born to be a werewolf, son; its time you stood up and faced it rather than running away and hiding like a coward." |

Jasper raised an eyebrow as Fenrir spoke about his mother. He didn't really believe it. His mother had told him everything. He knew exactly what this man had done to her so his eyes just rolled as Fenrir did his little rant and he rolled his head and fixed his eyes on Fenrir. "Well your getting kinda of cocky for someone you age" He said with a shake his head. "She's coming here for the tournament . . like I said . . go after her. One thing my mother taught me . . don't form strong emotional attachments, fight for what you believe in, and don't pay attention if someone threatens you" He said and he meant it. His mother had said that, and while he loved her, she was his mother after all, she knew she was right. Everyone died, and people turned their backs on you, so it was easier just to not pay attention and not let it bother you.
"Glad you find what I say entertaining" He said dryly, his eyes narrowing again and he shook his head. He had no idea why his father was laughing, but it wouldn't matter, he would be walking away soon, and getting as far away from this guy as he could. "I was born to be what I choose . . not what anyone else tells me to be" He said, his eyes darkening and his face frowning. Why was he still insisting on telling Jasper what was best for him, he had no idea, he didn't know his son, and Jasper had no intention of knowing him, well not willingly anyway.
"I never said I wasn't happy with my life . . and I'm a whole hell of a lot happier now than if I was a full Werewolf . . at least right now . . I have the remote possibility of getting a half decent job!" He said and shook his head. His attention was brought to the throbbing pain in his side, and he frowned, the pain growing in his side as his breathing quickened slightly and he shook his head. "It wouldn't have been hurt if you'd have just stayed away from me" He said with a frown. "Not every werewolf is like you? . . yeah . . i can see it now . . I'm not going to have any chance of doing what I want if I get bitten! I know what you did to seyton . . and I am not going to let you treat me like a a pawn in a game"
Shaking his head he ran his hand down the bag strap to make sure it was straight and he shook his head. "I've already said no . . so . . goodbye father" He said as he made to keep walking away. It hadn't worked so well last time but he didn't care. He wasn't listening before and he wasn't going to listen now. He coughed and his hand still rested on his injured side as he walked, the pain in his side caused him to limp slightly, he frowned and shook his head, hoping he was gong to give up and leave him alone now, he wouldn't be able to get away if he decided to try and drag him, which Jasper hoped he wouldn't.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 515 The Tagged: jasper greyback The Notes n/a The wolf within roared with fury. He could feel the wolf clawing, wanting out, wanting to taste blood, to feel the rush of a kill. Even on his son, he would inure, maim and if pushed too far he was sure he'd be able to kill. He could always have another kid, or two. The only valuable children of his were the ones that followed him, that listened to him and had no qualms about getting the bite. But children like Jasper and Seyton, two bloody Gryffindors, well they were disposable.
He stood there and listened as Jasper talked about his mother, yea like he cared about what she thought; really she was just some wench that opened her legs for him. There were no attachments towards her, apart from Jasper and well she could rot in hell for all he cared. She had done her job, and now just her son and Seyton, she was disposable, past her used by date. It surprised him however that she was coming to the tournament, it wasn’t like her son was in it, so why would she come? What reason, what motive did she have? Maybe she had heard he was going to be there, maybe his son was friends with one of the champions? Well at least she had one thing right, fight for what you believe and damn it he believed his son ought to get the bite. So no he wasn’t giving up easily on him, and yes the kid would get it whether he liked it or not.
He missed the whole spiel Jasper had made afterwards but that didn’t matter. Fenrir had already made up his mind and in doing so had made up his son's mind, even if he didn’t know it yet. An alpha always got what he wanted, and he wanted his children to be full werewolves. Wait what did Jasper say, goodbye. Oh not so fast. "I haven’t said you could leave," he spoke finally, raising his hand and casting the full body binding charm on his son.
