PERSONAL STYLE: She’s very fashionable, meaning that anything you see in muggle fashion magazines she will be wearing. She wears a lot of heels, just because she likes feeling somewhat tall even though she is of an average heights. She has no issue wearing jeans, but you will mostly see her wearing tights, skirts, and dresses but she has no issue with pants. She chooses a very wide color palette, and she isn’t afraid to wear any color. She loves accessories, though its mostly necklaces which she avoids wearing when she’s in potions just because she doesn’t want to lose them. Overall she’s kind of a fashionista, and will basically want to be your best friend if you dress cute.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Katherine is of a pretty average height, after all both of her parents stand at less than six feet in height so she never expected to be an overly tall young lady. She has a sort of a round face, which was because she was a bit chubby when she was little. But as she grew, she lost all of her baby fat but she kept the roundish face. She is pretty slender, though she does have her curves but she isn’t overly curvy either. Her eyes are a crystal blue, and they appear to be very wide, giving off a very innocent look from Katherine. She has lips that aren’t thin but they aren’t really full either. Her hair is blond, and it’s wavy though she does occasionally straighten it. When she smiles you can see two dimples on her cheeks, and given that she smiles a lot, well you’ll most likely see them a lot as well. She wears a fair amount of makeup, but she doesn’t go overboard only applying the necessary amounts.

BIOGRAPHY: Katherine was born one foggy February morning, to a couple who couldn’t be more in love. Her mother and father had met at Oxford, and had been happily married for three years, and they were excited to welcome their first child into the world. He was an engineer and she was a fashion designer, and they were both really excited to welcome their baby girl into their lives. Katherine lived a pretty good life, both her parents made enough money to allow them to live a very comfortable, somewhat luxurious lifestyle. Katherine never had a nanny, just because Melissa didn’t want anyone to raise her daughter other than herself. So she worked from home, and it was through her mother that Kat’s love of fashion came to be. She was always a strange child, though she never threw any tantrums, there was one specific moment that scared her parents. When she was about five years old, her mother was working on a particular outfit that took up most of her time. Katherine was used to getting a lot of attention from her mom, so when she asked for her favorite toy, and got no response she got upset. But all of a sudden, the cabinet where her toy was stored burst open, and out floated the doll that she played with on a daily basis. Katherine is sure that the fact that the doll was floating towards her was what scared her parents the most.

There were a few other incidents similar to that one, but usually they occurred when Katherine was alone. She learned to not talk about these incidents, just because her parents got a scared look on their faces when the doll incident was mentioned. She went to regular school with all the other kids in London, and luckily for her any magical incidents were usually when she was alone. Even though she was a very friendly person, she tended to spend hours and hours alone just because it was what she was used to. Being an only child, she knew how to keep herself entertained, and it was during the times when she was particularly bored that her magic came to light. By the time she was nearing her eleventh birthday, she had gotten used to the idea that she had a special gift that she could tell no one about. The day after her eleventh birthday a man came to her door, she was a bit surprised especially when he asked to speak to her parents. That was how she found out she was actually a witch, and that the incidents she had never told her parents about were actually very common. They were told about Hogwarts, and how Katherine would now have to go to the magic school so she could learn to control her magic and so she could become a great witch. Her parents were a bit reluctant, at the idea of sending their daughter away but they were told that she would be in good hands. By August of that same year, they were visiting Diagon Alley (after exchanging muggle money for wizarding money) they bought all of Katherine’s supplies and she was all set to go.

Katherine can very distinctly remember her first visit to Platform 9 ¾ and she was very excited, she begged her parents to take her early and she was one of the first ones on the train. She would have put on her robes immediately but she was too excited to think straight half of the time. Her initial personality and the fact that she was sorted into HUffelpuff made it easy for Katherine to make friends, but she had one friend in particular that was just her best friend. She did face quite a bit of prejudices but she was too happy to have the opportunity to practice magic to really care.

She spent a lot of time studying, she wanted to be the best witch she could be. Once she got old enough, she started to study about wandless magic, something that had always caught her interest. After all when you were a child, a lot of your magic worked that way, and even though her incidents had always come at weird times they had always been pretty controlled and she wanted to know if she could somehow develop her skill. She knew that not a lot of people could do it, like any other special ability it was hard, so she spent a lot of time in the library trying to hone this ability. She started studying all of this in her third year, and any spare time she had, when she wasn’t doing her regular school work or just hanging out with her friends she would practice and practice. Finally she seemed to hit a breakthrough in her sixth year, she had been trying to get a book to come to her from across the room and she did. She had been so excited she had gone straight to her best friend to let him know, after all he had sometimes spent hours in the library with her, while she studied about the idea. She has continued to practice wandless magic, and even though it hasn’t been perfected yet, she knows that maybe by the end of her seventh year it would come as basically effortless.
