BIOGRAPHY: Draco was born into a wealthy pureblood family and was the only child of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. His father was a Death Eater and was brought up to be very proud of his pure-blood status and to look down upon Muggleborns. Being brought up in a wealthy family his parents tended to spoil him.

First Year
Draco had first met Harry Potter at Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions and spoke to him without even knowing who he was. He had made a rather intolerant speech on Muggleborns and Hagrid (since he was half giant). Afterwards on the Hogwarts Express he had offered his friendship to Harry after making a smart remark towards Ronald Weasley. After Harry declined him he had grown a very quick rivalry with Harry.

During the sorting Draco had quickly been sorted into the Slytherin house and had made friends with Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, which he mainly used as lackeys. He had once challenged Harry to a duel, however this was to get him in trouble for being out of bed after hours.

At one point Draco found out about Harry and Ron trying to smuggle out Hagrid’s pet dragon Norbert. He had informed Professor McGonagall about it, however he ended up in detention as well because of being out past curfew. For his detention he had gone with Hagrid, Neville, Ron and Harry into the Forbidden Forest to find a wounded Unicorn, which he felt to be “servents work”.

Second Year
Draco had been jealous of Harry getting on the Gryffindor Quidditch team in their first year and so he had his father buy his way onto the Slytherin Quidditch team in his second year by buying the whole team the new Nimbus Two Thousand One brooms. Hermione had even mentioned that he had bought his way onto the team rather than earned it like the Gryffindor team members. For that Draco had called Hermione a Mudblood and Ron tried to hex him and laughed when it backfired and caused Ron to start throwing up slugs.

However, it was shown that during the Gryffindor vs. Slytherin Match that he had indeed bought his way onto the team due to the fact that Harry had capture the snitch that was flying right next to his ear. The team Captain, Marcus Fling, and reprimanded him for his stupidity.

During the Dueling Club Draco was partnered up with Harry and Snape had him conjure a snake. Everyone was in shock when they saw that Harry could speak Parseltounge and after that Draco had became jealous of Harry because everyone though he was the Slytherin Heir.

It wasn’t much later that Ron and Harry had talked to Draco disguised as Crabbe and Goyle and asked him about the Slytherin heir. There he had expressed that he didn’t know who it was, but his father said to let the person go about and do the task. He also showed that he was jealous that everyone though Harry was the Slytherin heir. He had also said it had been fifty years since the last time it was opened. It was found out later on that it was his father that had slipped Tom Riddle’s Diary into Ginny’s Cauldron.

Third Year
In his third year he had made fun of Harry for feinting on the Hogwarts Train because of the dementors. It was one of the main things Draco made fun of him all year round, and had even dressed up as a dementor with Crabbe and Goyle at one of the Quidditch Matches to freak him out. Unfortunately it failed as Harry had sent a patronus at them.

Like all of the third years, Draco had taken extra classes as well. One of them being Care of Magical Creatures. However he was disappointed that Hagrid was teaching the class. He tried to get Hagrid sacked by making one of the hippogriffs at the first lesson of the year attack him. Draco tried to milk his “hurt arm” as long as possible and had even got their match against Gryffindor postpones because of it.

Fourth Year
Before his fourth year Draco attended the Quidditch World Cup with his parents from the Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge’s Luxury box. After the match was over and later that night a bunch of Death Eaters had begun to terrorize the campers. Draco had made fun of Hermione saying that they will do the same to her because she is a Muggle-born.

The Triwizard Tournament was hosted at Hogwarts this year and Harry had gotten chose as one of the Champions, which Draco disliked very much. He made fun of Harry by handing out badges that supported Cedric Diggory and when pushed on said “Potter Stinks”. He taunted Harry quite a bit throughout the year and had even given information to Rita Skeeter, the slanderous Daily Prophet editor.

At one point he had tried to hex Harry early in the year, but Alastor Moody (who was Barty Crouch Jr. in disguise) had transfigured Draco into a ferret and bounced him around the room as punishment. Even though Professor McGonagall had stopped it he had become quite embarrassed from it. He would then flinch whenever someone said that Professor Moody was behind him.

At Christmas Draco had attended the Yule Ball with Pansy Parkinson.

At the end of the year on the Hogwarts Express back home, Draco had mocked Harry for going against voldemort, however he ended up getting hit by several curses from Harry, Hermione, Ron , Fred and George.

Fifth Year
In his fifth year him as well as Pansy Parkinson, became the Slytherin Prefects. He had mocked Harry Potter for not becoming one as well as the Gryffindor Prefects were Ron and Hermione. He had also wrote the lyrics to the demeaning song “Weasley is Our King” which him and the rest of the Slytherins used to mock Ron on being the Gryffindor Keeper. With this song and insulting Ron’s parents as well as Harry’s mother he had gotten into a brawl with Harry, George and Fred. Which caused Fred, Harry and George to be banned from the Gryffindor Quidditch tem.