Walking over to the boy, he smirked. Jasper really left him with no option other than to take him with him. Ah screw what he said, he'd be thankful later. With a swift hard kick to the boy's injured ribs, he was satisfied that the spell held. "Now what you going do boy?" he asked, taunting the Gryffindor as he searched the kid, finding and taking his wand away, stashing it in his own pocket. Precautions, he thought. He didn’t want Jasper to regain any control over his arms and reach for his wand. Bending down, he curled his fingers in the boys hair, tugging hard. "See what you make me do boy, this would have been a whole lot easier if you hadn’t run, if you only said yes to the gift I want to give you," he yanked the hair again before beginning to drag the poor Gryffindor back towards the thick forest, not caring if any rocks, or hard clumps of snow grazed and injured Jasper more. |

Jasper head his father and he shook his head. "And since when do I need your permisson to leave? . . it's not like you cared before what I did?" He said not looking back. He shook his head slightly and then all of a sudden his legs locked together. Jasper frowned and tried to walk forward again as his arms snapped by his side and he couldnt move suddenly. All he could do was wheel his eyes around to try and find his father and before he knew it he was falling back into the snow with a thud. He wasnt able to move, it was freaking him out now. He had known his father was mental, he had no idea he'd do this though. At least Jasper knew he couldnt turn him right now, since it wasnt a full moon.
He could hear his father coming up beside him, and his breathing quickened and he felt his heart beat faster at the thought of what he was going to do. Suddenly, Jasper felt fenrir's foot slam into his injured ribs and the pain doubled ten-fold. He couldnt move to get away, or even hol dhis side to try and ease the pain. His eyes closed and he would have bt his lip if he could. His eyes filled with tears from the pain and he blinked them away, not wanting fenrir to see them. So this was it then, he was probably going to die today. Or at least, no one would find him for years to come and all this was running through his head. It was like his mind had become more active, to compensate for his body not moving.
He could only move his eyes to watch as his father searched for his wand and when he found it, every instinct was to attack, or get the hell out of here. He heard his father's taunting words and he managed to narrow his eyes. So he could at least move his eyes, which meant he could still glare at his father. He felt his father's fingers entwine in his hair tightly and when he yanked on his hair he cringed in his mind and his eyes closed and he was cursing in his head, his whole mind screaming curses at his father as he started to drag him through the forrest. Jasper was sure he was purposly dragging him over the stones, as he felt the sharp jagged edges rip and tear at his flesh as he was dragged over them.He was sure he was bleeding, so at least if someone noticed he was missing there waould be a trail to find.

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - Seyton was pretty sure he'd earned a day off. Just one morning and afternoon to relax, spend as he pleased, and not keep his station in the infirmary 24/7. Okay, to say that he was there so often was an exaggeration, but it did seem like he'd been spending an awful amount of time tucked away with paperwork at his desk, watching over the students from the latest day's injuries. He loved his job, sure, and he didn't want to sound bitter, but he was not the only nurse in the Hogwart's infirmary. Why did it always seem that he was there alone while he coworkers were off in the staff room relaxing, or god knows where doing god knows what? The other healers could pick up the slack for one day. As a position of authority in the infirmary this year, he should be able to arrange to have a day off. So where did Seyton decide to spend his day off? His room, perhaps? The quidditch field, reminiscing about matches he played? Maybe he'd even pay a visit to the Gryffindor Commons room? Nah. He could do those on any regular day at Hogwarts by slipping away from the hospital wing for a few minutes. What he couldn't do, though, was go to Hogsmeade for a bit. It required a lot more time than he could get on a break, so why not take advantage of all his free time today? He hadn't been to Hogsmeade since the Summer, and by the snow on the