PERSONAL STYLE: Layla is a very relaxed person you won’t see her worrying if she isn’t wearing the right shoes or the right top. She will wear skirts and dresses but she mostly relies on jeans because that’s what she feels most comfortable in. She isn’t overly girly though she has no problem wearing high heels, putting on a little make up to make it look like she puts in a bit of effort. During her free time you will most likely see her wearing jeans, boots, and a pretty cute top. She has no issue wearing sneakers just because she likes her height and has no problem being on the shorter side of the spectrum. Her closet of course varies just because she basically wears everything, she has the skirts and dresses for occasions when it is a must to dress up. She doesn’t bother with a lot of make up on a daily basis mostly lip gloss and eye shadow occasionally, anything beyond that is too much work for her to factor it into her daily routine.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Layla is pretty pale, so she burns easily and it is very noticeable when she blushes. Her hair isn’t extremely dark, but it isn’t light either. Currently it looks more like reddish brown than anything else, and it is at her shoulders. She likes having rather long hair so she is currently growing it out so expect to see it past shoulder length soon. Her eyes are hazel, they look very light with flecks of green in them. She is very self conscious about her smile because her teeth are not perfect, so you will not see her smile very often. But when she feels comfortable enough she will smile at you, including with her teeth, but usually you will only see small smiles. She is pretty slender, she doesn’t have any real muscle, and she doesn’t have a lot of curves either. She can be somewhat graceful in her movements, but there is the occasional klutzy moment that happens.

BIOGRAPHY: Layla was born on a hot August afternoon in Cornwall, England. She is the first and only child of Marcus and Rosemarie Bailey and she was immediately their adoration. Both of Layla’s parents were muggleborn, meaning that she has muggle Grandparents on both sides. This meant that Layla was always part of two worlds both the muggle world and the wizarding world. She didn’t really grow up around other wizarding children apart from the children of her parent’s friends. In all reality Layla loved the muggle world just as much as she did the wizarding world because she adored her grandparents. She had a lot of muggle friends, though she was always told to be careful about accidental magic around them, because there would be consequences if she showed her friends magic. She spent a lot of her days with either set of grandparents while both of her parents worked.

Her father is a healer at St. Mungo’s and her mother works for the department of magical cooperation, which meant that if she ever went to work with her parents she always had a lot to look at. She decided at a very young age that she wanted to work for the ministry after she finished with school. When she was about six years old, her family took their first ever vacation and Layla was very excited. She had gotten used to the idea that her parents were the working type and that she was always at the house of either set of grandparents. But her parents took two weeks off and they traveled to Spain, and that time was one of the happiest in her life. She got to see a lot of the beautiful country and even though she loved Cornwall, the beautiful cities in Spain made her happy. Those two weeks, her parents spoiled her in every way possible and she was truly happy. They had a few vacations after that one, but she would always remember that first one because it was the happiest of them all.

By the time she was eight years old, Layla had become good at making up stories as to what her parents worked in to her muggle friends. She was also waiting to begin Hogwarts even though she knew it wouldn’t happen until she turned eleven. While her muggle friends went to school, she was tutored by her mother’s mother, who was a retired school teacher. She was not allowed to go to regular school because she’d get used to attending regular school and then it would be hard for her to leave it once it came time to attend Hogwarts. By the time she arrived at Hogwarts she was excited to learn how to control her magic, even though she was sad to leave her grandparents, parents and her friends. But she soon made friends at Hogwarts, and it was then that she realized that she had a little quirk in her personality. Layla was usually a very happy and friendly person, but an older student messed with one of her friends and Layla became very upset. It was then that she realized that she could be very mean and vindictive when it came to people hurting her friends, even though she tried her best to keep that part of her personality asleep. She has kept her marks up in all of her classes, because she wants to become Minister of Magic one day.