Later on he joined Dolores Umbridge’s Inquistorial Squad and it was shown he very much enjoyed the power it gave him over the other students. He had been the one to catch Harry Running out of the last meeting of Dumbledore’s Army. He had also caught Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Neville and Luna as they tried to contact Sirius through Dolores’s Fireplace. Once Harry and Hermione has left with Umbridge in search of a “secret weapon” Draco and other members of the IS had been stunned by the remaining members of the D.A.

When it was found that Harry had exposed his father in returning to the Death Eaters, Draco blamed Harry for it. And he tried to attack Harry, but Harry and other DA members had attacked him, Crabbe and Goyle with hexes making them look like slugs when they left.

Sixth Year
Before the summer of his sixth year Draco was made a Death Eater to replace his Incarcerated father. He had bragged to fellow Slytherins that he had been given a special mission while they were aboard the Hogwarts Express. He had realized that Harry had been eavesdropping and placed the full body bind on him while he laid under his invisibility cloak.

Throughout the year Draco worked on his task and started to feel that he mail fail at killing Albus Dumbledore. He had been in the Room of Requirement working on the broken vanishing cabinet to get other Death Eaters in since it was linked with a vanishing cabinet that was at Borgin and Burkes.

There were a couple of times throughout the year that Draco thought that he wouldn’t be able to fix the cabinet. One time he had tried getting Katie Bell to deliver a cursed necklace to Dumbledore and another time he had poisoned a drink in hopes it would be given to Dumbledore as well. Both attempts had failed though.

The stress was becoming almost too much and was confessing to Moaning Myrtle all of his fears when Harry had walked in on him. He was about to cast the Cruciatus Curse on Harry, but Harry had hit him with Sectumsempra before he could even finish. Professor Snape had ended up assisting Draco with his injuries.

Eventually Draco had managed to fix the vanishing cabinet and used it to let the Death Eaters into the school, and his was surprised to see Fenrir Greyback, someone he did not even like. They headed up the Astronomy tower and Draco was able to corner a weak Dumblefore. He disarmed Dumbledore and at the same time placed a freezing charm on Harry without knowing it. However, when he had tried to kill Dumbledore, he couldn’t as Dumbledore had said he would protect him and his family, and because Draco couldn’t Snape had stepped in and killed Dumbledore since he had mad an unbreakable vow with Narcissa to step in if Draco couldn’t finish the task.

During his preparation for this difficult task Draco had learned many hard things, such as blocking jinxes non-verbally, he learned Occlumency through training with his aunt Bellatrix Lestrange and he was able to perform the very difficult Protean Charm.

However throughout the year he also changed quite a bit. He seemed to lose interest in Quidditch and gave his Seeker position to Harper; he began to neglect his homework more and his prefect duties. He also had became more distant with Crabbe and Goyle and spent less time mocking Harry and his friends more than usual.

Seventh Year
Before his seventh year at one of the Death Eater meetings at the Malfoy Manor Draco had witnessed Charity Burbage’s death as she was the Muggle Studies professor at Hogwarts. It was noticed that through Draco’s failure the Malfoys had lost quite a bit of respect among the Death Eaters.

During the Easter Holidays Draco had to confirm the identities of Harry, Ron and Hermione and he was reluctant in doing so. Later on he had brought the Goblin, Griphook, up to confirm if what Hermione really had was the Gryffindor Sword. In Harry and company’s escape he had his face cut by a fallen chandelier and his wand taken by Harry.

Later on during the Battle of Hogwarts, Draco along with Crabbe and Goyle had chosen to remain at the school as their fellow Slytherins were evacutated in order to bring Harry Potter to Voldemort. However it seemed that Crabbe and Goyle didn’t listen to him as much as they used to because of his task that he failed. They had waited at the Room of Requirement for the trio and had surprised them when they had jumped out at them. Crabbe had begun to cast the killing curse as well as Fiendfyre which set the room ablaze. Draco had tried to save Crabbe and Goyle. He managed to save Goyle and flew out on a broom with Harry, however Crabbe was killed, leaving Draco upset.

After Voldemorts defeat Draco and his parents sat in the Great Hall looking uncertain of their place during the victory celebrations.

After Hogwarts
Draco and his family avoided imprisonment in Azkaban due to their last-minute switch in allegiance. Draco had then married Astoria Greengrass later on and together they had a son, Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. Although Draco had still disliked Muggles and Muggleborns he had realized it was wrong to try and get rid of them. He worked hard and eventually became the Minister of Magic. He loves his wife and son very much, and feels that there is a bit of a rocky relationship with his wife. He tries to keep his son happy and tends to spoil him as his own father did with him.

As the Minister he works hard to keep the Wizarding community together and that everyone has equal rights. He has even let some rights for several different creatures, such as house elves, get passed so far in his position as the Minister of magic.

Now he's working hard at making sure that this next tournament at Hogwarts goes smoothly.