ground it was clearly long past the boiling temperature days. Dressed casually, after all, he wasn't on the job, Seyton set out from the castle down the road students travelled every month to their favourite field trip. He could remember the first time he'd been allowed to go, back in his third year. It had been such a thrill; like going to a far off country or something. By his fifth year Hogsmeade trips were no longer such a delicacy, but he'd made sure to attend at least a few per year. Sometimes he'd even sneak out of the school to the village with pals for a good time. He guessed that things remained the same for students these days. They didn't let rules and restrictions stop them from having fun when they wanted to. The air and everything around Seyton was completely silent. He could really hear nothing but the crunch of his shoes against the snow and his own breathing in the quiet pre-winter air. It was definitely eerie, but also incredibly peaceful. It was nice to have silence and time to hear your own thoughts against the usual hecticness of a schoolday, in Seyton's opinion. That peacefulness was broken, however, as he neared the shrieking shack. Sound carried a far way in the crisp cold air. Normally he might not pay much attention around the shrieking shack... sounds could be attributed to the pure oldness of the house itself, or students around it who goofed off. But today something was different... The painful yelp that caught his attention fell into silence quickly, but it made Seyton pause to listen harder. He could hear muted voices, far too faint to make out any words and could just barely guess tones of the conversation's participants. The conversation continued for a little while, with Seyton cautiously and slowly making his way towards them. It was likely just two students sneaking away from the school for a bit of alone time, but something didn't seem right. Did he realize that one of the voices was very familiar to him, or that the other's voice was too deep to be that of a student? Whatever the reason, he continued his quiet pace until the voices ended entirely and the world was left in silence again. Somehow that unnerved Seyton more. The pitch silence of everything... and then he heard it, a scraping sound, like something was dragging within the trees a few metres away from where he now stood. Even before he saw the blood on the ground Seyton drew his wand out from his pocket, gripping it tightly in his hand as he quickened his pace into the trees, making no attempt to hide his presence now. Soon enough he could see them; a man dragging a boy by the hair. His eyes were instantly drawn to the boy; Jasper Greyback, his little brother. That alone was enough to get Seyton's blood boiling, even without seeing the man clearly enough to recognize him. No one messed with his little siblings and got away with it. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" he hissed, wand already pointing at the man. Yes, maybe as a nurse he should not be swearing in front of a student or his little sibling, but his mouth was clearly the last of Jasper's worries at the moment. Seyton was no sixth year. If this guy knew what was good for him, he'd leave the kid alone. (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 511 The Tagged: jasper greyback and seyton greyback The Notes n/a What was that? He asked himself, as the sheer silence of the woods, no sound disturbing it, especially not the smart mouthed kid he was dragging, it was heaven, it didn’t have to put up with Jasper talking or trying to run away from him, oh how delightful it was. If he were dragging a poor helpless girl, he more than likely would have been cackling to himself. But he wasn’t, instead he was dragging his son, how strange would that appear to others. But he saw that he had a right to do whatever he wanted, after all Jasper was his child. He paused and looked at the kid, maybe it would have been better to throw him over his shoulder...nah, he thought, let the kid suffer. It was his own fault he wanted to run, wanted to be a smart mouth at him. Didn’t Jasper know, Fenrir always got what he wanted, always. Well ninety nine point nine percent of the time. The only thing he was ever denied was the dark mark, but he had soon gotten over than when Voldemort made him head snatcher, had used him because of his strength and had personally considered the werewolf to be a part of his very loyal death eaters and turn he was allowed to have his way with any woman he wanted.
He continued dragging the kid, positive that no one was coming for him, that no one cared enough for the Gryffindor to give a damn when a faint scent came his way. He ignored it, assuming it was a old scent, left in the forest a few days ago. He continued, pulling Jasper's hair harder as he done so and that's when the scent seemed to be getting stronger. Well now, he thought, perhaps there was someone else in the forest. He took a deep breath and paused. No it couldn’t be, could it? He hadn’t heard from his eldest son for years, there was no way he'd be here right, but then Valerie and Zmeyette had told him Seyton was at the school, stupid bloody idiot, he thought. And it only confirmed that he was when he heard the footsteps followed by his voice. Ah so Seyton was here, he smirked. What did he think he was doing? Simple, taking what was his. "I am taking what is mine, boy," he spoke, turning and raising his head to look at Seyton with his wolf eyes. "Leave now otherwise you'll be sent back to that hospital in a million pieces," he spoke, not letting go of Jasper, instead pulling the boy up in front of him, like a shield. "Do you want him to die?" he asked, wishing that his teeth could shift now so that he could bite Jasper and get it over and done with. But they didn’t. Reaching up he curled a hand around Jasper's throat, his nails digging into the flesh, not caring whether or not he broke the skin. If Seyton wanted a fight, well then his little brother would die. |

Jasper keep trying to move his limbs, his efforts in vain as the body-bind curse ravaged his body and made movement impossible. Though, he could still feel the pain, the pain of the stones and sticks and the cold of the snow seeping through his clothes as he was dragged. And then he heard a voice and his eyes wheeled around to try and find the source of the voice. He knew the voice well, it was his older brothers, voice. He felt a flicker of him curse through his head, for a little while. He had for a second hoped that fen would drop him and run, not wanting to cause a scene, since if this got out he would probably have the aurors on his tail, after all, he was still being hunted wasn't he?
But the opposite happened. He was suddenly being pulled up, as his father made to use his flesh as a human shield and he cursed again in his head, his eyes trying to look at fenrir. He heard the words to two were passing but he could say anything back, though his blood was boiling too. He actually wanted to yell at his brother to run, Jasper wasn't worth getting hurt for, and he didn't want to see Seyton hurt either. If only had had been able to have his wand, he'd cast the counter spell and he'd be able to help Seyton fight him. His eyes widened slightly as he felt Fenrir's hand clasp around his throat and his eyes moved back to look at Seyton, a flicker of fear behind them as he did.
He felt his father's fingers and nail's dig into his neck and it halted his breathing slightly, the force on his windpipe strong enough to cut the supply of air to his lungs slightly. He blinks his eyes and opened them to look at Seyton again, sure that fenrir was going to kill him today, even if Sey was there. He just wanted it to be quick, and hopefully not too painful, though, from what he'd heard about his father, he knew it wouldn't happened. He was actually a little surprised his father hadn't taken a chunk out of him already just for good measure.

the secret side of me, i never let you see__ i keep it caged but i can't control it- - Hearing his voice, the man turned, and Seyton's composure definitely faltered. He should have realized... no unnattached man would go through the trouble of trying to pretty much assault and kidnap a student so close to Hogwart's grounds. Besides, couldn't most trouble in a Greyback's life be traced back to their 'happy' parentage? At least, that was the way Seyton had felt about the man for the last seven years. The scene before him needed no explanation. His little brother was in trouble, and though memories of his seventh Summer couldn't help but flash through the nurse's mind and instil a bit of terror in his brain, there was no way he was leaving Jasper defenceless at the hand of this monster. "Jasper is not yours through anything more but parentage, and in today's day and age that means little." Seyton's voice was a low growl, burning with hatred and fury. "He doesn't belong to you any more than I do." And Seyton had made it clear eight years ago that he did not belong to his father. Mind you, neither of the two meetings that Summer had gone well for the younger man, but he was older now... stronger... smarter. This unexpected meeting was going to go a hell of a lot differently than their last had. "Is this why you pick on your children young, Fenrir? They're easy to intimidate with feeble threats? They don't fight back? It's not a fair fight?" He hoped that his words didn't offend Jasper in any way. One of the traits of Gryffindor was, after all, bravery. He highly doubted that Jasper had been intimidated by anything Fenrir had said, thereby leading to this scenario. More likely the kid had been defiant, which was a stupid mood, but then again Seyton was a hypocrite, wasn't he? He wasn't going to be a coward who turned and ran at the slightest littlest little threat, and he wouldn't have expected his little brother to be one, either. But he saw the flash of fear in the sixth year's eyes, and it only strengthened his determination to stick around and help him out. Maybe he could somehow get the attention off of Jasper? “Be reasonable, Fenrir.” He took another step forward, not lowering his wand but not making any move of magic. He wasn’t a fool. While Seyton was an accomplished wizard, the werewolf before him, his father, had decades more of experience. “I can have Kingsley and ten other teachers down here in thirty seconds. You’d be in Azkaban by the end of the day, and Jasper will be safe in his bed. Let him go and maybe you can get out of Hogsmeade without being escorted by dementors. You'll want to avoid a fight with anything more than a teenage boy, so let him go and there won't be trouble. I know you're a coward; use it to your advantage.” Hatred for the other man dripped from every syllable that slipped by his tongue. Fenrir Greyback was no father. A father was a being who cared for their children; put their best interests before any of his own and nurtured them as they grew. A father was not a man who disappeared on his children, inflicted unimaginable terror upon their mothers and used each child for his own purposes, or tried to. Fenrir Greyback gave life to his children, but it was a cursed life, and he’d known it would be so for them from the beginning. Once Seyton had been elated that his dad had been released from Azkaban, but now he just recognized the event for what it had been. Fenrir was a curse upon the surface of the earth, and the sooner he was removed from it the better. (Outfit) TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] You're gonna catch a cold From the ice inside your soul The Words: 555 The Tagged: jasper greyback and seyton greyback The Notes n/a Not his, not his, well he'd be damned. Of course Jasper was his just like all of his children were his. He was the one that gave life to them, well ok their mothers were the ones doing to child birthing, but it took two to tango so the saying went, and as easy as he had given life to them, he could just as well take it. So why hadn’t he taken Seyton's life years ago, maybe he hoped his son saw the error in his ways and came back to him. Well he certainly came back, but not how he had expected. Instead he got himself injured and from then on, that was it between them. Why couldn’t they all behave like his Slytherin children, why did they have to defy him when they knew that they'd end up hurt? If only his children done as they were told with no smart mouthing, they would never get hurt. Well if they wanted to be bloody idiots, then so be it. "You have no say in this, turn around, tuck your tail between your legs and leave," he issued the order again, this time putting a silent challenge in his voice.
But it seemed as if Seyton wasn’t going anywhere, instead he continued talking about picking on his children. He knew he had nothing to explain to Seyton, he decided to entertain his eldest anyways. "Pick on my children; you force me to do it. If you hadn’t broken one of my most important rules, I would have had no need to attack you or her, instead you defy me by bringing home a mudblood, and you had the audacity to try and trick me," he spat out, that mudblood Seyton had was only good enough for two things and one of those was not this so called love that Seyton had claimed with her. No she was good to literally eat or to bear a child. "And Jasper, he wanted to defy me as well. So don’t whine to me about fair fights, you defy me, you pay the consequences."
Be reasonable, so the damn outcast wanted to make him see reason. Oh he already saw reason and he was taking his son, Seyton was a bad influence on him, Jasper needed time away from his eldest, time spent with him where he could teach the boy everything there was to know about being a werewolf. And then Seyton said that he could have the current headmaster and professors there. He couldn’t help it, Fenrir laughed, really laughed. Did Seyton think that threatening him was Azkaban would work? "I've been there boy and I got out, Azkaban doesn’t scare me," he replied only after he managed to contain his laughter. He would eat the Dementors for breakfast lunch and dinner if he had to, there was nothing stopping him from achieving his goals, absolutely nothing. "You're right thought, Jasper will be safe in bed, after he gets the gift of the bite and not before," he added noticing Seyton had taken a step closer to then. His hand around Jasper's throat tightened. "One more step close and you can say goodbye to little Jasper here. Now drop your wand, kick it away," he spoke calmly, his eyes holding an evil spark in them. |
